A/N: So I'm kind of getting a sense of where I wanna go with this story. Those who have been following way back when, thank you for sticking with me. Those who just now joined in…I know, it was a really rough start. But I'm trying to redeem myself now. So enjoy, review, & subscribe ! : )

Olivia was absentmindedly twirling her hair around her forefinger, contemplating, when her stomach growled. It's amazing she was so skinny considering she ate like a man all the time. She was considering going on a diet but she might have to put that off until she gained some solid ground on this new case.

She couldn't call Amanda because that may spook her and make her run away. She'd have to pay her a visit. Grabbing her laptop, she typed in her number and was able to find a couple of profiles on her. She studied her various profiles and discovered that Amanda was born Amy Tanner. She had a younger sibling who committed suicide after years of being bullied. They both were teased relentlessly in school for being the poorest kids in town but Amanda was able to make it through. Most times she fought back but her younger sister wasn't as strong as she was. Does she have issues pertaining to her sister's death? Olivia wondered. Their financial state would explain her gold-digging ways at least. She happened to have her home number listed on her facebook and she used that to get her address.

As a treat, Olivia ordered a meat lover's pizza for dinner. Like she said, she'd start her diet later even though she said that a lot.

After her pizza arrived she ate and laid out some clothes for tomorrow and decided to take a bubble bath. Afterwards, she donned her favorite t-shirt from her high school days and went to sleep.

The Next Day…

Olivia awoke with an abundance of energy. She was about to do what she did best, what she was born for and that is bringing people to justice. She hastily got dressed and placed a call to the hospital to check on Fitz. She wasn't ready to face him yet and he most likely still didn't want to see her. She gave a taxi driver Amanda's address and looked out the window, taking in the sights. Amanda had done really well for herself. Or rather, Fitz. She had a strong suspicion that she was the source of the missing money from his account.

When she knocked she stepped away from the peephole so that Amanda couldn't try to ignore her. When she opened the door Olivia barged inside her apartment.

"What the hell are you doing here? How did you find me?" Amanda demanded.

"Amanda, or shall I say Amy, we need to talk," Olivia said with a devilish gleam in her eyes.

Amanda's mouth fell open. No one knew that name except for those from her past and she had worked so hard all of her adult life to run away from that past. She stumbled backwards until her legs hit the couch and she plopped down. Olivia took this opportunity to step closer to her.

"I've never liked you. From the moment I saw you sitting across from my… from Fitz. Call it jealousy if you want to but I know a snake when I see one. I'm not leaving her until I get answers and don't try to bullshit me because I have half a mind to rip your little ass to shreds. Try me if you want to. Now, first things first, your family. Where are they now?" Olivia was on fire.

"I don't know. I left them behind and never looked back as soon as I was old enough to leave. They never loved me."

"Are you mad, you seem mad? Perhaps you blamed them for your sister's death. Yeah I know about that. It changed you didn't it? Every good person has that one thing that makes them go bad, that was yours. But I don't understand something. How did Fitz get into this? You should know I won't rest until you pay for this. You try to hurt him and you have to deal with me."

Amanda's eyes watered as she broke down. "I was going to leave. I swear I was but I met this guy and he was so nice. He convinced me, he said that it was a win-win for us both. But when I tried to back out he wouldn't let me. He said we were in this together and if he had to rot in hell that I would be joining him. I had no one to turn to. So he told me about his plan to help get Sally Langston into office and leave me a rich woman. I was so stupid, I didn't know he was supposed to get hurt until the last minute. I'm so sorry."

Olivia just stared at her blankly. "Are those tears supposed to make me feel bad? You've destroyed his life Amanda. He may never walk again because of you. Was it worth it? Because I'm sure you haven't and you wont be getting what you wanted out of this. I'll make sure of it!"

"Wait! What if I give you a name? I'll help you. But I need protection. Can you guarantee that? I need to know before I say anything else," Amanda tried to reason with Olivia.

Olivia thought about it for a few minutes then said, "Okay. I'll help you. But I need to check out the name you give me. It better be legit or YOU wont be able to walk. An eye for an eye or in this case, a leg for a leg."

"Billy Chambers. That's the name he goes by but it's highly possible that it is not his real name. Check him out. He works behind the scenes on Sally Langston's campaign so as to go unnoticed when he does his dirt. He's been taking funds from one of Fitz' accounts, I can't prove it but if you find it to be true then you'll know that I am not lying about him. I heard him discussing it on the phone one night," she hastily explained.

"Okay. I'll be in touch. It's in your best interest to answer when I call but if not I know where you live."

With that Liv walked out of her apartment. The thrill she got when she was talking to her had her on a high. Finally, she was getting somewhere and she didn't have to physically hurt anyone. Just a few well placed threats and Amanda was practically singing like a canary. That thought killed her high as she thought about the potential danger that could mean. If she got her to talk there's no telling what others could do. Especially that Billy character. If Amanda were smart she wouldn't say a word about this visit.

When Olivia got home she did an online search on Billy but only got the basics. He was a rabid Republican who thought way too highly of himself and maybe even higher of Mrs. Langston. She would definitely need some contacts from high places to get the info about his bank accounts. But so far Amanda was telling the truth. She couldn't trust her just yet though, as easily as she found that information is the same way Amanda could have. Amanda's life was contingent upon those bank statements now.
