I have other stuff to update but I was in the mood to write this chapter.
Anyway we will find out more about Ring but I think these two needed their own chapter, enjoy!
Rins pov
"Nothing good is on," I say to Len as I flip through channels.
As soon as I get to a channel that was playing some random movie we heard the door un-lock.
A purple haired man came in, he had on a suit and held a briefcase, he was just a simple business man.
"That's Luka's husband right?" Asked Len.
"I think so," I replied.
The man, Gakupo was his name I think, looked at the TV and sighed.
"Miku must have left the TV on," said Gakupo as he came up and turned it off.
"Hey!" I yelled at him even though I knew he couldn't hear.
"Whatever, I'll just turn it back on," I said reaching for the remote.
Len grabbed my hand to stop me, the gesture made him blush, and made me confused.
"Don't turn it back on, Gakupo doesn't know much about us, we don't want to scare him," said Len.
"Ugh! Fine! Let's go hang out in Miku's room," I said taking Lens hand and leading him to Miku's room.
A bunch of her stuff was in boxes since she moves into her apartment this weekend, but she still had her bed set and she left her old laptop out for us to play on.
We played computer games for maybe hours until we heard another door un-lock.
We ran to the door in hopes that Miku was home but it wasn't, instead it was Luka home from work.
Gakupo came from his office sense he had heard her and he happily kissed her.
I made a barfing gesture and Len just looked at me.
"Aww you used to find that funny," I said with a teasing tone and giggle.
Len just looked away, he has been acting pretty weird lately. I was going to ask what was wrong then Luka asked something.
"Why is the TV off? I thought Rin and Len would be watching it," said Luka.
"That's why it was one…" said Gakupo in a bit of a confused daze.
Luka turned it back on and looked over in our direction as if for a splint second she could see us.
"Miku's spirit friends watch TV?" asked Gakupo looking at a Christmas movie that had just come on.
"Yeah, they were just regular teenagers before they died, or so Miku says," said Luka.
Luka was the only one that has really accepted Miku and her ability, Kaito supports it too, I wonder if she has talked to him about us.
"Hey Gakupo White Christmas is on," said Luka. (Hey guys this is the same day as the last chapter but let's just say its early December)
"You like that movie?" asked Gakupo.
"Yeah, it was my step mother's favorite and we watched it every Christmas Eve before Miku and I went to bed and after my father left her I would still watch it every Christmas Eve before I went to bed," said Luka.
"How cute, I guess I have always been out of town for Christmas so I didn't know that," said Gakupo.
"Won't you sit down and watch?" asked Luka.
"I haft to work," he said.
Luka gave him a childish pout and he sighed in surrender as he sat down with her.
We ended up sitting next to them and watching.
When the first commercial break started Gakupo asked Luka something.
"What do you want for Christmas?" asked Gakupo.
Len repeated what Gakupo asked to me.
"I don't know, I don't even really care, but I want to make Miku a scarf," I told Len.
"I'll just get her a leek or something," said Len.
"You're so sentimental Len," I teased.
We kept watching the movie, when it got closer to the end Len randomly grabbed my hand, I didn't think much of it, thought the movie provoked him to do it so we kept watching.
The movie finally ended and Len still held onto my hand, I just tried to ignore it while I waited for him to take it away.
"That was a good movie," said Gakupo.
"We'll all haft to watch it on Christmas Eve, you can invite Gumi too," said Luka.
"Alright," he said kissing Luka back on the check.
"I haft to go back to work," he told Luka as he got back up.
"I'll call you when dinner's ready," said Luka.
He went back to his office and I just watched Luka sit there until she finally spoke up.
"I wish he would care a little more," murmured Luka.
It must be hard to be married to someone who is always working and not very emotional.
She then looked at me, right in my eyes.
"You have it easy," she said right to my face.
Could she see me?
She looked away with a sigh and stood up.
"I think I'll just order sushi," she said going up to the phone.
Len and I didn't know much about, or really cared much for Luka, and she didn't care for us either. But today she seemed to care for our presence, and she even noticed it.
I was so distracted by Luka that I hadn't noticed that Len had fallen asleep on my shoulder.
I looked at him with a smile, he was cute when he was sleeping, and did I look like this when I was sleeping?
Looking at his peaceful sleeping face I started to yawn, exhaustion took over me. He won't mind if I rest my head on his.
With a big yawn I positioned myself on Len and fell asleep.
Yeah I know it's short but I really wanted to have Rin and Len have their own chapter, they will be more important at the end so don't worry.
