Chapter 10: Happiness is simple

Author's Note : So...How are you guys? Sorry for the long hiatus on this new chapter. I was stuck and didn't know what should i write next. I was considering this chapter as the last chapter. Well, everything have an end eventually, do you think it's a right time?

What happened last chapter...
There're a lot of trouble ahead of them, and he knew it, but he's sure he could face it together with Kamui as long as their hearts were still together. For now, he just wanted to enjoy the happiness with Kamui.
"Good morning!" Kamui entered the dining room with a happy mood floating in the air. Everyone who looked at him will know that he was in his best mood and spirit.
"Good morning, Kamui." Both Fuuma and his father greeted back. His father was like usual, reading his newspaper in the morning while waiting for Fuuma to prepared the breakfast. As for Fuuma, he looked a little bit depressed and sad.
"Chichi-ue, Nii-chan~ I'm going on a date with Subaru-kun later, so...i'm gonna be late, it's okay right?" You could see the flowers floating around him.
"Sure. Just make sure you go back home before 10, okay?" His father said.
"What?! Dad! Isn't it too late?" Fuuma turned to Kamui, "You have to come back on 8, Kamui." He said, putting the breakfast on the table.
"Eehh? But the student council ends at 6~ We won't have time to watch any movie like that. Furthermore, it's Friday, Nii-chaaannn..." He pouted.
"Let him go, Fuuma. He's not a child anymore. Beside, Sumeragi-kun would protect him well." With that, Fuuma couldn't do anything but obey.
As soon as Kamui finished his breakfast, he quickly clean his dishes and run to the door. "I'm going!"
"Ah, Kamui! Wa~" Before he finished his sentence, Fuuma could hear the happy tone in Kamui's greeting for Subaru outside their door. "Tsk. I'm going too, dad."
"..." His father finally turned his head to his older son, "Don't make things difficult for them. It's rare to meet a youngster like Sumeragi-kun who like Kamui the way he is."
"..." Fuuma paused for a while, looking at his father with some mixed feeling. He knew the species like Subaru is indeed rare, but it's Kamui they're talking about. He just didn't ready to let Kamui go just yet. Since he was toodler, it's Fuuma who took care of him. Maybe rather that his father, it's Fuuma who felt like he's going to let his daughter married some stranger. (LOL~) Later on, he went to school with mixed feeling and sour mood.
It was 6.30 pm when our favorite couple arrived at the cinema. They're looking around to see what kind of movies were available. After a while, Subaru decided to go with what Kamui wanted to watch.
"Which movie do you want to watch, Kamui-kun?"
"Umm.. I dunno. Uh.. I want to watch Hotel Transylvania, Sorata-kun said it was funny. But i also want to watch Ted. It looked interesting to me. What do you think, Subaru-kun?"
Subaru surprised when he heard that Kamui was mentioning Ted for his watch list. He stared back and forth between Kamui and the movie board. After a while, he finally replied his lover, "Let's go for Hotel Transylvania?"
"Why? Won't you be bored with animation movie?" He tilted his head so he looked even cuter for Subaru to handle.
"Uh..Well..Ted was obviously not good for your eyes and mind. Don't you say that Sorata told you this film is good and funny? Don't you want to check it out yourself?" He basically didn't want to watch anything to bring any akward moment with Kamui.
"Well...I do..So, let's watch it?" He looked brighter when he said it.
"Sure."
With that they spend their official first date with animation movie and some cakes later on before Subaru decided to take Kamui home.
What greeted them was familiar enough to make Subaru felt like deja vu. He could see Fuuma was waiting outside the house, while checking his watch frequently even from far away. He smiled a little, knowing that the big brother openly showing that he still didn't approve of their relationship, neither did he trust Subaru. A little tug from his lover brought him back from his thought.
"Ne, Subaru-kun." He waited until his taller lover looked at him, "kiss me."
"Wha-" he was taken aback once again.
"Pleasee..? We can't kiss in front of nii-chan, no?" He partically begged his lover to kiss him.
Slowly but steadily, Subaru shortened their distance, and captured those pink little lips into his. He could see how Kamui slowly closed his eyes and enjoyed his passionate time with Subaru. Soon after he felt Subaru's lips on his, Kamui tugged his lover's sleeve a bit harder so their lips pressed harder. Subaru got the signal to deepen their last kiss before he has to end their first date that night.
Finally the urge to breathe came up and they're forced to part before both of them fainted from lack of air. It was their last sweet moment together for the day. Without any words, they linked their hands together and walked to Kamui's house. Both with some tint of red shade in their face.
"Tadaima." Kamui said once he's in front of his house.
"Okaeri." He greeted Kamui back then looked to Subaru with a frown in his face, "...good evening, Sumeragi-san."
"..Good evening, Monou-san." He smiled a little to show his respect for the older brother of his lover.
"..." He looked into their linked fingers, "looks like you have good time this evening. Unfortunately, it ends here." He smirked a little and pulled Kamui to his side before saying goodbye to Subaru.
"See you tomorrow, Subaru-kun." Kamui gave him the sweetest smile before he entered the house.
"Good night, Kamui-kun. See you tomorrow." He smiled back, waiting for his lover to enter the house before he left for his house.
Once he arrived, his twin sister glomped on him and begging him to tell her the date. Well, it's not like her sister was that oblivious and naive about his relationship with Kamui. Practically she knew everything about it, deep down into Subaru's love life problem.
"So, Su-chan! How did it go?" She beamed, demanding complete story about the date. And of course, Subaru didn't have the problem to lie to his sister. Since she would always get the updates from who knows who.
After he finished his story, his siter asked once more, "So, does his brother still act like you're some pervert?"
"What the? Does he look at me that way?" Subaru looked hurt.
"Well...Actually he sees you as a dangerous person who will take away his innocent brother from him, right?"
"Uh..Well, that's because i broke the promise i made with him." He looked defeated.
"WHAAT?! No, listen, Su-chan! You didn't break any promise. Yes sure you date his brother, but don't you protect him from any harm and pervert who has bad intention toward the little boy? It was no one fault that he ends up falling for you and you guys got into relationship, wasn't it? You also protect his innocence until now right?" He stated the truth, unable to accept how Fuuma treated his precious twin brother.
"Well.. That's true, but..."
"Well! I know!" She looked like she got her best idea that you could see stars in her bright eyes, "Just set him up with someone else so he will be busy to even bother you and the little boy! Hohoho! It would work just fine!"
He sweat-dropped at her action and words, but deep down he reconsidered her words into his heart (but soon be forgotten).
(Let's move into the sweet moments between Subaru and Kamui for now..mwehehe.. I love sweet romantic things..LOL)
It's been a year since they became a couple, and Subaru still kept his promise about protecting Kamui's innocence. They're still being a lovey-dovey since they got the permission from Kamui's father. It's not long after that, the whole school knew about their relationship. It made the whole population went beserk and broken-hearted. Most boys were crying to the fact that their pretty prince(ss), Kamui, was going out with the student council president that they respected, and the girls mostly crying for their gentle prince, Subaru. No one dared to go and tried to seperate the couple though, since they're afraid of Fuuma (they thought Fuuma accepted the relationship already, LOL). Soon, they became the school's favorite couple.
It's not long before the graduation came, and Kamui had to say goodbye to his lover for a year (well, since Subaru aren't going to the same school as Kamui anymore, right?). They had been feeling unsettled, knowing that soon they wouldn't be able to meet at the school ground anymore.
"In a week you will graduate from this school, Subaru-kun, and i will miss our time together." Kamui sighed while looking at the white fluffy cloud.
"Well...Time goes really fast, huh? I will miss you too, Kamui-kun." He said as he held his lover on the shoulder.
Kamui looked into his lover's eyes, then put his head on Subaru's shoulder. He sighed again, "School won't be as fun as now, with you, nii-chan, and Arashi-san gone."
"...yeah. I know. But we can still go on dates outside our schedule, right?" He patted Kamui's head, as if he wanted to calmed his lover down. He knew Kamui had been feeling down about their 'separation'. He also had his own problem, like what if there're people who wanted to steal Kamui's heart away, or maybe had some bad intention towards Kamui.
"Hn." He just grunted on his lover's statement, and hugged his lover tightly.
The graduation day...
It was filled with laugh and tears, specially for Kamui. It was the day he had to let his lover graduated. Sorata cried too, since Arashi was graduated too. Some girls actually dared to go to Subaru and asked for his buttons. Some girls gave him flowers, and some girls asked him to take some photos with them. Kamui was going to scold them before they all turned to him and asked for his permission (with teary puppy-eyes). Kamui didn't find the heart to turn the girls' plea down and just let them took some photos with Subaru.
Soon after the graduation ceremony was finished, Arashi, Sorata, Yuzuriha, Keiichi, Subaru, Fuuma, and Kamui went to Kamui's house to celebrate. They invited Hokuto too, and the party went crazy thanks to her and Sorata.
In the end of the party, Kamui went and asked Subaru (in private) about why they hadn't take their relationship into next step. He succesfully made Subaru choked and went all red.
"W-w-wha...Who give you the idea of..." He stopped half-way and looked around only to caught his twin sister grinning at him like she knew it all (well~ she did know since it was her who asked Kamui about his sexual experiences with Subaru at first).
"Hokuto-chan!" He stomped towards Hokuto, still with his red face.
"Heheh. Yesh, Su-chan?" She teased him.
"What d-did you t-tell Kamui-kun?!"
"Well, i just want to know your progress and it seemed you guys haven't have se-", Subaru clamped her mouth before the others could heard them. But it's too late. Sorata heard them and made a ruckuss about it. Subaru tried to calm them down, felt totally embarrassed in the pressence of Kamui's father and Fuuma. But Kamui involvement in the conversation just made it worse.
"Right, right? I also wanted to know why we haven't have-"
"Kamui-kuunn..!" Subaru cried his heart out.
"Huh, why?" Kamui tilted his head.
"Uhh..It's not appropriate to talk about this m-matter here." The red shade on Subaru's face went a shade darker if it still possible. Soon he grabbed Kamui by his hand and guided him so they could have private conversation.
"Well. I just want to wait for the best and special moment. I don't want it to be a rush decision, and i don't want you to regret it." He pushed himself to say all of it.
"Huh? When is the best moment to do it? Why would i regret doing it with you, Subaru-kun?"
"Uuhh..." He had to think fast, "When we're adult, maybe? At least when we're matured enough to think it over. I just...I just don't want you to feel like i used you or something?"
"...i see..." Kamui looked like he thought it over seriously. After a while, he looked at his lover and smile, "thanks Subaru-kun. Hehe... I love you." And wih that he hugged Subaru with all his heart. He felt so secure after knowing that Subaru thought about him and their relationship so seriously.
On the other room, all ears were connected into the wall that seperated them with the couple. It seemed they all wanted to know what they're saying. The went silent after they heard no sound of conversation at all. Deep down, Kamui's father looked satisfied and happy that Subaru kept his promise to this day. It seemed he did the right judgement on Subaru.
3 years and some months later...
It was Kamui's 21th birthday and it meant both of them reached their legal age. Kamui was moved out with Subaru 2 years ago, but still...Subaru kept his promise not to touch Kamui's innocence before the time arrived. They did make out and snuggle a lot, but Subaru kept the line strictly.
This day was the big day for both Kamui and Subaru. Subaru prepared a simple dinner for both of them, while waiting for Kamui to come home from the party his friend thrown for him.
"Tadaima~!" Kamui said once he stepped into the apartment they're sharing.
"Okaeri, Kamui-kun. How's the party going?" Subaru greeted his lover, made sure to show his head from the dining room.
"It's fun. Sorata-kun is being hyper like usual." He smiled and planted a kiss on Subaru's cheek.
"I see. Are you hungry? The dinner is ready."
"Yeah," He entered the dining room only to see a simple romantic dinner was set prettily on the table, "Whoaa...So pretty.."
"Happy birthday, Kamui-kun." He kissed him on the lips.
"Thanks."
After the nice and delicious dinner, they moved into the bedroom with Kamui slightly off from the wine. It was Kamui who initiated the move on Subaru with a chaste kiss as a starter. It soon became heated more and more, and before they both realized it, they were on the bed, slightly panting, without their shirt anymore.
"Mngh.." Kamui moaned, letting himself deeper into the passionate kiss he shared with Subaru.
"Kamui-kun.." He wishpered his lover's name, while letting his hand wandered on Kamui's torso, looking for his sensitive area.
"Ngh...Aah!" He moaned when he felt Subaru's finger on his nipple.
Found the sensitive area, Subaru began to play with it gently. He rubbed and pinched it gently until it became stiffened. He soon broke their kiss due to their need of fresh air.

And with that, Kamui drifted into deep slumber. Subaru looked at his sleeping lover, trying to memorize their first moment together. Finally, after almost five years of going out, they became one.
