Before really falling asleep that night, Alois had been quite restless. The blonde knew Ciel hadn't belonged to him. He knew that, but still couldn't help but feel let down that he left with a girl while he was fast asleep. Mostly because Ciel's a lot like himself, which made him, almost instinctively, claim him as his own. And what upsets him even more is that he's mad that Ciel has the right to his own choices of who he decides to be around. He just isn't happy about it. Alois is simply angry because he's angry. And that is the most frustrating thing in the world for him.

Alois also isn't one to really show exactly how he's feeling. Even though he seems like an open book, revealing all too much, he's not like that. He hides. He hides under that flashy attitude that sends most everyone around him running straight for the hills. Ciel should've been long gone by now.

This is precisely what captivates him most.

But, no one can know the hell of having what you desire so close, close enough that you can feel their comforting and steady breath on your skin, but so utterly out of reach.

And those are the thoughts that his consciousness was departed with.

That refreshing rest that was quite enjoyable up until he was abruptly awoken by the very boy he had been thinking about the day before.

"ALOIS, WHAT DID I TELL YOU!?" The bluenette sent the blonde nuisance rolling off of the bed. Ciel's bed. Alois had moved to Ciel's bunk again. As he had most likely planed on doing every night in the foreseeable future. And it was pretty much pointless how he had wanted top bunk so badly when they'd moved in. He hit the ground with a thud that would make you flinch.

Ciel was particularly irritated because he had several 'welcome to the school, sorry we have to do this to you' assessments for school. The blonde had to take the same tests, but he wouldn't care if he failed them all anyway.

His words were shaky and nearly unrecognizable as he cursed under his breath. The blonde got wrapped up in his blankets when he fell, so his hair was a mess and his face was shadowy from the blanket that covered his head, making it look like his eyes were glowing. When he pulled himself up he looked like some kind of horrifying monster out of a children's book.

"If you climb into my bed one more time, I will make certain you will regret for the rest of your despondent life," Ciel's uncovered contract was more vibrant than usual because of his temper. He stretched his arms out and got up to start getting ready for school. Meanwhile, Alois was crawling back up onto the bed and curling back up, ready to go back to sleep. Ciel was so done with him.

Alois started faking an illness and made his words sound extra feeble as he spoke, "But, darling, I don't feel good…"

The bluenette proceeded to ignore him, "We have homeroom in an hour. If you're late, I'm not covering for you."

The blonde groaned in response, "You're so un-cute, Ciel." To which, the slate haired boy blushed furiously and pulled off the blankets that Alois had nested himself into, so neatly.

"Noooo... I don't want to~..." Alois whined yet again.

"ONE HOUR, ALOIS."

-~o.O~45 MINUTES LATER I GUESS~O.o~-

Ciel finished preparing his uniform with time to spare. Alois was another story entirely. Like always.

The icy-eyed nuisance decided to pass on the uniform again, just to be difficult. Well, that's not exactly right, either. He wears the jacket, but that's it. And when he does wear it, he leaves it unbuttoned and without the school emblem pinned onto it, like he's supposed to. With it he adorns those, now, trademarked booty shorts and a purple T-shirt under the jacket. Ciel is just satisfied that he doesn't look too ostentatious anymore. Actually, he's glad he at least looks like he might finally be a student at the school, rather than a suspicious character.

The bluenette threw his bag over his shoulder and stepped nearer to their front door, "Alois we have to leave in five minutes. Are you ready yet?"

Alois peeked out from the bathroom doorway with toothpaste all over his mouth and a toothbrush in hand, "Jusht a shecund."

Ciel started leaning on the door, "How is it even physically possible for you to take this long."

And about a minute later, Alois shut the bathroom light off and threw his bag over his shoulder, ready to leave, "Let's go, sweetheart." He beamed annoyingly. Ciel shuddered, but opened the door for them to leave.

This time of day wasn't too busy for students getting to class. The halls were almost completely empty, save for them and a handful of others. Mostly because they were early, but, now that the school year started, student's schedules have been changing to fit their individual needs and desires. Most students, who would maybe be taking classes in the morning, may switch to night classes a few days after starting. The thought process behind this is typically that some students excel at certain times of day and around certain people. When classes are switched around, often times there may be roommates being swapped to make sure an individual can take the same classes as said roommate. It helps promote studying, supposedly.

Luckily, Ciel and Alois had contact with the head office and requested that they keep to their agreed agenda to avoid extra hassle for themselves. Usually the headmaster wouldn't think twice about two kids, who wanted to have things their way, but the headmaster is close to the queen and the queen is close to those two. Even if he wanted to, the headmaster wouldn't have any other choice than to follow through with what was entreated. It's almost as if he was being bullied by them.

Finally the two had gotten to homeroom, where they sat down in their usual seats near the back. Ella was on her phone, in her assigned seat several feet away from the blonde and bluenette. Then Ciel noticed a boy from the club he joined with Alois in the corner, but decided not to say anything to anyone. Up in front was that arrogant prick, Cylus, the boy who had decided he wasgoing to try not being friendly, and a group of his friends to his sides.

Luckily, today, he wasn't in a good enough mood to terrorize the innocent, thanks to all of the exams this afternoon. As his friends kept chatting around him, he looked a bit distant. Ciel just kept expressionlessly staring at him unconsciously until Alois snapped him out of it.

"Hey, Ciel, how many minutes until class starts?" He queried with his face pressed against his desk.

The bluenette turned his head in the direction of the bored looking blonde next to him, "It'll start whenever the teacher gets here, which isn't exactly a reliable set time." Alois grumbled in reply.

Ella suddenly approached them and asked, "What are you two doing after school? A few people I know were going to do something to celebrate the beginning of the school year, but we need a few more people." Ciel paused for a moment to think. This pause was pretty long considering they were pretty much free this afternoon, and he knew that. So, what was he thinking about?

"… I think we're busy, so maybe another time?" But, they aren't busy. Ciel already studied the night before and after the assessment they had today, they weren't supposed to get any homework for today nor tomorrow. They didn't even have to meet up with their club this afternoon. Alois had a confused manifestation on his face but it wasn't perceptible since his face was still firmly pressed into his desk out of tedium.

Ella smiled and nodded, "That's alright, and I just figured I might ask." Ciel grinned back and then lowered his expression as soon as she had left to go back to her own seat. The blonde figured it wouldn't really matter if he asked him about it anyway, so he dropped it and they went on with their day as usual.

The time slowly ticked on and the tests they took were gradually completed. Both of them had most likely scored highly, as well. They're both intelligent, it's just that one actually tries and the other one doesn't feeeeeeeeel like it.

Anyway, they had both decided to head back together. Neither of them had really spoken at all, which seemed off to both of them, but neither of them said anything to the other. Ciel was just sort of tired and Alois wasn't feeling his greatest. He wasn't sick. He was just off today and started getting a bit flustered every time he thought about Ciel. He felt like he needed to go outside and be alone. At the very least, away from Ciel himself. But, he would wait until they got back home, a.k.a. their dorm edifice.

The duo dropped their bags off at their room and, almost instantaneously after getting there, Ciel rolled onto his bed.

Alois skimmed around the room groggily, "Have you seen a prescription bottle anywhere?"

The bluenette perked up, "What? Why? I don't recall."

The blonde groaned and started skimming through drawers, "You sure you haven't seen one?" He started getting somewhat irritated.

"No, sorry. Why? Is it important?" Ciel went on, staring at the underside of Alois's bunk.

The icy-eyed boy shrugged, getting more aggravated. He started looking under the bed and around the floor, but couldn't find it. He finally sighed and stood back up. He could feel his chest getting hot, so he took a deep breath and sat down by where Ciel was lying down.

Alois is bipolar. Ciel knows this to an extent, but doesn't really know much about it since it doesn't concern him. He has to take medication every day to control his temper, even though he doesn't like to. He just takes it because Claude makes him. He doesn't think it feels right to be drugged up to a degree where people don't really know the genuine you. But, he takes it. Somewhat out of courtesy to others.

When he doesn't take it when he's supposed to, his sentiments can get a bit out of hand. He can either get easily mad, or easily happy, and it can switch between the two as easily as turning a light switch on and back off again. It can be very emotionally wearing for him, and has brought him to very low points in the past.

He grabs a jacket from the coat rack and gets ready to take a breather. Ciel turns and looks to him before he leaves.

Ciel looks to the ground and meets with Alois's eyes again, "You could try calling Claude and asking him to bring you some more of that medication."

The blonde rolled his eyes faintly, "…Yeah… Well… I'll be outside for a bit, alright? Try not to run away on me while I'm out."

"Don't do anything stupid, Alois."

Alois smiled briefly and stopped as soon as he stepped out. He shut the door behind him and leaned back, trying to control his breathing. He was getting short tempered as the minutes ticked on, longing for his suppository. He kept walking until he reached the front door and gladly accepted the cold breeze that stung his skin when he stepped out.

Then he kept walking. While he was walking, it had seemed like everything was moving quickly around him. He couldn't focus the way he wanted to because he was getting angry at everything. And on top of that, he felt a deep, draining sorrow. For no reason at all. At least, no reason that he knew of.

And that anger multiplied as soon as he saw Cylus walk up from behind him.
