Right here is a new chapter, sorry it took so long I had writers block for a while :( so here is a new chapter for the start of a new year :P

"What the hell took you so long" Kanda yelled to Lavi as soon as the latter arrived
"It's not my fault, I got held up at the store" Lavi yelled back at him
"Held up by what exactly, unless you found anything related to akuma then I don't want to hear your lame excuses"
"I'll say it again it wasn't my fault, the old man there it was his fault"
"And how was it his fault exactly huh"
"He started talking about weird stuff like his glasses to something not being able to use a trumpet; I don't know he was talking to fast"
Lenalee zoned out the two arguing boys, and she was just sitting on a crate watching them, but her thoughts were somewhere else
I wonder what Allen is doing right now; I hope he's okay and not hurt. A frown came upon her face as her thoughts turned a little scary. What if he's gotten hurt , what if he's not eating or what if he's-what if he-he.
"Ahh… Lenalee are you alright?" Lenalee snapped out of her thoughts and she looked back at her two companions who were looking at her
"Ahh… yea-yes I'm fine, why do you ask" she said to them
"Well you look pale and your frowning, you're not sick are you?" asked Lavi
"Oh no, I was just thinking about something"
"Well I suggest you stop thinking about it if it its gonna make you feel ill, we can't have a hindrance in our mission" Kanda said coldly
But when Kanda looked to Lenalee he could see slight un-shed tears forming in her eyes, he inwardly panicked
"a-ah he's not talking about you directly, he means that it would be bad for us If an akuma attacks and you might get hurt, and neither of us want you to get hurt" Lavi said quickly
A sudden thought came into Kanda's head a faint knowing smirk came upon his face but it quickly disappeared
"You know if you keep continuing to think like that then it will do you no good" he said to Lenalee, both Lavi and Lenalee turned to him confused by what he said
"It will do you both know good If you keep thinking about, it would just serve as a distraction" he then turned around and started walking towards the main street. But after a few steps he stopped and said
"Any how I'm sure he's fine, that damn bean sprout doesn't know the meaning of giving up. That's another reason I hate him, it's his stubbornness" and with that he continued walking
Lenalee looked at him and a smile started to appear on her face
Kanda's right, I shouldn't think like that, Allen would never give up so I can't give up on him either she thought
Lenalee then started to follow Kanda; Lavi slowly followed as well a small smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth
Well what do you know I guess Yuu does have a soft side after all, good job for cheering her up
"Hurry up Rabbit or we'll leave you behind" Kanda's yelling broke him from his thoughts
"You won't, hey wait up" Lavi yelled back to him as he quickened his pace as he was falling behind
Lenalee giggled at their antics
Over the next couple of days, the trio had still found nothing in the town of akuma. The three exorcists had been called back to the order.
Whilst they the three were waiting for their train, Lenalee had went to buy some boxed lunches for them. As she was walking back to her two companions, among the crowd of ongoing people, she stopped and her eyes widened.
She turned around her grip on holding the box lunches faltered slightly, as she searched the crowd for a glimpse of whatever it was she saw
No way, it couldn't be she desperately thought
Out of nowhere a hand came on to her shoulder, and Lenalee jumped, she turned around and came face to face with Lavi
"Hey, calm down it's just me. Whats wrong you look like you've seen a ghost or something" he asked
Lenalee just looked at him slightly dazed, and mumbled something under her breath, which Lavi couldn't here
"Well anyways let's go back, Yuu's waiting for us, so let's not keep him waiting any longer" and then he started to walk back to the direction he came from, whilst tugging on Lenalee's arm
Lenalee just followed him, but not before glancing over her shoulder
