DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN OURAN HIGHSCHOOL HOST CLUB. Hey guys, thanks for the reviews! I love to hear what you guys think…..but I think I told you that like 100 times already. My face is so numb since I just came back from the dentist and its bothering me so much. I hate not being able to feel my face.
"Have you found her yet?" Asked Haruhi as she walked along the road, cuddling deeper into her thin coat.
"No, not yet." Sighed Hikaru
"Can you look faster? I'm freezing out here even with layers of cloths on plus a coat. Faith has a short sleeve shirt on and shorts. She could seriously freeze to death if we don't find her quick." Haruhi panicked.
"…..You're walking?" Hikaru asked raising a brow.
"You're not?" Haruhi asked in the same suspicious tone.
"Why would we? We cover more ground in a limo anyway." The twins stated together. Haruhi stood there in annoyance, thinking of them all warm and cozy in a limo.
"Its 4 in the morning, you can't really expect us to walk." The twins said again.
"Just hurry up!" Haruhi said as she hung up the phone. She waddled along the road once again, cluching the cell phone tightly in her hands.
'Damn rich people'
(2 hours later)
"We've been searching for her for about 6 hours and still haven't found anything." Hikaru said to his brother.
"With everyone looking for her, you would have thought that we would have found something by now." Kaoru agreed. They went on in silence for 4 miles before Hikaru spotted something in the corner of his eyes.
"Driver, pull over wont you?" He asked. The brothers opened the door and ran out. The cold hit them instantly.
"Gahhh! H-H-Hikaru, what d-d-did you s-see?" Kaoru shivered.
"T-this." Hikaru said, picking up a blue ribbon that got caught on a shrub.
"W-what is it?" Kaoru asked, still shivering.
"This i-is F-F-F-Faiths." Hikaru stuttered. "I remember it from this morning.
"T-then that means she m-must be close." Kaoru agreed. "We'll have to search on foot now or we might miss her." The twins both groaned at the idea.
"C-come on." Kaoru waved the limo driver to stay behind them. They wondered through a field of tall grass.
"Jeez, I d-ding know grass could grow this tall! It's up above our waists." Hikaru complained as he fought his way through the grass.
"That's because this is a wheat." Kaoru stated. The brothers wondered along a while longer before Hikaru spoke again.
"Does this field ever end!" Hikaru yelled as he stuggled to walk through. Suddeny he tripped and fell into the pile of wheat.
"Hikaru!" Kaoru yelled as he lurched forward to help his brother.
"Oww, what the-?" Hikaru asked, rubbing his head as he looked down to see what he tripped over. Faith was curled up in a tight ball.
(Mercy)
Mercy dragged herself across the side walk, she willed herself not to fall asleep. Her eyes got harder to open every time she blinked, even the freezing cold air want enough to keep her up. Mercy looked around desperately as she continued her search for Faith.
'Faith, I hope you're not dead so I can kill you myself.' Mercy thought as she held onto the hope that Faith was fine.
Mercy could barely stand as she tripped for the tenth time. Where was she anyway? Mercy continued along the road as she started to drift. She was officially exhausted, even at night when Faith and Mercy where going to sleep she only got about 3-4 hours of sleep total because of their terrible mattress. Mercy started to feel tingly as she tried to take another step, like the first day sleeping in their house, she knew she wouldn't make it.
(Faith and the twins)
"Faith? What are you doing here?" They asked as they pulled her up.
"N-n-n-no, l-l-let me go." Faith stuttered as the cold wind froze her further.
"Come on." They said as they dragged her to the limo. They pulled out a blanket from the back seat as they draped it over her. Kaoru got in first as he led Faith in with Hikaru following behind. After a long awkward silence it was Kaoru's turn to talk.
"Why were you cuddled up in a wheat field?" He asked. Faith remained silent until the twins eager stares shook her down.
"I-I-it was cold, and the wheat protected me from the wind." Faith whispered.
"Ahh, I see. Pretty smart actually." Kaoru said thoughtfully. Faith just tucked herself deeper into the blanket.
"Are you okay?" They asked sincerely.
"Not really, when I jumped out the window into the bushes, the branches practically impaled my legs." Faith admitted meekly.
"You jumped out a window?" They twins asked in shock.
"Y-y-yes, and It really hurt." Faith complained, the twins gave her strange looks.
"Why did you do that exactly?" They asked with blank faces as they imagined her throwing herself out a window.
"B-because Haruhi abducted me! Which reminds me…Are you going to let me go or do I need to jump out the car to." Faith asked, completely serious. The twins shot their arms around her, in an attempt to keep her from doing anything rash.
"No no, there's no need for that." Kaoru said nervously.
"We'll take you home, don't worry." Hikaru said, just as nervous. Faith looked at them suspiciously for a second before sighing.
"What happened, honestly? The last thing I remember is falling down in the girl's bathroom, and then suddenly I wake up in Haruhi's room? I really don't think that Haruhi kidnapped me, it just doesn't feel right. Not to mention she looked just as freaked out as I did." Faith let out a small giggle as she remembered Haruhi expression when she saw Faith holding up that frying pan. The movie 'Tangled' was right, they do make amazing weapons.
"You couldn't think of that before you made us get up at 3am to look for you?" Hikaru complained.
"In my defense I woke up with a killer head ache, only to find myself in an unknown area with Haruhi and a cross dresser. I think anyone would have been a little psychotic." Faith defended.
"What happened though? I mean with the teacher and every-" Hikaru was cut off by his brother.
"I think we can talk about everything later, right now let's drop you off back to your house."Kaoru said politely.
"M-my house?" Faith asked nervously.
"Ya, tell us where it is so we can drop you off."
"Ahhh, t-take a right." Faith lied. With all the bad things that happened recently she wouldn't, she couldn't let the twins know what a dump they lived in. Instead she was going lead them somewhere mildly close and walk the rest of the way.
"Your stuttering again, are you cold?" Kaoru said, reaching for another blanket as his brother stared at him.
"N-no I-I-I'm….I mean, no I'm fine." Faith calmed herself. The twins gave her looks o suspicion but let it slide.
"Take a left." Faith said, giving them random directions.
"Do you want to call Mercy now and tell her you're on your way?" Asked the twins. Faith twitched, they didn't have a phone, but she wasn't going to tell them that either.
"Ummm, No. she'll be mad enough when I get home, I'm too tired to deal with her now." That wasn't a total lie, Mercy was probably going kill Faith when she got home. The twins nodded their heads.
"Go straight here." Faith started to feel bad about making them go on a wild goose chase, but there was no way that she would let them know where she lived. She would never hear the end of it. After the longest straight road on earth Kaoru saw something from the corner of his eyes.
"Stop." He told the limo driver again, as he got out of the car followed by Hikaru.
"Oh great." Hikaru mumbled as he saw Mercy their completely unconscious.
"She must have been looking for her." Kaoru sighed. "Hey Faith, guess whose come to see you?" After no reply they asked again.
"Faith?" They turned around to see Faith fast asleep. The brothers stared at each other in silence as the same thought crossed their minds.
'Crap, what do we do now?'
After carrying Mercy into the limo, they twins glared at the two innocently sleeping girls.
"What are we suppose to do? We don't know where they live so we can't drop them off." Sighed Hikaru.
"I'd feel wrong about waking them up just to ask them. They look so peaceful that I just can't bring myself to wake them." Kaoru added. The twins glared some more.
"You don't think that Haruhi would let them stay with her again do you?" The twins look at each other, there was no way.
"What are we suppose to do with them?" Hikaru asked.
"I don't know, we can't just leave them in the middle of nowhere." Kaoru replied. Blank emotionless masks crossed there face as they realized what they needed to do.
