IT'S BLUE'S BIRTHDAY! YIPEE I'VE HAD SO MANY IDEAS ON HOW TO WRITE THIS! Meeeehh~ I'll see what comes through! ;D hope you like it! Sorry it's been a while as well... I wuz busy!

Sapphire's P.O.V.
Ugh, if there is one thing I hate more than wearing dresses without my shorts, it was wearing dresses to parties. I was in the mirror, adjusting this dark blue dress that had thin straps, showing off my slightly muscular arms.
It was freezing outside, why the Mew would I want to wear a dress then? It was also shorter than any other dress I had worn; the dress reached down to just bove my knees. I had some black flats on as well, flats being so much better than high heels and for Arceaus' sake, I'm only twelve (Ok, ok she is technically eleven but cmon, deal with me here)! My hazel brown hair was now in reverse; my bangs tied to the back and my ponytail let down.
Even Ruby's mom gave me something to wear! I don't even know the lady! I opened the small red box from her and saw two necklaces; a small torchic pendant and a "S" engraved with small blue stones. I smiled slightly that someone had the timeto get me this.
I was walking down the staircase when I heard the booming music from the living room. Green really did go overboard with the guest list; there so many other students that I didn't know,many from the high school and a few middle schoolers..
But I did know these four, the poke-geeks; Bridgette, Lanette, Bill and Celio. Bridgette had this long white dress with one of her arms bare while the over had this long sleeve. She also had black high heels which seemed to match her orange hair, which was in it's usual ruffled up position. Lanette wore a green ruffled dress which matched her braided hair- I mentally slapped myself for thinking like Ruby. But Bill and Celio had worn a simple white shirt and black pants.
I saw that there were no Butler's or Maid's and remembered that Gold had said he'd given them the day off.
I nodded a "Hi" to the quartet and headed to the living room. The living room was transformed into a small basement disco. The ear splitting music vibrated through me as I made my way through the crowed. There were balloons everywhere, on the ceiling, on the floor, you name it. There was a huge banner above the music stand that read: Happy 16th Birthday Blue!
I saw Yellow and rushed over to her, relieved to see a familiar face. She had a dainty sundress with pokeballs decorated as polkadots. She also had black flats and her hair was let loose, reaching to her calves.
"Hey!" I had to shout to be able to be heard.
"Hey yourself! Have you seen Blue; I have to give him his present." She shouted back. I shrugged but grabbed her hand as we made our way through the crowd. We found Blue surrounded byfangirls bombarding him with cards and presents. He thanked them with a forced smile and went to the back to put them away.
"Wait Blue! There's two more!" I called out, waving my present in the air frantically. He looked back and I saw what seemed to be a smile.
"Thanks, Yellow and Sapphire." He placed the presents down and took ours, putting them in a different pile.
Daisy came up to us from behind, "Happy birthday little bro!" She was wearing a purple dress with ruffless down the side and had black heels, making herself even taller than she already was.
Blue glanced down at the heels then back at Daisy, smirking, "Comfortable in that?"
She laughed and shook her head. We walked abck to where the party was and I saw that Daisy had her mouth hung open. We followed her gaze to the entrance and saw Green. She had a single strapped aquamarine dress that ended mid thigh and had a silver belt arround her waist. She had black knee-high boots and she stood as tall as Blue.
"Hey guys!" She grinned when she saw us. I could also see a smirk forming on her face as all the guys around us gawped at her. Even Blue was having trouble looking at Green.
"Happy birthday Blue! Welcome to the Sixteen-year-old-club!" She grinned and winked. When Blue was forced to look at her, his eyes were wide open to try and not gawp at her.
As he went back to the back, Green looked over her shoulder and winked at two juniors staring at her. They turned red and quickly had a dreamy look, she laughed and walk to the foyer. Daisy waved and went to join Bridgette and Lanette. Yellow had excused heself too and was now in the kitchen.
I was leaning against a wall with a bored expression. I saw Platina enter. She was wearing a pink dress with pixie boots. Her eyes wandered around the living room untili it found me and she broke into a smile.
"Sapphire-chan! You look very nice tonight." She bowed. I grinned at her.
"Yeah, y'uh don't look so bad yourself!" She blushed slightly and we both decided to get drinks. There was a large punch bowl filled with a pink liquid in the kitchen with stacks of red paper cups around it. I took a sip from my cup; it tasted like a pecha berry but it also hadd this distinct bitter taste that was both revolting and addicting.
"There's alcohol in this." Platinum said firmly.
My eyes widened, Papa would get mad if he found out I had alcohol! Around the back of the kitchen, I saw Gold put a small silver flask in his jacket. I ran up to him and caught him by the scruff, jerking him around roughly. "You put alcohol in the drinks? Gold, you're crazy!" I yelled. Some people looked our way but most couldn't hear us.
Gold looked panicked and raised his arms for me to let him go, which I did reluctantly. "Shut up Sapph, Green might hear us!" I raised my eyebrows at him. Why on earth would he want people drunk? Green had put real effort to plan this party.
"Wow, look at Crys!" Yellow pointed and gestured for us to follow. Cry looked healthy and it had seemed like she never had her cold in the first place!
She came over to us and was blushing, rubbing her arms and mumbling something about her mom picking it out. Gold looked totally surprised and didn't say anything as Yellow and Platinum complimented her.
Her hair was let down and she had a few hair clips stuck. She had a light blue dress with a dark blue sash around her waist. Her shoes were these platform boots that had fake fur.
"It's great you're better, Crystal." Gold finally managed to say. Crys looked at him as if she hadn't seen him there and smiled.
Ruby's P.O.V
"Ruby-kun!"
"Ruby-kun, oh you look so handsome!" Azurtie squealed, clinging on to my shoulder. I didn't see what was so amazing -apart from the fact that it is me- since I just had a plain white shirt with charcoal pants and jakcet. I also had my hat off.
Oh yeah, Gold blackmailed me to take of the hat. But I had a bandage around my forehead to cover up my scar. It was bad enough that Sapphire had seen it, but now almost the entire school body has seen my "real" hair. Many people came up to me with questions on "why my hair was black".
"Ruby, do want me to get you anything?" cooed Azurite. I looked at her and nodded, saying something about wanting a drink. The fangirls bombarded the kitchen as they tried to get me some of Green's punch.
I sighed at the sudden freshness of air I had. Seeing Sapphire accross the room, I mouth "help me". She smirked and nodded, dissapearing. I looked around for but felt a sudden jerk from behind as I was dragged off by my scruff.
"Sapph, Sapph! You're choking me!" I squeaked, flailing. She loosened her grip and I saw that we were at the foyer. She let go of my collar and grabbed my arm, looking around her and over her shoulder, she shoved me behind the stairs. She pressed her index finger to her lips and walked away.
"Hey, you! Mankey girl!" Azurite shouted as she came here. I got shivers and shrunk even more. I could hear Amber and Turquoise sniggering.
"What do you want Azurite?" Sapph groaned and I could feel her rolling her eyes. I risked a peek from the stairs and hid behind one of the pillars. I saw the unholy trinity walk up to Sapphire in what seemed to be in a threatening way but Sapphire stood defiantly.
Azurite's expresson was like my Nana when her fur got messed up: ready to kill. Sapphire just had a bored look and she crossed her arms over he chest.
"Where's Ruby?" Azurite said as she took a step toward Sapphire. The younger girl took a step back and shrugged. "Don't play stupid, mankey girl, I know you know."
Sapphire scoffed, "How and why would I know where Ruby is now? He's probably hiding from you freaks." I had to hold in a chuckle and I could see Sapph wink at me.
"You don't seem to irk him."
"So!" Sapphire laughed, raising her arms up, "Neither do any of the non-fangirls! He and I are just housemates." Azurite took two long strides and was now centimetres from Sapph's face. I could see a bead of sweat roll down as she stared Azurite down.
"Is little miss mankey developing feelings for Ruby?" Azurite whispered loudly. I could see Sapph stiffen but her face was unreadable. "Because if she is, I will kill her, myself." Azurite backed away and walked to the living room, flouncing her hair as her two sidekicks followed in pursuit...
Sapphire let out a shaky breath and looked to where I was, grinning. "They're gone for now at least!"
I grinned at her, she was truely something else. I noticed sparkle and caught her wrist. She looked at me in surprise. "What?"
"Where did you get that necklace?"
Sapphire looked confused. "The wha- oh these?" She lifted the torchic pendant and the engraved "S", they were both tangled together. "I got them from your mom... why? I thought you were the on who asked her to give them to me."
Now it was my turn to be surprised, "I never told my mom about Blue's party." Sapphire looked overly confused. She blinked and cringed from over thinking. I told her not to wory about it and walked away with a determined expresson.
Mom has a lot to explain about herself.
