Hello, fellow humans, it is I, Man of Cartoons, bringing you another fantastic chapter. Today, I'm going alien (Is that even a sentence) and I'm going to vaporize my inferiors (kill some ants in an ant hill close to my house). Enjoy this chapter while I'm gone or I'll vaporize you as well.

Chapter 10: Cul-de-sac under siege Part 2: Entering dangerous fusion lair.

The fight for the Cul-de-sac continues. The sounds of a battle between Fusions and earth's defense forces continued. Already, fusions matter littered the streets and grass, along with dead bodies of those who weren't lucky. It seems neither side was winning, but the Fusions kept coming the more they were taken down.

Above the battle field, the Galvanic Mechamorph, Ship in his big mode, flew across the air, heading to his next destination. Inside him, Ms. Zodiac and Alex Wildstrike sat at the cockpit with Blossom typing some commands into ship. It wasn't long the view before them showed a large fusion ship in the sky before them.

Ship came to a halt, knowing they've already gotten close to their destination. Blossom then pressed a button and the seats Ms. Zodiac and Alex went down along with them.

Blossom looked down through the chutes, "Good luck." She said, knowing the two would already hear here.

Outside of Ship, his two main guns fired two capsules into the air. The capsules created drills at the top, allowing it to drill through the giant ship without being sensed or noticed. Having done his job, Ship flew off the opposite direction.

Inside Fusion destroyer, the massive holes in the ship healed itself, since it was partly organic. The capsules that caused it, opened up, allowing Ms. Zodiac and Alex to climb out.

"So this is what Fusion Destroyer looks like from the inside." Alex glanced around them, though he wasn't fascinated by it. The area looked like any fusion lair that was underground, except that the walls were green and made of iron. There were green vines that ran through the halls and some smaller terrafusers around.

"C'mon let's go." Alex gestured and walked through the corridor.

Ms. Zodiac only nodded in silence before following him. They continued going, being careful not to get caught. Luckily, there were no security cameras which were the good thing. The bad thing was the fusions walking about, most likely the guards. Some of the Fusions were some recognized in Tech Square, Peach Creek Estate and Sector V.

It wasn't easy for the duo to avoid them. As they continued, they would both kill the fusion silently and absorb his fusion matter into Taros for their Nanocoms to avoid suspicions or make them utterly confused by hitting the other at the head, while they ran the opposite way when the fusion turned.

Eventually, they walked into a smaller corridor, which wasn't bad. It meant that larger fusions won't be guarding the area.

"We need to find a map." After a while of mindless moving, she said.

"You're right." Alex nodded and began looking around skeptically, "If I was a map of this place where would I be?"

"How about looking behind you." Said a strange voice.

"Ha ha, very funny, Winter." Alex said, still not facing her.

"That wasn't me." Ms. Zodiac, knowing danger drew out her Block pistol and held it tightly.

Alex got into a fighting stance; hand over his Nanocom to summon his Nano. Though apart from each other, they surveyed their area but found nothing that could have said that voice.

But when Alex faced the wall closely, a green face formed out, "Booo!" Out of fright, Alex shrieked as he walked away. He quickly got over it as the face fully came out of the wall to reveal Fusion Ben, the evil fusion counterpart of Ben Tennyson.

Upon seeing both their battle faces, the fusion grins, "Look who came on board the Fusion destroyer, two worthless humans."

"Worthless?!" Alex gritted his teeth angrily.

"Yes worthless." Fusion Ben said it like it was the most obvious thing, "I would have considered if any of you were a gatekeeper, I have a score to fix against Kaden Thunderecho. But until then…" He reached into his Fusion Omnitrix, activating it as he selected through Fusion aliens, "I'll have fun making you bleed."

Immediately, he slammed the watch and was engulfed in a flash of green light. When the light ceased, standing in Fusion Ben's place was a humanoid fusion magma-based alien with a body composed of bright inner magma-fusion body covered in dark red rocks.

"Fusion Heatblast!" He shouted before firing a fire blast at Alex.

However, Alex leapt out of the way and stood in a fighting stance. He shifted his hand to the side of his Nanocom and pressed a button. As intended, in a flash of light, Nano Johnny Test floated.

"I'm back!" He cried out, "Who wants some?"

His response was a fire ball that nearly hit him. He diverted his attention to the fusion before him and cocked a grin as he understood what to do.

"Hey, Fusion!" He shouted, getting Fusion Heatblast attention, "eat this." With that, he punched the air, firing wind blast at the fusion. The first hit Fusion Heatblast by the chest, before the second hit the stomach and sent him flying a few feet away, "Aw Yeah!" He fist pumped in victory.

But that was short lived as Fusion Heatblast was engulfed in a flash of green light. The trio watched as the light died down to reveal a green glowing plant alien with red eyes.

"Fusion Swampfire!" The alien cried out, standing before them with its fists ready to fire.

"Ah men." Nano Johnny whined.

The fusion's palms formed green hot flames and he fired at them. The trio quickly dodged the blasts, but that was just a close call. The fusion turned his attention at Ms. Zodiac and snickered. Instead of firing directly at her, he shoots her ground, causing her to fall.

Alex saw this and snarled, "Johnny, take him down!"

The Nano nodded sternly, knowing what he's master and friend meant. He flew straight to the fusion before he could shoot another and threw a fast punch at his face. The fusion was knocked to a wall.

"Seriously, dude. You attack a girl, that's just low." The Nano shook his head lowly.

Fusion Swampfire snickered as a thought came to mind, "Funny, that's what the last thing said to me."

"Who?"

"You!" The Fusion jumps back to his feet and shot a fire blast.

Nano Johnny yelped in surprise, but flew out of the way of the attack, "Did you just call me a thing?" From the sound of his voice, the Nano wasn't pleased. However, he wasn't answered as Fusion Swampfire continued shooting more fire blasts at him. But rather than running, Nano Johnny hovered, eyes closed like he was meditating.

Fusion Swampfire gasped at what he saw next. His fire blast froze before the Nano, not even during a single harm on him. The Nano then snapped his eyes open, eyes glaring at the Fusion. He pushed his hand forward, sending the fire blasts and a massive hurricane attack at the Fusion.

Fusion Swampfire was hit by his own blasts and was thrown off his feet and knocked against a wall. In matter of seconds, he was engulfed in a flash of green light before turning into fusion matter.

"Thanks, Johnny." Alex said, walking towards him with Ms. Zodiac behind.

"No prob." Nano Johnny chuckled and then pointed at the fusion matter, "Isn't anyone going to get a new Nano."

Alex smiled and nodded to Johnny. He walked towards the puddle and pointed his Nanocom at it. The device flashed and a blue beam of light hit the puddle. In a flash of colored light, a Nano resembling Ben floated.

"What's up?"

"Welcome aboard, Ben Nano." Alex said before he pressed a button at the side and both Nanos disappeared.

Ms. Zodiac stood a few meters from him, wondering about the previous fight. She never seen a Nano show such power, especially beating a Fusion as strong as Fusion Ben.

"How's your Nano able to do that?" She asked.

Alex perked up, "Haven't you heard of unstable Nanos. Well, Johnny is an unstable Nano which means he packs a lot more power than other nanos. I think Dexter once said it was to enhance the battle field for fighters. Don't you have a Nano Johnny?"

"Currently not." She shook her head.

Alex shifted from her, eyeing the place Fusion Ben once laid. Now that he thought about it, even an unstable Nano like Johnny test couldn't have the ability to defeat Fusion Ben so easily. Fusion Ben was rated as the number three strongest fusion in battle, so how was Nano Johnny able to defeat a high rank Fusion. Then it occurred to him.

"That wasn't Fusion Ben." He said out of his thoughts.

"What?" Ms. Zodiac asked.

He pointed at the place Fusion Ben was killed, "That Fusion Ben was a duplicate. I think this might have been a trap by the real deal."

"So what do we do?"

"We set up the bombs Blossom gave us. Even if it means taking out our lives in the process." He kept a stern look on his face, shifting his sight to the wall Fusion Ben came through. He remained silent as he got to the wall and pressed his hand in and was surprise that it sank in.

Ms. Zodiac stared at him, confused by his action. She felt slightly disgusted when she noticed his hand sink into the organ wall, "Um, what are you doing?"

Alex didn't answer as he pushed his hand further into the wall. He felt something and pulled his hand slowly before turning to her, "Come with me." With his other hand, he grabbed her wrist and ran into the wall. It allowed him to enter smoothly with a clearly surprise Winter flowing.

As they passed through the wall, they came upon a large area. Besides its fusion looking self like the halls, it actually was a lab. There were some glass capsules, some machinery at the other and a large computer.

Ms. Zodiac froze in place, looking around the area with curiosity, "What is this place?"

"A fusion lab, but the question is which fusion." As he answered he walked to the computer. Luckily, unlike his best friend William Bowman, Alex was well trained at computers. He typed some commands into the computer and not long a well diagram drawing of Fusion Destroyer came up, "I've found it. Winter, send your Dexter Nano to check the area for us, I don't think Fusion Ben would not notice one of his duplicate absence."

Ms. Zodiac nodded sternly and reached to her Nanocom. She pressed the side button and in a flash of light a smaller version of Dexter appeared, hovering above her shoulder.

"What do you need, Mistress."

"I need you to scout the outer area of this place and alert us if any fusion." She instructed.

The Nano nodded and disappeared in a flash of blinding light.

As the Nano left, Alex's Nanocom bing, alerting him that the diagram was downloaded, "Yes, the download is complete." He confirmed as he displayed his Nanocom to his face, "Now all we have to do is destroy the source of the visibility cloak, set up the explosives and get out of here."

"Only if that was simple." Said a female monotone voice, briefly surprising them.

Before they could react, a large vine wrapped around them, pulling them off the ground and Winter to drop her weapon. They tried struggling out of it, but the vine was stronger than it looked. They heard a hovering sound below them and looked down to see who it was. Hovering a few meters off the ground was a being made of Fusion matter in a feminine form. Her whole body was fusion matter, though she had a humanoid form, she was also part machine as her hips, chest, shoulder and head was metal with dark glowing eyes. This fusion was none other than Fusion Computress.

"Let us go, Fusion!" Alex yelled.

However, instead of the Fusion replying, a green goop formed into a single form. It shaped into a form known to everybody in both Fusionfall universe and the real world. The fusion was known as Fusion Dexter.

The fusion looked up at them, a wicked grin on his face as his hands were behind his back, "She doesn't have to do anything unless I permit her."

"So what are you? The real thing or a copy." Winter asked, shooting a glare at the two.

"What do you think." The fusion answered, pleased as he raised an eyebrow.

Alex and Winter stared dumbstruck by the news. Even if they had faced fusion counterparts, they've never thought about encountering the actual Fusion Dexter. It was said that Fusion Dexter was always one step ahead of his foe and knew everything that needed to know. He was also good at any combat and is said to rival the Fusion Powerful Puff girls and Fusion Ben Tennyson. He was said to be so powerful that he was once of the fusions that were rarely killed, which was Agent Bannon, one of the Gatekeepers.

"You come into my lab and think I would leave it defenseless." The fusion chuckled, "I'm a genius after all."

"Then what about Professor Plutonium?" Alex asked

"He's smart in his aspect." As he said this, he turned his back at them and snapped his fingers.

Computress understood and her eyes glowed. Immediately, the vine suspending them from the ground lowered and released them. The two teens were shocked but still active to act fast. Quickly, Winter grabbed her Block pistol from the ground and pointed it at Fusion Dexter. Seeing the weapon, Computress's eyes tensed, beginning to power up and fire if she shot him.

"That won't be necessary." Fusion Dexter suddenly said, his back still facing them. He turned back at them, not a fear on his face when he saw the gun, "Do you really think you can murder me with only one shot?" At the last part, he perked his eyebrow at them.

Alex looked to Winter, wondering what she would do next. As much as he would love to kill the fusion before him, the fusion had a point. Fusion Dexter was basically trained to fight and even if they attacked and killed the fusion, they were still in Fusion Destroyer and the other Fusion Guides will be suspicious absent and besides it's not like he can revived back later on, he can.

There was so much tension in the lab as all eyes were on Winter. She had the gone which meant she would make the first move. She had a determined look on her face as the pistol was pointed directly at the Fusion Dexter's forehead. But she didn't pull the trigger. She put the away back, regretting her hesitation.

"C'mon!" Alex ran off, grabbing her wrist. As fast as they could, they ran through the same wall they came through, leaving behind the two powerful fusions.

"They make an excellent couple, don't they, My dear." Fusion Dexter asked.

Though she couldn't show emotion on her face since she's an android, she answered, "Indeed."

******************************(LINE BREAK)*************

Through the corridor, Alex and Ms. Zodiac ran, trying to put much distance from them and Fusion Dexter lab. After running for five minutes, they came to a halt and panted slightly due to exhaustion.

"I think we've put distance from them." Winter said as she looked away from Alex.

Alex breathed a sigh of relief and stood close to Ms. Zodiac. At that moment, he regretted running away. He never ran from danger, no matter what it was, but apparently he did.

"What's wrong?" Ms. Zodiac showed a curious and concerned look. His regret had spread to his face, a look of anger in its form that is.

"It's just that we ran away, we could have taken him."

"No, we couldn't." She responded by increasing her tone, "If you're forgetting even the Gatekeepers had a hard time fighting that fusion in the past. I don't think we could beat him."

However, the look on Alex face said otherwise. He pressed the face of his Nanocom and a big pistol like gun appeared in his hand, the gun was known as a G.U.M.Z.O.O.K.A. He gripped it in his hand firmly as he looked at Winter with a more serious look, "I can tell you one thing, if we encounter him or anyone like him, I'm taking it out."

**********************(LINE BREAK)***************

Quiet and cautiously, they walked through the halls, taking careful steps. Despite that Alex has the coordinates; they couldn't just rush to the place. Fusion Dexter would most likely put the ship on red alert, but that was a hunch.

"You know, maybe he didn't alert them." Alex came to a halt, noticing again the lack of fusion guards.

But sensing something out of the odd, Winter Zodiac sprung into action. She grabbed Alex by the wrist and pulled him, just as a fusion goo hit the ground he once stood.

Alex laughed chuckled as he noticed the glare Winter giving him, "Um…I kind of jinxed us, didn't I?"

"You think." She replied, letting go of Alex and running the opposite direction to avoid another blast. Alex did the same and took cover behind a small pillar by the wall. The two fighters peeked through and saw Dire apes charging their way. These fusions were huge and were considered dangerous, that is if you weren't Alex and Winter.

Without saying a word, Winter charged and opened fire at the fusions. Each shot killed a fusion, turning them into fusion matter. But it wasn't enough. The ones that evade her attack charged directly at her. The one in the lead, raised its huge hand and tried smacking it down on her, but she somersaulted out of the way.

She took a straight stance, her hand holding the Block pistol as her was at its furthest, she fired at the fusion. The blast hit the fusion and it screamed an ape cry before turning into fusion matter.

But her victory was short lived when a Dire ape swung its fist from her side, sending her flying to a wall. She groaned in pain, trying to shook off the pain from her side. She peeked her eyes open only to see three Dire apes about to finish her off. Before she could let out a scream, one laser shot pierce through the three fusions, turning them into fusion matter in seconds.

"You okay?" Alex asked as he ran to her and brought out his hand.

Winter paused, looking at him and nodded, "Yeah. Thanks." She accepted his hand and he pulled her up to her feet.

But the fight wasn't over. They could hear more strange noises and diverted to their surroundings. All around them, three fusion goo formed into fusion sneaky spawns and fusion Suolos formed from the goo. The two fighters quickly gripped their weapons and opened fire on them.

However, that wasn't helping much. Despite how good they fired, another fusion took its place.

"They're too many." Alex said, gritting his teeth as he shot more fusions.

Winter couldn't reply, too busy taking the fusions down. It would seem that they would not live when suddenly all of them disappeared in a flash of light. Confused, the two fighters stopped, faces clearly showing what they felt.

"Okay, what just happen?" Alex asked as he scratched the top of his head.

"I believe I am." In a flash of light, before them, the Nano Dexter floated, his arms crossed across his shoulder as he gave a glare, "and you guys forgot about me."

"We're so sorry." Winter apologized to him, "How about you rest, you deserve it."

"Very well." The Nano nodded. Not long, he disappeared in a flash as he re-entered the Nanocom.

With the Nano back into Winter's Nanocom, the two fighters ran off. They were determined to finish their mission and will not stop until it was fulfilled.

Of course, the place was heavily guarded by dangerous fusions. But this time, the fighters were ready. The moment they came upon a fusion, they blast it with their weapon before it could fight back and dodge any other attack before finishing the final blow. There was also the time for stealth which Winter did well and covered her tracks.

Along with killing the guards, Alex led the way, his Nanocom displaying a blue circular hologram of the ship. There was a red dot that blinked at the east wing, indicating the location of their target. Winter ran behind him, depositing up shell bombs at different areas that they came upon.

Soon, they came upon a large metal door with fusion vines marked as an X, talk about finding your target. Alex came to a halt and raised his left hand at the side of his head, gesturing Winter to stop. Cautiously, he stepped forward and the door slide open, revealing what was inside.

Inside, the place was huge with Doom Drones roaming the ground, unaware of Alex and Winter's presence. There was also floating platforms higher off the ground, the walls were green steel and terrafusers glowed on the ground. But those weren't what caught Alex and Winter attention, but the huge screen on the wall.

The screen was showing a live footage of the battle outside the Cul-de-sac. The fusion forces seems to be advancing closer to the wall which wasn't good and it seems a part of it has been turn down.

Alex and Winter decided to shrug the scene for now and look for the thing that causing the invisibility on Fusion Destroyer. Both their eyes landed on a green lizard.

"Is that…?" Winter asked, but couldn't believe her eyes.

"It can't be, could it?" Alex continued, feeling the same way as Winter.

"Fusion Komodo." Both of them said unison.

No one has ever seen a fusion from the Saturday family, other than Fusion Zak. It was very surprising because there were no Nanos from the fusion from past battles. But apparently, the fusion exists and is the cause of the invisibility cloak on the ship.

However, they shook off the shock when they notice a Doom Drone heading their way. Quickly, Alex took Winter in a bridal style, making her blush and jump off from the ground. His leap was incredible, considering he didn't even have a Nano activated. It was like he could fly as he landed on one of the highest platforms.

The moment he got a good balance, Alex dropped her feet, unaware of the blush on her cheeks, "You okay? I didn't mean to rush."

"It's okay." She replied back, but it was more like a muttered sentence.

Alex looked confused at her behavior, though it was probably her shy characteristics. Before they arrived into Fusion Destoryer, Winter always seems to be quiet and rarely talked, even in when Blossom was arranging their various mission. She only became less shy when they got into the ship.

Rather than questioning her, he knew it was best to change the subject and focus on the task at hand. He stood at the edge of the platform, taking a clear look of the view below. The Fusion Komodo stood on top of a circle glowing face, but the question was why? He didn't seem like moving, like the other fusions.

Then it occurred to Alex why.

"That's it!"

Winter looked to him, blush completely gone, though her voice still low and soft, "What's it?"

"Don't you see it? The Fusion Komodo is the source of the invisibility cloak. He basically has the same ability as his counterpart, but he can somehow channel that energy and still keep himself visible."

Feeling proud of himself, he taps the face of his Nanocom, causing it to glow, "Activate Croc pot feature. Code 0093." He said directly to the device.

The face glowed bright blue before two small holograms emerged from the Nanocoms and combined together. The weapon G.U.M.Z.O.O.K.A merged together with a Brainstorm shock cannon, forming it into a two way gun. Together it was bigger and had more fire power.

"Let it rip!" He pulled the trigger, firing a two powerful blasts at the target. The blasts swirled in the air, over each other before combing into a violet power blast. With the extra power, it hit Fusion Komodo, sending massive pain to the fusion as it cried. Not long it turned into fusion matter in seconds.

"Nice one." Winter commented, "Only one thing…"

The Doom Drone perked up their heads, growling in anger as they saw the two fighters on the floating platform.

"How are we going to deal with that." She concluded.

Alex, as a response, twirled his combined gun in his hand with a grin on his face, "Simple. We blast our way out."

Immediately, he leapt off the platform, leaving a slightly startled Winter behind. His head was dived down, arms by his hands and fingers holding the gun. Seeing him coming, the fusions wasted no time and began shooting fusion goo webs from their mouths. But amazingly he navigated himself from their pathway.

As he got close to the ground, his fingers twirled under his T-shirt and found pressed a button on his belt. The speed he was coming down reduced as gravity took less effect on him. He landed in a pose which had his knee touching the ground, the other standing, though straight and his head down.

The fusions circled around him, snarling and growling as they got ready to attack. Immediately, he struck his head up, a grin on his face as he glanced at the fusions, "Well, this is going to be trouble…" he held gun tightly and brought it forward at a Doom Drone, "For you that is."

Quickly, he fired a combined blast at the Doom Drone, turning it to die into a pool of fusion matter. The other fusions growled out in anger and two from his right fired Fusion goo nets. However, he rolled out of the way, keeping some distance from him and the fusions that tried at attack him.

In a flash, he got back to his feet and opened fire at the two fusions. The combined blasts hit both with one strike, causing them to die into fusion matter.

Suddenly, the battle turned into something related to a Matrix movie fight. If this was a movie like it, the music would most likely be heard as Alex fought back the fusion.

Three Doom Drone launched at him, mechanical mouths wide open. Alex quickly noticed them and turned behind him and fired a single blast. It destroyed the fusions as expected but that wasn't enough. The other fusions charged with a battle cry, closing the space between him and them.

Alex put up his game face, holding his gun with both hands and opened fire at three coming from his right. The single blast hit the first, causing the first to explode and kill ones at its side.

But the more seconds Alex fired, the fusions came closer. One leapt at him shortly and snapped its mouth at him, but he back flip off the ground and landed on the head of a Doom Drone. The fusion roared, jerking its head to get Alex off it. Alex clutched his left fist and blew through the hard metal head, causing a small hole and the fusion to cry out in pain.

By holding the fusion through the small hole, Alex held the combined weapons in his right hand and fired at any incoming fusion. The fusions came in fast, some leaping from different directions to strike him. But Alex had quick reflex, shooting any that came from his right, left, behind and front.

At this rate, his surroundings were filled with Fusion matter littering the ground. The only Doom Drone was the one Alex was holding on to, and it had given up when Alex finished up the army of fusions.

Suddenly, to his shock and surprise, the goo began to move around. He kept a close eye on the massive goo as it began forming into one, growing big in size with every second and forming into a familiar shape. The process was complete and not long, three giant versions of the Doom Drone otherwise known as Doom Defenders stood.

Suddenly, they fired at Alex, but he leapt out of the way, leaving the fusion to be destroyed by the blasts. To his utmost surprise, while he was airborne, a Doom Defender fired a massive web, knocking him to the ground, stuck and trapped underneath the web.

Alex groaned, tilting his head to the rushing footsteps heading towards him, "Oh Crap." He said as his eyes lay on the Doom Defenders rushing towards him.

He tried to break through the bonds but it was no use. He was stuck like a fly in a spider's web, figure of speech and literally speaking.

"Great so this is how a fly feels like." He said through his breathe as he tried struggling, "Never thought I'll end up like this. Maybe killed by a fusion counterpart or being blown by dynamites or something else more extreme, but not this."

The fusions closed the gap and stood close to Alex, about to give the final blow.

Alex closed his eyes, hoping not to see his extermination. Now he's going to be killed bugs, but at least they were alien like mechanical bugs.

"Eat this fusion slimes." Said a familiar female voice.

The Doom Defenders hissed angrily and looked up. Not long, a lone blue and white blast hit one of them, causing the fusion to become fusion matter.

A lone figure dropped from the above before them, and keeping them from getting Alex.

Winter Zodiac held her combined weapon, the Block pistol and a level five lightening sword. The butt of the Block Pistol was attack to the handle of the sword, sending a blue energy through the point of the sword.

"If you're looking for someone to tear to shreds, how about me?"

Like a response, roared and charged towards her. Winter didn't move as she shifted her right hand forward, holding her combined weapon firmly. She cocked a smirk of her own and pressed the trigger, blasting lightening energy and blue blasts.

The blasts combined and hit the fusions on the heard. The blast that could be heard was an explosion as both fusion cried out in pain as they dissolve into fusion matter.

With the threat gone, the smirk on her face loosened and she turned to her trapped temporary partner, "Well, look who's trapped like a little fly."

Alex shot a slight scowl, "Very funny, now help me out."

She paused, keeping an amusing look on her face as she pretends to be thinking of something, "Hmmm, maybe if you say I should save you."

"You aren't saving me. We're partners in this."

"Yeah, that's what Ben said to Rook and yet he still needed saving."

"Our case is different."

"Different how?"

Alex didn't answer, this time shooting a nasty glare at Winter. Every second he was stuck under the web was humiliating and disturbing all the same time.

Winter seems to notice, but kept her amused smile as she twirled her gun, "Fine." With that, the lightening sword of the combined weapon disappeared, leaving only the Block Pistol. She aimed directly at Alex and fired a couple of blasts, but not directly at any body part. The blasts cut through the web, weakening it only for Alex to break through it with his strength.

"YES!"

Winter glanced at him, giving her skeptic look with her hands on her hips, "What? No thank you."

Alex chuckled, "Fine, thanks for helping."

"It's a start." She giggled.

The two fighters smiled at each other, sharing a silent moment together. Winter silently nodded, unsure why, but felt like it. The same thing went for Alex, but he chuckled out of humor he wasn't thinking about. Was it out of having good company or something more?

"C'mon let's get out of here." Alex said, disrupting the silence.

Winter knew what he meant and nodded before reaching to her Nano. Her fingers were close to the button to summon a Nano when something felt out of place. Startled, she shifts her head to the ground, but was too late. The ground she stood became neon green and four tendrils launched out and tied around her arms and legs.

"Winter!" Alex, startled by the attack, rushed to her aid. The tendrils holding her grew and lifted her off the ground. Alex was close, but then a fast streak of neon black and green rushed at him, knocking him a few feet away.

Despite, having been thrown against a wall, Alex swiftly got back to his feet, but was stopped. The moment he got up, green tendrils lashed on to his wrist and legs from the wall and pulled him against the wall. He groaned and struggled with all his might but couldn't succeed.

Suddenly, a bubbling sound was heard from the green spot underneath Winter. Despite the only source was from the tendrils suspending her off from the ground, a goo of fusion matter began to form. The moment it was complete, the two fighters gasped at who it was.

"Professor Plutonium." Alex hissed in anger.

The said Fusion looked like his counterpart, Professor Utonium, but also had some different accessories. The wore a red lab shirt instead of white, black pants, has red eyes and four tendrils which are the ones keeping Winter off the ground.

"Let us go, you slime monster!" Alex yelled louder.

The fusion tilted his head to him and smirked, "Now why would I do that, now should I fusion Ben?"

The fusion he referred to came to view, as the fast blur that hit Alex earlier. When he came to view, he was a darker looking XLR8. The fusion slapped the Fusion Omnitrix symbol, reverting back to his normal Fusion form.

"Perhaps not." Fusion Ben smirked as he glanced at Alex, "So you're the owner of that Nano that beat my copy. I wouldn't say I'm impressed." He walked towards him causally and showed his grin to his face, "I wonder if I can have you as a target practice my other one got…expired."

"You monster!" Alex spat at him. He knew what Fusion Ben was referring to and didn't like it. Just the thought of the fighter that Fusion Ben used made him angrier, "When I get off this things, I swear I'll kill you until you can't come back!"

"Feisty isn't he." Said a Russian voice as the sound of the door slide open. All eyes, including the fusions, fell to the door as footsteps were heard.

Alex snarled at their presence, while Winter turned away, fearing the worse. Standing there, the three other Fusion Guides, Fusion Dexter, Fusion Samurai Jack and Fusion Edd were present.

The Fusion counterpart looked to Fusion Ben and smirked when he saw the cruel glare Alex was giving him, "Are you planning to replace him? I didn't know you actually killed the other one."

"Humans are so hard to use this days." Fusion Ben shrugged.

Before any discussion could be taken, Professor Plutonium stepped in, "What shall be our intentions towards these pests?"

"We shall…" Fusion Dexter began, but was interrupted. The place shook violently, causing most of them to stumble, "What was that?!"

************************(LINE BREAK)****************

Outside, the Fusion Destroyer was in plain sight for everyone to see. Several ships, both a combined forces of Plumbers and Providence, approached it while shooting at it.

Inside one of the Providence Ship, a screen at the back came on to reveal White Knight.

"Give all orders to take down the vessel immediately, we can't afford any to live."

Agent Six nodded, completely aware about what he meant. He knew that two fighters were sent into the massive alien ship, but what could he do. Orders were orders.

Six turned from the blank screen and pressed a button at the side, linking him to every Providence ship, "Take it down, that's an order."

**********************(LINE BREAK)*********************

Back inside the Fusion Destroyer.

Across the corridor and rooms, the explosion ruptured. Everything part of the ship was blown to pieces and several fusions were either destroyed or pulled through the massive holes caused by the blasts.

Fusion Plutonium, and everyone else, could hear the devastation. He gritted through his teeth in anger, face boiling furiously as his red eyes darkened, "It's your fault!"

"What's the matter, can't handle defeat." Alex said, surprising growing a smile on his face, "Just face that you've lost."

The Fusion growled in anger, forcing his tendrils to pull Winter. As a result, she let out a scream that shocked Alex. Hearing her scream, he tried pulling out of his bonds but failed.

"Leave her alone!"

However, he didn't answer, finding much anger to continue. With every pull, Winter screamed louder to the extent that it hurts Alex's ears. She pleaded for the pain to end, but to no result. Tears were even falling from her eyes as she continued screaming.

"Enough!" Fusion Dexter shouted.

Professor Plutonium paused, startled by the younger Fusion objection. Rather than questioning it, he stopped, bringing back comfort for Winter.

Fusion Dexter continued, "We're under attack! We have to heard back and defend the ship as much as we can. Now go!"

The other fusions complied. Fusion Ben slammed his Omnitrix, changing into Fusion Fast track and ran off. Fusion Edd and Fusion Samurai Jack ran off right behind him. The only fusion left was Fusion Plutonium who stared at him with a skeptic look.

"What are you going to do with them?" He asked.

"Nothing that needs for your concern." He replied back, shooting a glare at the other fusion.

Keeping a final glance at him, Professor Plutonium lowed his tendrils, letting go of Winter. She fell to the hard ground hard and groaned in pain. But no one, other than Alex, paid attention to her pain.

Slowly, Professor Plutonium walked away, keeping a suspicious look on Fusion Dexter before leaving. The door slide closes behind him, leaving the two fighters and Fusion Dexter alone.

"Your skills and techniques were remarkable, but something already foreseen." With that, Fusion Dexter snapped his finger. The tendrils holding Alex to the wall loosened and went back inside, freeing him.

Finally free, Alex with much anger charged at Fusion Dexter and threw a punch. However, before he could, Fusion Dexter disappeared as a mist, avoiding his blow. Alex groaned in anger and looked up above him, glaring daggers at Fusion Dexter floating above.

"I have no time for juvenile delays." As Fusion Dexter said this, a hole formed a few meters from Alex, showing the view of earth once more, "If you want to get your friend out of here, I advice you leave this instant."

Winter groaned as she used her strength to get up, "Why…are you helping us?" she felt tired, bruised and exhausted and began to wobble to get better balance. Alex ran to her aid, just before she could and held her shoulder to help her balance.

She let out a sigh of relief, holding her head in comfort and looked up to the fusion in question. Alex followed and looked up; or rather shot a glare at the Fusion. Despite he, Fusion Dexter, hasn't attacked was an odd behavior. According to the files Winter studied, fusions were meant to be merciless and cruel to any other being other than this, how this is must be because of their servitude to Fuse. But the question is, why didn't Fusion Dexter attacked?

Suddenly, another explosion was heard, rocking the ship once more and causing the two fighters to stumble. Alex fought back the force to fall, while holding Winter from falling as well.

"C'mon we have to go." Alex said and carried her bridal style. Winter didn't protest, but allowed him to carry her. He walked to the formed hole and looked up to Fusion Dexter, giving him a curious daring look.

Fusion Dexter turned side way from him, "I have my reasons, human. Next time we cross part will be your last."

Alex perked his eyebrow before shooting a glare of his own. Of course what did he expect from a fusion, they could never be good.

With that, he jumped into the hole, Winter in his arms and finally out of the ship.

The moment they jumped through, they began to falling to the ground. The air rushed on their faces, also with their hair blowing with the wind. With every passing second, gravity led them to the ground. But this didn't worry any of them.

Winter, still in Alex's arms, looked up at Fusion Destroyer as distance was put between them and her. Calmly, a breathe she didn't know came through her lips, before she reached to her Nanocom and pressed the face.

Suddenly, sounds of explosions were heard, coming from Fusion Dextroyer. In less than seconds, every part of it, burst into flames. The two falling fighters could feel the slight heat of the explosion. Along with the explosion, it sent a shockwave to anything close or far in the sky.

The Plumbers and Providence ships surrounding the destroyed ship only jerked lightly. The shockwave was harmless to anything and only seems to push rather than doing harm.

As Alex and Winter continued, the ground came into view. It wasn't a good sight, the only view being the battle field of Providence agents, Plumbers and some remaining Urban Rangers fighting back the fusions.

However, before they could crash to the ground, Ship, in his battle mode, flew across and right below them. A hatch opened at the top, right in line for them to fall inside. The hatch closed right after they entered and Ship took off, far from the battle field.

Everything was dark to him. It also felt like his head had just hit a bus, but that would be unlikely since he would be head. But still it felt that way. He didn't know how long it had been since he saw light, but he could feel the pain giving away.

Alex moaned in relief, mostly like out of the pain leaving him. His mind was confused for a moment, but none the less glad to finally awaking up. It dawned on him the darkness he saw was his closed eyelids. Slowly, he slightly open them and felt a rush of light hitting him.

He hissed at the sudden intrusion, but welcomes it when his eyes settled. The first thing his eyes saw was a red haired girl with a big red bow on her head.

"Are you okay?"

Alex moaned in response, finally feeling his sense of touch returning to his body. The first thing on his mind was to get up, which he then did and came to recognize the girl before him.

"Yeah, Blossom. Just feeling dizzy." As he held his head, memories rushed into his mind, "Did we stop them?"

Blossom frowned, "You did, but…" she turned away, "You'll have to see for yourself."

Alex was confused but complied. He noticed where he was in Ship which explained the familiar scheme of a Galvanic Mechamorph on the walls and the bed he once lay on.

"Ship, activate the footage of an hour ago." She commanded.

Ship, responding to her command, formed a big screen before them and it began to play. The first thing that came into view was Fusion Destroyer, blowing up into pieces and raining fusion matter as the parts dissolve into fusion matter. All seems well, but then the skies suddenly rumbled. It wasn't because of rain but something worse.

Alex gasped in shock. The skies began to be clouded by neon green clouds. Green lightening surged through the skies and stuck down on any flying ship. The attack was devastating as several Plumbers and Providence ships were shot down from the sky or blown up. A finally lightening then shot down on the earth, causing a circle ball of fusion goo to form. Out of the goo, Fusion Destroyer rose, sill intact as it was before the explosion.

Finally the footage ended.

Alex took his eyes from the screen, eyes wide and mouth open in shock. After everything him and Winter went through, they lost and came with injuries he felt embarrassed to say. The shock on his face changed to a scowl as he balled his hand to a fist and punch the wall.

"That was all for nothing." He gritted his teeth in anger.

"Not its not." Blossom said and placed her hand on the shoulder, "You and Winter are still alive and both of you came out of a place that no other could survive. I know it seems things are looking bad, but we must not give up. Winter is safe back at the KND outpost in Pokey Oaks, receiving some rest. The rest of us will carry on, that is if you're up for it."

For a moment, Alex didn't answer, but the anger on his face began to cease. He suddenly felt relieved as every word Blossom said sank into him.

"Alright." He glanced at her, giving her a confident look, "Let's kick Fusion butt."

Finally, that's over. This chapter was extremely long so that's why I updated late. That's right, I'm speaking normal again, apparently people will give you strange stares when you talk like an alien. Anyway, this chapter ends one arc, time for the other which will contain Agent Honey, Jace Wind and Sunbeam.

If you're wondering if Fusion Dexter is becoming good, then I have three words for you. YOU'RE DEAD WRONG. Fusion Dexter has his own motives which will be revealed in later chapters. I've noticed that all Fusionfall stories have the Fusions completely loyal to Fuse without any questioning, but that's different in this. Example is Fusion Dexter, but he is still evil like the other fusions.

Please review, I would like to know what you think, especially from the owners of the OCs that appeared in this chapter. If you think I might have over done it, please inform me and I'll try to correct it in later chapters. Remember flames aren't allowed and will be deleted.
