Chapter Fifteen: Marvel

Here is the last part of the Days of Future Past Event, hope you enjoy it.

Marvel Girl

I was the last one to jump into the astral plane, where we were going to save Robin and Zack from the Shadow King.

As I walked into the dark astral plane Starfire, Iceman, Angel, Shadow cat, and Professor X were standing waiting for me to come through "Ok we have picked up the Shadow King's location, it seems he is not the only one here" Professor X said.

The team walked through a large passageway that led to a large doorway with three key holes "We must find the three keys: we will split up; Iceman and Shadow cat, Professor X and Angel, I will go with Starfire" I told everyone as we began to search.

Psylocke

I had been walking through an abandoned research center, when I saw a young boy lying in front of the doors and I walked over to him noticing he also had a tail, the boy slowly woke up "are you okay?" I asked him "I'm Psylocke, I can help you".

The boy slowly got up "I'm ok" he whispered "I'm Ben; I'm looking for my brother".

"Ok, I'll take you to Cyclops, maybe he will know something" I told him.

Ben and I then made it out of the abandoned research center and I began to lead him to Utopia, After a while Ben and I had finally made it to the edge of Utopia, where we could see two groups battling each other "What's happening?" Ben asked.

"The Avengers have attacked Cyclops team, I must help them" I answered as I began to leave "You stay here.

Iceman

Shadow cat and I had gone down through a long winding path through the astral plane, we hadn't spoken much as we searched for the keys, it didn't take long until we were in a large room were a light blue key laid on the wall and M.O.D.O.K sat guarding it.

"You must get through me, if you want the key" M.O.D.O.K stated as he saw us.

As M.O.D.O.K began his attack I used my powers to slide into the air, I saw as Shadow cat went right through him, I blasted him with ice as I slid further from his aim, Shadow cat was able to get the key without a problem just as M.O.D.O.K vanished.

Wolverine

I was walking through the sewers into Cyclops school looking for Hope, so that I could do what had to be done, I could sense that I was close as I moved around a corner and spotted her and I let out my claws as Spider- Man follows me "I'm Sorry. I don't want to hurt anyone. You don't understand, the closer it gets the more I feel it, the more the power grows inside of me" Hope said as she saw us.

"Whoa, is she, uh, supposed to be on fire like that?" Spider- Man asked.

"Outta the way" I ordered as I began to walk forward.

"Hey, no, what are you doing?" Spider- Man asked.

"What has to be done" I responded.

"Yes…" Hope said as I came forward ready to do what I came for.

Just then a young boy walked in "Whoa" he stated as he saw Hope on fire.

"What are you doing here, get out of here!" I shouted at him, as all of a sudden Hope burned me and she flew away, I got angry as I looked back at the kid "Who are you?"

"I'm Ben" he whispered.

"Your one of Starfire's friends" I said as I remembered the girl that showed up at the mansion.

Nova

Iron Man and I flew into Utopia as we searched for Ben and we saw the fight down below "I'm going to help Captain America, you go find Ben and get him back" Iron Man ordered.

As Iron Man flew away I flew over to a building where I saw Psylocke leading Ben out "I told you to stay where you were" I heard Psylocke tell him "You could have hurt yourself".

I flew down to them "I'm supposed to take Ben to the X Mansion, his friends will be there and were sending them home" I informed them.

"Ok, I'm going with you" Psylocke responded as we began the journey back.

Marvel Girl

Starfire and I had made it into a large room where a red key laid on the wall and saw the Future Raven "Well Starfire, I knew I'd see you again" she said as she moved closer to the key "I'll give you the key, If you can beat me… and my pets".

Suddenly out of giant black holes, dozens of Raven's creatures began to pour out and come at us "I'll fight Raven, you keep her pets off me" Starfire told me.

We both floated into the air, I hit several of the creatures as Starfire flew up to Raven who was holding the key, Starfire shot at Raven but she flew out of reach as the blasts came towards her.

Four creatures came flying at me and I was able to shoot them down easily as I went to help Starfire, shooting down several more creatures as I flew over to Raven who kept on flying out of reach of our energy blasts.

Raven used her powers to deflect most of the blasts as she began to also attack us "You can't stop the future from happening" she told Starfire as she managed to hit her with one of her blasts.

Just then a young boy, who looked about fourteen with a mask on in order to hide his Identity and a tail, came jumping through the air as he hit Raven catching her by surprise "What are you doing here!" She growled.

Then Raven and her creatures began to vanish just as the masked boy rushed out too and Starfire picked up the red key "who was that?" I wondered to myself.

Anole

I sat in the living room of the X Mansion as I waited for everyone to return from the astral plane, Gateway was sitting in the corner waiting to open the portal when I heard something and left to see what it was, most of the X-men had left earlier on missions or just some alone time and the Mansion was close to empty as I walked up to the front doors I saw Avalanche, Sabretooth, Exodus, Black Tom Cassidy, Juggernaut, Mammomax, and Nocturne standing in the doorway.

Angel

As I flew above Prof. X we finally made it into a large room with a green key sitting on the opposite wall and millions of creatures from the astral plane sat "You take the right, I'll take the left" Prof. X instructed.

I flew high above the creatures and attacked the creatures using my fists and flew out of the way as they attacked, Prof. X shot them with his powers.

I grabbed the key when I was close to it and as I grabbed it the creatures began to vanish "we should get back" I said as we began to get back to the first door.

Once we got back, the others were also standing at the door as we put the three keys into their colored locks and the large door slid open by itself "Ok, let's go rescue your friends" I heard Marvel Girl say to Starfire as we all began to walk through.

Anole

I slipped back into the living room were Gateway was sitting and began to lead him out before anyone could see me, Sabretooth was in the kitchen, drinking a can of something, as I silently led Gateway down into the sub-basement without anyone seeing me "I'm going to get help, stay down here" I told him as I began to walk back up to the first floor.

I used my camouflage as I got closer to the door and saw Juggernaut and Mammomax still at the door, I then saw through the window as Nova, Ben, and Psylocke began to walk up to the school.

I watched as Juggernaut and Mammomax knocked Nova and Psylocke out and Juggernaut grabbed a fighting Ben hostage.

Marvel Girl

I knew that there was trouble back at home, but I didn't tell the others yet in order to keep their heads in the mission, meanwhile I was able to get in contact with Beast, Storm, Colossus, Magma, Karma, Transonic, Velocidad, Match, Genesis, and Armor before the group reached the Shadow King's realm.

As we walked into the room we could see that Robin and Zack where tied up and gagged in the back corner, the Shadow Kind sat in a chair while Nightwing and Dan stood beside him "You have finally joined us" the Shadow King said in his deep voice "Now you must prove that your friends should live by a fight".

Nightwing and Dan began to attack the group, Iceman and Shadow cat went after Dan as Starfire and Angel attacked Nightwing "Let's go after the Shadow King" I told Prof. X as I flew at him while he still sat in his chair.

I saw as Dan and Shadow cat phased through most of the attacks while Iceman tried to freeze Dan, Starfire and Nightwing where talking as they fought each other. Prof. X and I began to attack the Shadow King with all the power we had.

I then saw as Angel, unseen by anyone else, began to cut Robin and Zack out of their rope and gags, as soon as they were free they helped fight off Nightwing and Dan.

Finally after a while Nightwing, Dan, and the Shadow King vanished and we were ready to make our way back home, I told them about the attack before we left.

Psylocke

I woke up in a small room, Anole was slowly untying me and Nova "Where's Ben?" I asked him.

"They have him" Anole reported "Only Avalanche, Sabretooth, Juggernaut, and Mammomax are still here, the reinforcements are here battling with them".

"Where's Ben now?" I asked as we left the room, the mansion was now a war zone.

"Sabretooth has him" Anole replied.

I rushed through the people fighting were I saw Sabretooth with a tied up Ben "Let him go" I ordered.

Suddenly Avalanche brought in Gateway "I got him" he said as Gateway opened a portal.

"If you want him" Sabretooth said to me "Then come get him" as he picked up the unconscious Ben and he and Avalanche jumped into the portal just as Juggernaut rushed at me.

I wasn't going to let them go as he swung his fist at me narrowly hitting me, suddenly I fell as Mammomax hit me from behind and I saw Juggernaut and Mammomax go rushing into the portal just as Marvel Girls' team finally returned "you're late" I said.

"What happened?" Marvel Girl asked.

I told them everything that had happened but before Starfire, Robin, and Zack left I told them that I was going with them, I had to help save Ben.

Then Nova said he would help, followed by Anole and then Iceman "ok, I will go too, but that is enough, everyone else will stay here, take care of this place… we will be back as soon as we can" Marvel Girl told everyone.

"Thank you guys" Starfire said over joyed.

"We better go" Robin stated "who knows what they wanted with Ben".

With that I followed the group along with my group into their own time.

Deep in an unknown place, in the shadows, a demonic robot can be seen, one half of its face is green as it can be seen the other half looks as if it is being melted away, It's eyes are dimming as it begins to shut down, it's life running out, the robot has deep gashes in its armor and one of its arms are totally gone as it shuts down, everything becomes dark once more.
