Note: I don't own Beast wars, or it's characters. There will be OCs in here as well as self-insertion. There will be some DBZ flare in future chapters.

Chapter 9 part 1.

Upon the horizon the light of the sun was rising from the west, it's radiance was shining from the cloud and on to the ground below. Near a cliff was a blocked waterfall, water seeping from the cracks and on the edges of the cliff eight figures could be seen. There stood the Four Holy Knights facing their human counterparts the Four Horsemen. The four humans faced their spirit siblings with confidant grins, next to the humans where their rides they had made for themselves, Estevan already standing near his hover bike, while Josh was standing near a white hover scooter with feathered designs symbolizing his status as the white horseman.

Angel was holding a solid black hover board with turbine engines at the bottom, and Cody had a pale colored hover pack on his back. The humans and the knights gazed upon each other with grins on their faces. " You guys ready for this?" Estevan asked his siblings. They nodded with sheer excitement boiling in them. Turning to the knights he called out. " Are you guys ready?" Seriyuu smiled and shouted back. " You know we are!"

As you can see the eight of them have decided to have a race, and they couldn't wait to get started. As the rays of the sun was slowly covering them more water was leaking out ready to burst.

As the light of the sun rose above them the water had broken through the dam thus signaling the race. The humans turned their rides on and took of downwards along with the knights. Both parties raced down along side the cliff reaching the ground before the water came, the humans and the knights raced over the water feeling the sprays of the water and the wind on their faces. Soon they wen into a forest zooming by and dodging trees and other obstacles, going into an opening. They were neck to neck with one another, feeling the thrill and excitement coursing through their beings. Then they came to a rocky slide forming into a line they went down spiraling down the slide.

Each of them preformed their own tricks as they came falling down into a tunnel. Seriyuu was next to her human brother smiling at him as he came out of the cave, doing a forward flip with his bike, spinning around and punched and kicked the air. Soon they all reached ground level and raced through a cave zooming by one stalagmite from the other. Soon a light was soon ahead and all eight of them raced through. As the were racing what they didn't know is that their bodies were covered in a faint energy field. Estevan was covered in a red field, Josh in a white one, Angel black and Cody in a greenish pale one. And the knights were covered in their own respective colored energy fields.

As the racers came closer together their energy fields were merging into one large streak of light. Seeing a ramp coming the racers speeded up so fast they were almost a blur, they came close to the ramp and went so fast by the time they went airborne they had broke the sound barrier and turned into a bolt of light flying across the sky leaving a multi-colored trail behind them. Soon the eight racers separated and the light around them disappeared. They all were flying in the air feeling the wind rushing against them, deciding that the race was over they flew back to the Axalon feeling great to be back with their family.

Optimus and Rhinox were working on improving their scanners, in hopes of detecting any new stasis pod should the Predacons try to jam them again. The sound of engines caught Optimus' attention and turned to see his friends flying over. Smiling Optimus waved at them. " Well I see you lot had a nice day then?"

" You bet we did, it was the most coolest thing ever!" Angel said as she and her siblings landed in front of the rhino and ape. Rhinox chuckled at their enthusiasm. " Well I'm sure we all would like to hear about your race." Turning back at the dish tightening a bolt. " But right now we got to get this thing finished. Primus knows that if the Predacons jammed our sensors last time, what's to stop them from trying it again? If we're to rescue those stasis pods we better make sure that doesn't happen again."

" He's right we'll hear all about how your day went as soon as we get this defense field up." Agreeing to what Optimus said the humans and the knights helped them finish their satellite dish which acts as a defensive field to protect their sensors, and act as their own jammers so they can jam the Predacon's sensors should any stasis pods come. After hours of working they finished their defense satellite and went back inside since it was getting closer to night. Everyone was sitting at the table having dinner, while the four humans and the knights were telling their friends about the race that morning.

" Sound like you guys had fun didn't you?"

Everyone turned to where the voice came from. Standing at the door was another female Maximal. She had orange, brown, yellow and silver humanoid body, on her chest was a hawk's head which acted as her breast plate, while her back had folded wings, making them look like chibi wings. Her lower arms, legs, and shoulders were brown and her head was brown and on the sides were feathers, with a beak shaped visor, her face was silverish gray. Her eyes however were green. This avian is known as Air-Razor another female member of the Maximals. She had awakened two weeks ago when her pod crashed on the planet and would've died had it not been for Cody and Rhinox who found her pod and worked to keep her alive.

However Terrorsaur had found them and thus Rhinox had to hold of the pterodactyl Pred, while Cody worked hard trying to keep her spark alive. When her spark was stable Cody activated the DNA scanner and scanned a hawk that was nearby, once she had awakened Air-Razor helped and defeated Terrorsaur, since then she had been living with her teammates but she always left the base and took off into the sky admiring the beauty of the land.

" Hey Air-Razor! It's nice to see you again!" Cody exclaimed to her.

She chuckled at his cheerfulness. " It's nice to see you again to." She told him. " I was just in the neighborhood and thought I drop by for some dinner."

This got Suzaku jumping with joy to hear her wanting some of their food. " Oh that is wonderful! Please come and have a set sister Razor, the food is simply divine!" The phoenix knight exclaimed with joy. Air-Razor giggled at her excitement, since she had been living with them she considered Suzaku as her little sister. Sitting next to her fellow avian everyone was about to dig in until Byakko looked around the room with a questionable look. " Hey Air-Razor have you seen Tigertron anywhere? Cause he was supposed to be here by now?"

" I'm right here little cub." A masculine voice with a hint of wisdom was heard from the same door Air-Razor came through.

Coming from the door was the Maximal in question, Tigertron's robot mode was the same formation as Cheetor's but with light green metal and his face had a nose almost the shape of that of a felines. His eyes were a bright red color and as his name suggested his beast mode was a white tiger. He was sound a week ago right after Air-Razor was found. When the four humans were out on patrol for any energon or Predacons Tarantulas had ambushed them and got Angel separated from her brothers. Angel was then lost somewhere in the snow after was through the cold for hours, she nearly passed out and was about to be killed by a white tiger, only for Tigertron to come out of his pod to save her. When he placed her in his pod to keep her warm he stood guard until the Predacons had arrived to take his pod. A fight broke out between the Maximals and the Predacons until the Preds had retreated. Upon returning to the Axalon it was then known to them that after crashing into the planet Tigertron felt more tiger then robot. He was given a place among the Maximals but he decided to roam around the land feeling more at home in the wild then in the base.

" Hey big bro! I was wondering when you'd show up!" Byakko enthusiastically said. Since Tigertron had been with them Byakko had considered him like a big brother since Tigertron was a fellow white tiger, he was more matured than Byakko but he cared for him like any sibling would.

" Hehehehe, you honestly think I'd miss out on this bountiful feast?" The elder tiger asked.

As soon as he sat down to eat, the humans and the knights told the Maximals about their race and how exciting it was for them. Soon they all turned in for the night with Air-Razor and Tigertron spending the night with them, but what the Maximals or the Predacons didn't know is that ten stasis pods had entered the planet's atmosphere and crashed at different locations.

At the crash site a lone pod was sizzling from the fire that surrounded it, sparks were flaring and wiring were exposed and torn. Then the DNA scanner rose out of the pod albeit shakingly, the yellow field scanned the whole area for organic life, until it scanned a fossilized skeleton of a velociraptor. Finishing it's task the scanner retreated back into the pod to begin replication sequence.

[SUITABLE DNA SCAN ACQUIRED BEGINNING REPLICATION SEQUENCE.]

As the replication sequence was starting, sparks were reacting violently, alarms were blaring and circuits were overloading.

[WARNING! WARNING! DAMAGED DNA SAMPLE ACQUIRED! BEGINING GENETIC RECONFIGURATION.]

As the pod was making changes to the protoform, the pod started shaking violently as the damages from the crash landing were making things seem worse for wear.

[ALERT! ALERT! SYSTEM OVERLOAD! REPEAT SYSTEM OVERLOAD!]

With that a small explosion came from the console and smoke was coming from the pod. All seemed quiet at first until.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Loud banging were heard from the pod, something inside it was smashing it's way out. With four more hits the noise had stopped, everything was all calm until.

BANG!

With one final strike a shadowed head broke through the pod like an egg, the creature's blazing red eyes could be seen in the darkness. It gave a fearsome hiss and let out an earsplitting shriek into the air celebrating it's freedom.

The next morning everyone was up and about, after having a good breakfast both Tigertron and Air-Razor had left the Axalon to be back in the wild. Optimus and the other Maximals were at the command center trying to figure out what their next plan was should the Preds attack or any stasis pods show up. As he was talking to Rhinox Optimus saw at the corner of his optic, Estevan, Josh, Angel and Cody were heading for the hanger bay. " And where are you four going?" He asked them.

" We're thinking about going on patrol while you guys try and think of something." Estevan told him. Cody nodded. " Yeah and we thought we might find something out there. So we'll give you a call if we do."

The Maximal leader rubbed his chin in thought. After some thought he decided to let them go off. " Alright you four go on with your patrol, and be careful if you see any Predacons either call us or try to hold them off understand?"

The four horsemen stood at attention and gave him a salute. " We got you chief!" They said in unison.

He chuckled as the foursome went in the hanger bay. It's already been a month since those four came into the Maximal's live, since they crash landed on this world. They've been through so many adventures like the time they went to those standing stone or as Josh called it "Stonehenge." Discovering that an alien probe had appeared and taking him and Estevan and scanned the both of them. As well as having Rattrap fooling the Predacons into thinking he betrayed them, which lead to the birth of another spider Predacon, much to Angel's dismay and horror. Yes they've been through so much Optimus already started to see the four humans like his own children.

Although they can take care of themselves doesn't mean he can't stop worrying about them. He just hoped that they can find a way to send them back to their time, but deep down he knew if they did a small part of him hoped that he won't send them back. Letting out a small sigh he turned back to the command console hearing the four horsemen taking off silently praying to Primus to watch out for them.

Soaring through the air the four horsemen took a moment to feel the wind rushing through them, and at the same time keeping a sharp eye out for anything suspicious or out of the ordinary.

" See anything you guys?" Estevan asked.

Josh shook his head. " Nope nothing on my end." " Same here. Lots of nothing." Cody said.

As her brothers were talking Angel saw tread marks on the ground, big tread marks heading for the forest. " Hey you guys, I found something. Down there!" She pointed at the ground showing them what she saw. Deciding they should take a look the foursome landed on the ground and began to inspect the site. Kneeling down Josh was scrapping his hand over the moved earth until he felt some metal shards. " Yeah a stasis pod fell here alright. Probably last night while the dish was loading itself up." He hypothesized.

" And if the pod did crash through here, we'll find it in the forest." Estevan told them. " Shouldn't we contact Optimus first? I mean, he did say to contact him if we find anything." Cody replied.

" It's too risky, the Preds might tap into our com links, and no doubt come after the pod before the others could get here." Estevan told him. " Besides there's a good change the pod might or might not survived or the new Maximal might be awake."

With no room for argument they went inside the forest in search of the pod and hopefully the new Maximal. A few minutes later they found the pod, or what's left of it. The pod before them was a scrap heap the console was destroyed, slash marks were seen on it. But what caught their eye is the door was forced open from inside the pod. " Well I guess that solve that little mystery. The proto form is awake, but the pod is a mess." Cody said. The foursome went to get a closer look at the pod, when Estevan saw something next to the pod.

Kneeling down he saw two toed foot prints. " Raptor tracks." He mumbled to himself. They were indeed raptor tracks but they were much bigger than Dinobot's beast form. Which meant the Maximal got a scan of a velociraptor and must've ran off somewhere in the woods. Looking up from the tracks he gazed into the slightly dark woods before him eyes narrowed. " And if the new Maximal did this to the pod, then something must've happened to it. We gotta find it and fast!"

Standing up he turned to his siblings and said. " I found some tracks, leading from the pod into the forest. If we head in there, we'll find our missing Maximal."

" You think we should bring our rides?" Cody asked. " I mean it'll be a lot quicker if we use them to find our new recruit."

Estevan shook his head. " No deal, the forest is too thick and dense. And there's no way my hover bike or Josh's scooter can get through all that." He points to the forest proving his statement. The forest is indeed to thick for their vehicles to get through. " Besides even if we did get through with our rides, the engine noise will give us away. Which is why we're going on foot. So grab your guns and let's go."

With that the four humans ventured into the forest, as they wondered through the forest they can see that the canopy above them was closing in, blocking any sun light leaving only beams of light going through the leaves. They continued to follow the tracks and listening for anything that might ambush them. Then Estevan stopped making the others stop as well. " What is it bro? You found something?" Angel asked.

Instead of answering her he bent down and found the tracks stopping at the base of a tree. He saw that the tree had claw marks leading up to the top of the tree. Then suddenly everything around them fell silent, which meant something was near by. Getting back up he brought his laser pistol out. " Everyone get your blasters out, we're about to have company."

Soon all of them had their weapons out ready to fire at anything that moves. It was quiet, deadly quiet no birds were heard which only made them tense. Then they heard some rustling noises from the bushes. Pointing their guns at the bushes waiting for the moment to fire. Then they heard twigs snapping making them point at every direction of their surroundings. Sweat was seen on Estevan's forehead the anxiety and adrenaline were coursing through his body, his heart was pounding like a drum. Licking his dry lips he continued to survey the area when suddenly.

SWOOSH!

Something faster than Cheetor or Dinobot zoomed by and took Cody with it! " CODY!" The threesome shouted.

" AAAAAHHHHHH!" Cody screamed as he was being carried off by a shadowy figure. Angel took aim and was about to fire when Josh stopped her. " Don't shoot! You might hit Cody!" He exclaimed. Then the threesome raced off to help their brother as his screams were heard, it was very difficult to catch up to their attacker. It was fast, really fast! So fast it'd make Cheetor really turn green with envy in terms of speed. Suddenly they heard Cody stopped screaming and had to hustle their asses to get to him, hoping Cody was alright. After finally reaching where he was they stopped panting heavily and coughing. " *Huff* Cody! *Cough* You al-alright!" Josh asked.

Cody by the looks of it only had some bruises and some scratches, but other than that he was ok. " L.. look out... look out behind you!" Just when Estevan turned around something zoomed by and tackled him.

" GAAAHHHH!"

"BRO/ESTEVAN!" Josh and Angel shouted as they saw their brother wrestling with his attacker. Estevan shouts and grunts as he held the snout of the creature on him. It hissed and growled as it tried to sink it's teeth on the human beneath it. Having enough of this Estevan put his feet on it's belly. " RRRRRAAAAAAHHHHHH!" He rolled on his back sending his attacker flying into a tree. Getting back on his feet he glared at his attacker not bothering to face his siblings as they rushed to his side. The creature before them got back up and growled angrily at them. Soon sunlight broke through the canopy and revealed the beast.

The creature before them really is a velociraptor albeit a really big raptor. It was taller than Dinobot in his beast form at 2,5 m/6 feet. It's coloring is what caught their attention. While Dinobot was a mix of light and creamy brown color this one had black at the top, starting from the head, half of it's body and base of the tail with the tip being black. The lower half was blue with black stripes on it's thighs and on it's back had three light green stripes with two other light green stripes behind it's head. It's snout and head had blue stripes circling around and it's eyes were a fiery orange color.

The four humans stared in awe at the creature, no doubt the result from the crash must've damaged the DNA scanner and caused the protoform to end up like this. The raptor hissed angrily at them thus snapping them out of their trance. Estevan hardened his gaze as he brought his gun closer. " Weapons ready you guys, this is gonna get ugly." He said placing his finger on a red button. His siblings followed his lead and placed their fingers on their pistol's red buttons. The humans and the raptor stared at one another for what felt like hours everything was silent until a wind blown through the trees, causing the branches to rustle. " NOW!" On his command they pressed the buttons and their guns started to change into different weapons.

Estevan's pistol tilted upward into the sky. The barrel split in half as a large blade appeared with the barrel halfs tilted and faced outward posing as a blade guard.

Josh's pistol split all the way to the handle, with the butt ends connecting the bottom parts of the barrel detached themselves and connected with the barrel head. Long sharp blades appeared at the tips making the weapon look like a double edged sword, which also acts as a bow to fire energy arrows and can separate into a dual weapon.

Angel's pistol tilted upward with the bottom of the barrel detaching and connecting with the handle forming a hand guard, and with a flick of her wrist a whip made of energy came from the barrel head.

Cody's pistol extended it's handle till it was as long as a bo staff. The barrel split down the middle allowing a long curved blade to come out thus becoming a scythe.

The four humans along with the aid of Rhinox were able to modify their laser guns, so that they can transform into other weapons that they need for close quarter combat. With their weapons in hand the foursome got into a fighting stance as the raptor bared it's teeth and held it's claws out. With that the humans let out a war cry and charged the raptor returned the gesture in kind as it leapt in the air. Soon the whole forest was filled with war cries, shouts, grunts shrieks and clanking sound which echoed through the forest.

Hey everyone sorry it took so long, I know you wanted a longer chapter, but with my school work backed up and my sister skyping almost all the way till one in the morning. I decided to make it into a two or three part chapter, I'll be taking my break till next Friday and once that's over I'll be doing the next chapter of The Lost One and hopefully finish the other chapter of Beast Wars Season 1. Also if your a member of Fictionpress be on the look out for a story coming in the summer time. It's called DEUS I'll be working on it on the first of June and I'll be working on it through out the summer so my three stories will be on hold for the time being, also be sure to expect other season of DEUS and crossovers of my very own story series.
