Thanks for reading.
"You kissed?!" Tinkerbell asked surprised "I told you! He is your soul mate".
Regina had told the fairy everything in detail.
"I know ... It was so beautiful." The queen gave a small smile and then shook her head. "But it can't happen again".
"What? Why?"
"Because despite what you say, this is not right ... He only has the responsibility to take care of me and nothing else".
"What are you talking about?" The blonde approached Regina with a confused face." You love him, I see it in your eyes" she whispered." What are you afraid of? "
"I don't want it to be the same as with Daniel" the brunette replied with tears in her eyes. "I don't want him to be hurt because of me, because he loves me ... My mother can kill him if she finds out".
"Robin is not stupid, he knows how to defend himself.
"Not of black magic. Not from my mother".
"Why do not you let him decide whether he wants to be with you or not? Don't make hasty decisions for him".
"I know what his decision will be and that's what scares me" confess Regina "I don't want to fall in love with him and then lose him. In either possibility I lose it, and I couldn't bear it ... Not again".
Tinkerbell hugged Regina who had begun to cry.
The queen couldn't help being afraid. She knew that if her mother found out that she loved Robin, she would rip out his heart and crush it. Regina couldn't bear to live without the man she loved once more.
Regina had spent a quiet night, she had not had nightmares and so Robin was able to get some sleep to begin the journey.
When he finished preparing the little luggage they carried, he put it on the horse and went back to look for Regina.
"Everything is ready to go" he informed her.
"I'm outside in a second."
Robin looked at her and he went over to her and took her in his arms delicately.
"We have to talk about what happened yesterday".
"I do not want to talk about that".
Regina began to walk toward the door, she was willing not to speak to Robin.
"Wait ..." Regina stopped and stared at the door. "Regina, I do not know what the kiss was for you, but it was very important to me ..." Robin advanced toward her and went very close. "I love you" whisper him.
The queen smiled with tears in her eyes, but she said nothing. She walked forward again and leaved the room leaving the thief alone and with thousands of doubts in the head.
Regina didn't know what to answer at the words of her guardian. She loved him too, but she was not sure if it was a good idea to tell him.
A minute later Robin was out with his face broken. He looked sick and confused.
"You're ok?" Asked Tink approaching him
"Yes, everything is fine ... We must leave now".
Regina felt the guilt settle inside her when she saw Robin like that.
Without saying anything else, the thief approached her and helped her up the horse. Then he climbed in and took the reins, he waited for Tinkerbell to become small and the journey began.
The journey had been long and silent and only took several hours. They had not even come close to the cabin. They had stopped to take a break and drink some water.
Regina was sitting on a rock beside Tinkerbell and Robin was a few steps in front of them contemplating the landscape.
Everything happened to fast, Regina was not sure how those men had come to them. The first thing he saw was the arrow digging into Robin's leg and the men emerging from the bushes.
They were the same men who had kidnapped her except that this time Varyus was not with them.
"What do we have here?" James said with a smile "It seems that we came back to bump into the queen and her guard dog."
"Don't go near her" Robin warned him with a wince.
"I don't think you're in a position to stop me."
Robin pounced on James and hit him in the face. James hit him in the stomach and then in the face.
Robin turned to the horse where he had left his bow and seconds later felt himself falling to the ground with cloudy vision.
"I think this time your majesty he won't be able to defend you." James approached Regina with a smile.
Regina looked at him frightened and she looked for Tinkerbell but she had disappeared. She watched Robin unconscious on the ground and her fear rose even more.
"Don't you dare touch me" Regina warned with her jaw clenched.
James laughed and looked at his men who also laughed.
"And who's going to stop me? My queen".
This time Regina looked at him with hate and kicked him in the crotch. James complained of the pain and Regina took the opportunity to hit him in the face as hard as he could.
Tinkerbell appeared helping her with the two remaining men and left them unconscious. He ran to James and threw some dust causing him to fall to the ground.
Both ran to Robin and knelt at his side.
"He's unconscious and his wound is bleeding too much" said the fairy.
"We have to get out of here. We cannot risk to them waking up".
"Let's go back to Red. She'll help us."
Regina nodded, and together they lifted Robin off the ground. He was very heavy, so they chose to drag him to the horse and there they both made the most effort to raise him in to the horse.
Regina came up and took control of the reins and gave a jerk so the horse galloped as fast as possible. Tinkerbell ran after her and became small to fly to Regina's side.
The horse rode as fast as possible. Regina was desperate, Robin looked pale and had not awakened.
They had to hurry to the inn before something serious happened.
