Chapter 10- The Lisanna Jealousy Starts

Levy POV

I woke up to a loud banging on my door. I tumbled to the ground from being startled so early.

"Levy! Is Lucy with you?" Erza shouted from the other side. I started at the door quizzically before getting up to open it.

"Lu-chan isn't here? Wasn't she in her room?" I asked. Erza's face held a frown as she shook her head.

"No ones seen her since yesterday. And she wasn't in the guild either."

"We should go check Natsu's house, then." I said and slipped on my sandals.

"Do you know the way? I've never been there before." She asked as we'd started walking downstairs.

"Gray or Lisanna should. He never takes anyone else." I said and opened the door. We headed down the hill and towards the guild in search of Lisanna and Gray.

Lisanna POV

I had come early to the guild with Mira-nee to clean up the guild before everyone arrived. A few of the older members were roaming around and getting everything ready for the day. Wakaba walked in with the boys from their dorm for breakfast.

"Ohayo, minna." I smiled and they nodded in my direction or yawned. They all sat at a table in the center as Enno poured them cereal.

"Isn't Natsu usually with you guys?" I asked as I walked up to them.

"He wasn't waiting outside the dorms like usual." Gray shrugged. Erza and Levy opened the door and came straight towards me.

"Morning, you two." I greeted them.

"Good morning, Lisanna," Levy said with a smile. "Would you mind taking us to Natsu's house? Lucy didn't come back last night and we can't find her anywhere else."

"Eh? Lucy's missing?" Gray asked as he jumped in the conversation.

"I'd be glad to take you." I smiled and walked over to Mira-nee to tell her where I was going.

"Don't stray off the path. You know what kinds of things are in that forest." Mira warned from behind the counter.

"I'll be fine." I waved to her and walked back over to Levy and Erza.

"I want to go with you guys too." Gray said and chugged down the rest of his food.

"You're just going to start a fight with Natsu when we get there." Levy pouted as we left the guild.

"Am not! If he has Lucy then I want to make sure he didn't set her on fire." He grumbled.

"On fire?! I didn't even think of that outcome! Lisanna, pick up the pace!" Erza screamed and grabbed my hand, running into the forest.

"E-Erza!"

Normal POV

The four arrived at Natsu's cottage with only a few minutes delay because of Erza's excessive running in circles.

"Natsu! Are you home?" Gray shouted at the door. There was a silence through the forest, only the birds making noise.

"It looks open." Levy said as she turned the doorknob. The children flooded in and were met with the surprisingly clean floor.

"Eh? Natsu's house is usually so messy..." Lisanna said and looked dumbfounded.

"I can actually see the floor! This is a miracle." Gray said with wide eyes.

"Maybe Lucy helped him." Levy said and walked further into the house. They all followed the script mage through a door that was most likely the bedroom.

"So she was here." Erza said and looked at the hammock with soft eyes. Lucy laid peacefully next to Natsu, who had curled up next to the celestial mage and had his arms protectively wrapped around her. Happy sat in between them and stretched his legs while yawning before looking at the four. He waved to them and fell over as his tiredness took over.

"What a weird neko," Gray said and approached them. "Oi! You need to wake up!"

Lucy panicked when she heard the loud noise and let out a small scream. Natsu, figuring that she was in danger, shot up and punched the ice mage in the face.

"Natsu! Why'd you do that?!" Lisanna shouted and ran to Gray's side.

"E-Eh? What's going on?" Lucy asked and sat up. She rubbed her eyes before realizing who was in front of her.

"I was sleeping..." Natsu whined and pulled Lucy back down with him. "C'mon let's sleep, Luce."

"Natsu! This is no time for sleep!" Erza growled and swung the hammock, causing the three to fall to the floor with a loud thud. She quickly pulled Lucy away from the clingy dragon boy and glared at him. "You had Lucy all night and everyone was worried."

"Gomen Erza, that was my fault. I got tired after we cleaned. I don't even remember falling asleep." Lucy said as she looked up at the angry swordsman.

"Why did you clean up so much anyways?" Lisanna asked Natsu as he sat up and scratched his head.

"Lucy was upset that we couldn't have dinner properly at the table and we somehow ended up cleaning everything." Natsu shrugged.

"Well whatever the reason, we need to take Lucy home now. You'll see us at the guild later." Erza said and began to drag the confused blonde out.

"Bye Happy, Natsu!" Lucy said quickly as she stumbled over her own feet. Lisanna and Levy followed after and shut the door quietly.

Gray POV

"You any Lucy seem closer now." I smirked as Natsu stood up.

"Shut up, ice breath. That just means that you can't have her." Natsu sneered.

"Never said I did, flame head." I frowned and subconsciously squeezed the good luck charm in my pocket. Natsu glared at me and climbed back into his hammock.

"You can stick around but I'm going to sleep more." He mumbled and snores soon followed. I watched as Happy followed his lead and floated up onto his 'father's' head.

"Since when could he fly...?"

Levy POV

We made our way back to Fairy Hills in no time and Cana greeted us at the door.

"Oh, you found her." The fortune teller said and looked at me with a smirk.

"I stayed over at Natsu's..." Lucy said and blushed a little.

"Did anything happen when you were with him, Lu-chan?" I asked excitedly.

"N-No! We just cleaned and had dinner." She said quickly.

"I think you're hiding something." Cana said and got in her face. Lucy's face exploded with a blush and she pushed away the brunette.

"A-Am not!"

"We'll just have to make you say it." Erza grinned and ran up the stairs. Cana and I laughed and followed behind her.

Lucy POV

"You can tell me, Lucy-chan." Lisanna smiled. I jumped slightly, forgetting that she was in the room.

"I-It's nothing, really." I reassured and smiled. Lisanna frowned and grabbed my hands in hers.

"But aren't we friends?" She asked.

"Its really nothing." I whispered and looked at the floor. I didn't feel comfortable around Lisanna. She always had a pushy and annoying aura that kept me away. She reluctantly let go of my hands and sighed.

"Oh, your shoes are missing!" She pointed out. I looked at my feet and saw that they were indeed gone.

"I must've left them at Natsu's house." I frowned. The take over mage pushed a piece of paper into my arms and lead me out the door.

"That's a map to Natsu's. Make sure to take a left at the big sakura tree and you should be fine." She said and hurriedly made me leave.
