So the beginning of the chapter is giving you a basic timeline of where we are in the show sorry if it seems rushed but I wanted to just to let you guys know where exactly we are at which is season two of the vampire diaries.
Elena pushed through the hospital doors Jeremy getting up from his seat she quickly asked, "How is she? is she going to be okay?" Jeremy nodded giving Elena a sense of relief, "Can we go see her?" Her brother nodded his head but gently grabbed her arm, "You need to know who did this and why. Elena it was Katherine and she didn't because she knows about how you and Stefan are really together, you know what you need to do before it gets to serious. Aunt Jenna could have died it's time to choose," Elena felt the tears slide down her cheeks from her eyes and nodded. "Yes I do I'll go right now." She turned away from Jeremy and walked back out of the hospital and got into the car driving towards the Salvatore Boarding house.
When she got there she walked right passed Damon and into the next room where she saw Stefan tears filled his eyes when he faced her, "You know why I am here Stefan I can't keep risking the lives of my family. I mean I love you so much but this needs to stop I am sorry.." Stefan was silent breaking down before her eyes which made her do the same as well, she walked up close to him leaning up on the tip of her toes she gave him a soft peck on the cheek then turned and walked away when she opened the door Damon came from the side, "Elena I am sorry this was all my fault I made Katherine do this." The brunette turned to face him her eyes red and swollen from the tears, "It's nobody's fault but Katherine's and she's won Damon she finally got what she wanted." Elena pulled open the door and walked out of the boarding house.
-Bella's POV-
I woke up the next day with a clearer head then the other day and the stranger that apparently was Elena's friend was far from my mind. My grandmother was happy to hear that I was back to cheerleading, when I walked down to see how my she was fairing today she held up a masquerade mask. "Umm a little too early for halloween gran don't you think?" The older woman laughed shaking her head lightly, "Mystic Falls Mayor always holds a masquerade ball and I figured that maybe you could go I will be there as well and it's a great to meet everyone in town." I raised a brow stepping down the last bit of steps and grabbed the mask holding it up to my face. "I guess it could be fun maybe I can have my friends help me pick something out."
I handed her the mask back and went to grab my backpack "After class I will see if Elena and Bonnie will help out." I walked out of house and out to the car that waited for me in the passenger seat was Bonnie and in the driver was Elena, I got into the backseat and buckled myself in. "So my grandma just told me about the Masquerade Ball at the Mayor's house are you both going?" I asked moving my head in between them both, Elena keeping her eyes on the road started to answer the question, "Bonnie here is but not me I think I am just going to stay in tonight." I nodded my head lightly, " Well I was wondering if you guys would help pick out something for me to where like a little girl time shopping?" They both nodded with a bit of a giggle, "Of course let's just go now for these type of things its going to take all day."
We went to almost every dress shop in Mystic Falls and during the whole time it seemed as though Elena and I were the only one's paying attention to what I would be wearing Bonnie was on her phone constantly. Until she had finally decided to leave saying she needed to start getting ready. Elena helped me pick out a nice dark blue dress that hugged just enough to my frame and blue and silver mask to match with it I already had shoes that would fit perfect with it. We decided to go to lunch and talk more to get to know each other and her life was just as bad maybe even worse than mine after hearing what had happened to her parents.
When we finished she drove me back home and told me to have fun. I thanked her for taking me around town today and helping me find an outfit for tonight then walked into the house. "Hey gran I got something to wear I think its going to look good. " I to look around and saw her finishing up getting ready, "I need to be there early the van is coming to pick me up, how do I look?" I nodded my head in approval, "It looks great I will be there soon are you going to try and stand today or should I set up the wheel chair for you?" She turned to face me with a nod, "Please if you could sweetie." Smiling I walked out to the hall closet and pulled out the wheel chair and folded it out for her hearing a knock on the door. "Grandma they are here to pick you up."
She came out of the bathroom and grabbed her purse that was on the table in the hallway and took a seat in the chair and I pushed her gently towards the door opening it up for her, "Lynn don't you look beautiful for tonight." my grandmother waved her hand about, "It will never happen sonny I like mean my own age. " I let out a bit of laughter and let him take over the chair, "I will see you soon grandma bye." I waited until she was in the van then closed the door heading up stairs to go get ready.
