Chapter 10

"If that's how you think I behave then lets end it right here right now!" Jade yelled.

"I think we may have found us a snack." Elijah said with a smirk to Klaus.

Klaus sighed.

"Brother, why don't you breathe through your nose?"

Elijah sniffed the air.

"Ah, werewolves."

Logan turns to the two men.

"Do you mind I'm trying to break up with my girlfriend here?!"

"F**k it! I'm taking the car and going home to find somewhere else to sleep tonight!" Jade declared.

"Well to make sure you get home little werewolf, why don't I accompany you?" Klaus asked.

"Sure." Jade smiled and started to walk away with Klaus.

"You'd let a stranger take sure you get home alright, but not me!" Logan shouted at Jade's back.

"That's because this stranger happens to be my..." Jade stopped herself.

Instead she pulled out her phone and started texting. Logan's phone buzzed in his pocket shortly after she finished.

"Read your text and you'd find out!" Jade said, jumping into the passenger seat of Klaus' car.

In Kaiba corp. limo.

"So you saved Mokuba?" Sophie asked.

Ryou nodded in reply.

"Did this happen before or after the mew project?" Sophie looked out the window as she asked.

"Before." Was Ryou's answer.

The limo comes to a halt.

"That was quick." Sophie said looking around. "...too quick."

In Klaus' car on the way to a restaurant, called Quake.

"So daughter how many mongrels have you annoyed since the last time I saw you?" Klaus asked Jade.

"Not my target amount, but it was getting close." Jade smirked.

"What was the target number?" Klaus glance at his daughter.

"Two hundred." Jade replied. "So far I'm at a hundred and sixty-nine."

Klaus sighed.

"Anything you want to tell me?"

Jade raised an eyebrow.

"What?"

"Why you were fighting with the wolf your blood bonded to?" Klaus explained.

"How could you tell?" Jade asked.

"There's the smell for one thing." Klaus replied.

"And the other thing?" Jade looked at her father.

Klaus shook his head.

"I'd rather not say."

Back in the limo.

"Don't worry; we're just picking up some other people the Mr. Kaiba has invited." The driver reassured.

The limo door opened and a tanned guy with blonde hair and lilac eyes.

"Hello Sophie." He said in an Egyptian accent.

"Marik." Sophie growled in reply.

At the docks

Logan read the text.

"Now that I did not see coming." He admitted.

"So do you wanna tell me why you were arguing with my niece?" Elijah asked.

"We knew Klaus would be here." Logan explained. "She said she needed to talk to him: I never knew this was a family reunion."

"So it was all set up?" Elijah frowned.

Logan nodded.

To the limo!

"Ya miss me?" Marik smirked.

"As much as I miss being in the shadow realm." Sophie replied sarcastically.

"You two know each other?" Ryou asked.

"Yeah." Sophie sighed. "We met at the battle city toridment, unfortunely..."

"It wasn't that bad." Marik argued as he sat down and the limo started moving again.

"You tied me to an anchor and tried to send me to the bottom of the ocean!" Sophie seethed.

"Aren't you going to introduce me to your friend?" Marik asked.

"No." Sophie replied.

"I'm Ryou." Ryou said.

Marik nodded.

"Anyway Sophie, are you still going on about that?" Marik asked.

"YOU. TRIED. TO. KILL. ME!" Sophie yelled.

Marik blinked.

"So?"

The limo stopped again...

A guy with white hair and brown eyes entered the car.

"Sophie? Is that you?" He asked in a British accent.

Sophie nodded.

"How are you Bakura?"

"Good." He smiled.

At that point Bakura noticed Marik was also in the car.

"Marik." He said.

"Bakura." Marik replied.

Klaus slams on the breaks of his car and it screeches to a stop. He growled.

"What is it?" Jade asked.

"Sophie!" Klaus explained. "She's not far by the smell of it; she keeps stopping every now and again."

"Are there any other scents?" Jade looked around to see if she could see anyone on the street.

There was no one.

"Many, she must have people joining her." Klaus replied.

"What are we going to do?" Jade asked.

"Crash the party." Klaus smirked. "Call your uncle."

Jade nodded and Klaus restarted the car and headed in the direction he could smell Sophie.

The limo starts again.

"Is there anyone else to pick up?" Sophie asked the driver, while glaring at Marik.

"Just one more." The driver replied.

"Haven't seen you since battle city Marik." Bakura said trying to make conversation.

"Let's just say I've been re-gathering my power." Marik replied.

Sophie scoffed.

"More like in hiding."

The car came to a sudden halt; almost throwing the passenger from their seats.

Klaus stopped his car in front of a white limo.

"This is Sophie's car." Klaus said.

"Let's go!" Jade said jumping out of the car.

Klaus opens the limo door.

"As my daughter would say get the f**k out." He growled.

"How dare you command us we're-?!" Marik began.

"Shut up Marik and stay here." Sophie ordered.

With a quick glance at Ryou, Sophie left the car.
