Healing
Mary looked up from the blanket of jewelry. The brown-haired, blue-eyed woman wasn't a 'full' physic. She had sometimes completely random flashes of people, places and things. Mostly though the flashes were related to the people in front of her and the jewelry.
Normally she sold any Demonic and Mystical jewelry to Tara. At least the blond woman knew who it was safe or unsafe for, unlike her. When she'd brought the blue amethyst a man'd given her last week Tara'd almost thrown a fit. The Kami/Vampire had said it could have killed her at any time she held it. Since the amethyst Demon liked her Tara had reluctantly agreed that she could keep it.
Said amethyst vibrated and thrummed against her throat as the man and dog walked up to her. 'Well, ain't that a strange sight. A guy my age with white-hair and a sword. Along with a black-furred dog. What could he want ? He doesn't look the type to buy jewelry, though that sword had to be expensive. Unless it was a gift from someone he knew, since he feels attached to it.'
As she stared at the almost white-eyes two images formed in her mind. First was a gigantic tower surrounded by an eerie, unnaturally bright-green light. The second was of a sword held by a huge, black-Demon being handed to a white-haired little-boy with Demon wings. Shook the images away to ask "Can I help you ?"
Startled as the dog started to sniff at the amethyst. The man shifted and ran a hand through his hair, "Yeah, George said he found a diamond yesterday and gave it to you. Do you still have it ? "
'George sent him to me ? George hasn't given me a diamond in a while.'
"He lied to you about that, I haven't had a diamond to sell to a shop in weeks. Sorry you came here for nothing. Oh, hi doggy."
The dog put a paw on top of the amethyst and licked her face. One more image filled her mind of people and Demons running away in terror. 'A Demon dog ? This guy can't be normal, yet he doesn't have much of a Demonic aura about him.'
Anger flashed across the tanned man's face, the guy'd just become yet another of George's victims. She didn't know what was up with that old man. George always seemed nice at first sight. Yet he scammed and lied at nearly every opportunity he got.
"Well, never mind then. Where'd you get that amethyst ? Lam doesn't act that way normally. I'm Dante by the way."
Mary smiled at Dante and Lam "Mary. I was given it by a man named Mac last week. Apparently the thing like's me or something."
She stared as Dante pulled out a strange pizza cutter that was covered in runes. "Yeah, I got that problem too. Least this thing is practical for something besides my work."
'Work and he has a Demonic dog with him ? Is he a Mystic ? Cause he can't be a Demon."
"Hmm, yeah I don't even know if this amethyst does anything."
Took it off and held it up for Dante to look at. The white-haired man took it from her, then looked it over. A few seconds later Dante stated " It's got a health and disease Demon trapped in it. Yeah, it doesn't really like me but apparently she's healing you from something."
'What ? I'm, I'm sick ? I can't be sick, I can't be. I'd know shouldn't I.'
The amethyst was handed back to her and she slipped it back on. That vibration turned into a spreading warmth as she said "But...but I'm not sick or anything. How could it heal me ?"
As she looked down at it, Lam whined and she saw Dante pause for a second before he replied. "I guess you are, at least it like's you enough to heal you. See you later, Mary."
"Yeah. Thanks for the help Dante, Lam."
Mary folded up the jewelry in the blanket, she was suddenly ready to go.
'I should get it checked out, even if she's healing me. I need to find out why.'
