Z2010Deadmeat:

Yeah, I'm probably not going to have the Nordbergian overlord's mistresses make an appearance. Maybe a reference or something, but probably not more than that. As for your second suggestion, well, let's just say that great minds think alike and leave it at that for now.

doctor huh:

First of all, the order of Light warriors that the overlord's dealt with have been low rank, pretty much the lowest two ranks, since they don't really see Noir as a big enough threat to send their big guns in just yet. Now, after looking up what the heck a 'Mary Sue' is, I feel that it isn't the…right phrase, since, according to the description, it has to do with self-inserts. My one rule is that I will never, EVER do a self-insert because if I was in any of my stories, I'd die faster than nameless crewman #6 on a Star Trek away mission. That being said, I get what you mean by him being overpowered, but you need to consider a few things. He's only gone up against beings that either are or are beaten by more-or-less normal humans, while he has powers from multiple dimensions, putting him a couple steps higher on the food chain than most of the ones he's faced. Also, as it gets suggested in this chapter, there are ways beyond a straight out fight that he can be taken down.

Chapter 10:

Getting Some Green Thumbs

After Noir gathered up a small force, he headed to the location that Gnarl told him about, Everlight Jungle, home of the elves. He came out of the Netherworld portal and headed down the path with his browns, reds, and brawlers following behind him. Unfortunately, they couldn't even enter the jungle because they found large vines blocked their path. Noir ordered his brawlers to search for another way inside the vast jungle.

After waiting for about twenty minutes, the brawlers returned to their master, who asked, "Well? Did you find another way in?"

One of the brawlers shook its head and Noir sighed, "Well, there's more than one way to skin an elf. Reds!" The red minions moved forward at their master's command, hopping up and down and giggling in excitement. "Burn it!" Noir ordered and the reds started lobbing fireballs at the vines, yelling things like "Burn!" and "Feel the burn!"

The reds' fireballs, much to Noir's dismay, caused no damage to the vines. Then, Noir tried to cut them or even rip them apart with his bare hands to no avail.

"Shit," Noir muttered before speaking to Gnarl, "Gnarl, any ideas on how to get through?"

"Hmm, I'm afraid not, master. It appears that the elves used their accursed light magic to strengthen the vines so that they can't be burned or cut. So, you have to find some way to make them move in some other way."

Noir thought about it for a few seconds before an idea hit him, "What I need," he muttered, "is someone that can speak the vines' language."

"Master?" Gnarl asked confused.

"Don't worry about it, Gnarl. I'm just going to have to get some 'green fingers' to help me out. I'll be back with the help before long," Noir said before opening a portal to his next destination: a few yards from the entrance of Amusement Mile in Arkham City. Noir walked towards the two clown guards at the gate, who pointed their assault rifles at him, while Noir's forces kept themselves hidden.

"Hold it right there, freak!" one of the guards ordered, "Who are ya!? Whatta ya want!?"

Noir, not worried in the slightest by their weapons, said, "Tell Harley Quinn that I have a cure for the Joker and if she wants it, she'll have to come meet me on the roof of the Olympus! Tell her to come alone!"

"How about we just kill you now and take it from your corpse!?" the guard asked before he and the other guard opened fire on Noir, who merely sighed and started walking away, since the bullets weren't even armor-piercing rounds, so they couldn't hurt him in the slightest.

Gathering strength in his legs, Noir leapt high into the air and, using leaps, made his way to the Olympus where he sat and waited on the roof after ordering his minions and brawlers to hide. It took about an hour before the Joker's girlfriend to show up, climbing up a ladder to reach the roof.

"So, you's the guy with the cure?" she asked, crossing her arms.

"I'm the one who asked you here, yes," Noir said, "But I'm afraid you won't be getting the cure for what the Joker has."

"My boys say otherwise," she said before laser sights appeared on the overlord's armored chest.

Noir looked up to see snipers aiming at him and he looked around to see that there were snipers all around him.

"Impressive," Noir said, "You managed to get them in place without my noticing. Tell me, has Batman arrived in Arkham City yet?"

The clown villainess smiled confidently, "Nope, there's no chance that Bats is going to come to your rescue, so why don't ya just hand it over?"

"For two reasons, one: I lied. I don't have the cure and even if I did, I wouldn't give it to you or the Joker."

"Oh, that was a big mistake, big boy," Harley said, drawing a large pistol to point it at Noir.

"You should probably hear the second reason," Noir said, which Harley rolled her eyes and gestured for him to continue, "I'm not the one that Batman will be needing to rescue."

With that, he snapped his fingers, making the minions and brawlers come out of hiding. The brawlers leapt at the snipers, while one of the browns knocked the gun out of Harley's hands. Noir kept his eyes on Harley as the screams of pain and death coming from the snipers reached his ears. Once they were dead, the brawlers rejoined their master, blood dripping from their jaws.

"Now, then, Ms. Quinn, if you're done with these pathetic attempts to kill me, we can get to the reason that I asked you here," Noir said, moving closer to her, "I need your help getting to a certain botanist friend of yours."

"What do you want with Red?" she asked, nervous at the creatures surrounding her.

"That isn't your concern," Noir said, "I just need your assistance in getting to her and so I can ensure that you don't really try to play me," he started before hitting her with the evil presence spell.

The spell's magical tendrils made their way into Quinn's deepest recesses, worming their ways into her mind. Her devotion to the Joker, her dear Mr. J, was eradicated and directed to the large man. When Noir saw her staring at him in awe, he knew the spell had reached its conclusion.

"Well, Harley, you going help me out now?" Noir asked.

"You bet'cha!" she said skipping to him to grab his arm and pull him after her.

Noir pulled his arm out of her grasp and picked her up bridal style before leaping in the direction of Poison Ivy's hideout with the minions riding on the brawlers as they leapt after him. Noir couldn't help, but notice Harley snuggling against him as he leapt through the air. Eventually finding himself outside a building covered with vines and guarded by men from multiple gangs, obviously affected by Ivy's pheromones, Noir sent the infected to deal with them. The brawlers made quick work of the enthralled guards. With Noir and Harley walking side-by-side, they made their way into the hideout.

"Who comes into my home? Harley, is that you?" asked the plant-human hybrid, who was sitting in a laid-back position with her legs crossed seductively. Noir, however, was finding his mind was getting fuzzy from the pheromones and it was getting hard to focus.

"Hey, Red, this big guy needs your help with sumthin'!" Harley said, unaffected by the pheromones.

"I told you before, Harls, I refuse to help that man at all. Tell the Joker to find someone else," Ivy said.

Realizing that he needed to get this over with quickly, Noir said, "I don't have time for this," before blasting the former botanist with the evil presence spell. Once she was knelt before the overlord, staring at him with star-struck awe, Noir spoke again, "How about now?"

"Yes," she moaned, "God, yes, I will!"

"Good," Noir said, smirking as he opened up a portal, "Now, you two coming?"

"Yes, master!" the two new mistresses said, as they followed their new master throw the portal, followed by the minions and brawlers.

Coming back out once more just outside the Everlight Jungle, Noir commanded, "Ivy, mind opening the way?"

"Not at all, love," she said walking past him, sliding her finger down his arm as she past. She gently placed her hand on the vines and murmured, "What do you say, babies? Will you move out of the way for mommy?"

The vines didn't do anything for a second, but after a few moments, they began to squirm and moved off of the path to clear the way for the overlord's group. The group entered the jungle, the humid heat almost instantly became suffocating. Noir could hear something moving in the trees, but since it didn't make itself known, Noir just ignored it.

"So, puddin', what are we here for?" Harley asked, still skipping along besides them, while Ivy strutted with an obvious sway in her hips.

"The green minions. They are short, bipedal imp-like creatures that look like these ones," Noir said gesturing to the browns and reds, "Just green, obviously."

"Are there any enemies we need to worry about?" Ivy asked.

"Probably just elves and any wildlife," Noir said, "Though I'm not certain why the elves haven't made themselves known yet."

"So, you willingly intruded into our territory, Dark One!?" a voice called from the shadows of the jungle, "You will soon find that was big mistake!"

"Tell you what, loser, you tell me where to find the green minion hive and I won't turn you and all of your allies into fertilizer for this jungle of yours!" Noir demanded, which turned out to be just what the elves were waiting for him to say, as they dropped from the canopy to surround them.

The elves attacked the dark forces, who retaliated. The brawlers tore into the elven defenders, while Ivy used her powers to cause the vines to rip them apart. Harley used her acrobatic skill to easily dodge any of the attacks the elves sent her way. She somersaulted over to one of the elves and wrapped her legs around his head to twist him and send him crashing to the ground before snapping his neck like a twig. She grabbed his sword and slashed open one of the elves' throats. Noir used his strength to smash their skulls and throw them like rag dolls, while the minions protected their master from any of the elves that attempted to flank him. The small elven force didn't last long against the dark forces. When the last of the elves fell to the overlord's forces, he looked around to try and find a path.

Finding one, Noir said, "That way. Let's move."

The two girls followed quickly after him, each wrapping their arms around one of his and resting their heads on his shoulders with the minions and the brawlers bringing up the rear. They suddenly stopped when Noir caught a whiff of something very foul smelling.

"Pew! What is that smell!? Smells like Two-Face's burnt side after he gets all sweaty!" Harley said, holding her nose closed.

"I agree with Harls. That's perhaps the foulest smell I've ever had the displeasure of smelling," Ivy said, "No plants in our home dimension make a smell that grotesque."

"Which means that's the way we need to go," Noir said, heading towards the way of the smell, "Greens are attracted to wooded areas and bad smells, meaning that's the best way to got in hopes of finding them."

Neither of the new mistresses looked too pleased by this, but didn't complain and followed their master. The elves attacked them again not long after that. This time, they attempted to attack using a combination of swordsmen and poison bomb-throwers.

"Shit!" Noir exclaimed as he pushed the two women with him out of the way a mere seconds before it hit Noir square in the face. The acidic poison blinded Noir and its fumes burned his throat, making him hack and cough as his lungs burned. He knew the healing factor that he stole from Daken would heal any damage, but it still incapacitated him long enough that the elves could move in.

"No!" Harley yelled, as she rushed to his aid, using her agility and acrobatic skills to keep the elves off-balance while Ivy used her "babies" to hang the bomb-throwers or knock them off their perches, which brawlers destroyed the perches entirely.

Even after the bomb-throwers died and Noir began to recover, the elves still numbered enough to surround them. It looked like they were still going to have to fight before Noir heard something that made him smile.

"Stab! Stab!" a voice called from the shadows of the trees and the elves suddenly found themselves being ambushed by green minions. The greens stabbed the elves in the back and slashing their throats.

The elves were thrown into chaos at the involvement of the greens. The dark forces of the overlord quickly slaughtered the remaining elves. Once they did so and grabbed the lifeforce left behind, Noir turned to the greens, who were hopping around with excitement at finding their overlord.

"Follow! Follow!" the greens yelled before running into the woods.

Noir, Ivy, Harley, and the remaining minions and brawlers followed after them. As they continued, the jungle got darker and darker as they made their way deeper into the jungle. Eventually they reached a place that no sunlight reached the floor, glowing mushrooms were everywhere, and vines hung low from canopy. The entire area was packed with the green minions, all cheering at the arrival of their new dark master. Noir, however, noticed that there was one key item that was missing.

"Where's the green minion hive?" he asked.

One of the minions answered, "Elves take hive! Bring to elf home! Greens show you!"

With that, the greens ran into the trees, though not fast enough that the overlord lost sight of them. The minions led them through the jungle until they reached a large valley. There was a small village with a large amphitheater in the center of it.

"Hive there! Hive there!" the minion chanted, pointing towards the amphitheater.

Noir looked to his followers and said, "Let's move it. I want that hive before the day is out."

The group hurryingly made its way down into the village. As they got close, the group could hear what sounded like a crowd cheering. Once inside the village, they found it completely abandoned. They kept going until they made their way through the entrance of the amphitheater, which as it turned out was more of a coliseum…and they were on the ground floor.

"And here is the overlord, the so-called 'lord of all evil,' here to try and take our beloved jungle for his own and enslave us just like the ones that came before. It is just as I said!" an elf shouted from a balcony, making the crowd boo the overlord.

"Ooo, an elf that likes the sound of his own voice. Now, that's a rarity!" Gnarl said sarcastically via the link to Noir's helmet, "And he's not a "so-called" anything! He is the lord of all evil, you accursed elf! Please tell me you're actually going to smite this insect, sire!"

"Oh, I fully intend to, Gnarl," Noir said.

The obvious elven leader continued his anti-overlord tirade, "Will we let him do as he pleases!?"

"No!" the crowd answered.

"Well we let him just do whatever he wants!? Let him continue his path of devastation and enslavement!? Let him continue desecrating our beloved jungle!?"

"No!" the crowed answered again.

"And what should we do with him!?"

"Kill! Kill! Kill!" the crowd began to chant.

"Okay, these elves are a little different from the ones the witch boy fought," Noir said to himself as he drew his mace and walked forward to address the elf leader, "You gonna talk all day or are you actually gonna try something!?"

Ignoring Noir, the elf king shouted, "Let's see how strong he is without his followers and sluts!" before magic circles appeared beneath each of Noir's followers, creating a force field around them. They each tried to break through the force fields, but not even the brawlers could get through the magical barriers.

Noir grunted in annoyance as he saw that he was alone, but what really annoyed him was that the elf leader actually thought that he was so weak that he couldn't handle whatever the pointy-eared punk sent his way.

"Where's my green minion hive, you pompous elven ass?!" Noir demanded.

"Oh, you mean this?" he asked, opening the curtain that was behind him to expose the green minion hive, "If you want it, you're going to have to survive if you want it!"

"Survive what!?" Noir asked, getting a really bad feeling.

"Funny you should ask!" the elf said before some doors on the other side of the arena opened up and out waddled a pair of trolls.

"Great, trolls. I hate trolls," Noir muttered before he charged at the two tubs of lard.

He delivered a strong punch to one of the trolls' guts, making it double over, then he delivered a sharp upward swipe with his mace, hitting the troll in its chin and knocking it off its feet. The other troll slammed its fist onto Noir's head, but he blocked it by crossing his arms over his head. The ground cracked under the force of the hit. The troll followed up with a hit to Noir's torso, sending him flying back. When he got back to his feet, Noir saw that the first troll had done so as well.

"Time to finish this," Noir muttered as he activated the power he'd stolen from Shao Khan and summoned the wrath hammer, "It's hammer time, bitches," he muttered as he charged at the trolls preparing to swing his mace with his right hand and the wrath hammer with the left.

When he got in range, he leapt into the air and slammed the weapons onto one of the trolls' heads, crushing it. Then, Noir kicked off of the now-dead troll's chest and hit the remaining troll with a sideways swipe to hit the troll in the gut, sending it flying back into the wall beneath the elf lord's balcony.

The damage caused cracks in the wall to spread and the balcony crumbled and crushed the troll, sending the elf lord and the hive falling to the ground. The elf lord landed at Noir's feet, who was smirking down at him. The elf looked up at the overlord in horror, though only for a second as his face was smashed in by the overlord's mace, killing him instantly. With his death, the magic sustaining the circles containing Noir's allies ended and they returned to his side. Gnarl brought up a portal and Noir had the reds and the greens take the new hive through. After that, he summoned up a large group of brawlers, flyers, and juggernauts.

"Sic 'em, boys!" Noir commanded the Blacklight creatures, pointing at the crowd.

The creatures leapt and flew into the crowd to begin slaughtering the townspeople, a sight that Noir greatly enjoyed. He sat down to enjoy watching the slaughter with Ivy and Harley, who sat on either side of him.

"Was it really necessary to send them to slaughter the townspeople?" Harley asked, her voice saying that she was just curious and not actually upset at the death of the innocent townspeople.

"Necessary? No, but it is quite entertaining," Noir said, watching as some elven soldiers tried to attack Noir and his two new mistresses, but were cut down by a brawler before they even got close.

Both of the girls nodded in agreement as they snuggled closer to their master and, they hoped, soon-to-be lover. Ivy was the one that decided to make the first move.

"You know, darling, all of this slaughter and the screams are kind of turning me on," she said, pressing her breasts against Noir's chest.

"Does it now?" Noir asked in amusement as Ivy slipped his helmet off, much to a certain perverted minion master's disappointment at not being able to watch through Noir's helmet.

"Oh, yes, it does," Ivy said before pressing her lips to Noir's, their tongues wrestling for dominance.

Noir gently groped her right breast, making her moan into Noir's mouth. He, then, slid his hand down her body, making her shudder at the feeling of his cold armor against her bare skin, before slipping his hand into her thong and inserting his fingers into her moistening womanhood. The pleasure was too much and she couldn't help but separate her lips from Noir's so that she could moan loudly. The pleasure of his workings and her dark pleasure at watching the elven people being slaughtered were driving her crazy. Harley, however, was going crazy at the lack of attention.

"Puddin', what about me!?" she groaned, pushing her breasts harder against Noir, who greatly enjoyed that her nickname for the Joker was now her reference to him.

"Oh, sorry, Harley," Noir said, turning his head towards her to start making out with her as he continued to thrust his fingers into Ivy and with his other hand he started rubbing Harley's dripping womanhood through her pants.

By the time the elf numbers started dwindle and most of the lifeforce had been gathered by the Blacklight creatures, the two newest mistresses were now practically two animals in heat.

"Shall we take this to my place?" Noir asked, stopping all attention he was giving the girls.

"Yes!" they shouted together, making the overlord chuckle.

He helped the two women up and led them into the portal to take them to the Netherworld. He led them up to his private chambers and separated from them as he moved inside.

"Strip," he ordered as he began to remove his armor to expose that he was just as aroused by the girls as they were by him.

The two girls quickly got undressed and ran to the bed to present their rears to the overlord. The nude overlord walked to them and, with one thrust, slammed his hard cock into Harley. So Ivy didn't feel left out, Noir stuck his fingers into her flooded womanhood and began to time his thrusts into Harley with her fingers thrusting into Ivy, making them moan loudly. The other mistresses in the tower all knew what the shaking that the Tower was currently suffering meant so they hurried along with their assigned jobs so they could hopefully join their master. Kitana was the first to enter the overlord's private chambers after about an hour and find the two newest mistresses already reduced to drooling lumps of ecstasy. Noir pulled out of the thoroughly used Ivy to grab Kitana, who had been frozen by the savagery of the activities and her own desire. Noir roughly pulled Kitana and she soon found herself replacing Ivy after her clothes had been roughly pulled off.

After a few hours, Noir left his bed chambers, leaving all of his mistresses plus Jade and Cara the Mord Sith behind, all unconscious from exhaustion, to return to the throne room. As he walked, Noir couldn't help but praise whatever god of darkness that allowed him to get the Hulk's stamina and endurance in addition to its strength, so he could please each of his mistresses to the point that he left them in without even being tired. Gnarl was once more waiting for his master.

"Ah, greetings, sire, I hope you enjoyed your mistresses as much as they clearly enjoyed your company," the minion master said, giggling pervertedly.

Noir didn't need to ask how Gnarl knew, since some of the mistresses got a little loud before the end.

"Indeed I did, Gnarl. So, is there anything new I need to know about?" Noir asked.

"Yes, that pitiful man you had control Markarth for you has requested your presence. Shall I summon some of your forces to escort you?"

"No, that's alright," Noir said as he walked towards the portal, "I doubt he'll try something. He's not that stupid." Coming out in Markarth's Understone Keep, Noir looked around and yelled, "Alright, where's Madanach!?" Suddenly, something hit him from behind and Noir looked at his hands to see a glow around his body telling him he'd been hit by a spell. Then, he noticed the world was getting darker. "Shit," he muttered before he lost consciousness.
