Hello there guys, I'm back and the tenth chapter of "Fate Sins" is here. I thank you guys once again for your support and reviews of the crossover story between Fate/Stay Night and Nanatsu no Taizai. It appears Altria and Mordred split off from the Boar Hat crew to find the Pleiades of the Azure Sky for their aid while Hendrickson had a mysterious benefactor on his side.
In response to the previous reviews, I will have it changed to Rated T since the violence and language is getting a bit more frequent and I humbly request someone to help me beta-read from the first to third chapters of the story since it's the source of the flames to begin with despite the improvement of this story. I would most appreciate some help. Thank you very much. :D
Disclaimer: I do not own Nanatsu no Taizai or Fate series. They belong to Nakaba Suzuki and TYPE-MOON. That includes all the characters from both awesome franchises involved in the fanfic story. Even to the animation teams and studio behind the two franchises' anime adaptations.
Enjoy and don't forget to review. Criticisms, comments, ideas are always welcome. No flame please :)
(plays Netsujō no Spectrum by Ikimono-gakari at the start of the chapter).
Chapter 10
Somewhere in the outskirts of Liones down to the borders of the kingdom in the south
A whole week has passed since the Pendragons have briefly separated from the Boar Hat crew to find the Pleiades of the Azure Sky whom Altria believed that they can help Princess Elizabeth's cause of the kingdom's liberation from the tyrannical Holy Knights if they can be convinced to join their side first that is. Apparently they split off at the town of Byron where the two women had left the crew with the horses they purchased from town right in the middle of the crowd chasing after Meliodas, King, Elizabeth and Hawk who went there for more information of the other remaining Sins' locations because of the third princess' wanted poster that completely matches her in contrast of the Sins' own wanted posters.
Surprisingly, there were no almost wanted posters of Altria and Mordred when they traveled down south the countryside of Britannia like a hedge knight with a squire. Probably because maybe their faces weren't seen or clear enough in order for the accurate picture to be made.
As of right now, they have made camp in the nearby forest near the road when the sun sets in order to prevent any patrol of ordinary knights and footmen or even a Holy Knight from recognizing them as accomplices of the Seven Deadly Sins and enemies of the kingdom.
"Alright Mordred, where are we now?", Altria asked her son while tending to the campfire with food cooked basically and ready to be consumed soon.
"I believe that we are somewhere near the outskirts towards Fersen, Father. A mining and armor-making town in the kingdom according to Sir King. According to the map, it is located south of Liones' borders and it's probably where the Pleiades might be stationed there.", Mordred explained.
"Armor-making huh? Just our luck, Mordred. We needed a blacksmith to repair our own armor for a considerable price. They're all trashed up.", the King of Knights commented in agreement, glancing at the package containing what's left of their armors they once wore before.
Ever since they somehow came into this what they believed to be an alternate timeline dimension of sorts from their own perspective at least, the respective armors of Altria and Mordred Pendragons are so damaged from the fights that they'll have to fight in battle with the swords on their hands.
But it's kind of a refreshing change at least as they also managed to build up durability of their frail-looking bodies that's constantly strengthened by Prana Bursts to endure any powerful attacks and blows which could have killed a normal person even if they wear protective full-plate armor in battle.
"Say, Mordred. About last week since Sir Meliodas demanded us an explanation, I wonder if our comrades had believed us when we told them the truth.", Altria wondered out loud while cooking some basic meals at the campfire.
"Hmm... If my memory serves, I think they didn't believe us at all when we told them of who were really are except being hailed from Camelot which is the only rational sense they had in mind. To be frank, they think we're delusional.", Mordred told her about the conversation between the three Sins she eavesdropped earlier when Altria readied their horses and necessary supplies and packing with Elizabeth and Hawk's assistance over a week ago.
During that conversation, Ban sing-sung claimed that the Pendragons must be very drunk or even crazy mental disorder to be telling them that they're from another dimension similar to theirs which is something out of the ordinary and cranked up to eleven especially about Altria's "sword" between her legs that brought forth Mordred into the world while Meliodas looked skeptical of their claims that is Merlin's expertise, not his, and had just played along with them all this time. King seemed to have sense in believing them but remained skeptical and Diane doubted it but still had the heart to believe them at least.
Thus, the four Sins had concluded thought in agreement, although the Serpent's Sin of Envy was reluctant a little at first, that the Pendragons were merely over-exaggerating their claims but yet believed them to be hailed from the southern kingdom of Camelot which made more sense.
"I see... Guess we're not taken seriously then. Being thrown into another world or rather an alternate dimension, I think, may be entirely something they cannot comprehend with their thoughts or maybe it's getting cliche for some reason. Oh well, at least we told them about us anyways and if that is what they believe we were crazy, then so be it.", Altria said with a hint of deadpan.
Several minutes later after a dinner at the campfire, the blonde woman noticed her son's depressed look with a face filled with guilt and decided to try console her with whatever problem she had as any parent would do to their own offspring.
"Is there something wrong Mordred?", Altria asked in concern.
"Father, remember the time we have fought against each other back in the Capital of the Dead. About you spoke to me about your kingship that ruined our lives supposedly before all of this we've been through a lot.", the blonde teen wondered out loud.
Sighing a little, the King of Knights explained to her natural-born child. "... Yes, Mordred. Everything I did when I ruled the kingdom was all for naught. I have fought and defended my people and the kingdom from enemies who seek to destroy it as a true rightful king should be but... I had alienated myself from those whom I could have depended on and couldn't comprehend the sufferings of our people because of my lack of human emotions. In the end, the kingdom fell not by outside enemies but by loyal retainers who held dissent and anger towards me. That is why I longer wished to be king again."
"You no longer wish to be king again?... But why Father? ", Mordred said in surprise of her father so willing to give up kingship which was supposedly hers by right.
"Because, Mordred. All of I did for Camelot was ended up making everyone suffer no matter what I do as king. I made Lancelot suffer. I made Guinevere suffer. I made the entire Knights of the Round Table suffer. Everyone suffered because of me. And worst of all, I made you suffer. The downfall of Camelot was my fault, not you. Iskander, the Rider of the Fourth Grail War, was right all along when he said that to my face at the Banquet of Kings. How I poorly ruled the kingdom of Britain for someone like me with no human emotions to understand the suffering of my friends and my people whilst I sit on the throne alone, cold and emotionless...", Saber said in a sad tone before finishing her words. "That is why my wish for the Grail... is for another one to take my place and be a better ruler than I once was."
Pondering on her thoughts, the blond teen soon beginning to understand of what her father had meant and realized that kingship may make a person powerful but somehow alienates from friends and allies when being in the seat of power too much and would eventually lead to downfall should she become king. Perhaps being denied from inheriting the throne may not be so bad after all.
Suddenly, she was touched in the face quite kinda adorably by Altria with a heartfelt smile. "Not only that, I would use this opportunity I cannot absolutely afford to pass by to spend more time with you, Mordred.", she finished which made Mordred feel flustered and embarrassed while crying few drops of tears.
"And what about you? Do you have a wish for the Grail?", Altria asked in turn which made the Knight of Treachery feel nervous and stuttering, fiddling her fingers.
"M-m-my wish for the Grail is... is to want for you to love me.", she said which the King of Knights gave a stifle giggle. "F-father?... Is there something funny?"
Stopping her little laugh, the blonde woman reassured. "No, Mordred. It's just... that I was expecting something like you would use the Grail to challenge the sword of appointment as a method of proving kingship that even I could not deny. Oh well, your true wish is much more simple than I thought."
"Thank you Father... for granting my wish that has eluded me for so long...", the Knight of Treachery said in gratitude with a little cute blush on her cheeks which Altria graciously accepted it with an adorable hug.
Then after a few minutes later, another issue was brought up concerning about Mordred's power due to the fact ever since Saber had finally acknowledged her as her son along with the long overdue apology, Mordred has become calm and level-headed person with an occasional smile and tears unlike the always angry girl throwing a loud and annoying tantrum with a scowl all the time.
The young teen said as she showed her weapon, "I have another problem, Father. It's about Clarent..."
"Is there a problem with your weapon, Mordred? What happened? Did it break?...", Saber asked in worry about the state of Clarent due to the intense battle they fought at the realm of the souls.
"A-a-after you finally acknowledged me as your son and apologized, Clarent Blood Arthur somehow lost its power after I let go of my rage towards you and reverted back to the original Clarent. Why did it still work earlier is because my sword only responds to my anger at that Holy Knight Guila we fought together back in the Capital of the Dead.", Mordred explained.
"I see. When you lose your rage and anger towards me, you lost your drive to use harness Clarent. Am I right?", Altria wondered.
Nodding in agreement, Mordred told her father. "Yes, Clarent Blood Arthur was empowered by my... formerly wanton hatred for you. After we reconciled in that battle at the Capital of the Dead, the blood-red radiance of this sword dissipated and now lies the pure, beautiful, and famous sword Clarent. I couldn't even use this sword or even access to its power even if I wanted to because I lost that rage..."
"Hmm...So you're saying that your power lies in anger right? If rage is what makes you stronger, then I suggest that you find yourself a new source. Somewhat akin to righteous anger if it suits you best. I'm not forcing you to choose any new drive that isn't compatible with you but you can be the old chivalric Mordred again when you first joined the Round Table or you can just be yourself. If you decided on the latter, think of something that makes you really mad and you use it to take that anger out on your enemies, channeling your power through Clarent.", Saber said in suggestion.
"Well, that could work. The angrier I get, the stronger I get. Reminds me of The Hulk from The Avengers movie I once watched when I was Saber of Red in free time back then. I always stated I should have likened to being a Berserker after all. Thanks Father.", Mordred commented with a sheepish smile that Altria returned the favor too and suggested for her to be called 'daughter' instead of son in order to not make it awkward which the former readily accepted it.
The Pendragons then shared a brief hearty laugh together as if they're having a father and son moment together which they apparently did and then decided to get to know each other better as they talked about tales and stories of their adventures during their respective positions as Sabers from different Holy Grail Wars while sharing their mutual love for food...
At the capital of the Kingdom of Liones
Within the halls of the capital's castle in the middle of the noon, Great Holy Knight Hendrickson was walking as he began to thought out the successes of his plan carrying out well-accordingly on schedule too after Twigo and Jericho were successfully inducted into his faction. He had numerous New Generation Holy Knights in his faction out of the Apprentice Holy Knights who drank the blood of the Red Demon and gained new-found strength.
All just to prepare the Holy Knights for the prophesied Holy War that is inevitable.
While almost everybody had assumed that the Seven Deadly Sins are the would-be opponents they will battle due to their sinister reputation as extremely dangerous criminals who once tried to overthrow the kingdom and killed the late Great Holy Knight Zaratras which was his and Dreyfus' work and frame-up, it's the Demon Clan who is the most obvious enemy for the Holy Knights to fight in equal grounds with the New Generation... and the Crusaders.
The Crusaders. They are a rising new faction of Holy Knights within the kingdom of Liones. Said to be resourceful and resilient, the Crusaders are an entirely different breed of holy warriors, trained to wield sacred powers unlike any before as opposed of the vast variety of magics wielded by their Holy Knight counterparts. And also said to be unbending champions of faith and law, the Crusaders' formidable skills and abilities set them apart on the battlefield from all of the Holy Knights including the New Generation too.
Because of their faith in God, the Crusaders has taken zealotry to a whole new level, finding comfort and strength in their unshakable confidence in their undying cause as they are a group of men and women chosen not only for their formidable prowess and cunning on the battlefield, but also for their uncompromising and unyielding dedication to the light of God.
Father Charles is the leader of the Crusaders along with the honorary rank title of Cardinal in the Holy Knights and has been the major supporter of the two Great Holy Knights' cause of preparing the kingdom for the inevitable Holy War as he is a priest spreading Christianity to the general public and providing them with reprieve and guidance in support for the Holy Knights.
A tanned-skinned youth with white hair like silver that Hendrickson thought he was one of the Druids at first glance and with dark ageless eyes. He wears the vestments of a priest and a golden cross around his neck. His vestment is a type of a red holy shroud and he wore a red stole over his cassock. He has an innocent, boyish face showing that he has yet to have aged past twenty years of age.
Whenever he would go into combat, his clothing is a mixture of traditional samurai outfit with Britannian influence that involves some several plates of armor. He wears a jinbaori style haori with Christianity crosses decorated on them. He wears a tradition umanori hakama with Shin guards which had cloth straps that were used to tie the Shin guards to the lower leg. He wears a collar shirt underneath his Kimono and a Cravat tied around his collar.
With such unique noble style of religious attire mixed with some warrior features Father Charles wear along with his charisma and looks, he is a truly sort of an ideal priest fully armed and defended with the faith of God at his side.
Hendrickson remembered the young man who came into the kingdom several years ago where he politely offered his services to him and Dreyfus after the coup that overthrew the king after expressing his desire to support the Holy Knights for the prophesied Holy War they are fervently preparing for. He was skeptical at first because of his willingness to help them in their cause but not only that, the Great Holy Knight had sensed great strength and magical power somewhat similar of the Apostle of the Goddess Clan normally possessed for some reason from Father Charles who had claimed that it was his iron-bound faith in God that granted him such extraordinary and miraculous abilities.
However, months has passed by when Father Charles had managed to win the support of the populace with his teachings of God and the charisma which is more effective instead of the oppressive tactics the Holy Knights typically did.
This left the two Great Holy Knights of the kingdom entirely impressed and earned deep respect for his abilities after gaining their trust and had granted him the Cardinal rank which was normally reserved for elderly knights and wizards as an honorary member of the Holy Knights. Truly befitting for the man of his priestly station and a humble servant of God.
During his teachings of Christianity to the people of Liones, Charles preached that the Goddess Clan are a not a race of actual goddesses but a race of angelic beings under God who serve as guardians of humanity who guides and protects them through the power granted to the Crusaders as they once wielded them before in the Ancient War when they were around in the world which is a more plausible sense to those who listens to his words.
Hendrickson had to admit that Father Charles' way of influencing people into listening to him through preaching his faith and propaganda was often times more useful and productive than Dreyfus' own methods that are a bit too extreme and even his own too as shown during one of his "flashy" war speeches to the assembled Holy Knights which Father Charles wasn't even present there.
Many Holy Knights, who listened to his teachings, have flocked to his side and became the newly-formed Crusaders. Surprisingly, there were the only ones who have never actually oppressed the people as they are warriors of God who protect the weak and innocent as true Holy Knights should be while properly motivating them that their cause they uphold for is right and just.
Rumors among the castle staff and guards speak of Father Charles was constantly consulting God through the Horn of Cerunnos, a ritualistic relic that allows the user to communicate with the realm of the Goddess Clan who lost their power and physical forms in the real world that was hidden deep underneath the castle which is something he neither confirm nor deny it.
Of course, this led to series of heated confrontations and enmities of hatred between the Crusaders and the New Generation over how they treated the people of the kingdom and the differences that sets them apart.
This has posed a problem as the Crusaders and New Generation often clashed each other of their ideologies and strength comparatively although the latter side were the first one trying to prove the former but there were no weapons and bloodshed drawn between them thankfully but sooner or later, a bloody brawl or a skirmish might break out between two Holy Knight factions vital for the kingdom's strength in the face of the Holy War.
Thankfully, the Holy Knights in Dreyfus' faction had own code and standards to uphold despite the cruel methods they've done under their superior's orders and tried to play peacekeeper between the zealot believers of God and the dark-eyed empathy-lacking men of great strength before any of them would resort to weapons and magic. And if that happen, a bloody chaos will ensue within the castle.
"Lord Hendrickson, fancy meeting you here in the noon.", the spiky white haired tanned young man politely greeted when he was seen strolling down the hallway with a Bible on his hand too as well and spotted the Great Holy Knight.
"Father Charles, I have been very busy lately. Forgive me. The Seven Deadly Sins has been giving the kingdom problems lately. So far, four members have been reassembled and there are most likely searching for the last three in the countryside. Not only that, Princess Elizabeth was associated with them along with the associates from Camelot, Altria Pendragon and the other Camelot Holy Knight with her too."
Father Charles said in response, "Rest assured, my lord. The Seven Deadly Sins will face divine judgement of God once the Crusaders are ready to deploy against them and the third princess will be safely under their custody after she realizes her foolishness in dealing with such heathens. And as for the Pendragons,... I'll have them dealt with. Personally."
"I trust that your Crusaders will succeed to the task. I have already formed a strike force composed of my three New Generation with Marmas leading them for a mission against the Sins at Byzel. They are said to be heading there according to reports from Princess Veronica and her bodyguard Griamore. Adding some of your holy warriors of God into the group wouldn't hurt, am I right?", Hendrickson said with a hint of skepticism.
"The Crusaders have been training under me for months in order to hone their new-found magical skills and abilities granted by Heaven and are soon more than ready to smite God's enemies for the upcoming Holy War unlike a certain group of Holy Knights who just suddenly got their powers and strength out of nowhere... Considering the fact, they were once Apprentice Holy Knights.", the priest reassured.
The middle-aged white-haired man gave a serious look on his eyes as he said to Father Charles, "It doesn't matter how the New Generation gain their powers, priest. All it matters that the Holy Knights will have the strength more than necessary in order to face the Holy War that is coming and cannot be stopped. With the New Generation and the Crusaders, victory is within our grasp in this upcoming war."
"Very well, then. Understood. I will have Anna Jinn, Dregan, Roland and Clovis ready to join the strike force first thing in the morning, my lord. They're the top 4 Crusaders within the holy warriors serving the one true God. The Seven Deadly Sins won't know what hit them.", Father Charles said. Especially Saber- no the original King Arthur... And I would bet the 'other Camelot Holy Knight' is Saber of Red again... Been a long time, hasn't it, Mordred.
You are nothing but a pawn in my schemes, Father Charles... Once you've outlived your usefulness, you won't live to see another day. Perhaps you might meet your God this time..., the spiky haired Great Holy Knight smirked evilly in his thoughts as he bid the priest good day and left but little did he know the priest had a retort out loud too in response as if he had read his mind already by now.
"You may think you're using me in your schemes Lord Hendrickson... but it is I, Shirou Kotomine, who is the true manipulator here. Once you outlived your usefulness, you won't live to see another day.", the white haired young man said in an ironic echo with an ominous smirk before leaving the hall to continue his teachings of faith in God and carrying out his plans for the good of humanity.
Continually heading back to his private chambers for his daily praying sessions and later meeting with his trusted aides among the Crusaders in his schedule, Father Charles-no, Shirou muttered out loud to himself. "Oh I won't forget about you Lord Dreyfus... You and your little Demonic friend inside your poisoned head who will be exorcised by God soon enough."
In his office at the other side of the castle where he managed paperwork, Dreyfus felt a sudden cold twinge down his spine for some reason and closed the windows, believing that it's the noon's cold wind must have made him shiver.
At the town of Fersen
Arriving at Fersen where blacksmiths and workers labored on their jobs of forging and repairing armor, and the townspeople going about in their daily lives, the King of Knights and the former Knight of Treachery got off their horse after securing them in a stable for a small fee and searched around town for their would-be allies for Princess Elizabeth's cause of the kingdom's liberation.
"Whoa... So this is Fersen. Armor-making business is indeed quite a popular trend here in this town.", Mordred commented with a wolf whistle at the current busy state of the town she saw.
"The Holy Knights must have commissioned the town to supply them with weapons, armor, gear and equipment for their war effort and Fersen seemed to be profiting well from it. We'll find a blacksmith for our armor repairs later. Right now, we need to find the Pleiades, Mordred.", Altria said which her daughter agreed as they continued wandering around such a busy town.
Unknown to them however, the Pendragons have passed by two certain individuals who seemed to overheard their conversation that piqued their interest during their little rest and relaxation at the town's only cafeteria.
The first one is relatively short young male with spiky red hair that extends into two short bangs. He is seen wearing a casual attire similar to an archer. His attire consists of a black tank shirt buckled from his left collarbone to his right waist with a belt which he keeps his green quivers on. He also wears red arm pads that reach down to his knuckles and a pair of brown shorts. He also has a bow and two quivers of arrows at his side.
And another one is a young female of below average height and a slender figure. She has bright green hair that's tied into a ponytail with a red Dolly bow headband and dark eyes. Her attire, consists of a metal purple strapped shirt along with a short skirt, black arm wears with blue frills, and a short red scarf tied around her neck. She also wears armor on her legs. She also has a staff with a love heart design on the top.
Those two are the Holy Knights of Liones and members of the Pleiades of the Azure Sky.
The spiky red-haired kid wondered out loud after taking his feet off the table when he heard the two blonde girls talking about their group, "Oh so those two blondies are looking for us huh?... You know I always look for chicks to pick up but never before in my life they would actually be looking for such a devilishly-handsome hunk like me... Score for me, the great Arden! Yeah! Say, what do you think Deldrey?"
"If I am not wrong, those two are said to be from Camelot and are accomplices of the Seven Deadly Sins and Princess Elizabeth according to the reports by Death Pierce he received from the kingdom occasionally. We better contact Lord Denzel about this.", the green haired girl said as she get her staff before starting to get impatient. "Where the hell is Wayeo? That little man still proposing marriages to any girl he meets with rejections and never gives up."
While still searching for the Pleiades of the Azure Sky, Altria and Mordred had nearly ran into a short middle-aged man with a strong build of his size and has black hair and mustache. He wears a loose version of a regal knight uniform alongside a broadsword he carries at his back. He seems to be silent and serious looking on his face when the two blonde woman noticed it.
"Excuse me miladies. I hope I didn't hinder your path to whatever destination you wish to go. My name is Wayeo by the way... I-...hmm...", the short man introduced himself as Wayeo but stopped for a while as he gazed at the two Pendragons for some reason.
Is... is that a dwarf?..., Mordred thought in confusion at the sight of the short man as it reminds me of a HBO tv series of Game of Thrones she watched during her free time as Saber of Red. Honestly it reminds me of that Lannister dwarf who is everyone's surviving main favorite character of the show and hopefully is still alive for the next upcoming sixth season or so.
For some reason, that beard of that man of his... stature reminds me of Sir Twigo...Why is he staring at us?... Is he an enemy?..., the King of Knights noted in a bitter thought of the Apprentice Holy Knight who had soiled her knight's honor upon looking at the short man in front of them while cautioning her Hadhafang just in case.
Looking up literally at the two women blonde of hair and green eyes, the small man stared at them and comparing their appearances and looks as he was trying to compare their beauty apart for just a few minutes.
Then suddenly Wayeo brought out a boutique of roses out of nowhere and knelt before Mordred like a knight in shining armor to his beloved princess.
"Will you marry me?", was all he could speak out his words to no other than the Knight of Treachery herself.
Inwardly in reaction to the dwarf's sudden marriage proposal towards Mordred of all people, the blond teen had now finally found a reason to get angry as her rage within her had reignited once more and plus the short man really reminded her of Game of Thrones' Tyrion Lannister not only in stature but of whoring habits she assumed while Altria snapped angrily at the thought of someone proposing her daughter out of nowhere even if they have just met and also he's not even her type.
And then they raised her arms together with fists clenching just when the dwarf looked up to see whether if his marriage proposal has been accepted... but Wayeo was dead wrong when he realized that he woken two dragons and they're both really angry.
"NO WAY IN FUCKING HELL ARE YOU GONNA MARRY ME/MY DAUGHTER!", the mother and daughter yelled together angrily as they then simultaneously punched Wayeo in the face that sent him flying!
"MARRIAGEEEEE!", Wayeo exclaimed after he was punched flying and went straight crashing into the nearby building, ended up completely destroying it in the process.
The townsfolk witnessing this panicked and gasped in surprise at the scene caused by the two blonde women punching a short man for making a marriage proposal to one of them all of a sudden.
"Marriage... EEIKK!", Wayeo muttered with his eyes twirling around like crazy and had two swollen cheeks from the two Pendragons' punch together and tries to get up only to face two deadly swords emanating with blue and red magical power by an enraged Altria and Modred standing before him.
"What gives you the right to marry my own child, sir? We've just met for a minute ago and now you dare propose to her in front of me. You're clearly much older than her and she doesn't deserve a man yet. Such a disgrace to the family honor...", Saber said in anger.
"Just what the fuck is your problem, shorty?! You were polite for just a moment ago and now you're proposing to me! There's no way in hell I'm gonna marry you! Do you propose marriage to every girl you just met bastard?!", Saber of Red yelled in rage too.
Facing two angry armed women, Wayeo looked like he was about to shit himself. He knew girls would always reject his marriage proposal whenever he runs into them either by politeness or rough-housing. But never before in his life this has taken way up to the extreme after they punched him so hard in the face and threaten to skewer him alive with swords like that!
"Hahahahaha! I knew it! I knew that one of these days Wayeo is gonna end up getting his ass kicked by a girl and I was right! Hahahaha! Come on, Deldrey! Pay me up! You owe me 50 Gold coins!", a childish teen voice said out loud that got Altria and Mordred's attention.
Approaching the scene is Arden and Deldrey walking towards the Pendragons still with the sword in their hands casually while the townsfolk moved out of the way and immediately anticipated a skirmish between them is going to break out sooner or later.
"Alright, alright Arden! You win! At least Wayeo got what he deserve for proposing marriage to any woman he meets...", the green-haired woman said as she took out a pouch and gave it to her partner.
Readying Hadhafang in case of hostilities from the two teens, Altria demanded of their identities. "Who are you two and state your business?"
"Since you are most polite in asking for our introductions, I will comply your request milady. I am Arden and my partner is Deldrey. The little man you just got his ass kicked there is Wayeo. We are the Pleiades of the Azure Sky.", the red-haired teen cheerfully introduced himself and his colleagues while Deldrey gave a cursty bow and Wayeo starting to get up like nothing happened and brushed some dirt off him despite suffering two swollen cheeks on his face.
Oh fuck..., is what registered in the two blonde women's minds in a deadpanned manner, lowering their respective weapons as a result after they realized their mistake of what they have done today in Fersen.
The Pendragons have just unintentionally ended up picking a fight with the very same group of people they were looking for in the first place and it was entirely Wayeo's fault for triggering all that by the way.
(plays 7-Seven by FLOW x GRANDRODEO at the end of the chapter)
Author's Note: Looks like the tenth chapter of "Fate Sins" is done and the next update of the story will come around soon. It appears that the Boar Hat crew never actually believed them and find them crazy but had to play along. Feel free to notify my mistakes and I will fix it. It seems Altria and Mordred Pendragons are having a father and son time together and finally made contact with the Pleiades of the Azure Sky... with Wayeo proposing the Knight of Treachery all of a sudden.
I bet some of you guys didn't expect Shirou Kotomine from Fate/Apocrypha of all people. XD Guess Mordred might have a bone to pick with him once they ran into each other again at some point in the future. And also, the Crusaders, the new group of Holy Knights led by Shirou are somewhat inspired from the Player Class of that said name from Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. They'll make their full debut in the future chapters with some few OCs along the way. I hope I didn't make him a bit too OOC and if there are some, please nitpick me so I can fix it better.
Anyways enjoy and don't forget to review. No flames please.
