Hello all! Sorry this took so long to get up here! At least I finally got around to it! I hope you enjoy this chapter!

As the trees of Ordon vanished into the periphery of Ilia's and Colin's vision, the great vastness that was Hyrule Field expanded before them. It was quite the sight to behold, especially at the time in which the sun was mostly still resting below the horizon line, for it lit up the sky with a graciously beautiful hue. However, the two young Ordonians hardly even noticed the remarkably brilliant dawn, for they were focused solely on their impromptu rescue mission.

"Ilia, look!" Colin hollered over the wind created by Epona's monumental speed. "I can see Hyrule Castle up ahead!"

"That's it, all right," Ilia shouted in order to relay her response to Colin, "I'm guessing that we'll probably arrive in Castle Town some time before noon. I checked one of my father's maps last night, and Hyrule Castle is directly north of Ordon, so it shouldn't take us more than a couple of hours to get there if we keep going straight."

"Once we get there, what are we going to do?" Colin glanced back from his seat in between Epona's neck and Ilia's body in order to view the latter's face.

"We'll go to Telma's bar first, and then we will have to figure out where the passage to this prison is located," she responded with confidence derived from her resolve to reclaim the life of her childhood friend, "once we do that, we'll figure out how to get Link out."

Supporting the mortally wounded soldier as he traversed through the damp tunnels of this prison severely slowed Link's pace, yet he refused to abandon this damaged man, for his excessive sense of integrity would not allow him to disregard a soul in need of assistance, especially when it would result in such dire consequences for the other man.

"Turn left up there…" The guard breathily huffed the command as they maneuvered as quickly as his wounds would allow. "There should be stairs that lead to an exit at the end of that corridor…"

The glimmer of hope resulting from those words was nearly blinding for the young hero, and the idea of escaping from this dreary dungeon was gradually turning into reality as the seconds leisurely ticked into the past, for just beyond that next corner sat the golden archway to freedom and redemption, and Link would not fail his land again. No – this time, he would be sure to obliterate the life of that depraved Gerudo and restore the rightful semblance of tranquility to Hyrule.

However, as the two Hylian men rounded that corner, their optimism was drained entirely, for a swarm of bulblins were lingering near the stairs that lead to the outside world, blotting out the light that poured in from the sun shining just beyond the threshold.

Link instantly froze, causing the wounded soldier to halt alongside him. It seemed as though the finale to this attempted liberation was near, for as strong as he was, Link would not be able to overpower the horde of terrible creatures stampeding towards him, for he was weaponless, and they were armed with barbaric clubs designed to brutally assault their foes. And those unfortunate circumstances only had one possible conclusion: the soldier would be eliminated, and after Link was thoroughly beaten, he would be returned to that damned prison cell.

Let me know what you thought in the review section! I'm always open to receiving suggestions and comments; I only ask that you are nice if you decide to leave your opinions. Also, I know that this chapter was a bit short, but I wanted to update for you all so you knew that I hadn't abandoned you. Thanks all!
