AN: Part two of update. This is actually a very fun chapter to write. More so than the chapter before this?

Song: Abstract Nonsense by Neru feat. Kagamine Rin

Tsuna had been working on his homework with Mochida, asking for help from his upperclassman, when he noticed a kid standing on a branch on a tree just outside his window. He blinked, shocked and hoping that it was just his imagination, but the kid was still there.

"Mochida-san, do you see a child outside my window?" Tsuna asked suddenly, interrupting Mochida and his explanation.

He turned, expecting Tsuna to be joking, only to stare, dumbfounded, as he saw a kid standing on a branch in an outfit that reminded him too much of a cow.

"The cow kid?"

Had he not been really confused by this situation, he would've laughed at Mochida's description—it was accurate. "Yes, him."

After debating, Mochida had agreed to open the window and invite the child inside Tsuna's room. Tsuna didn't want anything bad to happen; even if he knew Hibari, he still didn't want the police to be coming around because a child died from falling from the tree.

"Do you want to come inside," Mochida asked in the sweetest, kindest voice he could muster.

Tsuna couldn't help but laugh as the child seemed horrified by Mochida; he had told him that asking him normally would be better, but Mochida hadn't listened. To save the child from Mochida's wrath, Tsuna then walked to his window and standing next to Mochida, said, "I think you should come inside."

He watched as the child slowly made his way to his windowsill, and decided that he should go get something for the child before asking any questions. Going down to the kitchen, Tsuna grabbed some candy and went back up to see the child resolutely ignoring (and avoiding) Mochida.

Tsuna bent down to be at eye-level with the child, and said, "Hello, there. My name is Tsunayoshi Sawada, but you can call me Tsuna. What's your name?" He hoped that he sounded nice enough because he didn't want this child to fear (or hate) him.

"Lambo Bovino," the child said, suddenly loud and brash. Lambo then explained that he was the heir to the Bovino Family (and Tsuna mentally cried because while Lambo seemed to be a normal child, he didn't want more Mafia here.)

"It's my job to assassinate Reborn!"

Tsuna stared at Lambo, wide-eyed. "I-I don't think that's a good idea…"

Mochida commented too. "What the hell are your parents teaching you?"

Tsuna felt exasperated; Mochida had been listening, and hadn't thought Lambo stating that he was the heir of a Mafia Famiglia was weird, but the idea of assassinating someone else was. (Not that the latter wasn't weird…)

"But I have to!"

Tsuna didn't want to know why because he knew he wouldn't like the answer, but he asked. "Why do you need to do this?"

Lambo's bright and cheerful expression suddenly darkened, and he replied, "Because they took momma."

He felt sick, but Tsuna couldn't explain why. "What do you mean they took your mother?"

"Momma's gone! They said I get her if I kill Reborn!" Lambo seemed on the verge of tears as he said this.

Tsuna couldn't help but wonder if Lambo knew that it would near impossible for him to win against Reborn, since he was the World's Greatest Hitman. Even then, he couldn't stop himself from saying, "I'm sure you can get her back."

Lambo looked up at Tsuna, eyes shining. "I'll do it!"

In hopes of a distraction, he pulled out some candy and offered it to Lambo. "Why don't you stay and eat some candy?"

Mochida jumped in at that, adding, "They're really good."

Tsuna knew that Mochida wasn't particularly fond of children, and this child especially, but Tsuna also knew that Mochida wouldn't want this child to attempt murder. (He was glad that the other had picked up on his distraction tactic, and offered help.)

Mochida and Tsuna hadn't gotten anything done that night, but he was pleased to note that Lambo hadn't gone out to find Reborn, only declaring that he would kill him when they had met.

He had introduced Lambo to I-Pin, who was also living with them, and the two didn't seem to get along so well at first. By the end of dinner, which he also used to introduce Lambo to his mother, the two were acting as if they knew each other for a long time, and even playing.

Ietsuna hadn't cared about Lambo, even staring at him as if he was someone beneath him (and knowing his brother, Ietsuna also believed that), but Tsuna was glad that his brother hadn't attacked or insulted Lambo. It seemed as if Lambo also didn't care about Ietsuna, instead attaching himself to Tsuna.

Lambo had insisted on bathing with Tsuna, and he indulged. He didn't understand why Lambo insisted on that, as he thought that the other would've wanted to bathe by himself, but Tsuna took it as a quirk. Even when Lambo had squeezed himself into Tsuna's bed, he didn't think anything was wrong.

It wasn't until the next day, when he found that Lambo had followed him to school, that Tsuna started to become concerned. Lambo had appeared when he was eating lunch with Hibari, a rarity, and Mochida; they were busy ignoring each other.

"Lambo, why are you here?"

'And please, please, please, Hibari-san, don't hurt him.'

Lambo didn't say anything, instead literally attaching himself to Tsuna's body.

Hibari had looked in his direction when he heard him talk to someone. "Children aren't allowed on campus."

Tsuna laughed nervously, trying to convince Lambo to leave as soon as possible, and Hibari looked angrier and angrier the longer Lambo stayed on campus.

Mochida, on the other hand, hadn't said anything, and was promptly ignoring the stupidity in front of him.

"Lambo, please leave. I promise I'll play with you as soon as I come home."

"No! I want to stay with Tsuna-nii!"

He was taken aback. That was the first time someone had referred to him (Dame-Tsuna) as their older brother, and he was touched. But he couldn't really feel all that touched at the moment because he could feel the murderous intent.

"H-Hibari-san, I promise that I'll get him to go home." Turning to Lambo, Tsuna said, "I'm sorry, but you can't. But I'll spend time with you once I'm home."

Perhaps Lambo had sensed that Hibari wasn't pleased with him or he wanted to make his older brother proud, but he left without complaint that time. And Tsuna was pleased (mostly because Hibari seemed to calm down after that.)
