"Hello?!" Serenity waved her hand in his face when she received no answer she tapped him lightly which caused him to fall to the ground with a thud. "Oh my god!" Serenity yelled running to his side
"I think he's dead" Venus said poking him with her finger
"Good" Uranus laughed
"Carry him to the bed" Serenity ordered, the nine girls all walked over and laid him on her bed. "Can any of you wake him?"
Uranus smirked "sure" she said walking into the bathroom and then coming out with a bucket of cold water
"Oh, great idea Uranus, we can use a wash cloth to tap his face with the cold water" Serenity said smiling
"Uh…um…I think you should move princess" Uranus said smiling brightly
Venus and Mercury grabbed their princess gently and moved her from the bed, at that moment Uranus dumped the whole bucked of cold water over the Prince, who jumped up panting,
"What the hell was that for?!" he yelled looking around
"Oh my, that was not very becoming of a prince" Pluto said shaking her head
Uranus busted out laughing as did the other girls. Endymion looked over and found serenity also amused at his expense. He reached out and grabbed her hand pulling her on to the wet bed "you still find it funny" he said smiling sweetly at her.
Serenity giggled a little and nodded. "You're not mad?" she asked worriedly.
"Hell yes I'm mad" he said kissing her noise Serenity looked at him confused "that water was cold"
Serenity smiled at him, "I mean about the news"
Endymion beamed with joy, "we are to be married are we not?" Serenity nodded
"And you do love me am I correct?" She nodded again
"I love you, I see no problem Seren, I am beyond happy at this news! I've always wanted to be a father!"
"Ok, that's is enough" Uranus muttered as she pulled her princess off the wet bed. "Mars has a new gown for you, Prince-I suggest you make your announcement and tell the Queen you wish to marry our princess as soon as possible" The Earth princes smiled down at his princess as he stood before her. "I plan on it"
After leaving Endymion, Mi retreated back to her room, angry and ready for revenge. She waved her hand in front of her as a bright yellow light shinned before her. "How may I help you princess?" a male voice asked
"I need you for an important job"
"And that would be majesty?"
"Killing the moon princess"
The man smiled devilishly "I'll be there in a moment my princess" within seconds the light disappeared and soon a tall man with bright red hair that resembled fire stood before her.
Crossing his arms over his chest, a sigh left his lips. "Prince is going to marry the moon princess" he looked up at her a smirk on his face. "Am I right?"
Mi threw a dress on to her bed "She had to have done something to win his affection" standing in thought she hit her fist against the wall. "It has to be that blasted crystal! Daddy said it's the most powerful crystal in the universe and that's why we must always stay on good terms with the moon…"
Shrugging, the man looked to his nails in boredom "Maybe he just wants her power? After their married he plans to rid himself of her once and for all"
"I don't want to wait that long!" She wined "Daddy said I must win the prince no matter what"
"When did you start caring about what others want?"
She threw a shoe toward his head, "When it coincides with what I want, idiot!" Turning back to the window overlooking the palace ponds, "Endymion is the most handsome man in the galaxy the only one suitable for my husband" She hissed "Besides Serenity wants him, I won't allow her to have anything or anyone…she needs to die alone…like her mother"
"She won't give him up without a fight. You can't go against the silver crystal, the King would rather sacrifice you then anger the moon and risk war."
Turning to glare at the man before her she stomped her foot like an impertinent child. "The announcement is tonight, if I you can end her life before then, the prince of Earth will be mine. Do what you do best and make sure it's seen as an accident"
Standing from the wall, he turned toward the second window, watching as lunardian children marbled at the large mass of water. "Killing inferior creatures, brings me joy…just remember princess" he smirked at her "This will only add to your already massive debt to me"
Mi waved her hand in dismissal "My first born for your services" she shrugged her shoulders "I could always have more"
"Very well, I will take my leave" bowing he grinned evilly "Princess"
Mi left her room and walked to serenities as she made her way to the door she heard yelling
"What is going on?" she asked herself as she placed her ear against the door.
'What the Fuck was that for?!''Endymond?'she whispered
As she listened she soon heard the news that would send her over the edge. Sound of typing hit her ears and soon Venus could be heard excitedly asking "well?! What will the child be then?!"
"Venus calm down, this takes time" Neptune was heard
"Ok I got it" Mercury sounded happy, proud "Endymion, Serenity…congratulations your having a baby girl"
Mi took a few steps back, shaking her head "no…no" she whispered then turned and ran to her room tears running down her face. Slamming her door in anger, she screamed in rage. Grabbing the many things that lined her room she began to throw glasses into the wall and floor shattering them into thousands of pieces. Her fingers reaching up and ripping the rich tapestries off the wall, shredding the canvas easily. "I see your tantrums are the same as they were when you were just girl" she turned her enflamed eyes toward the red headed man who sat comfortably on her window ledge "Shut up!" she screamed
"Tell me princess what has you in such a rage?"
"She's pregnant" shaking her head as if trying to rid herself of the news, "she's pregnant!" grabbing her head she let out a rage filled scream. The door to her room quickly opened-in walked a wide eyed worried maid. Before she could ask if the princess was alright a glass was thrown at her with words of "GET OUT" echoing off the stone walls. The maid shut the door quickly and ran.
After a few more minutes, Mi began to laugh-sickly twisted laugh, that made even the red haired man cringe "change of plans…"
END OF FLASH BACK
Serena sat up from her bed, her breathing heavy and chest tight. Tears, ran down her face as she looked around her darken room. "Dream?"
"No" Serenity turned quickly her hand going to her broch, though she rarely used the locket anymore, her powers greater than before that now she could transform by simple willing it. It was still habit for the princess to reach for the golden device. "Do not fret sweet child" her eyes widened.
"Mother"
"It's been a while sweet heart" taking a set by the bed, the fallen Queen was as whole as you or I. "I can't to you, this night to send you this dream…to show you…everyone what had happened on the moon."
"so it was true" Serena whispered "What did Mi do in the end, mother?"
The Queen shook her head. "that is why I am here now…the rest of that night is too hard for my heart to bare…I could not allow you to see what she does to you…" she looked down at Serena's flat stomach "or the child that you carried"
Serena covered her mouth, tears filled her eyes once more. "That afternoon, at the announcement. Endymion did choose Serenity, the Princess of the sun took the news surprisingly well, this of course, worried your Scouts and Endymion. You" she smiled "my sweet princess, you believed she truly had changed for the better. The two of you became close once more. It felt like old times, your childhood closeness was back. Endymion and the Scouts argued with you. You would not hear of it.
That following week you and Endymion were married. The news of your pregnancy was rejoiced and celebrated on all corners of the galaxy." Sadness and regret filled the Queen, "If only I'd…" Serena reached out touching her mother's hand. Taking her other hand, the Queen wiped a tear from her face, "This news does not come easy my love" nodding in understanding, Serena waited. Taking a deep breath the Queen continued, "One after noon, Mi took you on a private walk-you were 7 months along-Endymion and yourself had moved to live on Earth, it was hard for us to let you go…however, I knew that I needed to let you go…" "Mi took you around the gardens-a garden that you started for your child…it's there where she attacked" holding her daughters hand tightly she continued. "More so, that is where he attacked, this man with red flaming hair came out of nowhere and beat you so brutally that…you were barely conscious. It was then that Mi, who stood watching, took over. Cutting your child from your belly and killing her in front of your eyes before you fell unconscious."
Serena felt her heart stop, after a long pause, she looked up at her mother "Why-why don't I remember this?"
"When I sent you and your court for have this new future, I never imagined that the princess of the sun would return, I made it so that this one memory was not to follow you…" she shook her head, "I understand if your angry with me, I had no right to hold your memories as I did"
"I understand" she whispered her eyes looking toward the closed door that a joined her room. "I would have done the same" she closed her eyes, "I can't help but wonder what she would have been like though…would she have been as curious and daring as Rini?"
The Queen touched her daughters face lovingly, "my child, when I sent you back…I could have survived…however, I begged the goddess of death to send the spirit of your child to this time…so be reborn when the time was right"
Serena's eyes widened, "Your saying Rinis is…"
"The same child you lose a life time ago" Serena without words jumped into her mother's arms and cried as her mother ran her fingers through her hair repeating her name as she did so.
Startled and sitting up quickly Serena looked around her room the sound of banging and voices were heard as she tried to clear the fog from her mind. "Mother?" she whispered. The voices and banging drew her attention to her bedroom door which was locked. "I swear to all that holy if you don't open this damn door I'm going to break it down!"
"honestly Nick must you be so violet" Jay sighed
"Maybe she's in her bathroom" Zach mentioned
"Or maybe she's been kidnapped"
It was silent for a moment before the door came crashing down. Four men stood, staring at the wide eyed Serena, her blanket held to her chest as she looked from her busted door on the floor and the eyes of glaring Nick. "Oh, look she isn't kidnaped" Jay laughed causing Mitchell and Zack to drag him away.
"I was about to open that" she said dryly
Nick said nothing, he was angry. "I have been at this door for the last twenty minutes!" he hissed walking into the room. "When did you start locking your door anyway?!"
"I must have done it subconsciously." She whispered pulling her knees to her chest. "My mother visited me" Nick took a seat beside her. "I know what happened…why Mi is so angry"
Nick nodded, "We all do" Serena looked surprised at his. "It seems Queen Serenity gave us all the same dream…" he exhaled, "Except…no one knows what happened in the end…except for myself that is"
"You remember?" she asked "I don't, mother had to tell me the rest…she said it was to agonizing to show me…to be honest…hearing it isn't any better…the only calming fact is that my infant is reborn…she was given the chance at a new life" looking up at Nick she turned her head sideways "How do you remember?"
"I was the one who found Serenity" he said softly. "I never lost that memory…it…haunts me" he shuttered, Serena grabbed hold of his hand tightly. "You were laying on the found…your blood was pooled around you…your stomach cut open" he closed his eyes. "hand prints made from your blood were around your neck, your face was swollen and badly beaten…" Serena at seeing the tears fall from his closed eyes, pulled him into her. Hugging him tightly.
