Hey y'all sorry it's been a bit. Here is the rule change for the Jeffersons! I hope you like it! I must deeply apologize for any spelling and grammar mistakes, they were not my intention.

Esme's POV

Today was rule change and I was going to bring some fun to this house. When it was time for the rule change ceremony I walked into the living room and saw that everyone was already there. I smiled as I stood in front of them. I decided to go ahead and start.

"Alright Jefferson family, I have lived by your rules and now it is my turn. First rule is this, kids you can drop whatever activities you like."

"Really?"

"Yes Josh any activities."

"Thank you Esme."

"No problem kids. Now for the next rule is this I will be taking over the chores and cooking and everything. Kids I expect you to relax and do homework when you get home and also you may have friends over and date who you want."

"Now Esme, I will agree with the other rules but not the dating one."

"Sam they are teenagers they need to be able to live a little. Besides both of them are responsible, you trust them don't you?"

"Of course I trust my children."

"Then trust them to make good choices."

"Alright fine."

"Thank you daddy."

"Next rule, no more dress code and you can decorate your rooms anyway you want, with no drastic messures, deal?"

"Deal."

"Yes deal defintely."

"Good, now tomorrow after school, if you don't have activities, we will go shopping for some new clothes. Next rule we will not be eating the same thing we will be eating something different every night and last one is this Sam you will spend more time with your children."

I looked out to the family, the kids looked really excited and Sam looked surprisingly okay with rule changes. I went and sat down next to the kids so I could ask them a question or two.

"Ok kids, I want you to write down every activity that you want to drop on one piece of paper. On another piece I want you to write down everything that you want to do to your room, beside paint it, I think that might be a bit much. Lastly I want you to write down on another piece of paper what you would like for dinner during rule change ok?"

"Alright Esme thank you so much!"

"No problem you two, now go ahead and get started on those lists."

The two kids hurried upstairs to write down their lists as I turned toward Sam.

"So Sam what did you think of the rule changes?"

"I liked them, really I did. Though I don't like to think of my kids dating."

"Eh, you'll get used to it."

"Really? How are you used to it?"

"Simple I have only two single kids, the youngest and oldest, Nessie and Jake. The others all are dating."

"Really? What do you think of their partners?"

"I like them."

I decided not to mention that the kids were dating each other. I stood up, "stretched" my arms, and turned toward him.

"Well I'm going to start doing a bit of cleaning, before the kids come down with their lists. I shall see you at dinner Sam."

I walked into the laundry room and started to wash clothes, when they were in the washer I headed into the kitchen to wipe down the counters. Right when I finished the children came into the kitchen with their lists.

"Esme we have our lists made."

"Alright perfect, let's see it then, shall we."

They put their lists down on the counter and I looked over the six pages silently. I pointed to a couple of words on Kate's food list.

"I can make that for dinner tonight."

"Really?"

"Yep, so tonight we are having pene pasta with alfredo sauce."

"Thank you Esme."

"You're welcome sweetie. What do you think of that for dinner Josh?"

"I like it."

"Perfect, now go ahead and relax."

"Are you sure you don't want help?"

"I'm sure."

"Alright."

The two kids headed into the living room and sat down on the couch to talk while I began to prepare dinner. I was just finishing up when I called everyone in for dinner. They entered the dinning room and I put the food down on the table and sat down across from Sam. We enjoyed dinner with the children laughing and talking with their father. I smiled as I watched the scene in front of me thinking of my own family and what must be happening over there. I hope that Annie hasn't been driven mad or hasn't angered my family. I hope she hasn't made any stupid mistakes either, like calling Bella, Isabella or taking away Edward's music. Well I will find out at the end of the week.
