Twins Age: Their 13 as in canon and are in junior high.
Reviewer Replies: Sorry this updates pretty late I got sidetracked because of the holidays and the site went wonky after I moved 5:Childhood makes and Recap 4 to create the new story It's not Ova!. Also weapon/fighting style stuff is taking a while to research and I got a lot more than expected to sift through, so I'm just going to use what people give me instead of a poll and give credit.
uub: I don't mind at all! I like a lot of feedback. Sadly I don't know too many of the characters expect some Naruto's ones but your descriptions give me a pretty good idea of what your going for. Also "taking the trash out with my dying will" with a broom as a weapon that cracked me up. :D I like the idea of cloud lacking presence or ignored unintentionally and a bullying/trolling storm.
Vivienne001: Dameyoshi is a good nickname. Although it's a bit of bullying nickname but hey I'm doing the same~ That can be Tsunayoshi's and other Bakayoshi can be Kiyoshi's! I'll see if I can use it sometime soon. :D Probably in the next chapter.

Episode 1 Part 1
Chapter 10: The Reborn Day

In the anime Namimori was a nice little town. It was picturesque with it's cookie cutter houses down the lane. A town devoid of drugs or crime and surrounded by bubble of peace and tranquility
In reality it was different. True, there were hardly any mentions of drugs, crimes and gangs. However it was because most delinquents were under the Disciplinary Committee which was one giant organized gang that ruled that town.
Also most of that shady business was kept under wraps. So in a town scarce of shady happenings to talk about the townspeople turned to gossip.
The most notable was about the Bakayoshi Twins. If a stranger was asked what was different about them they could go on to list many things.
If asked what the twins had in common other than the near identical looks, a resident would tell said stranger both were no good. However even that wasn't exactly true...
It was morning in the peaceful town of Namimori. Outside the Sawada family's home the sun was rising, the birds were chirping, and the neighbors were gossiping.
"Have you heard? Tsuna got a 20 on a test, even my Daichi wouldn't get that!" clucked one mother in false dismay.
"And Kiyoshi supposedly skips school can you believe it?" said one pausing from tending her yard with scolding shake of her watering can.
"Well they are Twins it is possible for them to cover such things up" concluded another picking up her morning paper with remorseful shake of her head
"Really how rude youngsters are these days" the third woman complained wanting to join in on the gossiping circle.
*CLANK*
They startled at the sound of the gate of the very house whose inhabitants they had been talking about was opened. A boy with stickup brunette hair stepped out with a bulging trash bag in hand.
There was awkward silence as Kiyoshi opened the gate wider and stepped out. At this the group tensed watching silently as he took out the trash. He seemed to ignore their very existence even as one greeted him.
He strode to the trashcan where he plunked down his burden into with a thunk. He closed the top of the trashcan and then paused.
"Really how rude oldsters are today~ " he parroted without turning causing the ladies to turn red in embarrassment at being caught gossiping.
After this he walked past without another word and entered the house. As soon as the door was shut the buzz and drone of ladies voices sharp as wasps was heard. Guess what? Gossiping again.
Choosing to ignore them Kiyoshi went into the kitchen where Mama was cooking breakfast.
"Can you wake up Tsuna? Kiyoshi" said Mama as she flipped the pancake before setting it on a plate.
"Sure." said Kiyoshi before thumping his way up the stairs calling "TSUNA WAKE UP!"
Inside Tsuna's room, said boy was laid out snoring in unattractive fashion.
"Tsuna! We'll be late!" Kiyoshi tried shaking him awake at first to no avail. Tsuna groaned and turned but didn't get up.
"Tsuna you got a 20 on your test" continued Kiyoshi hoping to shock him awake. Still no success. Sighing Kiyoshi went to the bathroom where he got plastic cup full of water.
"Tsuna I'm going to drop a bucketful of water one you" threatend Kiyoshi who tipped the cup so that just little spilled onto Tsuna.
"HIIEE" Tsuna shot up at the sudden stimulus. He almost hitting Kiyoshi who had barely managed to stumbled backward. In the process he had accidentally dropped the cup on Tsuna's head soaking him "C-cold! Kiyoshi why?!"
"It's your own fault!"
"ACK we're going to be late!" freaked out Tsuna having slept in to long. Hurriedly, Tsuna jumped around to get on his clothes.
"You're going to be late" corrected Kiyoshi who had already dressed and was ready to go. Tsuna wasn't listening he too busy getting ready. Kiyoshi was hungry and his duty was done so he prompt turned, left the room, and slammed the door shut .
"Come down for breakfast when your done dressing!" he shouted as he thumped downstairs.
-Downstairs-
"Great now that you're both down here..." Mama cried clapping her hands happily as Tsuna and looked up and Kiyoshi continued to eat. She then rustled in her pocket before producing an add from he folds of her apron.
"Look, your father recommended this tutor and he's coming today!" she held the add up so both could see it. The add had the clam emblem, a phone number, and the slogan "Let your child be the leader of the next generation!" emblazoned on it in bold letters.
" But Mama! " protested Tsuna while Kiyoshi waffle still halfway in his mouth merely uttered a blunt "No." accompanied by a deadpan. 'No I'm not ready for this.'
"Now boys. Your grades could be better and your behavior..." cheerfully reprimanded Mama giving them The Look. The first one directed towards Tsuna who slumped in his chair and the latter toward Kiyoshi who turned his head avoiding her gaze.
The doorbell rang "Ah that must be the Tutor! Go get the door" said Mama .
Tsuna looked as Kiyoshi. Kiyoshi looked at Tsuna. It was a brief epic battle of wills between siblings of who shall open the door. It was ended by Kiyoshi who pointed out "I got the trashcan so you go get the door". Sighing Tsuna saw it was a battle not worth fighting over and so got up and went to open the door.
"Um mom we have a problem.." Kiyoshi heard Tsuna say from the doorway. While Mama got up to help Tsuna Kiyoshi deemed his pancakes were more important and stayed where he was. Then he reevaluated the once in a lifetime event that was Reborn's appearance ,and ate quickly before getting up. He was not going to miss this for pancakes (despite how good they were).
"Oh a little kid. Are you lost?" said Mama as she approached the entrance of the house with Kiyoshi following behind.
"No. I am the home tutor, Reborn" said Reborn calmly at the door in his squeaky voice tipping his hat.
"Wahha you must be kidding me!" Tsuna guffawed and Kiyoshi snickered (even while he knew the truth because it was still funny) while Mama also laughed thinking it a joke too.
"Dame Tsuna" the baby hit Tsuna on the head before kicking Kiyoshi in the head. OW!" They fell onto the ground. Kiyoshi was rubbing his head and Tsuna was holding his head in pain.
"What was that for?" asked Kiyoshi annoyed while Tsuna also said the same thing but as a surprised shout. Reborn ignored the glare sent his way by Kiyoshi.
Nervously Tsuna looked between the two. His twin's glares were scary! But so were dogs. and cats. and that one time...Okay so maybe saying his brother was scary was wrong seeing as the baby didn't look even a bit perturbed. A baby. Now that was hitting a new low for even him thought Tsuna miserably.
"May I come in" said Reborn totally ignoring the twins as mama said yes and he stepped into the threshold.
So that's how Tsuna lost his seat and had his food stolen by Reborn. He had to get himself new plate of pancakes while Reborn ate his.
-Outside the House-
"Really who is he even" sighed a disgruntled Tsuna once outside walking to school on the sidewalk while Kiyoshi turned to face him. "I mean home tutor? That kid-"
"Tsuna look." Kiyoshi pointed but was ignored until he repeated it again.
Tsuna turned to face him but continued to talk "He's just a baa-HIIE!" exclaimed Tsuna stumbling back after seeing said baby on the wall. "How did you?! Why are you following us!?"
"To answer. First I'm a hit man and second I'm coming with you to school to teach you" explained Reborn as he walked alongside the twins on top of the wall. He then suddenly jumped onto Tsuna head who elicited a pained groan.
"Why should we believe you?" said Kiyoshi playing dumb despite knowing the truth. Because normally what are the odds of a person being a hitman not to mention a pint sized baby being one?
"Because I can kill you" the lid of Reborn's hat shadowed his face from view making him look menacing. Kiyoshi and Tsuna only stared at Reborn in disbelief for completely different reasons.
Kiyoshi quickly changed to a safe topic that only he and Tsuna and knew about. "Tsuna are you going to ask her today?" Though being Reborn he guessed the baby already knew.
"Ask who what?" asked Tsuna confused before realization dawned on him "T-Today?!" stuttered Tsuna "um...but he's here and" said Tsuna looking uncomfortable his eyes flickering to Reborn on his head and back to Kiyoshi as if pleading for mercy.
"Yup" Nodded Kiyoshi solidly. "Best of luck Bro" with a thumbs up that seemed to mock Tsuna.
"Explain." demanded Reborn
"Eh that is umm" Tsuna looked down while shuffling his feet until they hit someone's gate.
"GRRR" the fence creaked open as a dog came out snarling at the two boys.
"EPP!" Tsuna jumped away only to bump into Kiyoshi behind him.
"You are the only middle schooler in the world to have fear of dogs" insulted Reborn who then glanced at Kiyoshi who was hiding behind Tsuna " Well two" he reiterated.
"Hey I have an excuse! I was bitten by a dog as kid." defended Kiyoshi showing the small scar on hand where he was once bitten to Reborn. Reborn then cast his penetrating gaze to Tsuna who had no excuse and was sweating bullets. Why? because now Kiyoshi was holding him still in front of the dog.
"EH why are you holding me let me go!" panicked Tsuna as Kiyoshi held his brother as a shield in front of him.
"Here doggy I offer up my brother up to you as sacrifice. He's a little on the thin side but dogs like bones right?" said a panicked Kiyoshi clearly not in his right mind pushing Tsuna closer the growling dog.
"WHAT No!" protested Tsuna as he struggled to break free. His arms waved about like a windmill before whacking on Kiyoshi on the nose.
Kiyoshi let go of Tsuna and both fell on a heap on the ground face to face with the growling hellhound who was poised to spring. Both screamed and clung onto each other for dear life.
"Pathetic" said at Reborn. He approached the pup and patted on the head to the sound of his screeching students. The dog growled menacingly one last time before panting happily and walking away back inside the gate.
Embarrassed, the Twins both scrambled up and let go of each other. Kiyoshi brushed the dust off his clothing as did Tsuna before looking up and realizing where they were. It was street like any other with it's well paved sidewalks, and nicely tended houses, but from one a person emerged with orange hair.
"Ah Kyoko-Chan!?" cried out Tsuna suddenly seeing the girl of his dreams coming out from her house.
"Good morning Tsuna, Kiyoshi "greeted Kyoko tilting her head so flowers in the background seems to bloom stunning both momentarily. Kiyoshi idly noted that Kyokos 'flower power as he so aptly named it in his head was strong today. Poor Tsuna he was so easily dazzled by it.
"Morning Smiley-san" greeted Kiyoshi recovering first to use her nickname.
"Hello Kyoko!" said Tsuna breaking out of his reverie after a nudge from Kiyoshi.
"Who is this?" said Kyoko as she noticed Reborn who she had never seen before
"um that is-" Tsuna tried to explain but unable to.
"Is that your kid brother?" asked a brown haired girl coming from out of nowhere. Tsuna looked startled and struggled to answer. He was unsure of how exactly to explain the presence of a delusional baby, who believes he is a hit man, and is Tsuna's tutor aka Reborn's appearance.
"No" answered Kiyoshi simply. He recognized the girl as Haru and could only hope she hadn't started stalking them like in canon. Then he waited patiently for Tsuna to talk to Kyoko and ask her the question which so far he was epically failing to do.
"This is just like shoujo manga scenario" breathed Haru cheeks flushed and eyes shining. 'Too late'
"Yea" absentmindedly said Kiyoshi too intent on willing his brother to speak up already. Then blinked 'did she just say-' only to see her staring at '..oh it's just Reborn phew for a moment I thought she jumped into the liking Tsuna phase' still Kiyoshi edged away from her.
"Why are you wearing a suit?" questioned Kyoko crouching down to ask Reborn himself.
"I'm a hitman in the mafia." bluntly explained Reborn while Tsuna gave the kid a blank stare his minds seeming to shut down. Kiyoshi meanwhile had been expecting this and began to cough causing Tsuna to stiffen at the subtle signal to get his butt and gear and do as planned, despite unexpected interruptions.
"How cute" commented Kyoko obviously thinking Reborn was playing pretend. Then again if anyone was told that it was better it was Kyoko, since she was already pretty oblivious.
"Um Kyoko. Would you walk with me to school?" hesitantly asked Tsuna to redirect the conversation. Hopefully, to something less mafia related like the weather. He also did it so he could later ask the question Kiysohi had been bugging him about. His hand gripped nervously onto his bag after finally building up the courage to initiate the first step.
Only to be shot down.
"Oh I'm sorry but I promised someone else today" said Kyoko with an apologetic smile.
"Okay um that's fine." said Tsuna looking disappointed but mostly sheepish for even asking. Probably already beating up on himself which was why Kiyoshi gave another shove to get him out
"Perhaps another time. However I got go now I'm running late" Smiled Kyoko checking her watch before turning to leave.
"Me too!" gasped Haru snapping out of her reverie realizing the time as she quickly left.
The boys watched them go "She did say another time Bro" consoled Kiyoshi to Tsuna who had begun to sink into a depressing cloud of gloom.
"So you like that girl, Kyoko Sasgawa, the school idol and your childhood friend. That's quite stereotypical of you dame-Tsuna" correctly deduced Reborn now that it was just Kiyoshi, Tsuna, and Reborn.
"Why should I tell you!?" Miffed and upset a being (sort of) rejected Tsuna got up from his cloud of gloom and began to walk angrily away from them before slowing and stopping at a sudden realization " Wait how do you know all that?!"
"I'm you tutor and should know such things" said Reborn smoothly before adding in for proof "Like Quitter Kiyoshi here is a slacker who sleeps during classes and tests and tries to skip resulting in bad grades "
"Hey. I'm not the only one. People sleep in class all the time!" complained Kiyoshi who was was hit on the head by Reborn for that.
"So addressing the major problem:Kyoko Sasgawa" said Reborn going back on topic.
"Tsuna's has had a crush on her forever" informed Kiyoshi offhandedly to Reborn while huddled on the ground catching Tsuna panicked attention. "He was going to co -"
"Don't tell him that!" Tsuna panicked covering Kiyoshi's mouth with his own hand. "I'm not going to do it anyway..." said softer this time
"Why not?" asked both Reborn and Kiyoshi in unison. Tsuna nervously shifted from foot to foot under their intense gazes,.
"I..wish I could but you saw what just happened. I can't date her she's the school idol " sighed Tsuna depressed "It's better this way. At least we're friends. Thanks for your help brother but there is no way she would ever da-"
"Bro ...you've been in love with her for what? 4 years at least" said Kiyoshi point blank giving him the look that showed he clearly did not believe him "How can you give up like that?"
"That's a long time yo have crush" whistled Reborn unhelpfully by the sidelines watching the sibling drama play out.
"Yes but it's so-" faltered Tsuna as he slowed his walk.
"So?" urged Kiyoshi curious and confused at the same time.
"Why do you care?!" cried Tsuna in a desperate attempt to brush Kiyoshi off. He honestly did not want to talk about his seemly failed crush.
At this Kiyoshi went silent. Why did Kiyoshi even care? Really was it a selfish desire to see how the relationship would end. A secret hope that Tsuna would manage to be happy before the Mafia. Even maybe a chance for happy normalcy?It was too late for that. Really getting them together wouldn't that just endanger Kyoko more rather than help them both.
"How would you know? You've never fallen in love!" Tsuna rant to deter Kiyoshi seemed to have struck a chord in Kiyoshi who suddenly stopped.
"I have...maybe" said quietly Kiyoshi though honesty he couldn't remember. Not that it would be much help. At this Reborn raised eyebrow at him as his sources had not informed him about that.
Tsuna tripped at this unexpected statement. "EHHH WHO?!" before shooting up to question Kiyoshi who had wisely chosen to stay silent. Seeing as any past relationships would have been one foreign, two a boy, and three literally worlds away. Now that would have been one way to raise Tsuna already high blood pressure.
Meanwhile it seemed like Reborn had already come to his own conclusion or decided to help spark the fire "So Kiyoshi you like Kyoko too?"
"NO." quickly amended Kiyoshi shock and disgust apparent on his face while Tsuna seem to freeze stunned .
"Why not?" asked Tsuna after his initial shock unable to fathom why a guy could not like Kyoko.
"She's too much like Mama" was Kiyoshi straightforward answer while he wrinkled his nose mildly in disgust.
As Tsuna opened his mouth to protest Kiyoshi interrupted feeling uncomfortable by the weird turn of conversation. "Back to the subject just confess or you might regret it later on your deathbed" insisted Kiyoshi
"I won't" said Tsuna uncertainly even as the pathetic image seemed to form in mind. At this both Reborn and Kiyoshi gave him the deadpan look of 'You totally would'.
"Your lying. Tsuna Die." at this point Reborn stepped in with his gun seeing as the conversation was just leading them into circles.
*BANG*
Stunned Kiyoshi could only watch as Tsuna plummeted to ground. Kiyoshi stood stiil fr few seconds before the fallen body before feeling his legs collapse his eyes frantically scanning the body. There was not blood. No wound he could see. His brother looked asleep.
"TSUNA!" he shook him comically like a rag doll back and forth as as if that would wake him up. Kiyoshi then suddenly dropped Tsuna as he remembered that this was supposed happen.
"What did you do to him?" asked Kiyoshi on reflex. It was eerily similar to that time when as kid Tsuna had last awakened his flame and fell unconscious. Like before Tsuna was motionless and not breathing and like before it unnerved and terrified Kiyoshi. His foreknowledge was the one thing that kept him from freaking out like before.
"Merely showed you what you wanted to." smugly stated Reborn giving him once-over. He was analyzing Kiyoshi's reactions. Under that detached and scrutinizing gaze Kiyoshi had to reminded himself very hard that shaking Reborn violently for answers would not help him wake Tsuna up sooner. Neither would the hospital as his hands twitched for his phone to punch in the numbers.
However before such thought could become reality Tsuna stood up suddenly. His clothes tearing off or him as he yelled "WITH MY DYING WILL I WILL CONFESS TO KYOKO!" before taking off and speeding right into a truck.
Kiyoshi blinked. Rubbed his eyes. Stood stock still in shock. Panic warred with the overwhelming urge to laugh as Tsuna picked himself up and continued to run at breakneck speeds.
"Now go after him or else your going to be next" threatened Reborn as he hopped off the wall and onto Kiyoshi's shoulder.
"Huh?" stunned for the second time Kiyoshi stood there stupefied looking where Tsuna took off. The baby gave no answer except for the click of Leon at his temple. Kiyoshi gulped and picked up his brother's fallen bag and hurried after him.
Kiyoshi ignored the overwhelming urge to throw Reborn off his shoulder and far far far away wherever he came from. After all Reborn just shot his brother with no qualms at all (likely Reborn wouldn't hesitate to do so with him) and more importantly said brother was alive, well and running.
...Sans clothes and plus a dose of EXTREME as Ryohei a upperclassman would later report to the entire school in a overly loud tone when asked...
