Yasha's Pov~
"keep her safe or it will be your head. " I warned Shippo.
He shivered and nodded. "Hai Yasha I understand but I'm not an idiot. " I crossed my arms. "Sometimes you are Shippo. " I used my wit.
Reader's Pov ~
Inuyasha Thinks he has a lot of wit. Shippo shut the door and locked the door. "Ugh he is such an idiot. He thinks he will get something. " Shippo slapped his head. He went to check on Kagome to see if she was safe. Shippo slipped into his fox form and padded into her room. "No not the girl take me instead. " Kagome whispered.
-She's having a nightmare , I'll lay there next to her so she knows she is safe. - Shippo thought tiredly And first went to set up wires and alarms. Then Shippo jumped up by Kagome and fell asleep. She moved softly but kept sleeping. He fell asleep quickly.
-awhile later-
Kagome woke up and looked at the little fluff ball next to her. She smiled and scratched his ears. He made a purr like noise. "A little to the left please. " He said in his sleep. Kagome giggled softly and scratched as he asked. He purred even more. She got up slowly and got a small throw. She laid it over Shippo. "Good nightShippo you silly little demon. " She whispered as she tossed up a spell so she could walk around. She was going to check the alarms.
The alarm that went off was because of her cat. She shook her head and picked her up. "Shinta you silly cat. " she laid her on the bed and laid back down to fall asleep.
