I know, I know its been toooo long since I wrote a chapter, but butbutbutbuttbutt but...life's really busy since the new school year. And i didn't really think anybody liked this story to begin with. Butt turns out y'all did, Save Viridi almost hit 2000 views.

Chapter 9

Zake pov

"I thought you said you new where you were going."

"I do. I-I just need time to think."

Pit and I were at a crossroads with the dwarves, there was no one around to ask for directions so Pit took it upon himself to find the nearest town. And now they were lost, out of rations and in a sour mood.

Rook was tapping his foot impatiently, while Biby and Tomtom were foraging for mushrooms (they weren't having any success.) Pit was still deciding on which way to go, the Palutena bow in his left hand reacted to Pits anxiety by rotating its blades in a circle.

I look at my eye orbitars they just shake without mumbling. I sigh and walk up to him "Hey Pit we need to get moving the dwarves are looking at me funny." Pit points at the sign

"Well the sign had a map but it looks like someone took it."

I look at a wooden box that was indeed empty.

Rook lets out a grunt and says

"Well any ideas?"

"Well we can go ask that random old lady that appeared out of nowhere." Pit answers

I turn and sure enough there was a random old lady standing there "Stupid Fanfiction stories like this make no sense." I walk over with Pit and before I can say word Pit yells

"GOOD AFTERNOON LADY OF THE OLD AGE! I AM PIT, SERVANT OF THE GODDESS OF-"

"Yeah yeah whatever not important."

Pit freezes mid-victory stance.

"Not important?" Pit than crawls into a ball and starts crying. Rook walks over and starts petting Pits head softly as if he was a infant.

I shake my head and turn back to the old woman, who was now eating mushrooms that the dwarves had found. I clear my throat and ask her

"Excuse me do you know where the nearest town is located.

She pops a mushroom into her mouth and points east

"Town about days walk. Take this food and water should last you all about a day."

I bow and was about to say thank you when the wind blows in my face, when I look up the lady was gone but the supplies were still there. I ponder to myself "Was that real or not". I shake it off and decide to think about it later. Pit calls everyone together and we gather the supplies and head towards the town.

18 hours later

We finally made it to the town and everyone including me was tired. Pit some how manages to contacts Lady Palutena and she directs us towards a inn. We rent two rooms and breakfast, the Inn lady was even kind enough to give Pit some ice-cream although he dropped it right away. (Yeah he still ate it.) Pit wanted to share a room with the dwarves so he could practice (A.K.A. stay up late). I say good night to the dwarves and Pit as I head to my room.

I close the door behind me and detach my orbitars. They instantly head towards the window to stare at the moon. I grab my suit case, lay it on the bed, and open it revealing a telescope and stand. I trace my fingers against the words on the side "Memory", a smile creeps onto my face as I remember I got it from Dyntos on a special occasion. I unpack it and set it up next to the orbitars. They turn to me and blink once.

"Ok ok." I exclaim "Here look who it is." The right eye looks through the scope for a few seconds then lets the left have a look.

After their done they snuggle up on the bed and fall asleep with their eyes open.

Usually people got freaked over this saying "How can orbitars have a living spirit." I usually answer with "Well theres a first for everything." They would scowl at me then walk away, thinking that I was crazy.

I look through the telescope and see the Ursa Minor constellation talking to its superior Ursa Major. Then a bright star catches my attention and I turn towards it

"There she is again."

The star then starts moving towards me, I move the telescope to the side. And before the star lands in my room I get on one knee and bow my head.

A bright light engulfs the room and then fades away. Two pure white shoes with stars on them landed in front of me. Theres a long silence before a smooth voice like silk breaks the silence.

"How long are you gonna act like your on protocol for?"

"I haven't been given the permission to arise my lady." I respond without cracking a smile.

The woman gives small laugh than replies.

"Alright then 'Arise oh son of the stars come embrace me'"

I didn't need to be told twice. I stand, run up to the woman, and hug her and she hugs me back.

"Hi mom, I missed you."

Pit pov

I watch as the light falls from the sky and nearly lights up the whole town. It flies around for a little while then heads towards Zakes window, it enters then fades away. Rook climbs onto the windowsill and asks "Whatcha lookin at Short Stuff." I lean away and whisper "Says the guy who's 3 inches tall." I turn back to rook to find out he's gone. Suddenly something breaks, I turn around to find the dwarves searching my bag and had smashed the vase on the nightstand trying to get it off. They didn't even flinch when the vase broke. I stand up off the windowsill ("It was about three inches off the ground.") and walkup behind the dwarves. "Still had not noticed me." I cough and thats what stops them, they slowly turn their heads and laugh nervously

"Hey Pit." Biby smirks "We were just checking for something."

I look at them quiz-idly "For what?"

Tom-tom stands up and motions me to bend down. I bend down and he whispers something in my ear. After he finishes their's silence I stand back up then clench my fist.

*BOP*

*POW*

*DONK*

Three bumps on three dwarves heads. I dust of my hands and point my fingers at them "Those thoughts are disgusting. Shame on you." I points towards the bed "Off to bed for, the three of you."

The dwarves huff and stomp their feet, but I stand my ground. Rook finaly lets a hostile grunt before getting in the bed and falling asleep instantly. Biby and Tomtom look at Rook than at me, than back to, Rook before climbing into the bed next to him.

"Ya know for grown men they sure, do act like kids."

I let out a sigh of relief before looking back the window to see the light leaving Zakes room and disappear among the stars. Zake leans out the window and notices me. He waves for me to come to his room. I give him a fist pump before walking to the door, opening it cautiously to not wake up the dwarves, and stepping out into the hallway of the inn.

Zake opens his door and gestures me inside. He closes the door behind me and sets the orbitars on guard duty.

"I'm sorry about this Pit," he turns around with a serious face on "but we may have a problem."

Viridi Pov

A sudden pain to my side woke me up from my slumber, another shock pushed straight into my stomach. I coughed up ichor and went limp in the chair I was in. But whoever was torturing didn't buy it, and hit me again on my head. The strange thing was that I was getting hurt like a normal human/flea. Something was block my powers from: A) Taking the damage for me. B) Allowing me to summon things and. C) Stopping me to send out messages or knowing where I was.

So yeah basically I'm a super hero with hidden powers like Pit.

Pit, what was taking that good looking idiot so long. Kid Icarus Uprising didn't take that long if you take out the chaos kin chapters. The moment when Pits wings were all burned up. My voice was so shaky that I'm surprised anyone didn't notice (except Phosphora she knows everything about me.) Palutena was a rival even though she thought of Pit as a son (#TeamPiridi) it stilled ticked me off when Pit called out to Palutena and not me. The Green haired, pseudo, faced, nice body older woman idiot will not get the better of me.

I let out a chuckle and a deep voice yells at me

"What so funny are you enjoying this."

A whirring started to engine started to power and electric sparks touched my toes burning them. A bucket of hot boiling water was poured on me and I scream in pain as my skin becomes painful and sensitive to the cold air.

"Unfortunately for you Goddess, you can't die from a mere mortal like me. Your wounds heal after awhile so we can do this all day."

There was a loud bang, then suddenly a continues bolt of lightning hits me in the chest multiply the pain by a million due to the water. It smashes the chair and sends my flying into the wall. My dress started to burn away and I reached towards the man.

"Please stop. I'm begging you."

The man scoffs and turns off the machine which unfortunately let out one more bolt and I let out a scream. I crumpled to the floor and coughed up more ichor. My ears were ringing and the pain that was going through my whole body didn't want to stop. Someone grabs on my hair and lifts me up by it. I couldn't feel my body now due to the pain.

Suddenly there was screaming and more electricity but it wasn't my screams it was the mans. More voices filled the room and the last thing I heard was someone say. "Get her to the infirmary now." Before the world became black and I went into the world of dreams.
