Chapter 10: Dimensional Daughter Doppelgangers: Part 3

The Black Witch floated out of the portal and into the basement, her cloak moving aimlessly around her feet. Her red eyes moved back and forth between the two girls before a low growl resonated from her. The long sleeves of her cloak hung at her sides limply as did the rest of her body, making her look stiff like a statue.

The two Danielle's stood completely still, cautiously watching and wondering what they were going to do. They were definitely not expecting for her to show up, especially here, so to say they were unprepared was an understatement. Dani narrowed her eyes as she watched the cloaked figure carefully for any sudden or subtle movements, but she knew for a fact that she was way too tired and hurt from her earlier confrontation with Ellie's family. She knew she was going to have to find away to get the jump on the Witch or else they were done for.

Behind her, Ellie stood, eyes wide in fear as she took in the menacing form of the Black Witch. The thought that she was here terrified her more than anything she'd ever felt in her life. The thought that the one safe haven that she and her siblings had left was being invaded so easily by their most powerful enemy petrified her, something that was clear in her voice as she spoke.

"Wonder what's got her so upset," she said, her voice shaking almost as much as her body was. Ellie could feel the fear gripping her insides in an intense strangle.

"Maybe she's pissed because she's got a thorn stuck in her backside," Dani said as she shifted into a battle position. Another growl was her response as the Witch focused on her now, and she could only smirk at the thought that she was getting to her. "Oh, what wrong? Did I hit the thorn on the rose?"

"Dani, stop! Making her mad isn't a good idea!" Ellie said, grabbing her double's shoulder but never taking her eyes off the Black Witch.

"Why not? We've got her outnumbered, so all we gotta do is get her on the ropes. We can take her no prob-" Dani was cut off as the Black Witch brought both her hands up, causing the room to shake and rumble. Ellie instantly grabbed onto Dani's back, a terrified scream coming from her while Dani looked around the room, her head continuously moving as she looked for whatever manner of attack was coming their way. Loud crashes echoed around the room as large vines erupted from the walls, dirt flying everywhere. Each vine moved swiftly like snakes, almost making Dani believe that they had minds of their own as they all turned toward the two girls menacingly.

Ellie, though still shaking uncontrollably, opened her eyes to glare at her duplicate who could only chuckle nervously the site of the vines.

"Uh…haha…oops…" Dani said. "I guess I spoke too soon."

"What was your first clue?" Ellie said sarcastically before turning her scared eyes back to the Black Witch. "What do we do? We'll never get out of here with those vines all over the place."

"Simple," Dani said as she transformed into her ghost form. "We fight our way through these vines, and take this witch down."

"Dani, I don't think-"

"Go!" Dani cried, charging full speed at the Black Witch with her hands aglow with powerful green energy. Ellie squeaked, startled at the fact that Dani had charged so fast and nearly caused her to fall.

The Black Witch made no move to stop her, simply floating in place with her arms still extended.

As Dani drew upon her opponent, three large vines shot out toward her. Dani pulled quickly to the left, barely missing getting hit by one, but didn't have much time to ponder on this thought as more vines began to move, all trying to hit her. With a few quick flicks of her wrists, Dani began to destroy all the vines that came at her, but wasn't prepared as a small vine snaked it way across the ground, lunging at her and wrapping around her and constricting her like a anaconda.

The tight feeling that surrounded Dani grew more painful by the second as she squirmed, making the vine hold on tighter. As her lungs began to burn with the need for air, something she normally didn't need in her ghost form, Dani could feel her face changing color as her ectoplasmic blood rushed and pumped. Just when she didn't think she could take much more, a strong rush of air flooded her lungs as a small explosion went off near her. The vine instantly caught fire as it flopped to the ground completely lifeless. Dani looked back to her duplicate and nearly gave a cry of joy at the site of green smoke rising from her hand, but refrained as she watched Ellie breath heavily. Ellie took a few more deep breathes before looking at Dani with a small smile.

"Word of advice: watch your back," Ellie said.

"Uh, hello? You're me, remember? So technically, I was," Dani smirked before training her eyes back on the Black Witch who was looking at the two with a hateful gaze. "You ok?"

"Yeah, I think so. I guess I'm just winded. It's been a while since I've actually fought someone."

"We need to distract her so that we can hit her."

"Wouldn't it better to lead her out of here and into the open? We might be able to find the others then."

"We can't take that chance. So here's the plan: you zig left, I'll zig right. Got it?" Dani didn't wait for an answer before she charged head first once again into the fray. Ellie gave a tired sigh before reluctantly going after her doppelganger.

"I told you to zig left! LEFT!" Dani barked in annoyance.

"I'm sorry! There were vines everywhere, and they had spikes, and I got scared," Ellie replied as she cried. Her tears fell, going over her forehead and falling into the dark abyss of the Ghost Zone.

The battle was a poor attempt as the two doppelgangers soon found themselves powerless and wrapped in the clutches of the Black Witch who was dragging them upside down through the Ghost Zone, taking them to who knew where. Dani still wasn't sure how, but the Black Witch had somehow been able to cancel out her's and Ellie's powers, leaving them completely open. Of course, she wouldn't have gotten caught if Ellie hadn't started screaming and flown right into her, but at the moment, she needed to figure out a way for them to save themselves. However, the constant crying from her double wasn't exactly helping things move along any faster.

"Will you stop it with the crying already!?" Dani yelled, shoving Ellie as best as she could in their current position. "I've already got a headache from all the blood rushing to my head, and your crying isn't helping any! Man up already! You're never gonna help anyone if all you're going to do is snivel and cry! Stop being weak and pull yourself together!"

Ellie looked at her in complete surprise. She knew Dani was right and that she wasn't helping anyone by being a crybaby like she was, but she couldn't believe that she could be that harsh about it. No one had ever yelled at her like that before, and Ellie couldn't believe what she had actually just said. As her lip began to tremble and another round of crying was about to commence, Ellie bit down, trying to hold back her sobs and sorrow though she couldn't help the way her body shook with each sob.

Dani continued to scan the Ghost Zone for anything familiar or anyone who she could get help from, but there was nothing but emptiness around them, which only made her wonder even more where they were headed.

"Hey, wicked witch of the wordless, where you taking us?" Dani called, but to no surprise, got no response.

"I think I know," Ellie said quietly as she looked toward where they were headed. Dani's eyes soon feel upon the portal as well, and it became horrifically obvious where they were going. The two looked at the large purple football sign above the doorway, and in an instant, knew where they were headed.

"Vlad," the two Danielle's said in unison, though Dani's was in anger while Ellie's was fear.

"I should have known that psycho cheese head was behind all of this," Dani said as they were dragged through the portal. As the three emerged on the other side of the portal, Dani looked around to see that the lab didn't look any different since the last time she had been there. The memories began to flash in the back of her mind, and Danielle had to shake her head to clear her thoughts and keep herself from slipping back into that state of mind. A loud gasp from her double got her attention, causing her to turn her head in the same direction, and what she saw startled her.

On a far wall in the back of the lab were what looked to be large tubes, each one glowing with ghostly energy. The outer of each tube was a deep purple color of some type of reinforced metal. Over the fronts of them were clear glass plating that allowed you to see inside, and on the tops of each of them were large wires that seemed to be connected to something that they couldn't see. But the most startling thing about the tubes were what were inside of them.

"Grandma? Grandpa?" Ellie said as she scanned over each pod. "Uncle Tucker? Aunt Jazz and Aunt Valarie? They're here?"

Dani couldn't believe what she was seeing. It was indeed her family, however, it was clear that they were much older than the ones that she knew. Her grandmother's same loving features were still there, along with a streak of white hair. Her grandfather's once child like face now had a few wrinkles, showing that he was indeed aging gracefully.

Her Uncle, though still wearing a berate, had grown much with a full bread of facial hair that was neatly cut and an impressive amount of muscle that made him look much more built and tough. Adding his now much taller size into the equation, and she could say without a doubt that he had grown up.

Her Aunt now looked even more gorgeous then before. Her bust sized seemed to have gone up as well as having rounded out with the rest of her body as her hips were now much wider like her grandmother's. Her once long red hair was now gone, having been cut short and into a bob that look very well on her, especially with the way some of it hung in her face.

Valarie had also matured a great deal, her figure having slimed out a lot from her ghost hunting, but like Jazz, her figure had rounded out and grown quite lovely in the years. Her hair had also been cut, only instead of a bob, it was now spiked out at the tips in a pixie cut.

Though Dani was happy to see them all, she couldn't help the pit in her stomach as she observed the bright auras around their bodies. Though she knew that they were all dead, seeing it for herself did little to easy her stomach. The two girls were brought out of their thoughts as the lights above came on. The Black Witched turned toward the stairs as a small figure descended them.

"Princess…" The witch said before bowing.

"Oh now you decide to talk," Dani said bitterly, though that was forgotten as she looked to the girl before her. The girl was covered in a blood red cloak, her face hidden except for her mouth which wore a very cruel looking smile that only seemed to annoy Dani even more. "Alright, one of you better start talking. Where's Plasmius?"

The girl turned to the two Danielle's, looking at them in curiosity before walking up to them. First, she began to examine Dani, who simply glared back at her silently, before moving on to Ellie who began to shake and cower as she watched her. Smiling even more, the girl turned around, snapping her fingers. Without hesitation, the Black Witch released the two Danielle's dropping them onto the cold lab floor. Both girls groaned as they sat up and looked at the figure as she turned around to face them.

"I must say, this is a very unexpected, and yet not unwelcome surprise," she said.

"Who are you?" Dani asked, a sickening feeling growing inside of her. She didn't know why, but something about this girl felt both familiar and foreign at the same time.

"Oh, come now. I'm sure it's not that hard to figure out just who I am. Even my voice should be a giveaway," she said, bringing her hands up to her hood. With a swift yank, she pulled it down to reveal her pale skin, white hair and blood red eyes. Both Dani and Ellie stared in complete disbelief of what they saw.

"That-that's….it's…I…impossible," Dani stuttered.

"How? How can this be?" Ellie asked as she shook her head. "You're…me…"

The smirk on the girl's face only grew as she stood face to face with not one, but two of her counterparts.

"Actually, the correct term would be us since there's three Danielle's here. I know, shocking isn't it? And here I only thought I'd get to fight one of me," she said as her red eyes shone with malevolent mischief.

"You want to fight us?"

"Yep. And destroy you. Well, I actually only need to destroy one of you. Her, actually," she said, pointing to Ellie who blinked in fright.

"What? Wh-wha-why do you want to destroy me?"

"I know this is all very confusing, so I'll start from the beginning. My name is Danielle, and I am your clone. But let's not get too formal here. Since we've all got the same name, and don't want the confusion to get the better of us, you can call me Princess like everyone else."

"My clone?"

"So Plasmius is behind all this then," Dani said, glaring at her.

"Yep. Or, at least he was. You know, before I killed him," Princess said nonchalantly.

"You killed him!? But how!? That's impossible! Even Dad couldn't do it, let alone you!"

"You mean Dad WOULDN'T do it. He was very capable of doing it, but he was just too weak to go through with it. All because he was too scared that he'd turn into Dan."

"Seems like a pretty good reason to me," Dani said as she watched the clone.

"Well I guess that really wasn't an issue for me because I killed Vlad, and not only was it easy, I loved it," she said with a sadistic smile. "You see, back all those years ago when Vlad tried to kidnap poor little Ellie, what he was really doing was trying to get her DNA. He had found a way to prefect the cloning process without the mid-morph DNA of the original by supplementing his own in its place. So after he got a hold of what he needed, he created me. He gave me the whole speech about how I was to find you, replace you and destroy you. After that, I was supposed to slowly take out one of you family members and replace them with their clone so that he could finally defeat Dad and take over the world. To be honest, it sounded like a great plan. Except the fact that he would be ruler of the world, something that I personally wouldn't have been able to put up with. So, I killed him."

"Just like that?" Ellie asked, shaking at the thought.

"Yep. And it was easy too. As soon as his guard was dropped, I attacked him with his own Ghost Gauntlets, and ripped his human half and ghost half apart. After that, I used the Gauntlets to rip out his ghost's core, and completely incinerated it, ensuring that there was no way he was going to come back. After that, killing his human half was so easy, it almost wasn't any fun."

"Oh my god! That's horrible!"

"I don't understand; you killed Vlad, why not just go off and live your life?" Dani asked.

"Well, you see, that's the funny thing about being a clone: you're a copy of another person. Meaning that you want everything that that person has. I wanted a family, friends. I wanted a life. But I knew that I wouldn't get it unless I took it. So I did.

"It was actually easy for me to trick Dad. When he came here looking for Vlad, he saw me as I pretended to captured. All I had to do was cry a few fake tears and dropped his guard instantly. After that, it was easy enough to separate his human half and his ghost half too. I made a duplicate of myself that possessed him, forever securing him as my daddy," Princess said. "After that, I got rid of his human half, ensuring that he couldn't try and stop me later."

"You're a monster!" Ellie yelled as tears fell down her face.

"I know, and I don't care," Princess said with a smile. "Although you should be glad. I've proven that Dan doesn't exist just because he turned evil. He was simply a byproduct of Vlad and Dad, just like me, except that I'm better."

"You've proven nothing except that you're a twisted, sick little creature," Dani declared as she got to her feet and, calling upon what little strength she had left, transformed into her ghost form. "I'm not going to let you get away with this!"

"You're not going to let me?" Princess asked with her eyebrow raised. "I don't think you understand the circumstances. I'm stronger then you. I'm better then you. I am the perfect halfa, and I can and will do as I please because that is what I want to do. This doesn't concern you, so I suggest you go back to wherever it is you came from."

"Not on your life!" Dani cried, raising her hands and throwing multiple ecto-disks at her. Princess rolled her red eyes, creating a shield that glowed the same red color as her eyes. The disks slammed into the barrier which only absorbed them like nothing. As Princess brought the shield down, she snapped her fingers.

"Mother. Restrain her," she commanded. The Black Witch wasted no time as she raised her hand and sent a large vine out toward Dani. The vine wrapped around her arms and up to her neck, squeezing slightly so as to restrain her more effectively. Dani Struggled to get free, but it did little to nothing at all. "Thank you. Now, shall I continue where I left off before being interrupted?"

"Wait, you said mother…" Ellie said, looking back to the Black Witch in horror. "You mean…"

"That's right, Ellie. The Black Witch and White Wizard are your parents," Princess said with a smile as she once again snapped her fingers. The Black Witched brought her hands up and eased the hood off of her head. Dani's struggling instantly came to a stop and she and Ellie gazed upon the lifeless face of their mother.

Sam had aged very well over the years, still looking incredibly beautiful. Her hair, which was no longer held in a ponytail, hung low, going past her shoulders and looked incredibly curvy. Her face was still very youth full, making her look as if she were still in her early twenties and not her mid-thirties. However, her eyes were absolutely lifeless as they glowed a vibrant red inside of their usual green color.

"Mommy…"Ellie whispered, unsure of how to take this information in. "How-"

"Did you never realize that she was the Black Witch?" Princess asked, walking up to her. Reaching out, she grabbed a hold of Ellie's ponytail, yanking it swiftly and pulling her head to face the other direction. "Why don't you ask them?"

Trying to ignore the pain from her scalp, Ellie opened her eyes and gasped at the site of the White Wizard, his hood down as well, as he stood by three tables. On each table was one of her siblings, restrained by anti-ghost restraints that kept them in place. The three of them were clearly badly beaten as none of them could find the energy to even try to move. They all groaned as they struggled to lift their heads and look into the eyes of their little sister.

"Ellie…I'm sorry…" Foley said.

"We didn't want you to find out this way," Sam said, his breathing labored.

"You…you all knew? You knew it was Mom and Dad?" she asked, heartbroken.

"We didn't tell you because we didn't think that you could handle it," Jade said. "We didn't want you to have to deal with it. Not until you were ready."

"As touching as that sentiment is, ready or not, she's going to have to face the reality that all of your problems begin and end with her," Princess said with a smile. Ellie looked up to her, but didn't have time to react as Princess lifted her up and punched her, sending her soaring across the room and into the wall with a hard slam.

"Ellie!" her siblings called.

"Mhm…that felt great," Princess said, flexing her fingers. "I always knew that this was going to feel good, but never thought that the power would be this good. I should have come to get you a long time ago." Looking to her double, she couldn't help but smile at her. "But it didn't matter either way. The universe was going to force us together one way or the other."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Dani asked as she struggled not to freak out at all that she had learned. Princess turned to her, a serious look on her face.

"Have you ever heard of a paradox? A paradox is something that contradicts itself, but is also true at the same time, something that the universe doesn't allow to happen. For example, a simple paradox would be if both you and Jade said "I am the daughter of Danny Phantom." Though this statement is true, it can also contradict itself. Because of the way it's said, someone maybe that you are the same person, yet you are two different people. So how do you fix this paradox? Simple: you are sisters. Because you are sisters, and have the same parents, you can both claim to be his daughter, but are not the same person.

"Then there are more complicated paradoxes, like time paradoxes. An example of this is Dan. The reason that Dan existed was because when he was a teenager, his family was killed in a Nasty Burger explosion, which lead to him moving in with Vlad and the creation of his evil future. However, he himself was the cause of the explosion because his future self goes back to ensure that he comes into existence, creating an infinite loop. Dan goes back, causing the explosion, which in turn creates him so that he can go back and create the explosion. A never ending cycle."

"What does that have to do with the two of you?"

"It has everything to do with us!" she shouted angrily. "Have you ever considered that there was a reason that Dan did what he did? It's because no two beings of the exact same can exist. It is something that the universe doesn't allow."

"Two of the exact same?" Dani asked in confusion.

"Yes, two of the exact same," Princess said, calming herself before turning her head to look back at Ellie who was staring at her. "When to beings who are exactly identical exist, the universe forces them together because one of them has to die to balance everything out. Ellie doesn't know why, but she's getting stronger. Aren't you?" Ellie said nothing but simply nodded her head. "That's because the longer we stayed apart, the weaker we become until we either face each other, or one of us died off."

"How do you know all of this?"

"It's funny the things you learn when you visit the Ghost Writer and steal from his archives. When I started to get weaker, I went through all of Vlad's research but found nothing useful to me. So, I paid a visit to the Ghost Writer and had come to discover that there were clones, long before cloning had ever been discovered. A long time ago, there was a ghost who wished to rule the Ghost Zone. He would fight relentlessly, taking on any opponent that he could to show his strength. And yet, there was one thing that kept him from achieving his goal: his kindness. To him, any show of kindness or mercy was a show or weakness, and that was something he could not live with. And so, he began to search for a way to rid himself of all his mercy.

"For many years he searched, until finally, he found a way to do so. Using all his strength, he separated his merciful side from his aggression, creating a second him. However, by doing this, he created a paradox in the universe, for only one of them could exist. And so, without even batting an eye, he destroyed his other half, and by doing so, became more powerful then he was before. From that day forth, he took up the name Pariah Dark, permanently cementing his new identity of darkness and merciless nature."

Dani was completely shocked at this information. Who would have thought that Pariah Dark was once a completely different person? Someone actually capable of mercy? And not only that, but a doppelganger as well?

"But the story doesn't end there," Princess said. "No, there have been many doppelgangers throughout the centuries, and the stories always end the same; the two doppelgangers come together, and one of them always dies in the end. I'm sure you recall the stories of the clones of Mom and Dad?"

"They said that the clones were unstable, and that they couldn't live outside of their pods for very long," Ellie said quietly.

"They were wrong. They were clones, perfect copies of them, but because of the way they came into existence, they had virtually no chance to actually live. If they had succeeded in killing Danny and Sam, the universe would have allowed them to live and that would have been the end of it. But like all the other stories, one of them had to go, and the clones had no chance."

"Then what makes you so different? Why haven't you fallen apart into a puddle of goo too?" Dani asked with her eyes narrowed. To be honest, Danielle was more than just confused at this information because the same thing could be said for her. She had been created in the exact same way, but if what Princess said was true, then that would mean that there was another her before she was created, but that didn't make sense. Right?

"I was the same way, but because of Vlad giving me his DNA, It changed me, making it so that there was still a difference, as minor as it is, between us. However, this did not change the fact that I was still you, and since I was stable, there had to be another way for us to be forced together. And so, slowly, we both would get weaker and weaker. The further away we got from each other, the weaker we became. It didn't take me very long to realize this, so I made sure that Mom and Dad kept you all in Amity so that I knew where you were and how to get to you." Princess unclipped the clasp on her robe, allowing it to fall and drop to her feet. Her costume was different then Ellie's. Princess wore a black one piece suit with sown in red gloves. Her boots were thick and looked as if they were strong, as well as being the same red as her gloves. The top of her suit was a spaghetti strap, a blood red Phantom logo in the center of her chest. "For years, I've been waiting on this moment, and now, I'm going to get rid of you once and for all."

Ellie stared in fear as Princess began to stalk toward her. Dani's eyes grew wide as well as she watch the evil version of her move toward the timid one.

I've got to do something before that cold hearted bitch kills Ellie. She thought to herself. Then, like a bolt of lightning, it hit her. Cold! That's it! Plants hate the cold! Oh man, if there were ever a time for me to develop my ice powers, now would be it! Dani closed her eyes and began to try and focus on her core. Her father had explained to her about his ice powers and that like him, she had a cold core, which is where her Ghost Sense came from. Focusing on all the ectoplasmic energy that was in the room, Danielle began to push all of that sensation into herself, hoping that she could jumpstart her Ghost Sense and find her ice powers.

After a few seconds, Dani gasped, feeling the familiar feeling and sensation of knowing a ghost's presence. Following the feeling back to the source, Dani grabbed onto the cold feeling, and began to try and draw it out of herself. Unbeknownst to her, the once normal green in her eyes began to mix with the blue from her core, mixing the colors into a brilliant mix of the two. Pushing the sensation out of her body, Dani struggled to break free. The Vine that was wrapped around her began to tense up as the ice formed into small crystals on it.

Sam gave a shriek of protest at the cold sensation, loosening her hold on the girl, just as Dani had hoped. Building up a powerful kick, Dani swung her foot out, nailing Sam right in the chest. The impact shattered the vine and sent Sam flying back into the wall.

Stopping in her tracks, Princess narrowed her eyes at Dani. "You're a serious pain in the ass, you know that, right?"

"The feelings…mutual," Dani said, catching her breath. A low growl caught her attention as she turned to see Sam, now extremely angry, getting back to her feet. "Ah, crap."

"Why do you continue to fight? This isn't your fight to fight."

"Yes it is. It doesn't matter if I'm from this place or not. I fight to protect people, especially my family, even if it's family that I don't have," she said, smirking at Princess.

"I'd wipe that look off your face, missy. You're out numbered, and-" Princess stopped as Danny gave a loud grunt before falling into the adjacent wall and into Sam. Her red eyes fell upon the table with the others who were no longer being restrained. Jade flexed her fingers while Sam and Foley grinned at each other. Floating next to them was another Dani.

"A duplicate. I can't say I'm not surprised that you're that resourceful. Especially with how tired you must be," Princess said before snapping her fingers. Danny and Sam were at her sides instantly. "Take care of them while I finish my business."

The two paternal ghosts nodded their heads and charged straight toward their children. The Dani duplicate prepared herself, shifting into a battle position, but was stopped by Jade who stepped in front of her.

"We'll hold them off. You need to get Ellie out of here," she said, surprising Danielle.

"You're helping me now?" she asked, though she couldn't help smirking.

"Do you wanna ask questions?" Sam grinned, his eyes flashing.

"Or do you want to kick some butt?" Foley finished, a matching grin on his face. That was all that Dani needed to hear as she reabsorbed the duplicate and charged at Princess, slamming into the unsuspecting clone.

The two of them slid across the floor, crashing into a table and knocking the contents to the ground around them. Dani quickly sat up, bringing her fists back and began to repeatedly punch Princess with ecto-powered fists. However, this only angered Princess who grabbed both her fists and sent an electrical current through Dani's body. The red electricity shook her and racked her body painfully, leaving Dani open to an attack which Princess didn't hesitate to do, blasting her with twin red eye beams. Dani screamed at the searing pain as she was thrown off of her opponent who was now back on her feet.

"Ok, if that's how you want it, I'll just have to kill you first, and then the crybaby," Princess said, her hand crackling with energy. Dani glared at her, igniting her own hands after pushing herself up onto her feet.

Ellie was in complete shock. Why would anyone go through all the trouble to fight for her, when they hardly even knew her? Sure, she and Dani were technically the same person and all, but Dani had nothing to do with any of this. She even said it herself; they were family that she didn't have. And yet there she was, going toe to toe with an evil clone of herself, taking hit after hit while Ellie sat there like a scared gapping fish.

Looking over to the others, Ellie could see that they were clearly not doing too well, though that wasn't much of a surprise given that their parents were the ones who taught them to use their powers. And yet, that did nothing to deter her siblings from giving their all to fight for and protect her, their baby sister, who was always scared and hiding behind them. And how was she repaying them all for this? By sitting against the wall, scared and watching them all put their lives on the line.

"Will you stop it with the crying already!?" Dani's words rung out in her head from earlier. "Man up already! You're never gonna help anyone if all you're going to do is snivel and cry! Stop being weak and pull yourself together!"

"She's right," Ellie said, clenching her fists. Ignoring the pain that she still felt from her earlier assault, Ellie shakily pushed all her strength into her legs and stood up. Her body hurt, and she could feel her fear gripping her, but as she glared at the back of Princess's head, all the fear, all the pain and all the rage she felt just seemed to build up inside of her. Her eyes flashed to an intense green as she pushed it all forward. "Hey, bitch!"

Princess kicked Dani once more, leaving her on the ground in immense pain before rounding on Ellie. The site of the young girl being on her feet actually surprised her, but still made her smile.

"So, the scaredy cat finally grew a pair. Or, are you just making it easier for me to kill you?" She taunted, but her only response was a hateful glare. Ellie took a deep breath to steady herself as she prepared to make her declaration.

"I'm only going to say this once; stay away from my FAMILY!" she screamed. All the sound in room seemed to die down as her voice echoed off the walls. Princess smirked at her for a moment, but it quickly fell as a sudden force began to push her backwards. Looking to Ellie, Princess was taken by surprise as she watched her transform, and with it, large green rings began to travel from her mouth and toward her.

The rings moved swiftly and fast they began to destroy everything in their path. Travelling pass the pods, the glass was instantly shattered, freeing the sleeping ghosts inside.

Jade was the first to notice the blast coming toward them, and wasted no time in warning her brothers.

"Move it! We're in the line of fire!" she cried out. With a nod, Sam and Foley kicked Danny and Sam way, making room for them so as to avoid the attack. Jade was about to move out the way when her eyes feel upon the limp form of Dani who had reverted back to her human form and wasn't moving at all. "Danielle!"

"I've got her!" Sam yelled. Turning quick on his feet, Sam jumped onto all fours, an animalistic growl ripping pass his throat as he poured on cheetah like speed. Slipping past Danny and Sam, he quickly slid up to the young girl, picking her up and cradling her before pushing his strength into his legs and diving out of the away, barely missing getting hit by the wave. However, the same could not be said for Danny and Sam who took the brunt of the attack. The two specters gave out cries of anguish as they brought their hands to their heads and clutched them in pain.

Princess could feel her body screaming in pain as she tried to stand up to the attack, but that was becoming more and more of a problem as her feet began to slide. Looking at Ellie, she could see that she was getting tired as her appearance was starting to slip into a mixture of her human and ghost forms. Princess smiled as she held her ground, however, that left her completely open and unprepared for the Ghost Ray that came sailing out of nowhere and nailed her in the side, throwing off her balance and sending her flying away with the waves of energy.

Sam smirked as he held Dani who's hand was smoking and breathing was labored.

"Take…that…you bitch," she said before completely blacking out.

Princess came to a painful crash against the wall before sliding down to the ground. The waves had stopped, Ellie having run out of energy and falling to her knees. Princess breathed heavily as she angrily glared down at the other her. She didn't know how, but this little brat had bested her, and she wasn't about to take that.

Getting to her feet, Princess held onto the wall for support, and prepared to end Ellie as she raised her hand toward her.

"I have had it with you and all of this!" She screamed as her hand began to glow with charging red energy. "I'm going to end you right here, right now, you stupid annoying little bitch!"

"I don't think so." Princess turned to her left and felt the sharp impact as a large vine smacked her, quickly followed up by an intense blast of cold energy. Coming to a skidding halt, Princess turned to see Danny and Sam, eye glowing green with fury as they looked down upon her. "It's over, Princess," Danny declared.

"No. This is far from over," Princess said, her eyes glowing red. Firing a beam at the two of them, she took the momentary distraction to stand and fly toward the portal, pausing only to look at Ellie and say, "We will meet again, Ellie. And when we do, I can promise you that I will kill you and everyone else. You're all going to fucking pay for this." Without another moment's hesitation, Princess dove into the open portal, flying off into the abyss of the Ghost Zone.

Dani groaned as she opened her eyes, everything hurting from her toes to the tips of every strand of her hair. Her vision was blurry and slightly spinning, but she was able to make out the smiling faces of everyone as they hovered over her.

"Ok, you're all smiling, which means we won, right?" she asked, cracking a smile of her own.

"Dani!" Ellie cried, wrapping her arms around her and hugging the life out of her. That is, until Dani screamed in pain, startling Ellie who let her go. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry! I was just so excited that you're ok."

"It's fine, Ellie. Just, don't do it again," she said before turning to look at Danny and Sam. "Um, I bet this is kinda weird for you guys."

"No, not really," Sam said as she used her cloaked hand to move some hair from Dani's face. "My god. You look exactly like her."

"They may look alike, but this one's got a pretty bad mouth on her," Sam said as she stood in his human form, a grin on his face. Dani grinned back before noticing the now empty pods.

"Hey, where are the others?" Dani asked.

"In the Ghost Zone. Now that they're free, they're going to set up their lairs and then we're gonna start our search for Princess. Well, once we're all healed up and get our costumes fixed," Foley said.

"Well that's a relief. I'm glad everything worked out for you guys."

"Are you kidding me?" Jade asked in complete disbelief. "We couldn't have done any of this without you, Dani."

"No way, it was Ellie's Wail the beat her."

"Yeah, but you were the one who really saved the day," Ellie said. "You were the one who was fighting her off and saved everyone else while I was cowering in the corner. Not to mention when you blasted her so my Wail would send her flying. But it's not just this. If it hadn't been for your bravery and your determination to help save everyone, I wouldn't have known or seen the power I had inside of me and wouldn't have found the courage to stand up and fight. You're the real hero here Dani."

Dani smiled, holding her fist out to her double who smiled back and bumped it with her own fist.

"Well now that that's all settled, there's still the matter of how I'm going to get home to my family," Dani said. A blue flash caught everyone's attention as a large clock hand spun around in a circle before revealing Clockwork. "Clockwork. Of course you're here. After everything's already happened."

"I see that you've finished your business here, Danielle," he said with his signature smirk.

"Yeah, great to know that you sent me here for whatever reason without my knowledge," she said sarcastically.

"Everything is as it should be. I did not bring you here, fate brought you here because there were lessons that needed to be learned, and I'm sure I don't have to remind you all that your family is infamous for seeming to enjoy learning things the hard way," Clockwork said, eying each Fenton with a suggestive smirk.

"No, we got it," they all said in unison.

"Good. Now, it's time to go home, Danielle. You're family is expecting you home any minute." Clockwork waved his staff, opening a portal for her.

Dani turned to all the others, smiles on their face. Without hesitation, she pulled Ellie into a hug, receiving one in return.

"Thanks for everything, Dani. I can never thank you enough for saving us," Ellie said.

"No problem. We should do this again sometime. And if you ever need help, don't hesitate to come and ask," Dani said. Standing up, she walked over to the portal, giving them one last glance before walking through it.

Danielle blinked as she floated in the Ghost Zone. Her green eyes searched around for a moment as a fog of confusion waved over her. Danielle brought a hand up to her head, her fingers running through her white locks.

"Whoa. That was weird," she said. Looking around once more, she turned back toward the path home and began to fly. "Was I doing something? Maybe all that dust off of Clockwork's books is starting to get to me."

As she came upon the portal to her home, Danielle paused to take a deep breath before flying through it and into her basement. As was expected, her parents were there waiting for her, though she could tell that they were still not in the best mood. Rubbing the back of her head, Danielle looked to the ground before turning back to them.

"Listen, guys…I'm sorry about how I acted earlier. I guess I was just having a bad morning and I shouldn't have gotten so mad at you guys like that," Danielle said.

Danny and Sam blinked at her, surprised that she was being so mature and admitting her mistakes.

"Well, Ellie, that's very mature of you," Sam said.

"And to be honest, we're sorry too. We could have handled that better too," Danny said, kneeling and putting a hand on her shoulder. "We're very proud of you."

"Thanks Dad," she said with a smile as she pulled them into a hug. As the three of them embraced, Danielle couldn't help asking, "So does this mean that I'm not grounded?"

"Not on your life kid," Sam said as she and Danny started laughing and walking away. "Nice try though."

Danielle's face turned a bright red in annoyance as she crossed her arms and pouted.

"Jerks."

And there you have it everyone! I hope you all enjoyed this lil mini series in the EXTRAS! Saga. Now, before anyone asks, I'll explain a few things.

Many people had asked me before in my first story was there a chance for Dark Dani, and I had said no. The reason was because of this right here. I knew that people wanted a Dark Dani, and to be honest, so did I, but I didn't want her to be in the main story simply because then it would be expected to see her and that she would be the main villain. And she's not.

Dark Dani isn't gone, as you could see, meaning that there is a chance for her to return and give Ellie and her family serious problems. I have yet to decide if I'll do a separate series with that universe. Maybe, maybe not. If I do, we may have Dani in it to help again.

Ellie's family is very important to the main serious, though how they are I will not say. You'll have to wait and see, but I will say that this will not be the last time we see Sam, Foley and Jade.

There was some important information given in this chapter that will come up again in the main series. I want to see what you guys think it is and what you think it means so let me know in your review.

Well, that's it for now, so I hope you enjoyed it, have a great Father's Day, and will see you guys soon!

Laters,

Blak-Ice
