Chapter 9:

Normal Pov

October 31st, 1981

Severus Snape and his wife apperated outside the Fidelus charm. "Oh my gosh." She said, turning to Severus. His face was impassive as the both of them walked inside the boundaries. He tried not to think of what he already knew as they both entered the home. "The roof is gone-!"

"I know it is." Severus said, silencing her. She sighed, but knocked on the door.

"Don't knock." Severus said. He opened the door, and his wife immediately covered her mouth with a gasp. "Severus-!"

"I know." He said, silencing her. He grabbed her hand and pulled her into the house. They stepped over James Potter's body, sprawled across the hall. His wife squeaking softly as they went.

"It's alright. Just go up the stairs." He said. As they entered the living room, furniture was knocked over. Severus was paler and paler as they walked up the stairs.

"You asked him to spare her-!"

"I did. I begged, and I pleaded." He said. He had a grim look on his face as they reached the top of the stairs.

"Severus… If we get in there, and its what it looks like. I'm sorry." She said. When the reached the second floor, they could hear baby Harry bawling at the top of his lungs. He was crying and wailing, and they heard the sound of him trying to escape his crib. "In here." He said. The door was opened. There was no longer a ceiling, and the beams of light were hanging in midair.

Severus stood in the hall, gesturing for his wife to go first. "What? Why me?"

"Please." He pleaded with her. He wanted to prolong this moment as best as he could. He knew what he would find when he got in there, Lily's lifeless body sprawled on the floor. Her dead, and his efforts to hide the family and her gone to waste. He knew it, but he didn't want to see it yet.

"Alright." His wife said plainly. She walked into the room without him, looking around the room. She didn't gasp when she saw Lily Potter on the floor. Her long orange hair sprawled around her face. But she did grimace. She looked at Harry, not able to ignore him any longer.

He was a beautiful baby. His face was an expression of grief and sorrow as he cried for his dead mother on the floor. He was dressed in his pajama's, his blue eyes shining with the tears that were spilling down his face. She strode forward and reached into the crib, gripping Harry softly from under his arms. She lifted him up and held him against the chest, where he continued to cry into her chest softly.

"He didn't listen to you. Asking him this was your first mistake." She called out. "You know who, he dislikes you. I have no idea why, though." She said. Severus entered the room. He had known what he would see, but it didn't stop him from breaking down.

She looked away from him as he got down onto his knees next to Lily, and brought her eyes to Harry. "Your so pretty." She cooed, and wiped his face with her sleeve. Baby Harry stopped crying, all cried out after a minute. He then laid his head down against her chest, the tears now silent. She shifted him away so that he couldn't see his dead mother.

"It's okay little one. Your safe now. Don't cry." She cooed, and cuddled his warm body against hers. She jumped as Severus appeared behind her, wrapping his arms around her from behind.

"Done now?" She asked him. Harry looked up and smiled widely, making her grin.

"Yes… Thank you for coming with me." Severus said weakly. He hugged her tightly, trying to ignore Harry.

"It's alright… I know you always loved her first." She said with a frown. Harry patted her face with a smile. He had forgotten about the dead woman on the floor. Now that baby Harry thought about it, he couldn't understand why he had been crying in the first place.

"It's not like that." Severus said, stroking her waist. "Yes, we were best friends at Hogwarts. Until fifth year of course. And yes, I did love her. But it was the kind of love that didn't get the chance to blossom. My love for you is greater then anything." He said. She frowned, biting her lip. "I love you."

"And as do I. Now put down the baby. We have to get out of here." Severus said. He let go of his wife, but she took a shaking breath as he turned to get to the door.

"Wait." She said, turning around to face him. "Let's keep him." She said.

"What?" Severus said, stopping his tracks.

"You heard me. I don't want to leave him." She said, frowning. Harry reached up and patted her face. Severus frowned.

"Oh not this again-!"

"Yes this again! Severus, I want a baby." She said, shifting Harry into one arm so she could grip her hip with her other hand.

"And I… Can we not do this now?"

"Then when?" She asked. She strode forward and stood next to him. "I want a baby Severus. Why don't you?"

"I can't explain it."

"Try."

"Having a baby is a huge change. Your not ready for it."

"I am old enough!" She snarled. "Look at this face. Tell me you don't love it." She said, gesturing to Harry. Harry looked up into Severus's face. He bared his teeth at the baby, who flinched out of terror.

"Yes, nothing I like more then the baby face of my arch enemy-!"

"Oh come on Severus!" She snapped at him. She looked down at Harry, and back up at Severus. "I love him!"

"You've known him for five minutes!"

"I love him already!" She snapped, bringing Harry up to her chest. She held him tight. "Think about it Severus. We can love him and nurture him and have him grow up so nice and noble! Please! Please-!"

"No." Severus snapped at her. "Even if I did want a child, which I don't, I don't want that one." Severus said, snarling at Harry. "He's not our child-!"

"So?!"

"He's not our responsibility. We can't take him in! It's up to Dumbledore, who already has a plan for the child I bet!"

"But Severus-!"

"No, out of the question. It's not going to happen." Severus said. She glared at him. "Put the baby, down." He sneered.

"No." She snapped at him, narrowing her pretty eyes.

"What?" He snapped. He took out his wand. "Honey, put the baby down, or this has just become a matter of Wizarding Security and by law, I am allowed to stun you." He said. She took a look at the wand, and then another look at Harry's sparkling blue eyes.

She ran forward and smacked Severus across his cheek, laughing. "Can't catch me." She laughed as he hunched over. She made it to the door when he pointed his wand at her, and she froze. As she was falling, Severus strode forward and grabbed Harry from her grip. As she fell onto the ground, he dropped Harry in his crib. Without another look at Harry, Severus strode forward and pulled her to her feet. With another wave of his wand, Juliunna could move.

"You bastard-!"

"Too late." He snapped. He grabbed her around the waist and started pulling her to the stairs.

"But please. Wait." She said. She stopped him in the hall and wrapped her arms around his neck in a hug. "Just tell me Severus, that you may want children in the future. I still want a baby. And whether its yours or not, I'm getting one." She said. He pulled back from her, raising his eyebrow.

"Are you saying… That if I don't someday have a child with you, your going to have someone else's?"

"Yes." She said. Severus was reminded of the baby he was going to have in the future. The one he had held and temporarily cared for in his past. But he couldn't have children until the conceiving date of his son.

"Fine I want a child. But years from now. When I'm stable." He added, seeing that as a sensible excuse. "Yay!" She cheered, throwing herself against his chest in a tight hug. Just as the sound of a roaring motorcycle came into their hearing rage, Severus looked back up, a torn look on his face.

"Come on." She smiled. "Let's go home."

He looked down at her, a small smirk starting to reside at his lips. "So we shall." They both Disapparated, leaving behind no reason for anyone to believe they were there.

(A/N: So, yeah, I decided that all this age difference was coinciding with the possible chapters I can be writing. I had some good ideas, but the age difference is like a writers block. So what I'm going to do is go back and edit the chapters that concern Professor Snape's (Female) age. I wonder what her first name is going to be now. I've just called her Professor Snape, and I can't help but wonder if any of you guys are the tiniest bit curious. To be honest, I forgot about the element of surprise, but the idea I had back then is still in my head. I'm just going to save the namesake for when past Severus meets his future wife on his own terms, the one that's still his age. Well everyone, I've got a cover story for the age difference, but hey, if you want to see it, just stroll through the story.

I saw something today that reminded me of this. So I just went ahead and did this. Enjoy.)

Sometime in August, Year (I don't know!) - Age, everyone 23

"Severus." He felt a small tug on his shoulder. He turned to the side and smiled. "Hey, sweetheart. Are they ready?" He asked. She sat down beside him on the lavish beach towel. Lucius had spared no expense for his friends. Severus leaned down and brushed a lock of hair away from her eyes. She smirked.

"Lucius is lagging behind. I think he's afraid of the ocean now."

"And why would that be?" Severus asked. The both of them got closer as Severus brought his lips down onto hers, smirking softly against her lips.

She pulled away from him, smiling. "Oh, because I told him about the massive shark attacks in this area of beach." She said with a smile. She leaned closer grabbed his face softly, bringing his soft lips onto hers. But he was now distracted. She gripped his shoulders softly, pulling him closer.

"Wait," He murmured against her lips, leaning his forehead against hers. She smirked at him. "Yes?"

"Sharks? There's sharks near here?"

"Oh yes. I heard on the news yesterday that there are massive swarms of them all up and along the coast. But I'm sure that as long as we stick to the path-!"

"What?! There are swarms of sharks here and you want me to-!"

She climbed on top of him, pushing him flat on his back and brought her lip to his neck, lavishing him in pleasure.

"Oh… We can talk later." He said with a thick groan. He arched as she dug her fingers into the right side of his neck, making it vibrate as she slowly sucked the other side of his neck, his eyes widening and rolling into the top of his head. She lifted her right knee in between his legs and softly started to knead him. Grunting softly, he gripped her hips and pulled her fully on top of him.

"Heh. That's enough." She said gleefully. Severus pouted at her. "Please, just a little more. We aren't going to be getting any alone time out there. And its filled with sharks!" Severus whined. He reached up and grabbed her shoulders, softly trying to bring her lower.

"Severus, Bella, Lucius, and Cissy are unloading the truck!" She said, pointing her thumb towards the car. Lucius had a summer beach house and invited his three best friends, and Severus's girlfriend to come with him.

"I have a better idea." Severus said, smirking. He sat up and pressed his arms behind him, and she leaned forward, smiling.

"Really? What is it?"

"Let's just stay behind." Severus said with a small shrug. He leaned forward and kissed the side of her neck. He brought one arm up and gripped her right thigh softly. He gingerly brought it up and down her side.

"No." She giggled. Severus frowned.

"What?"

"I want to go out on the water with everyone else." She said, frowning. He frowned at her deeply. She smirked back.

"But please, I already know how this trip is going to go. Bella and Cissy are just going to hog you all day, I'm gonna be stuck hanging out with Lucius, and I'm not going to get all of you."

"What do you mean?" She said with a smile.

"I mean that their only going to cock block me-!"

"Severus!" She laughed, hitting his shoulder softly. He didn't laugh, instead just smirked nastily at her. "Come on, let's just go upstairs and frolic in the sheets for a few hours or so." He said with a smirk. She frowned, leaning back.

"Fine."

"Yes." He hissed. He grabbed the front of her shirt and pulled her forward, then smashed his lips to hers hard. She squeaked but her hands flew to his back. They were suddenly wrestling on the blanket, the both of them kissing and their tongues batting for dominance-!

"Ew!" Bellatrix cried out. Severus took his mouth off of his girlfriend's, and then turned to Bellatrix with a frown. "What?"

"Get a room!"

"Excellent idea. Let's do that now." Severus said. He gripped her hand and took her off towards the large house. "Hey! What happened to the boat trip?" Bellatrix asked. They both looked back to the truck, a smirk on their faces. Lucius was looking paler then usual as he and Narcissa started carrying the thin boat towards the water.

"Kayaking or sex?" Severus said aloud sarcastically. "Yeah, have fun guys." He said, and then pushed his girlfriend to go faster. "Come on, let's go." He whispered.

"Oh, real good Severus." Lucius said. "Their could be sharks in this water! And we're the only ones risking our limbs."

"It's worth it!" Severus shouted back.

Lucius, Narcissa, and Bellatrix walked into the house slowly. Severus was on the couch, watching TV. "Hey guys, how are you three doing-!"

He looked up, his mouth wide. Lucius, Narcissa, and Bellatrix were soaking wet, each a look of blank and terrified shock on their faces.

"What happened?" Severus asked.

"Our… Our boat was capsized." Lucius said weakly. He didn't move, his eyes staring ahead.

"It hit us from underneath, and we all were knocked over. And we were swimming underneath the canoe. I… I ducked down to see what it was. And… It was indeed a shark. It was huge. So huge. It was a monster! Like some kind of dinosaur or something." Lucius said. He was unable to speak.

"It was just sitting their in place. And its mouth was close. And when we all ducked down to check… It bared its mouth, as if it was smiling! Or smirking-!"

"If I reached out, I could touch it." Lucius said, flexing his fingers. "We almost died out there."

"Are you guys serious?" Severus said, his eyes widened in shock.

"No!" The three of them shouted, and they all burst into laughter.

Bellatrix and Narcissa flounced into the kitchen as Severus breathed a sign of relief, sitting down on the couch.

"No, but seriously, our boat was knocked over. I don't know what it was, but when we looked down, it was gone. We came up with the big monster story because, well, we saw a giant shadow like thing kind of deep into the water-!"

"Yeah I don't want to hear it." Severus snapped at him, not wanting to be told another stupid story. Lucius shrugged and sat down next to Severus.

"Why aren't you upstairs?"

"Because she fell asleep." Severus shrugged.

"During? Before. After?"

"After you idiot. We finished hours ago, did you guys really go deep into the ocean?" Severus asked. Lucius nodded.

"Yeah. We were like a mile out. A wave caught us and flew us like, so far out there." Lucius said. Severus nodded.

"Hmm, yeah, nice story." Severus said, making Lucius shake his head, smirking.

"Whatever." Severus said with a shrug, and Lucius left the room in search of the girls. Severus put both hands behind his head, smirking as he watched the TV.

Author's Note: Eh, I was bored and going to end it here, but I'm just going to add in the small Harry Potter and the Azkaban Part… Never mind, now I'm lazy and I want to watch Rio 2. I'll show you guys next chapter!
