Part 9:

"Oh mai GAWD, XENON?" Kick yelled. Magical put his hand over her mouth.
Xenon wore make up. Her eyeshadow was orange in colour, and her lips were covered with red lipstick. She also wore red contact lenses and had a Japanese maid uniform with dragon pendant. Her hair was tied into a bun as well.
The other 8 were MFS, Misfit, Arcoz, Video, Dire, Dao, Deadly and AJ.
MFS was wearing a woolen mouse cap, Misfit's vest was black and white, which are the patterns of a cow. Arcoz's hair was styled in a way that she looked ferocious, and was wearing a long fake fur coat with a dress and high heeled boots. Video had cute bunny ears on her head and was wearing a cute Japanese maid costume. Dire's hair had been messed up quite a bit, but it resembled a hairstyle that of Rainbow Dash's. Dao had a colourful coat that resembled the feathers of a rooster, Deadly had a fake dog tail stuck onto her dress, and AJ's hair was tied into pigtails.
"Hey Magical, how're you?" Misfit asked.
"I'm fine, but who are Hebi, Hitsuji and Saru?"
"Oh, those three?" AJ piped up. "We saw them, but we don't even know if they're with the King or us."
"I see...hold on, is the King Japanese or what?"
"He's not. He just likes to hold Japanese-themed parties," Video replied.
"By the way, just call us by the nicknames," Dire said.

"Say..." Magical started. "Where's Ssun?"
The nine shrugged. "I don't know," Dire said.
"He's been missing ever since that light appeared," MFS added in.
"Out of the 33 Mods and Ex-Mods, only Ssun is missing," AJ thought out loud.
"To be honest with you, I hate wearing makeup..." Xenon grumbled.
"This coat is uncomfortable," Dao added in. "But we have to wear these for the sake of the party."

"I see you've found them," Dmuds said through the microphone.
"Yep, are they your soldiers?" Kick asked.
"Only Video is, we found the other 8 seeking refuge in a small village when our troops passed by it. Since we couldn't let the king know that they were staff and ex-staff, we let them have fake names. hence the Japanese names, no?"
"How about the remaining three, Hebi, Hitsuji and Saru?" Arcoz borrowed Magical's headgear.
"We don't know, Arcoz. Maybe one of them could be Ssun, but I really don't know."

Meanwhile at Athens, Demon and Hubble's side...
"Demon, you're in charge of placing the poison in, right?"
"Yes. Thank god I'm wearing pants, not a skirt."
"So me and Hubble will lower you down, alright?" Athens asked.
"Demon, the poison is untraceable. This means that someone else has to taste the food to see if the poison is there," Pwnage spoke through her microphone.

Demon looked into the window. A cook was there, chopping up some carrots and potatoes. She then put them into a pot.
"Topaz, are the vegetables ready?" A gruff voice called.
"Almost, Mikael, just a few more minutes. The chicken, wine, rice, cheese and soup are ready. Only the vegetables are left."

Topaz then scooped out the vegetables, put them on a plate and scurried over to the table that was directly below the window. Luckily for Demon, she did not notice anything.
She arranged the vegetables neatly, and just by coincidence, they spelled...
"USN?" Demon muttered.
Topaz's ears piped up. She looked around her, before going back to the vegetables.
"That was close," Demon muttered.
"Topaz!" Another female voice called. "Are you done? If so, do not serve the food until ten. The king wants it to be on time, not a second late or early!"
"Okay then. Should I cover the dish?"
"Of course! You wouldn't want the king to eat a dish that has been nibbled by houseflies, right?"

Topaz then walked out of the kitchen.
"Let's do it!" Athens whispered.
Demon opened the window slightly. Hubble held on to her legs, while Athens grabbed Hubble's legs.
The two slowly lowered Demon to the plate of food. Demon lifted the cover up and sprinkled some of the poison in the jug of wine, but suddenly...
"Topaz! It's almost time. Bring the food out now!"
"Hurry up!" Hearing the voices, Athens and Hubble quickly pulled Demon up. They closed the window and heaved a sigh of relief.
"That was close," Athens remarked. She looked at the entrance. There were still people streaming into the Hall.
"Let's go in now."

The three got off the roof and walked to the front of the entrance.
The guard at the door, as usual, said, "Invitations?"
"Here you go," Hubble handed over her invitation, and so did the other two.

They hurried into the main Hall, where the King had planned to announce to the citizens and his soldiers about their success in taking over the server.

"Sera, is that the king?" Kick whispered to Sera. The thirteen, together with the nine waiters and the other ten were already inside.
"But...he looks so young!" Yomc exclaimed.
"Mysterious, isn't it?" Misfit remarked.

"Before I begin my announcement, Avery, come here, taste this wine to see if there is poison. Betrayers are bound to do such horrible deeds if they happen to be here."
A chubby person toddled up to the King. He poured himself a small cup of wine. Just as the first drop of wine dripped into his mouth...
"ARRRGH!" He collapsed onto the floor.
"Avery!" Mikael, the head chef, yelled. Topaz's eyes widened. "What happened, Topaz?" A female with long blue hair came running up to her.
"I don't know, Marina," Topaz sighed.
At that moment, an army tank burst into the wall, and so did a few other tanks.
"What's happening?!" The King yelled. Thousands of soldiers started streaming in from the curtains behind his chair. Dmuds jumped out of one of the tanks, followed by Pwnage, and their soldiers.
Dao took off her coat. She was still wearing her usual outfit, but her katana was well hidden on her back.
"Xenon, back me up!" Xenon nodded as she followed Dao to attack the enemy troops. Both of them had already taken down about 100 when Dmuds screamed at everyone, including the soldiers to get in the army tanks.
"Dao, Xenon! We gotta go!" AJ repeated Dmuds' words.
"Alright."
The 33 ran towards one of the army tanks, but some of their soldiers continued to fend the enemy off.
"You know what to do right?" Pwnage said to one of the soldiers. She nodded and jumped into one of the army tanks. That was their way of escaping.
Together with Dmuds, Pwnage and the 33, the remaining soldiers ran back into the army tanks and drove away instantly.
The King, however, had ordered two of his guards to chase after them.
"Pwnage, hurry! They're hot on our heels," Colin begged.
"No problem." Pwnage accelerated and the tank drove at full speed.

Within a few minutes, the guards gave up and went back. The army tanks continued going back to BuildIt. By then, it was already 2 in the morning.

"Hey guys, we're back!" Dmuds exclaimed.
No response.
"Guys?" She asked again, and walked into the building.
There was snoring. Everyone was already asleep.

Another army tank suddenly appeared. One of the soldiers ran up to Dmuds and said, "General Dmuds, all of us managed to escape, alive. However, we're in danger."
"What danger?" Dmuds asked, trying to keep calm when she was really panicking.
"The King knows that you've betrayed him."
"Oh, that?" Dmuds started laughing. "I knew that would happen. No offence, but the King is actually somewhat too young and a bit blur to think of another plan within a month. So, we're safe for now."
"I see."
