A/N: This is really short and I sort of just whipped this up but I hope you like it anyway haha

I still don't own anything

The pillow fort was Milagro's idea.

It was the only way to keep her quiet about Bart staying over the weekend while their parents were out. And since Jaime wasn't in any position to barter with the power crazed seven year old, they ended up buying six bags of her favorite candy, watching My Little Pony episodes on repeat for three hours, and all had matching neon-green finger nails before she crashed on the couch, placed strategically as the back wall of their pillow fort.

But by that time it was well past midnight, and there were bags under Jaime's eyes from trying to appease the child. Bart was holding the flashlight and spinning it around, looking at the old worn blankets used to craft the palace of pillows. Jaime smiled at him wearily.

"Sorry about that, carino," Jaime apologized. "Should've sent her to Kate's house before you came over."

Bart shrugged. "That's okay, Blue. Bad timing is all."

Jaime leaned over and kissed Bart's lips softly. He tasted of sugar, chicken whizzes, and all the things Milagro liked. Bart hummed happily and pulled the older boy into his lap to deepen the kiss.

"'Sides," the speedster broke away after moment. "I rock the green."

Jaime laughed and took Bart's hands to examine the messy painting. He kissed the speedsters knuckles. "Very much so, amor."

Bart giggled and Milagro stirred on the couch. Jaime hushed him and they froze until Milagro stopped moving. Jaime gave a soft sigh of relief.

"Dios mio, I don't want to deal with her again tonight," Jaime whispered.

Bart smiled and brought their faces together again. "We'll just have to be really, really quiet then…"

Their lips met again and Jaime didn't think that was going to be a problem at all.
