Ok totally not the last chapter. I'm just going to keep going until I'm done. Enjoy!

Elsa felt Kristoff staring at her as their party got closer to Arendelle. She was practically shaking beside him.

"Your majesty..." A guard said. She looked up. "Arendelle...it's...not..."

Elsa stood on the moving sled, nearly losing her balance. Kristoff wrapped an arm around her legs to steady her. Her jaw dropped.

All around them, the ice was melting. Green grass and leaves covered earth and trees. As they'd left the mountains, it was only slightly noticeable and Anna had commented on it. With the kingdom in sight, there was hardly an ounce of snow on the ground.

Elsa put her hand over her heart. "How...how is this...possible...?" She sat down, turning to Kristoff.

He thought about it, his eye grew wide. "Elsa...last night you said...and olaf said"

"Love...i said...I loved you..." She gasped and wrapped her arms around him, kissing him softly.

Anna coughed behind them. They both glanced back at her with annoyed expressions.

"If you're finished," Anna teased. "we have an arrest to plot." She lay on her stomach beside Klaus, her feet up in the air. He was aimlessly playing with one of her braids.

Klaus punched the air half heartedly. "Finally something interesting to talk about."

Elsa sighed. She had avoided the topic for the entire journey to keep herself from attacking the prince herself. He had remained at the rear of the team for the entire trip, not speaking to anyone.

"I suggest we focus on the people of Arendelle first...then we'll worry about him..." She turned to the guard closest to the sled. "Have several men mark the Prince's moves. He is to stay in sight until we return to the palace..."

"Yes your majesty..." The guard nodded.

The return to Arendelle had caused quite a stir. The citizens and dignitaries all cheered as the sled pulled into the courtyard. Elsa was frozen in shock, with her hand over her heart. Kristoff chuckled. "Do you hear that?"

"QUEEN ELSA!"

"SHE'S RETURNED!"

"THE KINGDOM IS SAFE!"

Kristoff jumped off the sled, helping Elsa down. She clasped her hands together as the people silenced themselves.

"Citizens...of Arendelle...I owe you an apology...and an explanation..."

Kristoff leaned against the sled and watched in admiration as Elsa explained her powers. She talked about how she'd had them since birth. With a flourish of her hand, she cast a few snow flakes in the air. The people took in her every word, watching her like she was some sort of heavenly being.

"Now that we've gotten that out of the way...I have something more serious to-"

"WHAT IN THE BLAZES!"

Everyone turned to the scrawny old man who had pushed his way to the front of the crowd. Kristoff heard Klaus groan in annoyance.

"KLAUS!"

"Your grace..."

"WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?" Klaus was barely off the sled when the old man tried to pry him off. His cast was melting so he stumbled and winced

"No I'm..."

"DID THAT...THAT...THING ATTACK YOU?!"

"GRANDFATHER!" Klaus bellowed. "WOULD YOU SHUT IT?!"

The scrawny man blinked in surprise. "K-Klaus-"

"Enough! Didn't you just hear the queen? She's harmless..."

"B-but your leg?"

"Is broken because Prince Hans let me and Princess Anna fall off a cliff."

There were gasps from the crowd. The prince, who was standing beside two guards, tried to step away but was stopped.

Elsa crossed her arms and straightened up.

"That brings me to my next order of buisness. Prince Hans of the Southern Isles..." She turned to him, receiving his glare with a smirk. "You are under arrest for the attempted attack on the princess' life."

He snorted. "I didn't do anything! It was your monster!"

Elsa's glare was cold as ice. "The princess called for your help. And you denied her of it for your own safety? I think not. You wanted to get rid of her so you could take the kingdom of Arendelle for yourself!"

"You can't prove that!"

"Oh but I can. I have witnesses." She gestured to the rest of the search party. They all began nodding in agreement. "Guards!" Elsa called. Several stepped forward, pinning Hans' arms behind his back. "Put this man in the dungeons."

Elsa turned with a flourish of her cape. Kristoff smirked at her in amusement. She smiled back at him and winked.

"Someone fetch me a doctor for my sister's guard." She said to the nearest citizen. "Let's all go to the palace..."

Anna sighed in exhaustion as they walked into the foyer of the palace. Home at last...

"Where shall we put the young gentleman?" A guard asked.

"Oh! Here he can go in my room!"

"Anna!" Elsa put her hand to her mouth.

Anna rolled her eyes. "Can it sister. We alllllll know what you'll be busy with this evening."

Kristoff snorted and wrapped an arm around Elsa's waist as she advanced towards Anna. She crossed her arms and sneered at her sister, before giggling.

Anna waited outside as they laid Klaus in her room. Klaus is in my room. She felt her cheeks getting hot. The guards exited swiftly just as a doctor entered. It took him forever to analyze Klaus' injured leg and put on the stiff cast.

"Should heal in a few weeks, maybe a month. For now stay off of it."

The doctor left the room and turned to Anna. "Make sure he stays off that leg. Nothing strenuous."

"Thank you!" She called after him. Once he was down the hall, she slipped into the room and shut the door. She glanced over her shoulder at Klaus. He was looking at her enormous pillows.

"These pillows are as long as my torso."

"Uh duh they're supposed to be. They're also super fluffy." She crossed the room and sat beside him, kicking her boots off. "Much better than an ice bed huh?"

"I'd take an ice bed over the hammock I had on our boat. Not looking forward to that journey home..." He trailed off.

Anna clasped her hands together. She'd forgotten all about that. The coronation was over, and all the dignitaries would return home.

"You look like I just told you I killed a puppy."

Anna shook her head looking down. She fought to hide in tears. Crying? Why are you crying?

"Anna..." Klaus reached forward and took her hand. Anna blinked and a tears dripped onto his hand. He sighed. "Come here..."

Anna crawled forward and lay down beside him. She stared into space as he played with her hair again. The journey was catching up to her. Her sister was home, Arendelle's eternal winter was over... Klaus can go home.

"I don't want you to leave..." She finally said.

"Then I won't."

"What?!" Anna sat up.

"I won't leave..."

"But you serve the Duke?! Your...your grandfather...? Ew I had to dance with your grandfather..." Anna made a face.

Klaus chuckled. "Yes you did. My brother and I were pitying you in the corner."

"Your brother?"

"The other guard. He's my brother...our grandfather is a very suspicious man, so we have to go almost everywhere with him..."

"Then why would he let you stay here?!"

"Arendelle is our strongest trade partner!" Klaus mocked the Duke's voice. Anna snorted as he began to rub an invisible mustache. "If I were to stay in Arendelle, I could ensure all the trade relations were going well."

They both began laughing. Anna put her head on his shoulder.

"So you're staying?"

"Anything for you..." Klaus nudged her, so she put her head up. He stroked her cheek with his hand. "I'm willing to give this love you talked about a chance."

Anna wrinkled her nose and sat up. "First you have to pass my test."

"You have a test now?"

"Yes I do. First, your favorite food?"

"If I say chocolate do I pass?"

Anna huffed. "Yes."

"What's the prize for this little test?"

Anna giggled. "Oh...who knows..." She leaned forward and kissed him quickly. "..something boring..."

Klaus wrapped an arm around her waist. "Bore me to death then."

Elsa sighed as she stepped into her bedroom. Kristoff whistled softly.

"This is the biggest bedroom I have ever seen..."

"Well get used to it." Elsa mused, turning to him. "Because it's ours..."

Kristoff raised an eyebrow. "Oh really?"

"Really..." She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling his lips to hers.

She felt the warmth explode inside of her as they kissed. This room was no longer the cold reminder of her parent's death. It was hers, where she could rule as queen with a king beside her. She pulled back, running her hand along Kristoff's cheek.

"What is it?"

"...I love you..."

"I love you too..."

"I want you to be my...my king Kristoff..."

His face twisted in shock. Elsa panicked inside. He doesn't want too! Stupid stupid stupid

"I...I mean...I have no idea how to rule a kingdom Elsa..."

She pulled herself from his embrace. "You're right...that was stupid of me...I shouldn't have said something like that..."

"But I mean...if it's what you wanted..."

Elsa turned on her heels. "I can teach you Kristoff...I mean...I could still rule the kingdom...but we'd...we'd just..."

"So you're saying..." Kristoff crossed his arms and smirked. "You want me to stay here for a really long time."

Elsa rolled her eyes. "Yes...I am..."

"That was probably the worst proposal in the history of proposals."

"Oh I can think of worse-" She gasped as Kristoff picked her up. Her heels fell off as her legs dangled over his arm.

"Then I'll do it."

Elsa smiled, pressing her forehead to his. "You will?"

"I will."

"Good...now put me down."

He snorted and put her on her feet. "You're even shorter without heels."

Elsa scoffed and hit his chest. She paused and stared at her hand, running it along Kristoff's coat. She glanced up at him.

"You mean so much to me..."

He tucked her hair behind her ear. "I was hoping I did...now come on. Those fancy dukes all want to go home."

Elsa sighed and stepped away from him. "I should put on a different dress. They all can't think straight with me in this."

"Hey neither can I." Kristoff laughed. He untied the belt on his coat and shucked it off.

Elsa couldn't help but stare at the muscles on his arms. His rolled the sleeves of his blue undershirt to his elbows. Elsa sighed in frustration.

"Something wrong?" He smirked.

Elsa crossed the room and grabbed the front of his shirt. She pushed him down onto the large bed. "To hell with the dignitaries..." She kissed him fiercely, pushing him back.

The dignitaries could handle their own travel plans. She had more important matters to assess.
