Alright, Chapter 10 of Luna's Foal. And this is a chapter that many of you have been wanting to see.

A deal's a deal. You guys gave reviews for my Shadow Storm story, so here's chapter 10. Enjoy

-Pipsqueak's school-

It was around recess time and Pip and his friend Solar Ray were at the bench talking.

"So Pip, do anything interesting lately?" Ray asked his royal friend.

"Not really. I was just sick a few days ago" he told him.

"Hm. That doesn't sound good. You Ok?" Ray asked him.

"Yeah, my mom and cousin helped take care of me" Pip said. At that moment the school bell rang to send the students back to class.

"I really hope the rest of the school day will be easy" Ray said as the two of them headed back to class.

-Canterlot castle-

"So you're really going to do this?" Celestia asked her younger sister.

"I'm certain, sister. He needs answers" she said. In time after Pip was sick, Luna had told Celestia about Pip's memory.

"Well, you are his mother. I'm sure you know what's best for-"

"Shh! Here he comes" Luna said, cutting her sister of mid sentence, seeing her adoptive foal walk through the halls. "Hi sweetie pie, how was school?" she asked him with a smile.

"It was alright I guess. I have some homework that I've got to do" He told his mother.

"You can do it once we get to our destination" She said to him.

"Destination? Where?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. The two princesses smiled at each other.

-The Crystal Empire-

Luna and Pip were flying to the crystal empire in a chariot. She had chosen to ride in the golden chariot that her sister normally rode in. Sure she could've ridden in her own chariot (which was pretty hardcore to say the least), but that wasn't exactly safe for her son considering it had spikes and blades on it and he could probably hurt himself trying to get in. Being the mother that she was, she took the safer route for her child.

"So why are we going to the Crystal Empire again?" Pip asked.

"So you can meet the rest of your family" Luna told him.

"And by 'the rest', you mean Shining Armor?" he asked.

"Yes, but I also want a chance for you to get to know Cadence better" she told him. Eventually they had made it to the crystal empire. As the name suggested, the whole empire was made entirely of crystal. Even the ponies were made of crystal. Pip had heard stories of this place from both his mom and Twilight, but this was the first time he ever got to see the empire in person. Once the chariot landed they immediately went into the castle.

"Wow, this is amazing!" Pip said as he and his mother walked into the throne room where they were met with Princess Cadence and Shining Armor.

"Hello Cadence" Luna greeted her niece.

"Hello Princess Luna" Cadence greeted her aunt as they walked up to each other. "Hey Pip, you're feeling better I see" she said to her young cousin.

"Yeah, thanks to you... and mom" he said with light smile. Cadence playfully rubbed his head with her hoof.

"Speak of which, Cadence, can I talk to you in private?" Luna asked.

"Uh, sure" she said in agreement. The two princesses walked to the balcony, far enough so that the young prince wouldn't hear them talk. "So what did you want to talk to me about?" Cadence asked.

"It's about Pipsqueak" Luna said. "He had a dream about his birth mom" she told her.

"Ok, I think I know what you're going to do" Cadence said. Luna gave a silent nod.

"Do you think you can watch him while take care of what I need to do?" she asked Cadence.

"Sure. I used to foalsit Twilight, so watching Pip shouldn't be too hard" Cadence said with a confident smirk.

"I hope you're right" Luna said as she and Cadence began walking back to the young foal. "Pip, honey, I need you to stay with your cousin Cadence and for awhile, Ok?" Luna told her son.

"Why?" he asked.

"Well, mommy has something she has to do. Can you be good for Cadence while I'm gone?" she asked and Pip gave her a nod. "Good" she said, and then kissed him on the forehead. "See you when I get back" she told him as she walked to the balcony once more. Pip followed. Luna then jumped from the railing and glided down to her chariot. She looked up at her son and gave him a wink before going off in her chariot. Once she was gone though, Pip a look of slight sadness upon his face. He then felt the touch of a gentle hoof upon his back, turning his head to see Princess Cadence beside him.

"Don't worry, Pip. You and I are going to have loads of fun today. Where do you want to go?" Cadence asked her young cousin. He thought for moment.

"Well, I wouldn't mind going to see Shining Armor" Pip told her.

"I suppose meeting him would be best. Your mother did say you should meet the rest of the family, my husband included" Cadence said, smiling.

-With Shining Armor-

The white unicorn known as Shining Armor was at the track of the Crystal Empire, watching athletic ponies run. Not only was he Cadence's husband and prince of the crystal empire, but he was also the captain of the Canterlot royal guards, and apparently he was also a coach.

"Hey dear" a voice greeted him from behind. He looked to see it was his wife.

"Oh, hey Cadence" he greeted his wife with a nuzzle. "Who's the foal?" he asked, noticing a tiny colt by her side.

"Shining, this is Pipsqueak, our cousin" she told him.

"Oh, so you're Luna's kid. Yeah, Luna told us all about you" he said to the young foal.

"Really? Like what?" Pip asked with a curious tone.

"How you're a curious little guy and that you're full of spirit, stuff like that" Shining told him. Pip smiled lightly. "Hey, you're an earth pony, right?" Shining asked and Pip replied with a nod. "Wanna see how fast you can run?" he asked.

"Um, sure" Pip agreed.

"Shining, isn't that a little risky? I mean, he's only a colt" Cadence said with a look of concern.

"Relax Cadence, it's only one lap" he told her with reassurance.

"Ok, as long as he doesn't get hurt" she said. Shining Armor then told his runners to head home as they were done training for the day. This gave Pip a chance to get on the track.

"Alright Pip, show me what you've got" Shining said. "Go!" he shouted, starting the timer. Pip then began to run across the track. Being an earth pony, running came naturally to Pip, and despite his young age, he had quite the endurance. He picked up the pace and ran faster. A few minutes later he was halfway around the track.

"Wow, the little guy is quite the runner" Cadence said.

"Well he is an earth pony" Shining told her.

"True" she said, not being able to argue with the logic. They watched as the young colt almost make it full circle. However, at the last few seconds, he tripped. He would've hit ground were it not for Shining Armor saving him at the last second. Cadence gave her husband a glare.

"Uh... maybe we should stop" Shining said, nervously rubbing the back of his head. He set Pip down in front of them. "So what do you want to do now, Pip?" he asked the young colt.

"Well I wouldn't mind getting something to eat" he told them.

"Alright, you can eat while you do your homework" Cadence said to him.

-The Crystal Castle-

"Pip is a nice colt, isn't he?" Cadence asked Shining as they watched Pip eat an apple while doing his homework.

"Yeah, he's definitely Luna's son" Shining said. Pip walked up to them and showed Cadence his work. She checked it to see if the answers were right. The answers were right and she nodded, agreeing that Pip was done. He had also finished his apple, throwing it away in the trash.

"So cousin Cadence, now that I've finished both my snack and my homework, what should we do now?" Pip asked her.

"Well unless you want to see the crystal heart, there's not much to see. And for the record, you can just call me Cadence" she told him with a smile.

"I guess the crystal heart would be cool to see" he said.

-The crystal heart-

They had arrived at the crystal heart. Cadence then lit the heart with her magic and made it use its crystal power. This made herself, Shining Armor, and Pip crystalized.

"Whoa! This is awesome!" Pip said in an amazed tone. Not only was his body crystalized, but so was his mane and tail.

"Well, I'm glad you had fun today, Pip" Cadence said to him. "And it looks like your mom's here" she said, looking up at the sky. They saw Luna's chariot (the safe one) descend upon the kingdom.

"Mom!" Pip said with joy, running up to her.

"Pipsqueak, my dear colt!" Luna said with equal joy as she embraced her son in a hug. "Did you have fun with Cadence and Shining armor?" she asked.

"I sure did" he replied.

"Did you finish doing what you had to do?" Cadence asked her aunt.

"I did" Luna replied with a wink. Cadence winked back.

"What are you talking about?" Pip asked.

"Uh... nothing, sweetie. For now it's time for us to head home" Luna said to him. Pip nodded as crystal form wore off. "So long you two" she bid her relatives farewell as she and Pip head back to Canterlot.

"Shining. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Cadence asked him.

"That Pipsqueak has great potential within him?" he guessed.

"Yeah... he sure does" she said, smiling as they watched the chariot fly off into the distance.
