Riley woke up confused, at first forgetting where she was. She looked over, saw Maya sound asleep, and smiled. She then got closer to her and whispered, "get up, sleepyhead."

Maya groaned and tucked her head under Riley's chin.

Riley smile grew wider. "You are really bad at hiding. You do know that's me, right?"

"I know it's you, I was just hoping you would just cuddle instead of trying to get me up," Maya whispered under her breath.

Riley laughed and hugged her friend. "We do have to get up at some point, you now."

Maya smiled. "I know, but I just want to be with you right now."

Riley heart melted and she kissed the top of Maya's head.

Cory and, who was across the room standing and talking quietly to Shawn, suddenly called out, "Come on, girls! We're going to go and get breakfast. You can continue hugging later."

Riley and Maya both laughed and Riley pulled Maya over to the boys.

Maya reluctantly followed her out the door, grumbling about still being tired.

As soon as they got to where the food was, Maya seemed wide awake and perky for once. The girls looked at each other when they looked towards the food. "Waffles!"

Shawn laughed. "Yesterday you did that for pancakes. What's next, tomorrow are you going to yell 'french toast!?'"

Maya smiled. "Yup, tomorrow is French toast. Even if there isn't any."

Riley came up behind her and added, "Get used to it, uncle Shawn, you're the one who decided to become a part of our family."

Shawn just shrugged.

Riley and Maya exchanged smiles. It was fun to mess with Shawn. Yet at the same time, they weren't exactly lying. Both of them got waffles then they went to sit down.

Cory and Shawn made it simple and got cereal.

"So, where are we going today, Dad?" Riley asked after a while.

Cory laughed. "You'll know when we get there. Didn't Shawn tell you that yesterday?"

Maya and Riley groaned dramatically, making the boys laugh.

"Today will be fun, we promise," Cory continued.

I'm honestly not sure how long this fanfic is actually gonna be, but I think this one is gonna take a little while. I also might make a new one-shot soon, so be on the lookout for that. *Fist-bump*
