Chapter 10: Fire and Ice
After a long walk in the desert, the group made it to the Spirit Temple. It said in legends, that the Hero of Time came to this temple to awaken the Sage of Spirit and he had to fight the Twin Witches to awaken her. " So who is this supposed to be", said Dark Pit looking at the statue in front of the temple. "That is the Goddess of Sand. The Gerudo worship her for protection, this temple used to be a place where the Gerudo would come and pray or study. But as time went on it served as a base of operation for Ganondorf and his minions." When they entered, there were two directions. Darunia and Ruto took the one on the left while Dark Pit and Zelda took the one on the right. "So this angel, Pit, what is he like," asked Zelda. Dark Pit explained annoyingly, "He can be arrogant, naive, and annoying. One time he sang a song with Palutena about being upbeat, I swear to god that I wanted to kill something. But, he also kind and fill with courage and he not scared to take up a challenge." "Well there one thing you both have in common," said Zelda, "Oh? And what that," questioned Dark Pit sarcastically. "You both hate to see humans suffer." This woman, he thought, is not like Palutena or the other gods that control their armies and the soldiers respect their command. She see him as a friend who would let him do whatever he wants that is best for others. Dark Pit was glad that she thinks that and that Link of hers would be pretty pissed off if something happen to her so it would be best to keep her alive, besides, she seems to have a strong power within her and she good company. "Your very kind too," said Zelda "But you have an attitude problem." Dark Pit's face was turning red with anger and annoyance.
After a long walk in the temple, they enter into a room that looks like a throne room. They saw two witches at the end of the room. "Oh, look who it is Kotake." "Yes, Koume. It Princess Zelda of Hyrule and her little black angel." Dark Pit then asked, "Ok. And you are?" "Twinrova," Zelda gasped. "Ganondorf's surrogate mothers. Koume is the Sorceress of Fire and Kotake is the Sorceress of Ice. Together they are Twinrova, they are both extremely dangerous." "I'm surprise this black angel decided to follow a princess of light, since he a being of pure darkness," said Koume. "Yes, right now he is a disgrace to all dark beings. But maybe some discipline can straighten him out, said Kotake. Fire came out of Koume and headed straight toward the two, but they quickly dodged. Dark pit then fired one of his arrows but Kotake freezed it followed by Dark Pit getting hit with Koume's attack. "Farore's Wind," said Zelda and Dark Pit was teleported to her side. "Is there a way to beat them?" "Somewhere in this temple, there should be a shield that reflects light and magic called the Mirror Shield." One of the Three Sacred Treasures, thought Dark Pit. "We must retreat and find the shield, we'll worry about those two later." "Right." As they ran towards the exit, the witches headed straight towards them. "You won't get away!" Kotake fired her ice spell towards Zelda. Shit, thought Dark Pit and he ran towards Zelda, pushed her out of the way, and stopped the attack using his bow. But Kotake fired another spell towards him and without any time to act, the ice pinned his entire body to the floor. "Find the Mirror Shield", Dark Pit commanded. "But-" "Just go!" Zelda hesitated and then ran out of the room. Dark Pit struggled to break free but the two witches hovered above him.
Hey guys, sorry for this large delay. I had just started high school after my last post and it can be difficult and now I am going to be starting college soon, but I will finish this story. For those who are Kingdom Hearts Fans and like me are excited about Kingdom Hearts 3, I am created a new story. One that is darker, violent, and more anime action. Also, would the author of Kingdom Fairy Tail please continue the story I want to see Natsu fight Ansem.
