FinalFantasyCrazedGirl01: Sorry for the wait, I was majorly stuck.

Don't question me with the randomness of this. I came up with the rough draft at 12:00 AM.

~Aoi's POV~

My head spun as I walked out of the hospital. I stumbled off to the side, and hid in the shadows. I held my head as the world doubled.

Dang. I can't collapse, then they'll put me in a hospital room! I thought fiercely, glaring at the figure in front of me.

...

Wait, what?

"Hello, Aoi. It's been a while." A voice said in a soothing tone.

"W-what are you doing here?" My voice trembled as the woman walked closer, and I mentally cursed myself as a flicker of triumph crossed her pretty features.

"To get revenge on your friend, silly." She cocked her head, the smile never leaving her face.

It was meant to be relaxing, but it only came across as sinister.

"S'okay, everything's cool 'tween us!" I stepped back, then started panicking as my back hit the wall.

"Aoi," Her voice dipped, now sounding menacing. "We made a deal. It's time to finish it. All I'm asking for you to do is keep an eye on the Knight of Sound. Report to me if he starts to look for me, or seems to figure out our deal," Smile. "That doesn't sound too hard, hmm?"

That wasn't a question. That was an order. My silence seemed to anger her. The smile turned furious.

"If you don't, I'll kill the rest of them one by one, and I'll make you watch. Understood?"

My heart sank. Crap. Crap crap crap CRAP! There's no way out of this!

"I might start with, hmm, what's his name, Go?" My feet felt frozen. Then I let a smirk slip my lips.

"Sure, go ahead. It's not like we're close or anything." She appeared startled.

I really wished I had a way to contact the guys...dang, why didn't I think of this before?!

"Aoi~" She purred, stepping closer.

I couldn't help but gulp.

"DIE!" She snarled, and I let out a small scream.

Her hand shot into my chest, and went all the way through to the wall.

"If you won't work with me, you won't work with anyone."

"I...thought...you'd kill...the others..." I gasped as she yanked out her hand.

I slumped to the ground.

"Well, I can use the others for things. You aren't needed."

I tried to take in air, but it felt like my lungs had collapsed.

"You have about a minute to say goodbye." She sneered down at me.

"Sweet dreams."

The world went black.

Floating.

I'm floating.

Why am I floating?

"Duh.

"Dead people float."

I glanced around. A figure that was completely white watched me. The figure was so
androgynous that I couldn't tell if it was male or female.

For all I knew, it was both.

"Hello, dead person. Welcome to the space between." It said sarcastically.

"...D-dead?" I stuttered.

"Well, duh. You wouldn't be here if you weren't."

"So, I died back there?"

"...Seriously?"

Okay, this guy is really pushing my buttons.

"Well excuse me for being a little out of it! I just died, ya know!" I snapped, hands on hips.

The figure smirked. "Feisty. I like you already."

I sighed. "So where am I, exactly? The afterlife?"

"Nope. I told you, but maybe you weren't listening," The person said sarcastically. "You're in the space between."

"And where is that?!"

"Nowhere, and everywhere."

I grew increasingly frustrated with it's reply. "That's so vague, it doesn't make any sense."

"Sorry, sense doesn't exist here."

"What do you mean?"

"Have you ever seen a flying purple elephant?"

"...Can't say I have."

It smirked, and a PURPLE ELEPHANT WITH WINGS FLEW PAST MY FACE!

"For the love of all things sweet!" I shrieked as a monkey latched onto my face.

"Hello! Hello!"

"Bob, that aughta be enough. You're scaring the girl." A guy with a doughnut for a head grabbed the monkey off my face.

"Hello! Hello!"

I blinked, wiping the monkey drool off my face.

Gross.

"Is that all he can say?"

"Hello! Hello!" The monkey, that was dressed like a banana, chattered.

Seriously, he had a yellow suit on and looked like a banana.

"Yup." The doughnut guy said.

I must be either drunk, crazy, or...or...

"Hello, sweetheart." A voice said silkily.

I whirled, fists raised.

Yup, my ex is standing there.

Hallucinating it is.

"Skylar...What are you doing here?" My voice cracked.

"Why, I'm dead, just like you." He shrugged, hands in his jean pockets.

He looked totally relaxed, which angered me to no ends.

"Get out!" I yelled, hand coming up to slap the s*** out of him.

He didn't look scared at all. "Can't go anywhere, sorry."

I blinked, frustrated.

"You!" I whirled to the faceless, genderless person. "Get me out of here!"

"Can't, until someone comes to get you." It shrugged.

"What?!" I yelled.

"I gotta get a sacrifice 'fore I can let you go." It responded.

"Who came up with that bloody rule?!"

"Dunno, actually."

"Argh!"

Fin~

What a weird chapter. Aoi's dead, and is in some crazy place with people with donuts for heads. O_o

Plus there's a talking monkey dressed like a monkey.

Nothing can beat that.
