Hi! Sorry I haven't updated in such a long time! Been a bit busy. Anyways here is the next chapter.
Annabeth's POV
I showed Nico and Will to their dorms. They both seemed pretty relaxed. I was quite glad that they had come. It would take a lot of weight off our shoulders. I went to the common room to read some more. I really liked the subject transfiguration, and I wanted to find out more about it.
I had just opened the book, when Percy came to up to me with a serious look on his face.
"Annabeth, there is something I should tell you." I looked up confused.
"What is it? Is something wrong?" I asked unsure.
"I'm not sure. I went into the lake today, you know, I felt that I needed to connect with the water for a while. I had a nice chat with the merpeople." He said.
"Yes okay, carry on." I replied impatiently.
"The funny thing was, I sensed a strong power in the lake. Something that didn't belong in the water. So being curious, I swam to where I thought the power was based. I saw something glowing slightly, so I went further down. It looked to be some sort of crown, or tiara. When I tried to go closer to it, it was like I banged into an invisible wall. I couldn't get close. An aura of power was surrounding it, stopping me from getting near it." He explained. I sat there quietly stunned. I thought it over looking for a possible logical explanation.
"Hmm. That does seem a bit weird. This is a magical place, maybe that sort if thing is normal?" I suggested. He looked doubtful. "I will ask Hermione about it, and see what she thinks."
Time skip
Hermione's POV
Harry had been going to a lot of meetings with Dumbledore lately. Ron and I insisted that he was to tell us everything exactly, what had happened. That he did. When he mentioned the word horcrux, it caught my attention. Annabeth had said something, about a crown Percy had found in the lake. I had a feeling that it might be connected to something Harry said about the meetings. I did some research on the word horcrux. He had said somethig about it earlier, I thought it could be related to what Annabeth said. I had to get a note to go in the restricted section. When I found nothing I was even more curious than before. Usually anything about magic, would almost certainly be in the library. But horcrux wasn't. As Harry told us more and more about the meetings with Dumbledore, I got more and more eager for the knowledge. Still nothing. When Harry said that he had to get a memory from Slughorn about the topic I was intrigued.
I had sort of befriended Will and Nico. Nico still hadn't said anything about Harry and his parents yet. I was strating to wonder if he would keep his promise about arrangin a time to see his parents. Overall they were pretty nice. Though Nico tended to keep to himself and Will loved to talk. Annabeth and I were becoming close friends, amd I had introduced her to Ginny. She seemed to quite like Ginny, and even taught us some of her training with her dagger, saying that we need some manual self defence.
Sorry for the shortness of the chapter.
If the story is all over the place then I am sorry. This chaper is a bit weird.
