FALLING STARS AND RISING SUNS
Dean stopped breathing unable to believe this was happening to him and if he hurt Arandi he would never forgive himself.
He only stared in wonder as Arandi still surrounded by his fire smiled at him completely untouched.
Somehow he was able to flame on and not harm her at all and she was enjoying it.
Dean let out the breath that he was holding and leaned down to kiss her as the flames fell back.
"Damn you're hot." She giggled.
"So funny." He growled.
"Sizzling."
"Quit while you're ahead."
"Scorching."
"Is there any way too shut you up?"
"Only one." She smiled sexily.
Dean sighed and complied never since he had learned that he was a human torch did he think that he would be able to have sex with his flames blazing.
For once he could literally say it was the hottest thing ever

They lay entwined with each other staring up at the stars.
"So what do you think all this means? The sudden change in your powers and abilities?" Arandi asked.
"I think something huge is coming and the powers that be are preparing me." Dean replied.
"Why just you? You're not the only person in the world with powers?"
"I didn't say it would only be me. How do we know what is happening to other's out there. You know as well as I do that not every power kid presented himself to the Elders. How do we know if it not happening to all of us and you just don't feel it yet?"
"Do you always think so heavy?"
"Not when I think about you." Dean smiled kissing her silent. "It's all unicorns and rainbows with little puppies and kittens on silver lined clouds."
"That's so not me."
"Really?"
Arandi looked serious again. "Does it bother you that having powers makes us unable to have our own children?"
"Isn't it strange that we got our powers because of birth control pills and they keep births from happening to make another generation?"
"I never thought of if it like that?"
"Stick with me you'll be thinking heavy before you know it." Dean snickered.
"Oh I can't wait?" Arandi giggled.
"Me neither." Dean grinned rolling on top of her.

They hadn't planned on staying out all night but the sun was coming up before they knew it.
They dreaded heading home and wondered if they could convince everyone that they had left earlier that morning but then just decided to face the truth and get the crap over with.
They walked in to find everyone eating breakfast. Dean held Arandi's hand firmly.
"Morning." Castiel said smiling smugly. "Rough night."
Dean could feel the rush of heat in his cheeks and Arandi gripping his hand tighter.
"What?" Castiel asked. "You are both adults. What am I supposed to do ground you?"
"Well?" Sam asked on the edge of his seat his eyebrows disappearing into his hair.
"I flamed up just like I feared I would but nothing happened to her." Dean replied.
"How is that possible?" Gabriel asked around a mouthful of corn pops.
"I have no clue but it was the hottest thing ever." Dean grinned.
He got food thrown at him and booed for his corniness.

Dean flamed up on high keeping his thoughts clear. He had found a tree that was dead and was going to fall with the first strong wind. He wrapped his arms around it and in seconds the trees was crumbling into a great pile of ash.
The others stood around watching. He turned to Arandi and held his hand out to her and she came to him without hesitation and he wrapped his arms around her, she smiled at everyone without using her powers even a fraction she felt no heat.
"There has to be a reason." Sam said circling them. They had learned long ago that Dean couldn't burn Sam either and that Sam couldn't use any type of mind control on Dean. They had always thought that it had something to do with being siblings.
Castiel stepped up closer and instantly stepped back feeling the intense heat that Dean was radiating out.
Something significant was happening and he had a feeling they needed to figure it out soon.

Needless to say Dean and Arandi visited the hill often.
Dean was still afraid that he might accidently burn the house down so they felt safer on their hill.
Being with Arandi made him feel alive and as if he could take on anything that came his way.
He missed his mom and dad. Would be proud to introduce Arandi to them but he didn't dare put them in danger.
They lay together in another moment of afterglow still so young and unable to keep their hands and lips off each other. Dean was at the age where flipping over in bed made him horny so he was so very glad to have someone to help with that.
They both sat up in a rush when a bright light suddenly filled the sky. For a moment Dean thought it was another human torch but whatever it was roared across the sky and crashed to the earth with a loud reverberating explosion.
They dressed quickly and their phones were already buzzing from their siblings.
"We're fine Sam what happened?" Dean answered.
"I think it was a small asteroid and it looks like it may have hit part of the city."
"We need to find out if anyone needs help."
"Let's meet at the edge of town in three."
Dean and Arandi flew into the sky and sped to the city.
They all arrived at the same time and hovered over the affected area. The asteroid was about the size of a football field and Dean wondered what the asteroids considered large would look like. He would be fine with pictures thank you very much.
Sirens were blaring and people were screaming and walking around confused. Fires burned bright and Gabriel quickly absorbed the heat and whatever else the asteroid was giving off.
"Help my family is trapped in the house." A woman was running down the street frantically toward a fire truck. She pointed to a house on fire.
Dean started towards it.
"Dean you're going to be spotted." Castiel warned.
"I don't have a choice." Dean said as he headed to the fire. "Arandi you and the others patrol for others who might need help." He said caressing her face.
She nodded.
He did his best to stay hidden in the fire licking up high but he knew that he was going to have to absorb the fire to be able to stop it fast. He could hear the crying kids and their father begging for help from a window and he had to move fast.
He fired up and went into a fast swoop around the house over and over again taking the flames into his own. The fire was out in seconds but the man must have been in too much shock to notice and was trying desperately to get himself and two kids out through a second floor window that fell directly on a paved driveway.
Dean sucked in his breath when he realized that they were falling and could be killed. If he fired down they would see his face and Sam might not have time to clear their minds.
He couldn't let them die and firing down he swooped in and caught them setting them down quickly before they could get a good look at him.
A section of the house tumbled down and Dean instinctively put himself over the family as a shield. He gasped in pain as he was half pinned under a barrage of bricks and wood.
"Run!" He told the man fearing the rest was coming down on them when he heard creaking.
He began to fire up when he felt someone shifting the things off him. He feared that the man had not listened to him but instead Dean found himself face to face with the very fireman he had healed.
The man stared at him intently and then helped Dean to his feet.
He suddenly pulled Dean into a hug. "You are still an angel to me." The man whispered and let him go. "Go now I never saw you and I'll make sure that family believes they were just in shock."
Dean nodded and in a brief blink of an eye he was gone.

Dean groaned as Arandi fussed over a large gash on his shoulder.
"It's going to heal baby just calm down."
"Baby? Did you hit your head too?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
Dean grinned. "Yeah right here he pointed at his temple. I think I need lip therapy."
"I was thinking of my lips much lower." Arandi said slyly.
Dean let his head fall back and was instantly hard, pain forgotten.

Dean tossed and turned in his bed until he gave up and just got up to go watch TV in the living room even though he had a TV in his room.
He might as well grab a snack while he was up. He was surprised to find Sam awake.
"You to bro." He asked with a stretch and yawn.
"Yeah it's like I can't get my mind to shut down." Sam said.
"They cleared up the asteroid and the town was mostly spared. I think we did well."
"There is something nagging at me that I can't shake." Sam shrugged.
"Yeah well you're rubbing it off on me." Dean turned to head to the kitchen and stopped feeling an incredible wave of dizziness hit him hard.
"Dean what's wrong?" Sam was in front of him.
Dean's hands flew to his ears as a piercing shriek filled his mind and he crashed to his knees.
"Make it stop!" He yelled and could barely hear himself.
The sound only seemed to intensify. His eyes feeling as if they wanted to pop out of his head.
"Dean!" Arandi was beside him.
His body stiffened up and his eyes widened as a vision of destruction filled his mind. Hundreds of asteroids crashing to the earth making the one that hit the town look like a basketball in comparison.
The world being destroyed by the deadly space rocks.
"You can't save the world human." He heard in the center of his brain before his body gave out and he fell into waiting arms.
