Sorry, I haven't been posting lately. Here's the next chapter...
Nicky and I collapse on the couch. We had already gone shopping, and now we had just finished the decorations. "So? Not that bad," I tell her.
She shakes her head. "Yeah, not bad at all. But we should get dressed in our PJ's. The boys'll be here soon."
I nod. "Yeah, okay."
I run upstairs, and slam the door shut behind me. I grab a plain white tunic, put it on, and call it good.
When I walk down the stairs, I see that Nicky is already waiting.
She looks cool in a blue t-shirt and pj bottoms. "What took you so long?" she demands.
"Um, I'm not sure I really know what you're talking about." I admit.
She shakes her head. "Never mind."
I know that she wants me to push this conversation further, but suddenly, the doorbell starts to ring. "Ill get that," I tell her. She nods.
I open the door, and my best friend, Sho Tenma, steps inside, followed by the rest of the gang. "We early?" he asks.
I shake my head. "No, you're all right on time. Let's get this party started."
