Chapter Ten Roller-coaster
Hunter's heart started to beat faster and faster as he started to run to go find Balto and Jenna, with the night sky and winter storm taking its place Hunter stopped running and watched for any sigh of life but nothing just the snow getting thicker and the night getting darker Hunter stopped running through the forest and howled for a signal.
Not too far from the sight Balto and Jenna heard the howl "That's Hunter something's not right," Balto said then he looked at Jenna. Jenna then looked into the direction of the howl. "It's about Aleu, "Jenna said Balto then sat up and ran outside. Hearing another howl he looked at Jenna again "We need to get out there," Balto said Jenna nodded then jump from the boat and followed Balto into the forest.
While Hunter sits in the snow storm he hears a reply howl coming his way. Hunter smiled as he heard the reply. He then ran back over to his cave, "Aleu there on their way," Hunter said in joy Aleu looked at Hunter and smile "That's great," Aleu said in a weak voice. Hunter got down to her level "Is there anything I can get you?" Hunter said in a soft tone Aleu looked at Hunter again and smile "You're all that I need," Aleu said then she licked the side of Hunter's muzzle.
Balto and Jenna rush through the forest with all there might through the hard falling snow. "I think we're getting closer," Balto said as he struggled to get through the snow. Jenna stayed a few feet behind him; Balto stopped and looked behind him seeing Jenna standing in the cold. Balto then walked back over to her.
Jenna looked at him "What if we don't find them?" Jenna asked Balto looked into her eyes "I know we will find our baby," Balto said then he licks the side of her muzzle and gives a smile Jenna smiles back knowing that he was right. Balto then gives out another howl to the forest hopping to get a replay.
Hunter hears the howl outside he then stood up and ran outside of his cave, with the storm still going Hunter looked around seeing no one in sight then he heard another howl on his right. Hunter then smiled then ran over to his right, Balto and Jenna sit side by side taking the storm's powerful winds "Its going to be alright Jenna he should be here anytime," Balto said softly Jenna looked at him in the eye and nodded,
Hunter then showed up out of nowhere. Balto looked at him "let's get you guys out of here," Hunter said Balto looked at Jenna and she nodded at him. Balto then Balto then helped Jenna up from the ground. Hunter then lead them to his Cave, about five minutes later they walked into Hunters cave. "It's nothing great but it's something," Hunter said with a smile.
Balto rolled his eyes but smiled, a smile of light came from the back of the cave. The group of three walked to the back of the cave, the three then saw laying down on her side keeping something warm by her stomach. Balto and Jenna stood there for a few seconds. Aleu then turned to her parents and smiles then looks at her new born pups.
"Aren't they great," Aleu said Balto moved forward seeing four puppy's in front of him. There were three boys and one girl. Jenna then walked forward to her daughter and seeing the puppies as well Jenna then started to cry. "Mom what wrong?" Aleu asked Jenna looked at her daughter and smile, Jenna then chuckled "Well I just can't believe you're the first to have my grandchildren," Jenna said Aleu smiled then she looked back at her kids.
"I told you they would turn out great," Balto added Aleu chuckled "I guess you were right," Aleu said Balto then took a step closer to see the pups better "Have you had name's for them?" Balto asked Aleu looked at her parents "Yeah I think so I'm going to name my little girl Sierra and the boys, Toby, Max, Jaxson," Aleu said Balto and Jenna smiled and started nuzzling at each other. Hunter walked over next to his mate and started nuzzling her.
"Oh mom," Aleu said Jenna looked at her "Yes honey," Jenna said Aleu then smiled "Next time could you tell me that giving birth is going to be a roller coaster ride," Aleu said everyone started to laughing. "Alright sweetheart I will," Jenna said with a smile Aleu smiled back at her. Aleu heard the word pass through head "I will…"
Alright guys I guess I lied well maybe not I decided to have Kodi come back in the next chapter and well sadly to say we're in the mid-last leg of this story we have eight chapters to go and this mid leg is going to be about Kodi for about two chapter's then the rest is for the main character Aleu and here is your hint for the next chapter and it takes on what Kodi is going to be doing so here you go "Change me"
