Chapter 10: Awkward Road trip

"Come on guys! Get your lazy butts in the van!" A pink haired teen shouted as he stood next to the opened door of the van. All of the Dragon Slayers with their girlfriends were laughing while walking towards the vehicle they were supposed to ride.

"Hey, flamehead! Would you relax? We will get there okay…" A dark haired teenager said while walking with his girlfriend who was just looking at them both with a smile. "That's right, Juvia believes what Gray-sama is talking about…Where is Lucy anyways?"

"I don't know. Will you two just get in?" Natsu said not looking at the two anymore as he glanced at the others to make them walk faster. Soon enough, each of them were in the van and settled to go. Before Natsu stepped inside, he asked them to count down, "Okay guys, let's count off who are in the van, Ice princess?!"

"Present with Juvia!" Gray said raising his hand

"Metal face?!" Natsu shouted as he checked the paper

"Here! So as Levy…"

"Jellal and Erza?"

"Present." Natsu then looked at the two and marked the paper once again

"Loke?!"

"With Aries!"

"Lissana and Sting?"

"Here! Sup." Then the pinkette looked at everyone again, and then counted them, "Okay…you are ten? I'm the eleventh…Who's the twelfth?"

"Who's missing?" Natsu then looked at everyone as if looking at them would give him answers. After a split second, he remembered who, "Damn! It's Lucy!" As soon as he recalled, Natsu ran back inside and looked for the blonde best friend.

As Natsu was rampaging the house to find Lucy, the blonde suddenly popped out of nowhere and peeked at the door, "Hey guys?! Are we ready?"

"Lucy!" all unison shouting at her which made the blonde surprised. Lucy then stood awkwardly and asked, "Okay?! What did I do?! Why are you all shouting at me?"

"We didn't mean too…Sorry. But Natsu is looking for you inside. He almost missed you out by the way." Erza said as she sat up straight to be seen by the blonde.

"He what?"

"I said-"

"I get…" Lucy said cutting Erza off but the red haired didn't mind. They just stared at the blonde as she turns her back to them. Soon enough they were all wide eyed as they heard the blonde screamed out for the pink head's name, "NATSU!"

After ten minutes of scolding to the pink head, the van has finally moved on and started to journey towards the well known resort of Fiore. The resort is located in Bassia Town (A/N: I warned you!) where known beach resorts are built. The town is popular because of the beaches it had. Having white refined sand and crystal blue water with great waves for surfing.

The trip would last not more than 6 hours coming from Magnolia town. And within the six hour trip, two teenagers are feeling uncomfortable in their seat.

"Natsu? Why did you pick this seat? We should have taken the first row of seats." Lucy said as she tried to whisper angrily to the pink head next to her. "Then remind me next time to do that."

The van had three rows good for a group use. In a row, four people fit perfectly. Having this trip, Natsu and Lucy is seated in the middle row near the door. Lucy is seated to the right of Lissana having Sting in the left side. On the other hand, seated in the front row are Jellal and Erza with Loke and Aries. And in the back of the two best friends are, Gray and Juvia with Gajeel and Levy.

Without wonders, the blonde and the pink head were somehow left out by being seated near all lovers in the group. They have taken a seat where their view would always see a couple together cuddling.

Lucy being seated next to Lissana overhears the conversation of the short haired and the blonde teen. "Your hand is bigger than mine…" Lissana stated as she measures her hand to the blonde boy next to her. Then Sting closes their hands and said, "But they fit my hand perfectly."

"Haha, not only are hands, we are perfect as well for each other." Then Sting kisses Lissana in the lips while resting her head to his shoulder. Witnessing this, Lucy started to blush and looked away from the two and faced Natsu who gave the same look.

Meanwhile, while Lucy was overhearing Lissana and Sting, Natsu was eavesdropping Gray and Juvia who was just seated behind him.

"Gray-sama, when we get there lets go to the top hill." Juvia whispered as she wraps herself into Gray's body. "Why? You want the hot springs?" Gray replied as he looked at the blue haired girl around him. "Yeah…with everyone else."

"How about just the two of us…I miss being with you only." Gray then hid his face in the crook of Juvia's neck which earns him a giggle from his girlfriend. "Gray~ your being a pervert again…" With her statement, Gray looked at her and gave a wicked smile and said, "I will become a pervert when we are both at our rooms already"

Hearing Gray with that husky voice made Natsu shiver in disgust and tried to give him a dirty look. But to his surprise, as he looked at the two, he finds them both kissing like in Paris. And with that scene, he shifted his look and stared at Lucy having the same face as he was having.

As the two stared at each other having a red face, Lucy and Natsu moved their head and gazed at their front view. But to their surprise, Jellal and Erza were smooching while Loke and Aries were French kissing. Being in the situation they are in, the two screamed in frustration, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

With the scream of the two friends, all the couples in the van stopped whatever they were doing. They all looked at the two having their face with frustration and blush at the same time. Lucy hid her face with her trembling hands while Natsu pulled up his shirt to hide his disgusted look.

"S-so-sorry about us. D-do-don't mind us, okay?" Lucy said as she shook her head still hiding her face. Natsu then swayed his hands to them and signaled them to look away, "Just look away guys! Just don't mind us…Do whatever your doing!"

Everyone just laughed at the two as if seeing them act like they saw their parents having an intercourse. They all looked away and continued whatever they were doing, as suggested by Natsu.
