Chapter 10: Fall of the Galactic Empire

Kraynic's attack on the Rebels proved fatal. The Rebel Alliance decided that it wasn't worth it to keep aiding the Empire and withdrew their fleets from battle. The Empire was wide open for a takeover. The question was who would invade, the Hutts the Sith or the Rebels? The answer was all of them.
The Hutts sent an army led by General Granrax to attacked Coruscant. The Sith sent a fleet to defeat Darth Zanah and the rest of the Imperial fleet. Lastly the Jedi organized an army and assault team to go to Coruscant to take out Emperor Kraynic. The Sith successfully defeated Darth Zanah, killing him and the rest of his fleet. The Fourth Battle of Coruscant was about to begin.
The Hutts reached the planet first. Their army cut through the Imperial defense like butter. Then the Rebels came in, led by Meala Star. The two armies met and attacked each other. Star led the assault team away from the conflict and toward Kraynic's chambers. However Ganrax beat the Jedi there and attempted to take out Kraynic himself, instead Kraynic turned Granax to the dark side and ordered him to take out Meala's team.
The Jedi ended up defeating Ganrax's troops but were forced to kill Ganrax to do so. Finally Meala met up with Emperor Kraynic. Kraynic tried to turn Meala to the dark side but her will was to strong so instead he dueled with her. Their battle was a great one. The two were evenly matched but again Kraynic's force powers were stronger only this time his opponent knew what to do.
When Kraynic shot his powerful lightning in trying to kill her, Meala deflected it with her light saber and turned it towards him. He increased his power and when Meala reached him, there was an epic explosion.
Kraynic was dead but so was Meala, the symbol of the Republic through its hard times. With her dead the Rebellion was much weaker and everyone knew it.
