"LET THE EVERGRANDE CITY POKEMON LEAGUE BEGIN!"
the crowd cheered loudly.
"This year we have 6 special competitors!" He pints to the podium with 6 young trainers all between 11 and 15, "From Pallet Town, The Virdian City gym leader and Kanto League Champ, it's BLUE!" He points to Blue, the 15 year-old wearing hisold travel outfit consisting of a purple shirt, and a blue cape. "Blue waved o the crowd, and tossed an empty Premier Ball into he crowd, which to is dismay, caused all the girls, and some guy named Brock who was caught in the stampede while flirting, be sent to the hospital. It had turned out that the ball had broken in the rage too.
"Well now that that is out of the way, here are the Johto Champs! From Pallet Town and Cerulean Cape in Kanto, it's Katelin and Jacob!" Me and Katelin are standing back-to-back, each of us making a 'V' with our middle and index fingers. I'm wearing my usual clothes. Katelin on the other hand, is wearing a purple T-shirt and a pair of yellow short-shorts.
"From our own Hoenn League, daughter of Norman, from Littleroot town, it's MAY MAPLE!" May, waving, is wearing a green shirt with a black stripe down the middle, a green bandana, and a pair of green shorts.
"From the Sinnoh League, hailing from Twinleaf Town, it's DAWN!" Dawn, waving like everyone else, is wearing a black shirt, red windpants (never liked the whole idea of a skirt with no shorts or anything =P) a white hat over her long blue hair, and a red scarf.
"and finally, the trainer who just surpassed the previous champion Iris, Representing the Unova League, from Celadon City in Kanto, it's GREEN!"
A girl in a red outfit, wearing a red hat on her blond-haired head, stands on the last podium spot. She blows a kiss to Blue. His eye noticeably twitches, and Katelin tenses. (A\N: going with her VG style, never liked the idea of a con artist)
the board shows the matchups. Blue looks at his teamate for the tag-team battles.
"Of course..."
he was with Green.
My battle partnered with Katelin was first.
"Let's see... I'll use Thundercrack, Eve, and Fireblaze!"
Katelin picks her pokemon
"I'll use Mew, Rai, and Flare,"
*Time Skip*
"BEGIN BATTLE!"
"Go Eve!"
"and Jacob starts off with a Shiny Umbreon!"
Eve's blue rings gleamed in the sunlight. A picture of an Umbreon appears next to my name. Katelin has Flare out. Our opponents are a Leafeon and an Espeon.
"I got the Espeon,"
Katelin nods.
I think of a strategy, and remember Eve loves bitter food.
"Eve sweet dreams combo!"
Eve nods and uses Hypnosis on the Espeon. He falls asleep, and Eve then uses Nightmare. Once the nightmare causes some damage, Eve finishes with Dream Eater, sucking the dream away. The bitter taste caused by the nightmare delighted Eve. The Espeon had taken serious damage.
"Espie Hyper Beam!"
"Dig Eve!"
Eve dug into the ground just in time, dodging the beam. She then jumped out of the ground, smashing into the Espeon. It went down for good.
"AND RICARDO IS OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT!"
"Flare Flamethrower!"
The Flareon spewed a wall of fire, roasting the Leaf pokemon to a crisp.
"AND DAKOTA IS OUT!"
"God damn it," He said as he left
*time skip*
"AND ITS TIME FOR THE SEMI-FINALS! AFTER MAY'S ELIMINATION, THE HOENN SECTION HAS LOST ALL LOVE FOR THIS TOUNAMENT!" That was true. I had eliminated her in round 2. "AND HERE IS THE FIRST SEMI-FINAL MATCHUP! IT'S...BLUE VS. KATELIN!"
The crowd cheers really loud, more likely for the hot guy they call Blue. The judges flipped a coin (You know, the ones with a Magikarp's head on the front and an Eevee's tail on the back). "CALL IT TRAINERS!"
"HEADS!" Blue yelled. It stopped on...
"EEVEE TAIL! BLUE GOES FIRST!"
"Just because I'm your boyfriend doesn't mean I'll go easy on you Kat!"
"Neither will I, Blue-Kun!"
Meanwhile...
"THEY'RE DATING?"
"yeah been doin' it for a year or so," I replied
Green fell to the floor crying.
Katelin's POV
Here we go!
"Go Rhyperior!"
A large rocky dinosaur thing appeared.
Startin out strong Blue? Always a weak point of your's. a Rock/Ground should be an easy win
"GO! Vapor!"
My Vaporeon appeared, lazily getting into a battle stance.
"Rhyperior, Rock Wrecker!"
"Vapor, Aqua Jet!"
Using the Aqua Jet attack, Vapor managed to dodge.
"Hydro Pump!" A huge funnel of water came out of Vapor's mouth, and being 4x effective, KO'd it immediately.
"Rhyperior Return! Mismagius go! Use Thunderbolt!" (A/N: Don't know if it learns this, if it can't PM me so i can edit it, thx!)
The purple ghost appeared, and quickly released the bolt of electricity, knocking out Vapor.
Vapor's defense was always low
A/N: Screw this! Let's just skip it, it's just a bunch of ties. here are their last four pokemon.
"Go Pidgeot!" Blue yelled.
"Chari! Let's go!"
The Pidgeot and Charizard appear, preparing.
"Chari Blast Burn!"
A Rainbow colored Fire began forming in Chari's mouth.
'Pidgeot, drill Peck!'
However, Chari's attack hit first, sending the Pidgeot into a critical state.
"Pidgeot, Fury Attack!"
Letting it's rage take over, the Pidgeot shot at the Charizard and viciously pecked dozens of times, until Blaze finally activated.
"Pidgeot! Brave Bird!"
A blue aura surrounded the hawk, and it slammed into Chari, knocking it out. But recoil caused it to faint itself.
"Saved the best for last! Go Blastoise!"
"Mew Battle time!'
The entire crowd gasped as Mew appeared.
"Blastoise, Hydro Cannon!"
"Mew Protect!"
The shield caused the water to ricochet into the air and fall back as a light mist. Blue paled at the sight of his most powerful Pokemon's ultimate move did nothing.
'Mew, Frenzy Plant!"
Well now Blue was just screwed. The roots just constricted Blastoise, who was recovering from Hydro Cannon, until it fainted.
"AND KATELIN WILL MOVE ONTO THE FINALS!"
the crowd started cheering, except the Hoenn section, who were pissed after Jacob eliminated May in round 2.
"TOMORROW, THE FINAL BATTLE OF THE SEMI-FINALS WILL BEGIN WITH JACOB AND GREEN! THEN AFTER LUNCH, THE FINAL BATTLE WILL TAKE PLACE!"
