And just like that, Wendbria awakes from a four year slumber to finish off her stories.
Hello Everyone! I am so so SO sorry I have been away from this story for such a long time but I'm back and I promise I'm going to finish this story along with some other ones that I left alone for far to long.
Now one to the much anticipated continuing tale of the Seductress!
ENJOY!
Hinata made her way to the bar to meet up with Kori. But she couldn't help but worry that she went too far with Sasuke. She knew that he didn't like it when girls hung on him like that. She only meant to tease him. Just show him of what she was capable of. After all….he was the one that challenged her. He was the one that asked about her outfit.
Of course she needed to wear it. Kori came off as a shallow man that saw women as nothing more than objects that he could play with. Her job was to get him to reveal information to her through seduction and the easiest way to do that was to wear something revealing. It was all part of the job.
But still…she shouldn't have done that to Sasuke. With an aggravated sigh, Hinata made a mental note to apologize to him later on.
Realizing that she was coming up on the bar, Hinata pushed Sasuke to the back of her mind and put on her cover, Nana. She walked in passed the multitude of men that stared at her like a piece of meat and headed to where Kori was sitting.
Last time Kori had two women on each side of him but now he was all alone. Hinata planned on using this to her advantage.
"There you are princess." Kori called out when he saw Hinata. "I was hoping that you would show up."
"Of course. Why wouldn't I?"
"Some girls are afraid. They aren't sure they can handle someone like me." He then winked at Hinata that made her inwardly cringe. The guy wasn't bad looking but he was no god. Hinata just smiled back.
"Take a seat." Kori patted the spot next to him. Hinata sat down and not a moment later Kori placed his arm around her. More then anything Hinata wanted to grab the man's arm and throw him across the room but she kept her cool and did the opposite, snuggling up to Kori instead of recoiling like she wanted to.
"Is something going on? There seems to be less people in here that yesterday." Hinata asked as she looked around the bar.
"Ah, you see…I have a little show that is going to be happening later tonight." Kori boasted. "Once people heard about it, I'm sure they all headed off to get a good seat."
"A show really? What kind?" Hinata played dumb even though Sasuke already told her what was going on.
"The best kind. I shall be having a little tournament of sorts to see which of my men is the strongest."
"Wow, really?"
Kori nodded then he looked at his watch. "We should be getting there ourselves soon."
"Should we go now?"
Kori shook his head. "I'm waiting for someone."
Hinata pretended to pout. "You mean you weren't waiting for me?"
Kori smirked. "Of course I was but as you can see," He waved the hand that wasn't wrapped around Hinata's waist. "I have this other hand and I would like to have it occupied before we head out."
"Guess he wants to show off in front of everyone when we walk into the tournament." Hinata thought, but this wasn't good. It seemed that Kori dropped women easily so Hinata needed to show him that she was what he wanted and no one else.
Taking a deep breath and bringing in her courage, she went for her next move, which she really wished she didn't have to do, but a mission was a mission.
In a blink of an eye Hinata was straddling Kori and giving him a sultry look. "I have a few ideas on how to keep both of your hands busy."
Kori immediately took the bait and smirked as he rubbing his hands down Hinata's bare thighs. "Aren't you a little vixen."
"Only with you." She purred. "I've never been this forward with another man before."
"A great way to grab the man's attention is to boost his ego. And nothing boosts a man's ego more than telling him he's better than other guys. The men you will be dealing with are not men of value so go for all the cheap tricks." Keiko-sensei's advice rang in Hinata's head and she watched Kori smile even more.
And then like an animal Kori attacked, crashing his lips into hers. His kisses were not gentle. He bit at her lips and forced his tongue down her throat. Hinata wanted to pull away but she pushed down her natural reaction and instead responded with her own fierce kisses. Kori responded with a low moan.
Hinata knew that if they continued that things would go further than she wanted. While Kori was busy kissing down her neck, she quickly looked around for some type of distraction but couldn't find anything. She began to panic but luckily fate came in the form of one of Kori's bodyguards walking through the door.
The man saw Hinata and Kori's current position and coughed into his hand. Hinata pretended to be embarrassed and jumped off of Kori and hid her face.
"What?!" Kori barked at his bodyguard. Obviously pissed that their session was interrupted.
"Everyone is ready, sir."
Kori ran his hand through his hair and gathered himself once again and then turned to Hinata. "We're just put a pause on that moment until later." He winked and stood up. "Do you know what happened to Suki?" He looked at his bodyguard.
Hinata remembered that Suki was one of the girls from the other night and had to be the one that Kori wanted as the second girl.
The guard shook his head.
"Whatever." Kori grabbed Hinata's wrist. "Guess you get to be my one and only tonight." But he didn't wait for a response and instead jerked Hinata to the door with a surprise amount of strength.
Sasuke leaned against one of the trees, not even bothering to warm up. Instead he simply observed.
Most of the fighters were simple strongmen, not trained shinobi but Sasuke saw a handful of others who were obviously trained. A set of twins were close by practicing their taijutsu, while a man with a bowstaff was fighting against a tall man with a scythe.
He made a mental note to keep an eye on them.
Sasuke glanced over at the observation area and saw that a large amount of people had gathered for the show, probably thinking that is was all part of the festivities and not in fact, the future army that would try and take over the country.
Just when he thought this little show was never going to start Kori and his guards came into view and his was holding Hinata close to him.
Something in the way that Kori was holding Hinata was different than the night before. He seemed more possessive and made sure to keep her near him at all times. Something must of happened at the bar. Sasuke watched them more closely and that's when he noticed how red and swollen Hinata's lips were and when she was readjusting her kimono, he saw it.
A small bruise on her collarbone that could only have happened in one way.
Fury ran through Sasuke's body. If that idiot did what Sasuke thinks he did then it would be the end of him. Sasuke glared must have been intense because Hinata looked over his was and as discreetly as possible she shook her head. Sasuke could tell was she was trying to say without her uttering a word.
She wanted him to stay where he was and she had things handled.
He didn't like it but he stayed where he was. But there was a small bright side, suddenly Sasuke was more than happy to fight.
Kori sat in a plush chair and made Hinata stand next to him with her hand on his shoulder, like he was a king. When he wasn't looking she couldn't help but roll her eyes. This man's ego knew no bounds. She took a quick glance at Sasuke and saw that he was still staring at her.
Hinata remembered people talking about how the sharingan gaze was intense but Sasuke's was doing a fine job without his kekkei genkai. Hinata wanted nothing more than for those eyes to be looking somewhere else. But she knew exactly why he was staring.
He had seen the small hickey on her collarbone. She tried her best to hide it with her clothes but of course Sasuke had seen and now he was looking at her for answers. She understood. All this was fairly new to Sasuke and he didn't realize that this was part of the plan.
And she would never say it out loud but she thought it was kind of attractive in a way on how Sasuke was reacting. She knew that he wasn't jealous or anything, this was Sasuke Uchiha she was talking about after all. Before this mission they had never really talked. So it was obvious that he wasn't jealous that another man was kissing her. He was just concerned about the mission.
But Hinata's thoughts were brought back to reality when two men walked into the open grass area. It seemed that this little tournament was about to begin.
"The rules are simple." Kori announced. "If you get knocked out, whether its out of the ring or consciousness, you are out. But this does not mean you're fired; just show me your skills."
The first fights weren't very interesting, at least to Hinata. The crowd was eating it up though. Placing bets and cheering for their favorites. But to Hinata it was all little kid stuff. These people were obviously not trained like her or Sasuke. She could find at least ten different ways to disable these men without even breaking a sweat. But this was all good. This was giving both her and Sasuke a chance to see what they were going up against.
Hinata did her best to stifle a yawn as they got ready for the next match but when a man with dirty blonde hair came into the arena, something about him caught her attention. He wasn't walking like the others, he walked with subtle grace that was only learned from years of training. This man, unlike the others, had a history as a ninja. His opponent came in carrying a sword and a smirk.
Without hesitation that swordsman went on the offense, charging straight at the blonde with his sword raised. The blonde didn't seem worried and stepped to the side easily making his opponent slice through the air. While his opponent was trying to rebalance himself, the blonde took the chance and with a simple jab to the neck sent the man into unconsciousness.
The fight was over in less than a minute.
Kori cheered. "Barely even a sweat. Nicely done."
Hinata looked up to grab Sasuke's attention but he was already looking towards her. He gave her a slight nod and she quickly nodded back, understanding his meaning without speaking a word. They would have to keep their eyes on this one.
Hinata's leg was falling asleep and she was ready to get out of this kimono when suddenly everyone around her went silent. She looked up to see Sasuke entering the arena.
People immediately began to whisper.
"Do you know who that is?"
"The Last Uchiha."
"What's he doing here?"
Hinata tried to block out the others and watched intently on Sasuke and more importantly, his opponent. The man was taller than Sasuke but lean with his brown hair tied in a high ponytail. His appearance was not very menacing but the scythe he carried on his back was. It was tall and solid black like it was taken from the Grim Reaper himself.
The man smirked at Sasuke but did not grab for his weapon. While Sasuke stood there looking bored with his hands in his pockets. Hinata wanted to roll her eyes. He could try a little bit to not look like a complete ass.
The two continued to just stand there simply staring at each other until finally Kori lost his patience.
"Anytime now." He called out.
It seemed that Sasuke's opponent lost the staring contest because he was the first one to strike. Sasuke moved out of the way but just in time. His opponent's speed was impressive to say the least. Even Hinata's trained eyes had a hard time keep up with his various attacks. Sasuke was doing his best to dodge but he could only do that for so long before one of his attacks landed. And sure enough, it happened when the guy landed a kick right in Sasuke's side sending him flying. It looked like he was about to be kicked out of the ring but just in the nick of time, Sasuke slid across the ground stopping just before the boundary of the ring.
It seemed that blow had gotten Sasuke's attention and now he went on the offense. From his crouching position he put an extra burst of chakra into this feet and pushed off flying towards his opponent. The man had thought he had won and had his back turned to Sasuke.
Big mistake.
Sasuke landed a blow straight at the man's back which sent him flying across the ring. But just like Sasuke, he had stopped himself just before the edge. He coughed up and small amount of blood but quickly wiped it away and went to grab the scythe while Sasuke went to grab his sword. The crowd was in an uproar.
But Hinata was completely silent, all of her attention engrossed in the battle in front of her. She didn't even notice that Kori's lack of commentary.
The two blades met and sparks flew.
While Sasuke's sword gave him more flexibility in his attacks, the scythe gave his opponent a greater reach. It seemed that both opponents realized that their battle of strength was going nowhere so at the same time, the two of them jumped back. But Sasuke wasn't going to give the guy a chance and went to strike once again.
His opponent swung his scythe but Sasuke obviously anticipated this and just as he was about to be sliced in half, he disappeared and appeared behind the man and went to strike at his neck. But his opponent was not going to give up so easily so with the momentum of his initial swing, his used it to propel him upwards sending a kick straight at Sasuke's jaw which caused him to skid across the ground like a rock across the pond.
Hinata unconsciously took a step forward, which Kori noticed from the corner of his eye. But Sasuke quickly stood up but before he could regain himself his opponent was in front of him, his scythe already in mid-swing.
Sasuke was ready and blocked the attack with his own sword. Sparks few once again but this time it was from Sasuke's own chakra infusing with his sword. His opponent did not waste time and did the same to his scythe and while Sasuke's sword cracked with lightening, his opponent's erupted with fire.
The crowd continued to cheer but it landed on deaf ears and just when it looked like things were going to take a serious turn, Kori stood up.
"ENOUGH!"
Both Sasuke and his opponent looked towards their employer.
Kori smiled as all eyes landed on him. "I have seen enough and I can say you two are more than qualified to move on to the semi-finals."
Sasuke and his opponent relaxed and without another word to each other walked to opposite sides of the arena. Hinata watched as Sasuke left and didn't look back at the crowd as he headed back into town. She wanted to follow him but knew she would have to stay for a bit longer so not to look suspicious.
Sasuke wiped the small line of blood in the corner of his mouth. He didn't even look where he was going. He just knew that he had to get away from everyone. He couldn't believe the match. It should have been easy for him to defeat the guy and yet he only landed one blow while the guy landed two on him.
If that idiot hadn't called an end to the match. Sasuke knew that he would have won but that didn't matter now. The match had ended with a 2 to 1 ratio. Sasuke had lost and he hated losing.
He could only find the reason being that he was out of practice. Before fighting Hinata in the forest, he had not sparred with anyone in a long time. He obvious would need to find someone to work with to put himself back to the level he wanted to be at.
But right at that moment he was too angry with himself for his failure to think too much about whom that could be. Right now he just needed to get back to the hotel and cool off. The fact that he left his mission partner alone in the forest didn't even cross his mind.
Sorry about the fight scenes. I think I have mentioned it early on that I'm not very good with them. Hope this chapter got you excited about this story again. I know I have! Don't worry, the next chapter will be coming out rather soon, I PROMISE!
