Kyoya kept standing in front of Akito until Yuki gripped his arm. "It's okay." he said.
Akito moved past Kyoya and to Yuki. "Is there something you wanna tell me?" he asked. Yuki froze, "No." he answered.
Kyo held onto Tohru as Akito turned to them. "So if your friends with Yuki then you must know a few things about this family." Akito said. "I know enough." Kyoya answered. Yuki pulled on Kyoya's arm to back off.
"We'll see." Akito said.
That entire hour was a mad house, Akito now knew that Yuki, Kyo, and Tohru knew the members of powerful families with wealth and power. Yuki sat up straight in his bed with Kyo and Tohru sitting next to him.
"So, now you don't change when Tohru hugs you?" Yuki questioned. "I don't know how it works anymore Yuki, maybe Akito did something." he said. Yuki looked up at Tohru who shrugged. "Did Kyoya say anything before he left?" she asked.
"No, I didn't even know what to say to him. I couldn't tell what he was thinking." Yuki said. He looked out the window.
"You're deep in thought, what's wrong?" Kyo asked.
"This isn't right...I don't wanna put Kyoya through this. I can't even call him my boyfriend cause I don't want Akito to find out." he explained. "You calling him your boyfriend now?" Kyo asked.
Yuki looked down at the floor and then stood up from the bed, "Not anymore." he said.
"Yuki!" Tohru shouted, but Yuki had already walked outta the room.
"He's gonna end it with Kyoya." Tohru said.
Kyo looked around, "Maybe he should."
"What?" Tohru questioned.
"Maybe I should too." he added. Tohru's face dropped, as she stared at Kyo a little harder. "What does that mean?" she questioned.
"Akito's never gonna let anyone in the Sohma family be happy, not me, not Yuki, not anyone. Especially not with romantic relationships. You've seen what he did to Hatori." Kyo said. Tohru felt some tears gathering in her eyes, "Kyo..."
"I think it's better if we...I guess...don't continue this." he said. Tohru gasped as the tears came falling down her cheeks. Kyo couldn't stand to see her cry, so he quickly got up and bolted from the room hurrying down the stairs pass Yuki.
"Whoa. Kyo!" Yuki shouted, he then hurried up the stairs to see Tohru crying, holding her chest. Her heart. Yuki sighed and shook his head.
"Kyo! You better not be tearing up my house!" shouted Shigure from downstairs. Kyo jumped up on the top of the house and curled himself into a ball. A few tears coming from his eyes.
The next day, Yuki was walking up the sidewalk to Kyoya's house. His hands were trembling, his heart pumping, and he had to keep rubbing his arms to make himself feel better about what he was about to do.
He knocked on the door, and his heart almost stopped when Kyoya answered the door. "Hey." Kyoya said stepping outside of the house. Kyoya pulled Yuki into a hug as Yuki gripped Kyoya tightly.
"What's wrong? You're squeezing me." Kyoya said pulling back. Yuki sniffed a bit, wiping his nose. "Um." He started to say. "Is Akito still there?" Kyoya asked. "No, no he left. But, do you see why I was hesitant about introducing you to him or even my family for that matter." he said. Kyoya gulped a bit, "Is he always that protective? or abusive?" he asked.
"Kyoya..." Yuki tried.
"What Yuki? He's abusive, plain and simple. How are you going to justify that?" Kyoya said. Yuki was panicking, he just wanted to get this over with. At the same time, he didn't want to do what he was about to do.
"I can't." he said. "What? Protect your family? You saw the way he was pushing around Momiji." Kyoya started to say.
"I think we should break up." Yuki finally blurted. Kyoya stopped and looked him in the eyes. "What?" his voice almost cracked which made Yuki wanna take it all back.
"Break up? Didn't know we were an official couple yet." Kyoya's voice hardened which scared Yuki.
"Kyoya..." Yuki begged.
Kyoya's face changed to pure irritation. "Have a nice life Yuki." Kyoya said before disappearing back into the house...leaving Yuki in the dust...
Yuki stood there for about three minutes, before he finally managed to turn around and walk down the street with a stunned face. He didn't finally sadden his face until he got home. He covered his mouth, slid down the side of the house, but the tears didn't come. The panting did, the lump in his throat, and his heart cracking in two did too.
Kyo came around the corner and saw Yuki on the floor in heart breaking pain. He sighed, rubbed his arm, but went inside the house. He honestly didn't know what to do to help Yuki.
"Is something wrong?" Tamaki asked with Haruhi sitting across from him on the couch at his house.
"I can't believe what we saw at their house. That man." Haruhi said. "Yeah, some head of the family." Tamaki said handing her a cup of tea. "Thanks," she said, "I can't believe it, that they go through that."
"I hate that we can't really help them out, like get them outta there." he said. "Why not?" Haruhi asked. "Cause they aren't our family. We shouldn't be getting involved in their stuff, but...god I don't wanna let this go. It's not fair." Tamaki said. Haruhi looked up at him. "The way he just pushed around Momiji, beat Kyo for being with Tohru, and the way Kyoya was up in his face." he went on.
"you concerned? For kyoya?" she asked.
"Yeah, he called me earlier." Tamaki said. "What'd he say?" she asked. "Yuki stopped their relationship. He's pretty upset about it, so we're gonna hang out tomorrow after school so I'm gonna leave you in charge of club." Tamaki said.
"Why me?" Haruhi asked.
"You're the only one I would trust with something so dear. And besides, my friend needs me." Tamaki said. Haruhi smiled, "That's one thing I do love about you." she said.
Tamaki looked up at her with his blue eyes. "You're always looking after everyone." she smiled. Tamaki grinned back at her as Haruhi put her cup down. She stood up, walked around the coffee table and stood next to him.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
She sighed, "You're amazing. I use to think you were just a big goofball when I you and obnoxious." she said. He chuckled a bit. "But getting to know you, you're a special kind of person Tamaki. Those, once in a lifetime people.." she said.
"Funny, I always thought that was you." he said.
Haruhi smiled brightly, got closer, and leaned in pressing her lips right on Tamaki's.
His eyes went up in shock a bit, but he kissed back. He reached his hand up cupping the side of her face as it got a bit more intense. And more passionate.
Haruhi moved closer and straddled Tamaki's lap. He held her by the hips as she cupped his face kissing him more and more passionately. "Mm." he grunted a bit trying to readjust himself so he wouldn't poke her.
"It's okay." she said breaking away from the kiss.
She reached down and started to unbutton his shirt, pushing it off his shoulders. Tamaki shimmied out of the shirt as Haruhi pulled her own shirt off.
However, Tamaki stopped her there.
Not yet.
