Wrong angel
Tsugaru blinked the enchantment slowly wearing off now that he was away from the caster. He didn't really know what to expect. For now he had been draped in what looked like a throne on top of five steps. The seat was cold and didn't feel the least bit comfortable. Not that it mattered it would all be over fairly soon.
He had been brought into the demon realm as a substitute for heaven's doll. Stupidly the archangels had handed him over without his suit. Tsugaru had already come in contact with the hazardous air. In front of him the upper demons celebrated just as he knew his fellow archangels would be doing the same.
Already he could feel the pain spike through him as he felt his feathers becoming corrupted one by one. "It is finally in our grasp!" Tsugaru said nothing. Maybe if they believed he was asleep they wouldn't try any commands just yet. "Why don't we confirm if it's really the doll?" The blond shuddered hearing the filth in the demon's tone.
"What if the legend is true? Do we want to risk it until we know what we're dealing with?" They were the same both the demons and the archangels.
"I say we do it!" Footsteps got closer clacking against what looked like a marble floor. "Wake up!" The command was given and he was left with no other choice but to obey. Opening his eyes, Tsugaru forced himself to look blankly at the demon as ugly as it was.
"It works. Stand up!" Tsugaru stood inhaling more of the toxic air. It was okay he could bear with it, the pain wasn't as intense yet. "Sit down." He did so waiting on his next order. "Stand up...Sit down...stand up!" The demons gave orders testing their new toy. "Look at him. Isn't it perfect?" One sharp finger stabbed underneath his chin forcing his head up. "The legends were made up stories made to scare little angels and demons. This is heaven's doll."
"Wait. He's shaking. The doll should be emotionless." One of the demons pushed the other one aside slapping him harshly across the face. His head snapped to the side slowly facing forward again. "Show me your wings." Tsugaru said nothing letting them stretch out behind him, from the corner of his eye he could see the sections that had already turned black. For the inexperienced angels they would choke and suffocate but for the ones that had been trained, their wings and body would turn black before turning to dust losing both their wings and life.
It was unknown how much time he had left, he already knew by the corrosion that it wouldn't be long. The demons gasped. "He's a fake." Tsugaru blinked in confusion. What was wrong? What had he done wrong?
"How do we know that? You've already said the legend is wrong." They were arguing over him.
"No one should be this obedient. I think it's the real thing."
"Then I'll test it." Tsugaru bit the inside of his cheek trying not to shudder. "Lets see just how far the doll does go. Put your wings away." Following the order he remained standing. "Good. Come with me." The demon grinned coldly striding through the hall. Tsugaru moved like a clockwork toy following after him not wanting to think about what would happen when they were alone.
The double doors slammed shut behind him. At least he only had one to deal with if he had to fight. Biting harder at his inner cheek more pain shot through him as the corrosion spread. "Through here." He could see the demon lick his lips striding through one of what looked like a maze of corridors. "Wait this room will do. Come here." The door opened, the blond hesitating momentarily before stepping over the threshold.

Shizuka shook herself exiting the portal. It was just like she remembered it. An overly decorated palace that looked tacky with its gold pillars and black marble floors. Checking Saika was firmly in its sheath, she ducked to the side hiding in the alcove. The portal was to the side of the main hall where the arch demons thought they were so powerful and immortal.
Just like the first leaders they were cruel, power hungry and too ambitious. Perhaps it would be better to end their miserable lives right here and now. No. That would draw attention and right now that wasn't what she needed.
They were having some sort of celebration making it easier for her to make the short distance to the throne. It looked like it was still the old one and considering the original demon that had sit in it had been a coward... Shizuka pressed her hands against the cold back, feeling the slight crack near the bottom the blonde pushed feeling the bottom slide out into the nothingness that was below.
It was all too easy. No one had survived to let the next generation know of the flaws in the design. She could still exploit them. Shimmying into the hole Shizuka felt her stomach lurch as she fell through darkness slamming into rock. Was it the second or fourth ledge? It was hard to remember since it had been so long ago. Missing the first ledge that jutted out, Shizuka reached for the second feeling her knees bash into the rock.
Hoping that the suit hadn't been damaged, the blonde pulled herself up feeling around for a gap. Luckily she had been right. Crawling on hands and knees Shizuka followed the path in complete darkness unable to see a damn thing. The distance was too long, the vein creatures wanting to show the rest of the demons their presence. With a grumble Shizuka sighed trudging forward feeling the rocks dig into the suit's material. "Damn it. This thing better hold." Already she was feeling the strain on her immortal body.

"There is no need to worry about her." Sakuraya spoke seriously without a hint of a smile.
"How can you say that?" Shitsuo bit back feeling the loneliness seep in. He had been left alone.
"Did you see that sword? Feel it's power? It's said that in the beginning two beings were created. Heaven's doll and demon's whore. You know about the first one, I don't have to explain the purpose of the latter. The demon's name was Saika and although she had more power than anyone she couldn't disobey anyone's orders. The demons kept her subdued using various methods." Shitsuo blinked seeing his master tremble slightly.
"The demon wanted to remain immortal and powerful without the fear of being treated like a toy. Its said that her body transformed into a sharp blade, her soul sealed within ready to take out those that had hurt her. I'm not sure how your mother got hold of that blade but its possible she had been taken over."
Shitsuo shook his head. His mother had seemed different but possessed by a demon? "Then I need to go after her." A delicate hand rested on his.
"No. Anyone that blade touches will become the same. Go home, Shitsuo. There is someone else that needs you more. Stand and go." Shitsuo stood turning away from his master and walking unwillingly toward the portal. "I will see you soon." With that he was engulfed by the liquid taken back into his own realm.

Tsugaru remained calm even as the bed sat ominously in front of him. The covers were an inky black, covering the four poster with similar curtains and what looked like a gargoyle engraved headboard. "Strip." The demon's voice was ice cold water against his ears.
Looking out of the corner of his eyes, he could see no weapons or anything to use. With no way out yet Tsugaru undid his obi letting it fall to the floor. The demon whistled seeing his exposed body. "What's that? Answer me?" Following the shaking finger, the blond stared at the bruise like patch on his belly.
"Corrosion. I can't breathe the air here." It would almost be over. The demon didn't like his answer rushing forward. There was no way to tell what its power was. There were no animal features so he wasn't dealing with anything tricky. Not to say he still couldn't be dangerous.
"What? So you are a fake." A clammy hand grabbed his wrist lifting him with ease. "We can still play before you die." Tsugaru smiled feeling the blood rush in his skull as he flew into the wall. Super strength. That was it. Staggering from the corrosion the blond tried to ignore it wanting to get his hands on the demon.
"I am the strongest demon you will ever meet." Tsugaru shrugged dangling in the grip, feet hovering high above the floor.
"No. I think you'll find that's my little brother." Placing his hand on the demon's skin he watched as the smug angry look faded turning into serene calmness. "Why don't you calm down?" The demon remained still looking at him with a curious expression. It wasn't long before the demon dropped him losing contact with his touch. Snatching up his obi, Tsugaru ran for the door bursting out into the corridor.
His lungs burned inhaling more of the deadly air, the blackened areas spreading to his thigh. "GET BACK HERE!" Fear shot through him seeing the demon hurry after him. Taking random turns the blond smashed into the wall knocked off balance and sent tumbling down the stairs. Trying to get up he could only see darkness, his eye sight had corroded leaving him blind.
"Hey! That's my friend. What are you doing to Tsu-chan?" Tsugaru recognized the voice. He felt himself being lifted. "Don't worry, I'll get you fixed up."
"...Too late... Almost gone." They were the last words he spoke the fowl air stealing his tongue. The bubbly demon only laughed.
"Silly, Tsu-chan. I'm a rabbit demon. I'm known for my speed. Hold on tight." Tight to what? His arms if they were still there found there way around the demon's neck. At least this one didn't want to kill him. "And away we go!"

Shitsuo trudged home miserably wondering what to do. Unfortunately he had a blank face playing his part. No one stopped him leaving him to reach his empty home in one piece without having to fake listening to a command.
Pushing open the door Shitsuo called out not getting a reply. Maybe he should just go to bed. No one would be there to wake him, no one would go with him on his trips to the human realm. From now on he would be by himself. Reaching the top of the stairs his eyes widened.
There was a bulge under the covers in Tsuki's bed a tuft of gold sticking out. "Tsuki?" At the end of the bed curled up and fast asleep was grey wolf. Where had his brother been to bring back a wolf or better yet why hadn't the animal tried to attack?
Stepping closer to the bed Shitsuo reached for the covers, the wolf opening its eyes to stare at him. "Tsuki. Wake up." He didn't trust the animal, its growls were slightly unnerving, the sharp white pointy teeth made him take a step back. "Tsukishima."
His youngest sibling blinked. "Shitsuo-nii, you're back. No one was here. Huh? Roppi-kun?" Shitsuo stared in shock as the angel who was afraid of everything climbed out of bed and hugged the wolf. That was when he noticed the darker pattern in the shape of an O with a long tail and ears on the wolf's neck. Realisation sank in, the blond taking a step back.
"...Tsuki, tell me you didn't bring a demon into heaven." Two pairs of red eyes looked back at him, the wolf snorting and looking away while Tsuki twiddled his thumbs looking sheepish.
"Roppi-kun is my friend. He was in trouble." It wasn't happening. Since Shizuo's secret had been discovered it was one problem after the other. "Please don't send him away, Shitsuo-nii. Roppi-kun change back." When Shitsuo looked again his little brother had his arms around a man that looked like the spitting image of Sakuraya except for the eyes and the cold aura.
"Let me guess, you're an Orihara? Another one of Shizuo's new brothers?" The demon nodded ears twitching. Shitsuo ran a hand through his hair. What was he supposed to do now? There was a demon in their home. "I'm going to lie down. All these new emotions are tiring." Trudging unsteadily to his own room Shitsuo collapsed on his bed.
