So... Hey guys.
I really have no excuse as to why this took so long, live has just been crazy this past year. I really can't apologise enough i just hope ya'll can forgive me and I promise I won't leave you all hanging for so long again. It's probably best to read back through the story so you can get in the swing of things again.

Hope you enjoy!
I have nothing to do with Glee.

It took an embarrassing amount of time for the seven of us to successfully fit all of our crap into two cars and to be able to fit people in also, but we eventually managed. However, I can't say that it was done without an insane amount of frustration and anger, but when we'd finished there was a collective sigh of relief.

With two cars we thought it would be easiest to split up, Finn, Kurt, Puck and Quinn all huddled into one car with the promise to head to Breadstix to pick up Blaine and Rachel, whereas me, Britt and Stevens had drawn the short straw, unfortunately having to take the bigger car to make a stop at the hotel that most of the guys were staying in.

So it was with a few knuckle touches and hugs from Quinn and Kurt that Britt, Stevens and I headed towards the hotel, and I could literally see the nerves edging to boil over on Stevens' face. It's not like I could really do anything about comforting him either since I was the one driving, so with a look to a bopping Britt sat in shotgun I motioned stealthily to one of the back seats where Stevens was silently having a mini panic attack.

Britt, being the amazing person she is, quickly got the gist of the situation and turned the radio's volume down, "You know Stevens, they're not going to hate you. I'm almost certain that they'll be just as obsessed with you as the rest of us already are." She leaned between the two front seats to give his knee a reassuring squeeze.

I nodded unconsciously from my spot, only taking my eyes off the road for a second to send a grateful smile to Britt as she sat herself back down normally. Humming my agreement I decided to add my two cents, "It's true my friend, I mean Puck and I had to put up with you for a full year without resulting in murder so I'm sure you'll get along swimmingly." I grinned when I heard his frustrated huffs behind me, it's not like he could punch me when I was driving now could he?

"Hey I'm not even bothered about that, I'm more bothered about meeting your family S. If they're anything like you then I'm in for a long night."

"Oh hell, I don't think you'd believe me if I told you that her brothers are almost ten times worse!" Brittany span back around to face Stevens, beginning an animated low-down on the needs to know of the Lopez siblings, me again, a seeming third wheel.

By the time we got to the hotel Stevens was looking exceptionally calmer, though once he realised where we were he soon began to pale. "I'm going to call Tina and tell them we're outside, one sec babe." Britt lent over the center console to peck my lips before slipping out of the car. This was the perfect opportunity to get Stevens' head on straight.

I unclipped my seat belt and climbed awkwardly between the two front seats and into the back sitting next to Stevens, much to his shock. I waved off his spluttering and quickly cut him off, "Dude, you're in the army, we get shot at on an almost daily basis in a burning desert. Why the fuck does it scare you so much to meet my friends?" The answer actually genuinely intrigued me, my friends never really were ones to be afraid of, what with all of us being in the glee club, so this is a whole new experience.

Stevens gave a long sigh and leaned his head back as he looked to the roof of the car, "I don't know. It's just I've never really had that many friends and I feel like if these guys don't like me then you and Puck won't either." He looked uncomfortable, wouldn't even look me in my eyes when he spoke.

I shuffled in my seat for a second, I had to tread carefully here, this was the first time that Stevens had really opened up to me and if I was to fuck it up it would definitely be the last. I took a breath, "You know you really are one of the dumbest guys that I've met." His head snapped quickly in my direction, he was obviously hoping for me to give him a hug and tell him he was perfect.

I rolled my eyes and shuffled closer to him, our legs now touching, "It actually baffles me that you think that my friends wouldn't like you. I'm sure if you were to ask my friends they'd tell you that one of the hardest people to please when bringing a new friend to meet the rest of us would be me. You see, I have this Mexican third eye," I pointed to my forehead, "It tells me what people's intentions when it comes to befriending us and from the second that I met you, my Mexican third had nothing but love for you. And from that alone, I know that they will like you." I nudged him slightly with my shoulder, "And to clear it up, once you're friends with the Puckster and I, it's a lifetime decision, you can never get rid of us."

Stevens wrapped his arm around me and squeezed me tightly to his side. We were silent for a few seconds, "Thanks man, I needed that." He kissed me quickly on the head.

I pulled up from my seat and climbed out of the car, "Come on then, it's time for show and tell," I winked at Stevens as I held the door open for him, he made sure to punch my shoulder on his way past.

It was with amazing timing that as soon as Stevens pulled open the hotel door, Britt came stumbling out followed by the rest of our group who looked pretty pissed when Stevens burst out into laugher at Britt's expense. Before one of them could express their discontent though, I made myself known, "Oh Britt baby, you gotta watch where you're going," I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her check, she had just begun laughing which confused our friends.

Britt snuggled impossibly closer, "Oh shush, you know that wasn't my fault," She poked me in my side, "I guess we should probably introduce you to Sanny's friend." Brittany unwrapped herself from me and pulled Stevens from where he had turned as white as a sheet and into our circle, "Guys, this is Stevens the prank guy that San and Puck told us about."

The angry creases soon melted off of all of their faces, realisation soon becoming apparent. Mike was the first to make a move, thrusting his hand out for Stevens to shake, "I'm Mike, it's nice to meet you."

Stevens took his hand and shook it slowly a look of pure confusion on his face. I guess I could probably understand where his confusion came from, Puck and I never really did use the glee clubs actual names when they were brought into conversation, we used all of their nicknames, it made it easier for us to speak about them without getting too homesick.

Stevens glanced at me when he let go of Mike's hand, I motioned with my hands for him to carry on, he needed to make a good impression before they all just thought of him as a dick for laughing at Britt. He seemed to think for a few seconds before his face lit up, he pointed at Mike, his eyes narrow, "You're Asian one right, the one that's the awesome dancer?"

Mike looked offended so Stevens quickly corrected himself, "Dude I'm sorry but you know Satan and her nicknames, she never told me any of your real names." He shrugged a helpless shoulder.

Bemused eyes soon turned towards me, I did my best to look sheepish, "You know how it is, I like my nicknames."

Stevens spoke again, "ok, so would you guys mind if I guess who you all are then? I kinda want to break the awkward tension." He smiled his usual charming smile that made girls swoon; it took mere seconds for everyone to agree.

"To the car then, shall we?" I lifted my arm, gesturing in the direction of our mode of transport.

After a whole load of shuffling around, we eventually managed to fit everyone into the back seats of our car, though Tina did end up sitting on Mike's knee with the promise to duck out of sight if any cops were to drive past.

We had just set off when Stevens started off his little guessing game, he was squished between the side door and Sam, so he poked Sam in his shoulder to get his attention, "So, I think you're the most obvious person for me to guess. You're trouty mouth, right?"

"Pleased to meet you, but the name's Sam, no one ever calls me trouty mouth anymore." He held his hand out for Stevens to shake.

I couldn't help the loud snort that erupted, I didn't even try to cover it up with a cough, "Sure they don't trouty, am I classed as a no one?"

I heard him sigh tiredly behind me and I could only guess that he was rolling his eyes, it's not like he could hit me or anything, I was driving.

Through the rear-view mirror I could see Stevens struggle to lean forward to see Mercedes past Sam, she was looking at him expectantly. He took a moment to consider his options, "You're Wheezy? San always goes on about the crazy duets that you two used to do and wheezy is a pretty cool name and you look pretty cool."

Mercedes made a sound of agreement as she looked Stevens up and down, "Mmmm we're gonna have to keep you around a while longer if you're gonna start smooth talkin'" She lifted her fist for Stevens to bump.

Well this seemed to be going extremely well, Stevens had pretty much won the whole glee club over now, Tina always agreed with Mike's opinions so that was all good, Rachel always went along with Finn so that was also in the clear. And Blaine was so whipped that he'd trust Kurt's opinions too, though he might be a little jealous with how Kurt had been looking at Stevens.

I smiled to myself a little, I couldn't describe what I was feeling, but everything just felt so perfect. I was with my amazing girlfriend surrounded by all of my friends and we were heading to the beach to meet my two favourite families for a night of laughter and fun. I was determined to not let anything pull me down from my high now, I forced myself not to think of how little time I had left to reunite with everyone before it was wheels up and back to the pits of the Earth.

"Ok, so since you're Asian one, I can only assume that you're Asian two?" Stevens chanced a smile at Tina, almost as if to say sorry in advance if he was wrong.

Tina nodded her head in acknowledgement, "That would be me, but I'd much rather you call me by my actual name, I'm Tina." She raised her hand for Stevens to shake. He took it gratefully, then made sure to shake everyone else's hands once they re-introduced themselves with their more boring names.

With all of the introductions out of the way, the rest of the drive to the beach went smoothly with the group making small talk to pass the time. I chipped in a few times but I was much more content to just keep my eyes on the road with the fingers of my right hand interlaced with Britt's on the gearshift.

Pulling into the parking lot of the beach we found that Finn and his crew were already there, Puck sat on the hood of the car with Quinn stood between his legs, Kurt was leant against the hood next to them basking in the rays of the sun quite clearly trying to get his model on. Blaine, Rachel and Finn were the only ones actually pulling their weight, shifting all of the bags filled with everything we would need for our night.

I stopped next to the car and rolled down the window, "Sup my bitches? Hope you didn't miss me too much!" I laughed joyously as they all jumped out of their skin, obviously they didn't see us coming.

Kurt was the first to pipe up, "San you bitch! Is there ever a time when you cannot be so annoying?" He looked pretty dishevelled from his half seated position, his sunglasses only half on his face which he was quickly trying to rearrange.

I belted a quick laugh just to rile him up even more, "Oh Kurtsy, I thought you would know me better by now, your pain feeds my pleasure." I grinned somewhat evilly, well until I got a punch in the arm from Britt. I heaved a sigh, "Fine, we'll go and park up. See ya soon losers!" I sped off quickly and parked in the nearest open space.

Stopping the car I kept the doors locked so no one would be able to run away without helping with the stuff, "So guys, you may be wondering why I have gathered you all here today." I smirked as Stevens and Mike tried their doors to no avail.

"San don't be a dick, open the door I want to go and see Puckerman." Stevens sent me his best death glare but I was so used to it from our time in Afghan that it was more like a puppy's pleading face.

I made my best motherly tutting sound, "Not so fast my dear Stevens, first, I would like you all to grab a bag each and take it to our designated spot. You all clear?" After a few grumbles of acknowledgement I unclicked the doors and let the children free, "Be safe my darlings! Always make sure to stay in pairs!" Sam was quick to give me a mocking laugh.

Soon everyone had scrambled free and it was just little old me left in the car. I leant my head back on the head rest and lolled my eyes closed sighing a tired sigh. The past few days had been havoc, and sure I know it was all going to be worth it once Quinn said yes, but the life had been drained out of me and if I was honest, all I wanted to do for the rest of my time in Lima was snuggle with Britt with the occasional bit of sexy times.

Oh Brittany and sex… I swear the thing that she did with her tongue the other night still has me weak at the knees.

A knock at my window was what pulled me from my brief daydream. Brittany staring at me from the other side of the glass with her gorgeous blue eyes, silently asking for me to hurry the fuck up. She's always so loveable my Britt-Britt.

I sighed, re-collecting my thoughts before swinging open my door and stepping into Britt's waiting arms. She gently pushed the car door closed behind me and leaned in for a quick, but loving, kiss. I was eager to comply.

However, before I had a chance to deepen the kiss Britt had pulled away from me with a menacing grin, she cheekily lifted her hand and wagged her finger no, "Later babe, you know how much I've always wanted to have sex on the beach." She winked.

My heart jumped at that, damn straight I knew all about her beach time fantasies, Britt had described most of them in great detail to me over Skype when I'd been away in Afghan, anything she could say that would help her get her rocks off with me a million miles away.

I smirked, suddenly all too eager to get everything set up on the beach so I could have some alone time with Britt. "I'll hold you to that." I kissed Britt on the cheek quickly before racing around to the back of the car and picking up the remaining bags that were left.

As I scampered past all of our reuniting friends they each turned to me with confused faces, obviously wondering what had set me into a frenzy. I didn't stop for idle chit-chat though, things needed to be done.

Stepping foot onto the heated sand was like stepping in to another world, even when I was rushing to find the perfect spot to set up camp I could feel the calmness washing over me. The repetitive beat of the waves caressing the shore was music to my ears, such a contrast to the repetition of gun shots that I had become accustomed to.

It took mere seconds for me to find an empty piece of sand that was the perfect distance from the sea for our equipment not to get swept away, but not too close to the car park for us to get disturbed. Well, it wasn't really that hard to find a nice patch of sand, the beach we were on wasn't particularly well known to tourists, more of a local paradise which was lucky for us because the beach was practically empty except for a few stragglers who would soon be leaving.

I plunked my bags down and waited impatiently for the rest of the cavalry to arrive, who were coming at an extremely slow pace, basking in the beating sun much to my annoyance, "Will you bitches hurry up? I wants some alone time with my Britt-Britt."

I could hear Puck huff in the distance, "Calm your tits Lezpez, you've got all the time in the world for sexy times but not right now, you're helping set up these tents. We need all the butch help you can give." I wish he was closer so I could rip the smirk off his face.

I scoffed particularly loudly as I scrambled for a quick excuse. I rolled my shoulders and rubbed them with a grimace, "Sorry babe but I can't you know how my shoulders get when I over exert myself."

It was Pucks turn to scoff, "Oh but you're still fully capable of doing some horizontal dancing with your girl? I smell bullshit Lopez."

I shrugged a shoulder, "Since when have I cared what you have to say? Snix does what she wants" I puffed out my chest with my hands on my hips in a shocking attempt to look like a super hero. I then turned with a flourish and waved at Puck with the back of my hand, "See ya later man, I'm off to get some action."

I could hear Puck scamper up behind me before I was forcefully span back around, "Oh hells no you ain't Lopez, I need you to help me put up this tent. We need to talk." His eyes searched mine, desperate for me to understand what he was implying.

I sighed, "You're not getting cold feet are you? I mean you best not cos it's gonna be impossible for you to find another girl who loves you like Q ball."

Puck punched me roughly in the shoulder before quickly checking our surrounds, hoping not to have been overheard. He began to whisper harshly, "Of course not, I just… I dunno I need someone to have my back, to keep reminding me that this wasn't all a huge mistake, because what if she says no? She's the love of my life man, I can't lose her, oh my god she's going to say no isn't she," he started pacing quickly, sand spraying all over my feet.

I rolled my eyes at his stupidity and pushed him, hard. It took all of my will power not to bust out laughing when he fell flat on his ass. I crouched down next to him, "Calm your tits fuckerman, she'd be crazy to say no to you. Just trust me ok?" I patted him on the shoulder and sprang up, picking up the nearest rolled up tent, "You said you needed a hand?"

So I know not much really happened but I thought I'd get it out there so you all know I've not forgotten about this.
