Jennifer Parker woke up to a phone receiver's signal: "beep... beep..." It took her a while to realize exactly what had happened for her last day.

To begin with, she was still at Doc's garage. At first, she thought that perhaps the entire travel to the future scene was just a nightmare, but then she looked at herself and saw that she was still wearing the black dress from 2015.

Then, in another momentary lapse, she realized that she had left her old clothes at Tiffany's house. Since there was no way she was going back to the future to get them, this meant that she would have to wear this dress. She also thought about getting the glasses, but then realized from that photo that they framed her face badly and made her look ridiculous. She decided to keep the dog ears, though. She liked how fluffy they were, and she had a sliver of hope to establish a trend of wearing them by 2015. A trend that had already happened... well. She thus put them on, as they had fallen off while she was asleep, and looked around more.

She also noticed that it was very dark. It appeared that since she spent a whole day in the future, when it was midday in reality, her body still believed it was well past midnight, and therefore she had inadvertently fallen asleep. She could only hope that Doc had already noticed the note that was left behind, and was already taking precautions now.

Then, she took time to listen to what Doc was apparently saying to the phone. "Marty! Marty?" There was still no answer on the other end of the line, and Doc dropped the phone, saying: "Damn that kid!" He then went to his bookshelf, looking for a phone book, and then Jennifer realized what was actually going on. She was apparently reliving the moment when Doc couldn't get Marty, and decided to call her instead.

This meant, of course, that it was too late to change that part of history; Jennifer was already going to the future no matter what. But at least Marty should know.

As Doc was dialing the number, Jennifer ran out of his garage. He hadn't even noticed a dark shadow leave.

At first, Jennifer thought about running straight to Marty's house, but then she realized that this would have been a bad idea. Since it was 1 AM, a) nobody would have answered and b) she could be thought of as being really weird if someone did answer.

Therefore, she ran straight for her home. She was hoping to give Marty a call herself. Well, this plan was also not particularly thought out; he had already missed two calls from her on October 25th. But nevertheless, this was some sort of plan.

The distance from Doc's garage to her home was quite long, and by the time she reached home, she was already heavily breathing. Thus, she got to where the phone was, dialed Marty's number and waited.

The same sound had begun haunting her. Beep... beep... as if it was the only sound in the world, besides a heart pounding, heavy breathing and loud footsteps. Well, obviously it wasn't the only sound in the world, but she liked being poetic.

After what seemed like forever, Marty finally answered. "Doc?"

"Not really," Jennifer spoke back, "but yeah, you should go see Doc. Twin Pines Mall. Have you forgotten?"

"Uh... shit." Marty dropped the call, not even wondering how his girlfriend knew of such stuff - after all, such stuff was only between him and Doc - and Jennifer could only presume that he was now getting dressed and making his own run.

And this meant that Jennifer should really get moving herself.

She left the house once again and began running, not having fully recovered from the previous run.

Once she got to Twin Pines Mall, she saw what appeared to be a familiar sight, just from a different perspective. A Volkswagen Station Wagon was chasing after a modified DeLorean, which soon disappeared in a flash of light, while the truck with the terrorists crashed into the photo booth. Then, various other people had gotten from their beds from the loud crash and looked at what happened, and the terrorists, realizing that they might very well be caught, fleed the scene.

As the scene happened, Jennifer thought about running to where Doc was, but soon was met by Marty, who had also come along. "Uh, Jennifer... I hope you don't mind me asking, but what the hell are you wearing?" he asked, and Jennifer only briefly replied: "It's a long story."

Marty and Jennifer thus ran towards the direction of Doc's van. When they ended up here, they found Doc, shot but strangely not bleeding. Marty was shocked by the revelation and was about to begin crying, while Jennifer wanted to tell him something: "Um."

Just as she said that, Doc opened his eyes and sat up. Once he looked around, he noticed that two people had come to see him, and thus knew who had finally come. "Marty!" He greeted his friend and said: "No offense, but you just missed my greatest experiment!"

"What experiment? What was going on?" Marty was suddenly attacked by many questions at once, and decided that this would be a catch-all.

"I'll tell you some other day. Now, we need to get you and Jennifer home. You know that I'm alive, and that's that."

As he said that, though, there were the sonic booms that were already familiar to both Jennifer and the witnesses. That meant that the car was coming back from some other time. Doc had known that he had left the time circuits to read the date in 2015, and therefore an entire journey must have taken place out of his sight.

It was thus time to figure out what the hell was going on.

"I'll deal with this myself." Doc cryptically said and walked away, and thus Marty and Jennifer realized that they needed to part their ways.
