You need to listen to Katy Perry's 'Unconditionally' to understand the first part of the story. It's a really beautiful song but I believe that only few can hold that pitch.

RoseGranger123: You were right, it was the puppy dog trick but you were wrong about the present's part! And I'm sorry because you tell me to update soon every time and each time I only do it a few weeks later.

Dream lighting: I really hope that Harry asks her out soon but I just wanna tell you that it won't happen in the first three books. Yes, I understand your pain! Here's the next chapter, hope you like it.

BurnedSpy: Thank you soooooo much for reviewing and I hope that you like this one.

aleksitupper19: Thank you so much for reviewing, it really means a lot.

Amelia bella1: I'm glad that you're enjoying this story and I hope that you keep liking it! Your review means a lot.

Chapter 10: Nicholas Flamel and Pranking The Slytherins

"Unconditionaaaaaaaaal,
unconditionally. I will love youuuuuu
-"

"-Susan, please stop wailing"

"-uncondition-"

"Susan, you are destroying my ears" said Hanna, shutting her book

"-ally" finished Susan and took a deep breath.

"Thank God, its over-"

"There is no fear nooooooow-"

"Oh for Merlin's sake" sighed Amelia, shutting her book too. Mandy was the only one left who was resolutely doing her work. Perhaps the cotton that she had stuck in her ears was enabling her to ignore Susan's howls.

"-Let go and just be free-" Susan sang going closer to Mandy.

"I will love youuuuuuu-"

"Alright, alright, fine. You win." Mandy closed her books and gave Susan an irritated look.

"Of course I win; I shouldn't have even had to do that. It's a warm day and you guys are being all boring" said Susan with a pout.

"Oh I'm sorry, did my dream of at least getting a passing grade tomorrow in Snape's test hindering your day?" asked Amelia dryly

"Yes" said Susan matter of factly.

"Susan, what do you want us to do?" asked Hanna with a sigh

"To close your books and have fun" said Susan promptly

"And how do you propose we have fun?" asked Amelia again in a dry tone

"Ummm we could…." Susan trailed off thinking hard.

"You plan it out while we three study" said Mandy and she reopened her book

"NO" Susan shouted. The three of them paused and looked up at Susan, wondering if some demon had possessed the normally dry or sweet Susan.

"No one will dare open a book unless I give them permission to do so, is that clear?" said Susan in a low dangerous tone

"Yes" Amelia said and gulped, the remaining two just stared at Susan with open mouths.

"We are… going to prank a Slytherin before midnight" said Susan with a clap, pleased with the idea.

"Are you mental, Susan? They will eat us alive" said Hanna, worry already all over her face

"They will eat us alive only if they catch us and they won't" assured Susan

"I quite like the idea of pranking" mused Amelia "but I really have to study for Snape, Susan. Maybe some other day"

"I'm just trying to bring some fun into your boring, miserable lives" said Susan and plopped down at the bench in the corner of the courtyard.

"Yeah Amelia, what's with you, Granger, Twin Weasley and Potter? You four are always in the library in your free time" said Mandy curiously

"Speaking of them" Amelia jumped up and packed her books "I told them that I'd meet them in fifteen minutes in the common room."

"Alright then" said Susan grumpily "Go hang out with the Gryffindors"

Amelia paused and looked at Susan.

"What's wrong?" asked Amelia

"Nothing, just go" said Susan folding her hands and looking away.

"What she means is" said Hanna in a gentle tone "ever since you've been friends with Harry and Granger, you're spending less time with us."

"Oh" Amelia's mouth dropped open. She hadn't expected Hanna to say this. Amelia shut her mouth and reopened it to start explaining.

"Look guys, I'm not abandoning you or anything-"

"-Sure" muttered Mandy

"-I'm working on something with them and it's really important. I feel like if I don't help them then something could go seriously wrong-"

"-Then tell us what it is. We'll help you too" said Hanna

"Yeah Amelia, you can trust us" said Mandy

"I appreciate it but I promised them that I won't tell a soul and you all have souls" Amelia saw Susan about to interrupt again and she hurried "Look, I'll talk to you later okay? I really have to go."

Amelia picked up her books and walked away. She hated this. Ever since the holidays had ended and everybody had arrived back in the castle, Hermione had forced Harry, Ron and her to spend their every waking, free moment in the library. She got that it was important but in the process she was losing her really close friends.

Amelia climbed through the portrait hole and immediately found Ron and Hermione playing chess. Chess was the only thing that Hermione ever lost at which was good for Hermione's health.

"Guys, I'm here-"

"Shhh" Ron motioned with his fingers as he stared at the board. Hermione was staring at the board as well.

The Portrait Hole opened again and in came Harry, drenched in mud and sweat. Amelia took a couple of steps back from Harry when she smelled him; even Hermione looked up from the board.

"Don't talk to me for a moment," said Ron when Harry sat down next to him, "I need to concen—" He caught sight of Harry's face.

"What's the matter with you? You look terrible."

When Amelia looked at him through the mud, Harry's face was pale as though he'd just seen Dumbledore at the Hawaii Beach in shorts printed with palm trees.

Amelia giggled. They all turned to look at her but decided to ignore her.

Harry told in a low voice about Snape's sudden desire to referee the next Quidditch game.

All traces of a smile were wiped off from Amelia's face as pondered over the number of ways in which Snape could hurt Harry.

"Don't play," said Hermione at once.

"Say you're ill," said Ron.

"Pretend to break your leg," Hermione suggested.

"Really break your leg," said Ron.

Amelia agreed with Ron, drastic situations needed drastic measures and Snape refereeing a Quidditch match of all things was drastic indeed.

"I can't," said Harry. "There isn't a reserve Seeker. If I back out, Gryffindor can't play at all."

At that moment Neville toppled into the common room. His legs had been stuck together with what they recognized at once as the Leg-Locker Curse.

Hermione leapt up and performed the countercurse. Neville's legs sprang apart and he got to his feet, trembling. "What happened?" Hermione asked him, leading him over to sit with Harry and Ron.

"Malfoy," said Neville shakily. "I met him outside the library. He said he'd been looking for someone to practice that on."

"Malfoy did this to you?" asked Amelia outraged

"Go to Professor McGonagall!" Hermione urged Neville. "Report him!"

Neville shook his head.

"I don't want more trouble," he mumbled.

"You've got to stand up to him, Neville!" said Ron. "He's used to walking all over people, but that's no reason to lie down in front of him and make it easier."

"There's no need to tell me I'm not brave enough to be in Gryffindor, Malfoy's already done that," Neville choked out.

Harry put his hand in his pocket and took out a chocolate frog which he gave to Neville, who looked close to tears.

"You're worth twelve of Malfoy," Harry said. "The Sorting Hat chose you for Gryffindor, didn't it? And where's Malfoy? In stinking Slytherin."

Stinking Slytherin…Amelia liked that.

"Thanks, Harry… I think I'll go to bed… D'you want the card, you collect them, don't you?"

"Dumbledore again," Harry said, taking the card, "He was the first one I ever —"

He gasped. He stared at the back of the card. Then he looked up at Ron, Hermione and Amelia.

"I've found him!" he whispered. "I've found Flamel! I told you I'd read the name somewhere before, I read it on the train coming here — listen to this: 'Dumbledore is particularly famous for his defeat of the dark wizard Grindelwald in 1945, for the discovery of the twelve uses of dragon's blood, and his work on alchemy with his partner, Nicolas Flamel'!"

Hermione jumped to her feet.

"Stay there!" she said, and she sprinted up the stairs to the girls' dormitories. Harry and Ron turned to look at Amelia questioningly but she just shrugged her shoulders.

Hermione rushed back with an enormous old book in her arms.

"I never thought to look in here!" she whispered excitedly. "I got this out of the library weeks ago for a bit of light reading."

"Light?" said Ron, but Hermione told him to be quiet until she'd looked something up, and started flicking frantically through the pages, muttering to herself.

At last she found what she was looking for.

"I knew it! I knew it!"

"Are we allowed to speak yet?" said Ron grumpily. Hermione ignored him.

"Nicolas Flamel," she whispered dramatically, "is the only known maker of the Sorcerer's Stone!"

Amelia felt herself go blank. Sorcerer's Stone? She wasn't sure she had heard anything about it before.

"The what?" said Harry and Ron.

"Oh, honestly, don't you three read? Look – read that, there."

Amelia bent over the book along with Harry and Ron to see what the hype was about.

The ancient study of alchemy is concerned with making the Sorcerer's Stone, a legendary substance with astonishing powers. The stone will transform any metal into pure gold. It also produces the Elixir of Life, which will make the drinker immortal.

There have been many reports of the Sorcerer's Stone over the centuries, but the only Stone currently in existence belongs to Mr. Nicolas Flamel, the noted alchemist and opera lover. Mr. Flamel, who celebrated his six hundred and sixty-fifth birthday last year, enjoys a quiet life in Devon with his wife, Perenelle (six hundred and fifty-eight).

"See?" said Hermione, when they had finished. "The dog must be guarding Flamel's Sorcerer's Stone! I bet he asked Dumbledore to keep it safe for him, because they're friends and he knew someone was after it, that's why he wanted the Stone moved out of Gringotts!"

"A stone that makes gold and stops you from ever dying!" said Harry. "No wonder Snape's after it! Anyone would want it."

"And no wonder we couldn't find Flamel in that Study of Recent Developments in Wizardry," said Ron. "He's not exactly recent if he's six hundred and sixty-five, is he?"

"Does this mean that we wouldn't ever have to be in the library to search for Flamel ever again?"

"I hadn't thought about that" said Ron and then the two got up and hugged each other.

"I've missed you, Ronnie"

"I've missed eating without worrying how much time I've left to eat."

Amelia shoved him hard.

Harry, Ron and Hermione started laughing. Amelia got up and walked towards the Portrait Hole.

"Where're you going?" yelled Ron

"To get some air and sunshine" yelled Amelia

"You want sunshine at six o clock in the evening?" asked Ron confused

Amelia decided to ignore him.

As she had hoped and prayed, Susan, Hanna and Mandy were still sitting in the courtyard and surprisingly the three of them were studying.

"C'mon let's go prank some Stinking Slytherins"

-Line Break-

"Seriously, out of all the Slytherins, you want to prank Malfoy?" asked Susan incredulously

"Yes" Amelia answered back.

"You do know that Crabbe and Goyle are Slytherins right?" asked Hanna.

"Yes" Amelia answered back.

"And you still want to prank Malfoy?" asked Mandy

"Yes" Amelia said impatiently "He's used to stepping all over people; I want him to know how it feels."

Hanna sighed, giving up on trying to tame Amelia "Are you sure that he's in the library?"

"That's what Neville said" said Amelia.

"Look, I would love to prank Malfoy-"Mandy broke off at the disbelieving looks that they gave her "-No, I really would but can we prank him outside the Library? I don't want to disturb the other students in there."

"C'mon Mandy, you have this whoop cushion and you're telling me that you don't want to do this even once?" asked Amelia incredulously.

"It's whoopie cushion not whoop and I was actually thinking of doing this on you" said Mandy with an innocent smile.

She was of course, whacked in the arm.

"Okay so here's the plan, the moment he gets up to do whatever, Susan and Mandy will go his table and put this" she gestured at the whoopie cushion "on his chair. Meanwhile, Hanna will distract Crabbe and Goyle-"

"Why do I have to distract them?" asked Hanna, whining.

"Because it is the easiest job and you are new in this business" said Susan matter-of-factly and was subjected to a very hard glare.

"As I was saying" Amelia gave a look to Hanna and Susan "You will distract the giants and I will go and talk to Malfoy, giving you two time to put the cushion and make it invisible. Any questions?"

"What if we get caught?" asked Hanna

"We get detention. Any intelligent questions?" asked Amelia, now she was being subjected to the hard glare.

When the remaining three shook their heads, Amelia nodded and the four gave each other high fives and entered the Library.

The blonde mop of hair plastered to a pale face was easily distinguishable and the four waited behind the shelf just next to the Slytherin's table but with the two giants and the arrogant jerk was an ugly girl.

"What do we do about Pansy Parkinson? She wasn't part of the plan" hissed Susan in Amelia's ear.

"We improvise" Amelia hissed back.

"I am going to get a book on Herbology; the book assigned to us is useless. I don't know, what that Sprout woman was thinking" came the arrogant voice of Draco Malfoy

Hanna tightened her fists and Mandy tried to calm her down.

"I will come with you Draco" said snotty Pansy Parkinson "I don't understand a word in this book either."

"You wouldn't understand a word in any book, you dumb idiot" muttered Hanna vehemently.

Amelia was in shock, she had never seen this side of gentle, sweet Hanna before.

"Alright" said Draco, but his tone was a little uncertain "Crabbe, Goyle, you two stay here. We will be back in a minute."

There was a sound of chairs being shoved back and then the sound of footsteps receding away.

"Okay, Hanna go talk to Crabbe and Goyle, I will go and deal with Malfoy and Parkinson."

"May the odds be ever in your favor" said Susan

"What?" asked Amelia.

"It's from this muggle movie I saw during the holidays, its awesome-"

"-C'mon let's go" interrupted Mandy and then Hanna went to the table to distract Crabbe and Goyle.

"You go after Malfoy and Parkinson Amelia" said Mandy

Amelia went quietly to the Herbology section where she assumed that the two would be and sure enough she heard Parkinson prattling on and on and Draco trying to ignore her and looking for books.

"I though I heard you" said Amelia dryly with a book in hand which she had picked up on the way.

"Weasley" they both muttered in sync, one shrilly and the other with loathe.

"Malfoy and Parkinson, may I ask what you two are doing all alone in the Herbology section?" asked Amelia, smirking.

"No you may not" said Malfoy coolly. Pansy gave a shriek of laughter and Draco and Amelia winced.

"Draco, I need to talk to you, alone" Amelia emphasized the last part.

"Why would I talk with you Weasley?" asked Malfoy with a smirk.

Amelia took a deep breath and tried to control her anger.

"Vice versa, Malfoy" said Amelia "Wait do you even know what it means?"

Draco just raised his eyebrow.

"Okay, fine I really need to talk to you Malfoy, just this once. I wont bother you again, I promise" said Amelia pleadingly

"Draco" Pansy simpered "You wouldn't talk to a blood traitor, would you?"

Amelia, once again took a deep breath.

"And besides, what does vice versa even mean?" Pansy continued and ended her sentence with what she thought was an adorable expression.

I assure you it was not.

"Why don't you go and search for a dictionary" Draco turned towards Amelia "Meanwhile you and I will talk."

"But I don't-"

"Pansy" interrupted Draco "Please, for me?" he looked like he was going to vomit any second.

Amelia felt that she was going to burst with laughter, when she saw the lovesick expression on Pansy's face.

"Okay Draco, I will go for you" Pansy gave Draco one last smile, Amelia one last glare and left.

It was just the two of them.

Now, Amelia thought of a crucial problem. She didn't know what to say to Malfoy. Any other person, she would have cracked a joke but around Malfoy, she just wanted to hit a wall.

"You wanted to say something?" asked Draco with his eyebrow raised.

Damn that eyebrow.

"Do you always treat your friends like this?" asked Amelia

"It's none of your business" said Draco with his eyebrow still raised "Besides, she's not my friend."

"Oh, okay" Amelia said and then of course an awkward silence fell between the two of them.

"Weasley, will you say something or not?" Draco finally burst out impatiently.

"Do you know anything about Valentine's Day?" asked Amelia and then she immediately wanted to hit her head against the wall. But first she'll hit Lavender and Parvati for talking about this day non stop.

"I have an idea, yes" said Draco but this time uncertainly.

He looked really awkward right now. Amelia decided that this was the perfect time to be evil.

"I really like your eyes Draco" said Amelia taking one step forward and looking like she was in a trance.

"Um, thank you" said Draco taking one step back hurriedly.

"No Draco, really I think about your deep grey eyes when I lie in bed awake at night" said Amelia taking another step forward and pretending to blush.

"Oh really?" asked Malfoy, his voice shaky as he took another step back.

"When I heard that Valentine's Day was just in a few weeks, I immediately thought of you. I want you Draco" Amelia said, congratulating herself in her mind at the terror which was clouding his face.

He's probably thinking that he's got two Pansy's in his hands now, Amelia thought smugly.

Amelia went closer to Malfoy when his back finally hit the wall. He looked here and there for escape but he could find none. Amelia reached him and then-

Burst out laughing, hard.

"You should have" Amelia gasped clutching her stomach tightly "Seen your face."

"What?" Draco asked bewildered.

"I was taking the mickey out of you, silly" said Amelia smiling.

"Weasley" Draco took out his wand and pointed it at her. His deep, grey eyes were flashing with anger.

"Whoa" said Amelia raising her hands up "I was joking Malfoy. I just wanted to tell you that the Herbology essay has to be submitted this Wednesday and not Friday."

"Don't ever do that again" said Malfoy putting his wand back in his pocket "Do you understand?"

"Yes" Amelia squeaked and then cleared her throat which caused Malfoy to turn back to his arrogant, smirky, evil self.

"Is that all then?" asked Draco with his eyebrow raised again.

"No, there's one more thing" said Amelia but this time she stayed at her place.

"Yes?"

"How do you deal with Pansy's high pitch voice?" asked Amelia curiously.

She actually had been wondering that for a long time now.

"You get used to it" this time Draco gave Amelia an actual smile and she thought that he looked much better.

"Get used to what?" asked the very object of their discussion.

"Nothing" Draco replied coolly with a smirk.

"Anyways, I couldn't find the dictionary but I just saw Hanna Abbott talking to Crabbe and Goyle" said Pansy in amazement.

"Isn't Hanna Abbott your friend?" asked Draco turning to Amelia.

"Yes she is" said Amelia

"Why is she talking with my friends?"

"How am I supposed to know" said Amelia defensively.

"C'mon lets go find out" said Draco beginning to walk away.

"Wait, Draco you haven't got your book" shouted Amelia in a desperate attempt to stop Malfoy.

Draco slowly turned to look at her "How do you know that I was here to get a book?" he said suspiciously.

Amelia looked blank for a moment then with a smirk she said "What else would you get in a Library?"

"Fair enough" he said. He grabbed a random book and then began walking again followed by Pansy and Amelia.

Amelia prayed that her three friends had left.

When they reached the table it was occupied only by Crabbe and Goyle (Amelia sighed in relief).

"I'm going to go now" said Amelia and quickly ran off, and then she took a U-turn and quickly joined her friends behind the shelf.

"Did I miss it?" she whisper-asked.

"No, he hasn't sat down yet; he's interrogating Crabbe and Goyle about me."

"What did you say to them?" asked Amelia

"I told them that I was searching for a recipe book and if they find it, I will give them a dozen muffins each" At this Hanna gave Amelia a look.

"Don't worry, we'll just get the muffins from the kitchens" Amelia assured.

"He's pulling his chair" said Susan urgently and the four stood with baited breaths.

"Wait, is that Pansy?" asked Mandy

"Are you kidding me?" said Susan in disbelief.

"Why is Pansy going to sit on Draco's chair?" asked Hanna to the heavens in disbelief.

And then came a loud 'Pooooooooooh' and the Library was silent for a moment. No one said or whispered anything.

And then the whole Library was filled with laughter. Students were pointing at Pansy and then laughing their hearts out.

"Pansy, are you alright?" asked Draco trying to control his laughter.

Pansy stood up and ran away from the Library crying and the four followed her out with grins on their faces.

"AWESOME" yelled Amelia as soon as they were out of hearing range of the Library.

"Um what was so awesome about that?" asked Susan.

"Yeah, we were supposed to prank Malfoy not Parkinson" said Hanna.

"No, we were supposed to prank a Slytherin" corrected Amelia.

"Okay then, High five" yelled Susan and the four jumped and clapped around in the corridor.

"Amelia?" came a voice timidly.

Amelia tuned around and found her twin, looking at her and the others with a scared expression. He was standing with Hermione who was looking as though she was worried about their sanity.

"We've been looking all over for you" said Hermione

"Hi?" Amelia said questioningly.

They weren't supposed to go in the Library anymore so why were they looking for her.

"This is serious, Amelia. We've got an idea to save Harry" said Hermione.

"Save Harry?" asked Susan listening in.

"Yeah, why do you have to save Harry?" this time it was Hanna who asked the question.

Hermione and Ron gave Amelia warning looks.

"C'mon guys, we could use some extra help" said Amelia pleading.

Then she turned to her friends and said "Snape's refereeing the Quidditch match and we think that he might hurt Harry and Hermione has an idea to save him."

"Why do you think that Snape might hurt Harry?" asked Mandy.

"Because he put the jinx on Harry's broom last time. We saw it, Mandy" said Amelia.

"Alright, I'll help but I don't think that it's Snape who's hurting Harry" said Hanna.

"Yeah, even I don't believe it" said Susan "It seems far fetched."

"But we'll help anyway. If it turns out that you're right then we'll be prepared and if not then that's good and dandy" said Mandy. The other two nodded.

"Alright then" said Hermione "We were thinking of practicing the Leg Locker Curse."

"Yeah, Snape does one wrong move and we'll bind his legs, which should take him by surprise" said Ron smugly.

"Okay then let's go" said Amelia and the six of them went off to practice with Mandy and Hermione being the teachers.

"Amelia" whispered Hermione, taking her away from the rest of them "You will not tell them about the Sorcerer's Stone, okay?"

"Okay" Amelia whispered back, already feeling guilty as she saw Susan put a leg locker curse on her brother.

-Line Break-

The six of them plus Neville were all sitting in the stand waiting for the match to start. They all wore grim faces and had their wands in their hands ready to attack Snape at a moment's notice.

"Now, don't forget, it's Locomotor Mortis," Hermione muttered.

"We know," Ron snapped. "Don't nag."

Susan and Amelia shared an amused look but didn't say anything.

"I've never seen Snape look so mean," he told Hermione. "Look — they're off. Ouch!"

They all turned to look at Ron when they saw Malfoy just behind him.

"Oh, sorry, Weasley, didn't see you there." Malfoy grinned broadly at Crabbe and Goyle.

Amelia breathed deeply and ignored him.

"Wonder how long Potter's going to stay on his broom this time? Anyone want a bet? What about you, Weasley?"

Ron and Amelia ignored him because Snape had awarded Hufflepuff with a penalty as George had hit a bludger at him.

Amelia had never been more proud of her brother.

"You know how I think they choose people for the Gryffindor team?" said Malfoy loudly a few minutes later, as Snape awarded Hufflepuff another penalty for no reason at all. "It's people they feel sorry for. See, there's Potter, who's got no parents, then there's the Weasleys, who've got no money — you should be on the team, Longbottom, you've got no brains."

Amelia ignored him and stared fixedly at Harry, much like Hermione was. Susan and Hanna were busy cheering for their house team and Mandy was staring at Snape.

"I'm worth twelve of you, Malfoy," Neville stammered.

Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle howled with laughter, but Ron said, "You tell him, Neville."

"Longbottom, if brains were gold you'd be poorer than Weasley, and that's saying something."

Amelia clenched her fists bust still stared fixedly at Harry, not daring to take her eyes away from him.

"I'm warning you, Malfoy-one more word-"

"Ron!" said Hermione suddenly, "Harry-"

"What? Where?"

Harry had suddenly gone into a spectacular dive, which drew gasps and cheers from the crowd. Hermione and Amelia stood up, as Harry streaked towards the ground like a bullet.

"You're in luck, Weasley, Potter's obviously spotted some money on the ground!" said Malfoy.

Ron snapped. Before Malfoy knew what was happening, Ron was on top of him, wrestling him to the ground. Neville hesitated, and then clambered over the back of his seat to help.

Up in the air, Snape turned on his broomstick just in time to see something scarlet shoot past him, missing him by inches — the next second, Harry had pulled out of the dive, his arm raised in triumph, the Snitch clasped in his hand.

"Ron! Ron! Where are you? The game's over! Harry's won! We've won! Gryffindor is in the lead!" shrieked Hermione, dancing up and down on her seat and hugging Parvati Patil in the row in front.

Amelia and Lavender were hugging each other and doing a victory dace while Mandy was laughing. Susan and Hanna weren't happy campers as the Gryffindors had just defeated their House.

The match had barely lasted five minutes and as Harry landed on the ground Amelia and the other Gryffindors went up to congratulate him including Ron whose nose was bleeding.

"Harry, you did it" shouted Amelia as she neared him.

"Yeah, I did" said Harry with a huge grin.

"You are alive" shouted Amelia again.

"I can't believe it" Harry shouted back and the two laughed and hugged.

Then Hermione and Ron came and cheered.

Harry went off with his teammates to take a shower and Hermione, Ron and Amelia decided to wait for him.

They had been waiting for a while and Ron was telling the girls how exactly he had given Malfoy a black eye when Harry appeared.

"Harry, where have you been?" Hermione squeaked.

"We won! You won! We won!" shouted Ron, thumping Harry on the back. "And I gave Malfoy a black eye, and Neville tried to take on Crabbe and Goyle single-handed! He's still out cold but Madam Pomfrey says he'll be all right — talk about showing Slytherin! Everyone's waiting for you in the common room, we're having a party, Fred and George stole some cakes and stuff from the kitchens."

"Never mind that now," said Harry breathlessly. "Let's find an empty room, you wait 'til you hear this…"

He made sure Peeves wasn't inside before shutting the door behind them, then he told them what he'd seen and heard.

He had gone into the Forbidden Forest when he saw Snape enter and he saw Snape threatening Quirell.

"So we were right, it is the Sorcerer's Stone, and Snape's trying to force Quirrell to help him get it. He asked if he knew how to get past Fluffy - and he said something about Quirrell's 'hocus pocus' - I reckon there are other things guarding the stone apart from Fluffy, loads of enchantments, probably, and Quirrell would have done some anti-Dark Arts spell that Snape needs to break through -"

"So you mean the Stone's only safe as long as Quirrell stands up to Snape?" said Hermione in alarm.

Amelia shared her worries.

"It'll be gone by next Tuesday," said Ron. Amelia couldn't agree more.

"C'mon let's go up and join the party. They will be wondering where Harry is" Amelia said and the four made their way to the common room.

When they entered the common room, a huge cheer went up and Harry was picked and carried on Fred and George's shoulders.

The party went on till late night but the first and second years were asked to leave the room at ten 'Or else McGonagall will have our heads' as Lee eloquently said.

"Amelia, may I talk to you for a moment" said Percy with a butterbeer in hand.

"Alright" the two went to a far corner, away from the music and Percy looked at her with a serious face.

When was the last time that I had seen him this serious? Thought Amelia. Oh, fifteen minutes ago, when he stopped Dean from trying to have Butterbeer.

"I saw you and your friends in the Library" said Percy.

"That's great" said Amelia dryly.

"I saw you pranking the Slytherins, Amelia" said Percy. "I didn't tell anyone about this because I've already landed you in an unfair detention. I'm warning you Amelia, one more time and I won't save you just because you're my sister."

"Can I have butterbeer?" said Amelia

"No. you cannot. Now, go to bed" said Percy not believing that Amelia hadn't taken him seriously for a second.

"Good night Percy" Amelia said and then went up the boys staircase where she found Harry alone. The rest of the boys must have been trying to sneak back into the party.

"Harry, can I have the invisibility cloak?" asked Amelia "I swear, I'll return it to you."

"Alright" said Harry not bothering to ask what scheme she was planning. He was busy thinking about Snape and Quirrel.

Amelia thanked him and went down the stairs, rejoining the party invisibly. She picked up two bottles of butterbeer and walked towards Percy who was talking to a pretty girl.

Now we can't have that, can we? thought Amelia giving an evil cackle in her head with two bottles of butterbeer in her hand.

I'm sure you can guess what happened next.

So what do you think?
