Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh!

Now let's see what's in store for Ryo this chapter, shall we?

Three months later, Ryo wore a baggy sweatshirt, light gray, and a pair of dark blue stretchy pants, as she walked to the Kaiba Mansion. It hid her large pregnant stomach quite well, so she walked out in daylight and got there quite a while later. She waited outside the gates until a voice came over the intercom.

"Bakura-san, Kaiba-sama does not wish to see you."

"But I have to see him. It's very important."

"I'm afraid I can't—"

"Bakura-kun!" Mokuba's voice called, then ordered the other person, "Go do something else for a while!"

"But Mokuba-sama—"

"I want him to come in!" the younger Kaiba brother insisted, before telling her, "Come on in!"

"Thank you, Mokuba-san."

The gates swung open and Ryo followed the driveway to the mansion, where Mokuba came running out to meet her.

"Bakura-kun! Nii-sama's busy in his office, so we can wait in the game room until he comes down for dinner. Do you like games?"

"Very much. My favorite is called 'Monster World'."

The younger boy lit up at the name. "Monster World?! Nii-sama and I played a lot when we were younger! We have a board in the game room! I wanna be the Dark Master!"

"Sure."

/He hasn't offended you, in fact it's quite the opposite, so I'll watch this game.\\

/Thanks, Bakura. I haven't played for fun in a long time.\

/Enjoy it, you get to confront Kaiba later.\\

/Don't remind me, please.\

"OH MAN!" Mokuba moaned. "I lost! You didn't tell me you were this good!"

Ryo smiled, overjoyed she'd been able to play just a friendly game while getting to know Kaiba's little brother. He was very friendly and competitive, which brought a fun side to the game that most beginners didn't bring. "Would you like to play again?"

"No way! You're too good, even if you're not the Dark Master! I'd be in trouble if you were!"

"Alright, why don't you pick the next game?"

"Okay! We'll play chess! I want to see how good you are in that!"

They'd just set up the game when Kaiba entered the room and froze in the doorway. His eyes narrowed and he stormed over, grabbing her by the arm. "Get out! I don't want you here!"

"Nii-sama, I invited Bakura-kun here!" Mokuba insisted. "Don't throw him out or else I won't talk to you for a whole week!"

Kaiba stopped and gave his little brother a probing look. When Mokuba didn't back down in his resolve, he frowned. He let go of Ryo's arm and sat down next to her. "You're playing chess? I thought you only liked playing with me, Mokuba."

"I wanted to see if Bakura-kun's any good at this, since he buried me in Monster World."

"Fine. I'll see how well this game goes."

When the game ended in Bakura's close loss, Kaiba snorted. "Your style is amateurish, Bakura. Where did you learn to play chess?"

"Otou-san—"

"Your father must've been no champion, then. Mokuba was taught by me, and I'm Japan's top player. He was just being nice so he wouldn't completely massacre you."

"Nii-sama!" Mokuba protested.

Ryo sighed and then smiled. She reached over the table and offered her hand. "Good game, Mokuba-san."

Mokuba shook and grinned. "Yeah, it was!"

/Can I at least cut him?\\ Bakura offered. /He's being a real jerk to you.\\

/No! I don't—\ She felt a huge pang of nausea hit her and covered her mouth. She bowed to the Kaiba brothers and murmured, "Excuse me," before she fled to the bathroom close by and puked.

She felt a hand holding her hair back as she did so and ripped some toilet paper off to wipe her mouth before she turned to see Kaiba behind her, a concerned look on his face.

"You're not taking this well, are you?"

She shook her head as she stood and rinsed her mouth, before turning the water cold and swiping her hand across her sweaty brow. "It's been hard for me ever since this began. I've been sick almost all the time, I'm sure I've dropped weight almost hazardously, but I can't go to a doctor to check."

"Would you like me to check you out? We have a medical room."

Bakura suddenly came out and whirled around. "Why? I thought you hated the fact that we chose to keep it."

Kaiba's eyes turned guarded as he realized that the Ring spirit was in control. "I've had time to think and I wasn't sure if it wasn't that bad that this is coming about now, instead of a time that's perilous for the both of us. Now that I've seen you, I'm sure that it's far safer for me to be nearby, just in case you get in trouble."

Bakura huffed and turned away. "I can protect us both, I don't need you harming Ryo again."

"Ryo's listening, right? I have something to say."

"Go on. I'm not going to relinquish control just yet. Ryo's too soft towards you."

Kaiba looked nervous before he bent down so his mouth was next to Bakura's ear. "Bakura Ryo, I love you."

At that, both entities inside the pale-haired body stilled.

/He…loves me?\ Ryo whispered. /Oh wow…\

/About time he 'fessed up. Should I leave you two lovebirds alone? I don't want to be seen kissing a man.\\

/Okay…\

Ryo heard the door close as she regained control and gasped as she was spun around. He took her face between his hands and kissed her, a soft, wanting kiss that had her heart fluttering in her chest. Tears came to both their eyes again and her hands grasped his shirt as he gripped the back of her sweatshirt. She felt the tears actually fall and his tears mixing with hers. It was such a tender moment she felt so loved.

Suddenly, they had to break apart because there was a knock on the door.

"Nii-sama? Is Bakura-kun okay?"

They both hastily wiped tears from their eyes and Kaiba opened the door. "Yes, he's just fine."

Ryo nodded and smiled. "What do we want to play now?"

"Duel Monsters!"

/Are you done now? I want to play against Kaiba when you and Mokuba are done.\\

/Okay, Bakura. Just don't use any of your weird powers.\

/Fine.\\

Bakura gloated over dinner as Ryo ate with the pouting Kaiba brothers. She'd beaten Mokuba, and Bakura had done the same to Kaiba. She didn't know what to do, since both of them didn't like being beaten, especially Kaiba. Mokuba finished and yawned. "Nii-sama, I'm going to bed."

Kaiba nodded and once Mokuba was out of earshot, he turned to Ryo, who'd finished long ago. "Bakura, come with me."

She nodded and followed him into a room which looked like an infirmary, save there were more gadgets in it than a doctor's office. He waved to a scale and asked, "What was your weight before you became pregnant?"

She stepped on it and murmured, "One-fourteen."

"You were a normal weight for a girl your height. Now…" He saw the number and his eyes narrowed. "Ninety-one…" He looked to her and ordered, "Shirt off, I want to see your torso."

She blushed but did as asked. He hissed when he saw her bones were beginning to poke out from her skin, even under her tank top. In comparison, her pregnant stomach seemed huge. He led her to a table and slid her tank top up so her baby belly was exposed. She flinched when he put warm gel on her skin and began to probe the spot, a picture coming up on the ultrasound screen. He watched and when he put the probe over one part, a tiny heartbeat sounded. She beamed as she heard this and looked to his face, but it stayed blank as he moved it downwards. The heartbeat faded, only to be replaced by a second.

"No wonder you're so sick all the time…" He looked down at her. "Your first pregnancy is twins."

Her eyes widened, then softened as she placed a hand on her stomach. "Two…"

/I knew that months ago,\\ Bakura grumbled. /They're floating in your soul room, wiggling and happy as can be.\\

/Why do you always speak up when there's a moment going on between the two of us?\

/I hate romance.\\

She shook her head, and looked up when he placed a hand over hers. "I wouldn't doubt all your friends would be overjoyed to hear this, but from now on, you're staying here, with me."

"You mean…you want them?"

He smiled softly and kissed her. "Of course I do, I was already swamped with rescuing Mokuba and my company on the verge of being taken over from within…you revealing that I was going to be a father was the straw that broke the camel's back, I just couldn't take it at that time. Now…I don't have the stresses I had before. Now I can look forward to—"

"Kaiba-sama, we've finished the prototype of the new duel disk," a voice announced from the lapel of his white trench coat. "Would you come down to the office to test it?"

He pressed the "KC" on his lapel and answered, "I'll be over as soon as I can."

"Alright, Kaiba-sama."

He pressed his lapel again and lifted her so she was pressed against his body. "I want to be with you as much as possible during this coming time. Now that my new duel disk is complete, I'll be beginning the Battle City Tournament."

He set her down on her feet and she pulled her sweatshirt back on. He walked out and she followed him down to his limo, where they took a short ride to KaibaCorp. They went down a secret elevator to the basement, where he set up the duel disk, which looked very different from the first version.

He dueled against his old deck with a duel computer and decimated it, with a card so powerful Bakura was aghast.

/An Egyptian God…\\

/Wha…? You know about it, Bakura?\

/I remember it well. The God of Obelisk…one of three gods wielded by the Pharaoh himself…\\

/Pharaoh? What's Egypt have to do with you, Bakura?\

/I'll tell you later.\\

/Okay.\

Now Battle City is on the verge of happening, and we know how our pair feels about each other! I do wonder what could possibly go wrong with a pregnant teenage girl during the chaos of such a tournament...
