I hope you enjoy the chapter!

Disclaimer: I don't own the Harry Potter series, it belongs to J.K. Rowling. I own my OCs and the plot though.

February 2nd, 1976.

I don't know if I should kill Sev, honestly? I don't like Evans, but call her a Mudblood because of injured pride. That's just stupid, she is- excuse me, was- his only friend. Writing in a diary is also stupid. We're all a bunch of idiots. Obviously, I'm not having a good day, but it's not like I'm going to write it all over again. It would too masochist of me.

That was definitely Katherine, Snape didn't doubt that. The only thing he still couldn't grasp was the fact that she had children. In plural. Before she entered in coma. He had a niece and a nephew and didn't know how deal with that information because after Kat's incident, he had thought he was alone, with this new information, he knew it wasn't the truth.

Severus knew there were the good sides and the bad side coming from the Black twins.

They were Blacks.

And guess who comes in the same package?

When it seems that I'll be free from the mutt. He just comes back with a worse way to annoy me.

"Dumbledore you can't let them do this!" Screamed an outraged Molly. Apparently, asking her for permission to go to Brazil wasn't the wisest idea. Obviously, the idea was Ron's and backed by Ginny.

Aquila shook her head, why did the woman have to be so stubborn? She could see that Alex had the same reaction, but Sirius was grinning as Remus defended them.

"Of course he can!" The werewolf yelled back, "Let them live a little! This house is making all of them depressed!"

"All of us," Sirius added.

Molly wouldn't have it, "Harry-"

"Harry would be safer there than he would here!" Aquila entered in the discussion, "Are you all stupid or what? Now I can see why Professor Snape is always scowling! Such idiocy is tiring!"

"Look here you little girl! If you're questioning the power of the Order to protect Harry…"

"I'm not! I'm questioning its intelligence! Keeping Harry here is so dumb. They expect you to do that! Then send him away to his relatives…."

"How do you even know that?"

"Everyone knows! It's not like you're being careful! You guys do need allies with other ways of thinking obviously! If you all weren't so thick, you would have used Aunt Cissa's information and ideas already!"

"We still can't trust her!"

"What would do in her place? If it were one of your children!"

"I would have killed them all already!"

Aquila was getting so tired of all that shit, the woman didn't get how Death Eaters thought and probably never would. She took a deep breath, "There's one wizard you trust in the island, Dumbledore." She turned to the wizard who had stayed quiet during the whole argument.

The old man looked at her with interest, giving her a sign to continue, "Besides, my aunt who did give you information during the war, of course. The island is also under the Fidelius Charm, Harry and the rest of the kids will be perfectly safe there. However, I wasn't talking about her."

"So who might this be this wizard my dear?" The headmaster asked in a curious voice.

But it was Alex who answered, "Malcolm McGonagall, a member of the old Order of Phoenix."

The room went silent, everyone was waiting for his response, "Who is the Secret Keeper?"

"Now, now. You don't trust me, but that doesn't mean I'm begging for your trust." Alex said smirking.

Albus clapped his hands and stood up, "I'm hoping you'll take some adults with you?"

Alex nodded, "Yes. Aunt Cissa, Professor Snape and the dynamic duo over there." He said pointing to Remus and Sirius. His godfather let out bark like laugh.

"Heard that, Moony?" He asked his friend who was trying to hide his own grin.

Molly was getting redder than her hair, "But- but… Dumbledore! You can't! Sirius can't leave the house!"

"He'll be under the Fidelius. Besides, there are really few Dementor's in Brazil and they stay mostly in the North of the country." Aquila explained rolling her eyes, that bickering was getting old.

Dumbledore was smiling, "I see no reason to object."

And Molly was fuming, which made Aquila the happiest inside, "How will they even get there? They're kids and the Ministry will surely hear about this!"

"Please, woman, do give us some credit." Asked Alex annoyed, "I've been all around the world this past year without a single problem with the Ministries."

"And how do you do that?"

Alex and Aquila looked at each other smirking, and then they spoke together, "Crescent! Lupa!"

The wolf appeared by Alex's side and the panther by Aquila's. As a magical familiar, Crescent knew that the man beside Alex was actually Aquila. Besides, it's not like had never happened before.

Everyone in the room looked amazed and scared of the two animals because neither of them was known as the least dangerous animal in the world. Besides, people in the order had seen Crescent fighting alongside Aquila, and it was frightening and beautiful.

Narcissa suck her breath. She had seen Lupa, in the Malfoy Manor of course, but she had never seen Crescent, and now that she did, she recognized the panther.

Tears rolled down her cheeks, "Reg…" She ran to the panther, which also seemed to recognize her, as it didn't move when the blonde woman hugged it. "Sirius, do you…?"

The man also seemed in shock, "I-I- thought- never in a million years- never believed."

Remus, however looked between the cousins in confusion, "I don't understand. What happened?"

Sirius shook his head, "Regulus used to talk about a panther with a crescent moon in its left eye. I thought it was an imaginary friend, you know? I never for a second believed in its existence." He never took his eyes off the panther, "A panther, inside this house, how could I?"

Aquila smiled weakly, "She has been with me since forever. Anyway, who wants to go first?"

"I'll go with Draco." Narcissa said still hugging the panther.

Draco didn't need to be told twice, he went over his mother and touched the panther. Aquila nodded, "Crescent, take them to Aunt Lena." With that the panther disappeared with the two blondes.

Alex smirked at everyone's faces, "Who's next?"

Harry went to the wolf and patted it. Lupa was indeed beautiful, and Harry didn't seem to be the only one who noticed because Remus and Sirius were still gapping. "I'll go."

Sirius stood up quickly, "I'll go with him."

Obviously, the Weasley girl didn't miss the chance, "Me too." Which made Aquila scowl in annoyance, she did invite the girl, but that didn't mean she liked her. She did it for… Hell, she didn't even know why she did it.

Lupa disappeared and Crescent reappeared, "That was quick." Arthur Weasley commented impressed, his wife remained quiet, as she knew she had lost the argument.

"Just a sec, I need to get something and Professor Snape." Alex said rushing upstairs with Fred and George right behind him.

Remus and Ron went next; Snape came down the stairs with an unreadable expression. Aquila couldn't blame him, Lupa appeared beside her and the boys ran down the stairs laughing.

"Okay hyenas, who's going?" She asked with a smile on her lips, it was good to see Alex laughing like that again.

"I'll go." Fred- she thought- said.

"Okay." Alex said and Professor Snape (she wouldn't call him uncle until he allow because she didn't want to receive the end of his hexes), Fred and Alex disappeared with Lupa.

George turned to her with a knowing look and she grinned, wearing her father's face she must have looked like a younger Sirius. Damn the Black genes that made three people too look much alike, Alex, her father and Sirius.

"Granger?" He asked and Aquila nodded.

Crescent appeared and both were immediately transported to the middle of the street in front of the Granger residence. It was a beautiful house, Aquila had to admit, but she preferred her own in Brazil. The girl shortened her hair a made it a really dark brown color, but not black like it was before. She changed herself into her brother, which didn't make that much difference, but it would preferable if anything happened.

"Why not change into yourself?"

Aquila paused brutally and bit her lip. She hated the question, she had always hated it. So simple, so innocent, so… revealing. The girl shook her head; it was not time for that, so she told him a half-lie, "I'm in men's clothes. It'll be easier, besides, my father is… thought dead. Let's keep it that way for the world."

"Okay. Let's get Hermione, I want to go to Brazil."

The Slytherin chuckled shaking her head; maybe this year would be much better. They walked to the house and she knocked on the door.

It didn't take long for a woman on her late thirties answer the door. She had curly dark hair, a little bit bushy, but not as much as Hermione's. The woman had a sweet smile on her face and Aquila immediately liked her.

"Hello dears, how can I help you?"

George smiled, "We're looking for Hermione, Mrs. Granger."

"You're one of Ron's brothers aren't you?" She asked him with a look of recognition in her eyes.

"Yes, I'm George Weasley and this is my friend Alex."

"Come on in, I'll get Hermione." Mrs. Granger said politely and left them in the living room.

Zabini or Black? George mouthed to her.

Doesn't matter. She'll be suspicious either way. Aquila mouthed back.

They heard people coming down the stairs and saw Hermione and Mrs. Granger going in their direction. Hermione saw both of them with her eyes narrowed, so she was suspicious already? The incident with Professor Moody must have taught her a lesson, Aquila thought. Good.

"Hi George, I wasn't expecting you." The Muggle-born witch spoke uneasy.

The redheaded boy smirked, "Well, it's not everyone who has the pleasure of being visited by the mighty George Weasley, but you're really lucky, you know? All this fans want to be on your place…"

"George, it's eight in the morning. Some people don't need to hear your voice this time in the morning." Aquila said annoyed.

"I don't mean to be rude, but who are you?" Hermione asked Aquila, who smiled before answering.

"Alexander Zabini, but call me Alex. If you do call me Alexander we're going to have a serious problems."

Aquila knew her twin; he was the easiest person for her to pretend to be. Except for, maybe, Aunt Lena, but she would never try that one, too dangerous; she shuddered at the thought of Milena finding out.

The Muggle-born narrowed her eyes, probably thinking of why George Weasley would be with a stranger in her house, so Alex continued, "You know Aquila, my twin, she was there in Death Chamber with you and the Order." The witch was about to raise her wand, but Aquila was faster and said, "I swear on my magic that we're not Death Eaters and that we're not here to harm you, Granger. Or your parents, by the way."

That certainly calmed the witch down, so she lowered her wand and hugged George again, this time tighter now that she knew that they weren't there to hurt her. After a couple of seconds, the witch let go and turned to Aquila.

"I've never seen you before, do you go to Hogwarts?" Hermione asked her politely.

Aquila smiled just like her brother would in this question, as if good memories were swimming through his mind. "No, I'm being homeschooled by my aunt. My sister does, though. She'll enter her seventh year in September."

That seemed to have caught the girl's interest, "Oh, really? Maybe I know her…"

"Aquila, you probably don't…"

"I know her!" That surprised Aquila.

"Wait, what? How?" She asked along with George, who seemed just as surprised.

Hermione shook her head, "I mean, I've never talked to her, but she's the top of her class. Even in Potions… Besides, she dropped a book a couple of weeks ago and I never got the chance to give it back to her…"

Aquila thought that it would be nice to use that as an excuse to start a conversation about taking her to Brazil. George seemed to think so too.

"Well, good thing is Harry is with Aquila right now and we came here to ask if you'd like to come too." The redheaded boy asked the younger witch.

Mrs. Granger looked at her daughter, "If you wish to go, you can, Hermione." Then she turned to the boys, in her eyes at least, "I want her back before ten and I want to know how many adults and teens will be there."

"Six adults and nine teens." Aquila answered calmly and grabbed a pen from her pocket. Yes, she carried them around too, just not as much as her brother. She wrote some telephones down and gave it to Mrs. Granger. "This is my aunt's telephone, the second one is my sister's and the third is mine."

"You have a telephone?" The bookworm inquired surprised.

"My aunt raised my sister and I in a way so we would know how to handle ourselves in the real world." She explained, Hermione was impressed, it seemed like she wasn't the only one who knew the importance of knowing things from both worlds. "So, do you want to have lunch with us?"

Hermione stopped for a second, then nodded, "Let me grab your sister's book." The girl ran upstairs and came back holding the book, "I never knew a Slytherin would read Jules Verne… But I have to admit 'Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea' is just great, but I still prefer 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth'…"

George groaned, "Please, leave this talk for when we get there? Alex, where's Crescent?"

"Outside, I didn't want them to freak out, you know? You're ready, Hermione?" Aquila asked and the girl nodded in response.

Bidding their goodbyes to Mrs. Granger, they went outside meeting a very bored panther in the porch. Hermione almost screamed, but George covered her mouth, "That's Crescent, by the way."

"And that's how we're going to my aunt's house."

"Just put her hand on her, she won't bite you." George added.

The witch did what she was told and the others did the same. In a blink of the eye, they disappeared.

Hermione almost didn't feel it, changing places; the panther- Crescent- certainly knew how to not make people sick, differently from anyone who Apparated.

The witch opened her eyes, all she could see was the ocean, and her feet were wet. She looked down, water came to her feet and went away; Hermione chuckled. The boy, Alex, was staring at her and George with amusement in his eyes.

The Muggle-born heard yells and laughter of people coming their way; she turned around expecting to see strangers and Harry Potter. But no, she saw Ginny, Ron, Fred, Harry, and wait, was that Malfoy?

A dog was running in her direction too, wait, Sirius? Hermione started laughing, she just couldn't stop laughing because she swore she saw Professor Snape shaking his head and pinching the bridge of his nose. This whole scene could only be a dream, that she was sure.

She turned around, where she expected Alex to be, there was only a girl with dark hair and the same grey eyes as the boy staring back at her. The girl was wearing the same clothes as Alex, which could only mean that, instead of talking with the boy about Aquila. She had been already talking with the girl.

"I was wearing man's clothes when I got to your house, I didn't want to explain why to your parents, so I morphed into my brother. Oh, there he is!" The girl said pointing to person running by Sirius's side. Yup, Aquila had done a pretty good job pretending to be her brother because Hermione hadn't suspected one a bit. "Thanks for taking care of my book, by the way."

Hermione nodded and ran towards her friends, but Sirius jumped on her first in his Animagus form and licked her hair, "Ew, Sirius! My hair was clean!"

The dog got off her and turned back into a man, "My tongue disagrees."

Alex- the real one- chuckled by her side, "He's joking" he said, and then turned to the man, "aren't you, Uncle?"

"Whatever makes her sleep well at night…"

Wait.

What?

Uncle?

"What?" The witch asked confused, "I thought you were a Zabini."

Alex threw his arm over his sister's shoulders- she had just caught up with them. "In all, but blood. The dog breath here is my uncle, though."

"I didn't know you had any brothers." Hermione told Sirius, who sighed.

"I do. I thought he was dead and I also didn't know about them until Aquila saved me from my lunatic cousin."

So that's how weird Hermione's day started; she couldn't even think of how the day would end.

So? Was it good, bad, okay…? Review!
