The Wasp
It was about 10 minutes till the bell would ring for school to start. Rose and Carrie were standing in the playground talking with each other. When Carrie looked over Rose's shoulder to see Oscar running in the school gate.
She nudged Rose and pointed at Oscar.
"This is the earliest I think he's ever been in to school" Rose whispered to Carrie.
"I think this is the earliest he's been awake" Carrie whispered back making them both start laughing.
Oscar ran up to them looking a little rushed.
"Hey have either of you seen Mel?" he asked still looking all around him.
"Not this morning no but she won't be late so she will turn up any minuet why?" Replied Rose.
"Oh right it's just yesterday I called her for help with learning Spanish and her phone died half way though. I couldn't get back in touch with her all night I got kinda worried she probably just forgot to put it on charge" Oscar lied
He would have told them the truth but he wanted to talk to Melody first. He needed to know exactly what all of it meant and what happens next, a kiss like that could never mean nothing. Plus he knew if he told them then they would never stop talking about it and if they wanted to just forget about it then Rose and Carrie wouldn't let them.
Melody walks in the school gates at that moment and Carrie points.
"Oh look there she…." Oscar runs off towards her before Carrie even got a chance to finish.
Melody see's Oscar coming up to her and stops in place she has no idea what to say after just running out like she did.
"Hi" Oscar nervously said as he reached her.
"Yea hi" she replied trying to look anywhere else but at him.
He looked around at the amount of people around them he couldn't risk one of them hearing so he takes Melody's hand and pulls her aside to a less populated area of the playground.
"OK ok Oscar I guess we have to talk don't…" Before Melody could finish her sentence Oscar send his lips crashing into hers.
She put her hands on his shoulders push him away but when Oscar pulled her closer slightly she gave into the kiss and wrapped her arms around his shoulders.
It was much slower than their previous one but just as much heat and passion in it.
Oscar pulled away
"Sorry I thought I would regret it too much if I didn't do that" he said still very close to her gently pushing her long blond hair behind her shoulders and then stroking her arms.
Melody puts her hands on his arms and puts them back beside him.
"That can't happen again Oscar, there's rules about agents being together and I've seen what happens when agents break up and how much it destroys both of them and I can't let that happen to us. It's best if we just go back to the way it was, I'm sorry" she runs off in tears.
Oscar stands there unable to believe what had just happened it's the first time he had really let his emotions rule everything else and now his heart was broken. He didn't want to go back to the way it was before. How could he? How could he go back to secretly liking her after he knows how amazing it feels to touch her skin and feel her red lips on his? But he doesn't have a choice.
The bell rings he shakes his head to try to not look hurt then walks into class making sure he's last in.

(A few hours later)
Mrs King walks in with her special guest lady Blahga and Philip Blahga closely followed by Carrie and Melody.
"We are very proud of our facilities lady Blahga, very proud, state of the art, no expense spared" she explains with a huge smile on her face that disappears as soon as she turns to see Oscar, Avril and Amber standing with guilty looks on their faces next to a shutdown computer that has a small bit of smoke coming out of the back.
"What on earth has happened here?" she asks to the three of them.
After a few moments silence the girls look at Oscar.
"Oh erm its having a little rest" he hoped Mrs King had to be nice because of Lady Blahga standing behind her.
"Oh modern technology hey amazing" she smiled and laughed a little.
They kept talking but Melody wasn't listening to any of it she was just looking at Oscar and how close he was to Amber. Ever since she showed up Oscar hasn't even been looking at anyone else. She then felt a kind of sick pain in her stomach like she didn't know if she wanted to go be sick or cry she had felt it all through that day ever since first lesson started, she would have told Frank but they had a mission to do so she decided to keep quiet, but the more the day went on the more this feeling grew. Whatever was wrong with her she didn't like it she had never been sick before or at least not since she could remember and if this is what it felt like she didn't like it at all.
She was snapped out of her thoughts by Mrs King and the two guests walking out the room nearly followed by Amber but she is stopped by Oscar.
"Hey are you ok?" he asked very concerned.
She point to an ink stain on her pocket.
"Oh I'm clumsy to we're the same" he smiles and Melody is filled with that feeling again she loves that smile but seeing it today just make her feel like this and she doesn't even know what that feeling is.
Amber walks out the room and Melody goes to follow but Oscar stops her too by holding her arm but a bit more firmly then he did with Amber.
"Hey she's just cleaning her jumper" Oscar says to stop her walking out too.
Melody just rolls her eyes and is about to turn back round and follow her anyway but is stopped again by Oscar grabbing her arm.
"On my soul she has bewitched you Oscar" Avril complains.
"This is proper random" Melody confusedly says "OWWW my leg" as the wasp zaps her in the back of the leg.
She holds her leg and leans on the table not able to put too much pressure on that leg. Oscar looks up at the camera wanting to say a lot of bad words about it but knowing he can't, so he hooks Melody's arm over his shoulder and helps her walk to the base with him and Carrie.

(In the base)
Just as Oscar has helped Melody out of the lift and to the closest part of the desk to lean against.
"Wait why is the countdown still going?" Melody asks looking at the screen.
"St Croaks was only one of the sources I've just decoded another knee high high school" Rose said typing too much to concentrate.
"Amber doesn't know anything anyway I asked her" Oscar said slightly pleased with himself.
"Oh that's ok then you know, because criminals always tell the truth don't they" Melody says very sarcastically.
"Oscar could be right Amber didn't go to both schools did she" Rose stated in defence. "There must be something connecting them" she turns back to the screen staring at the school names.
"Look Phillip Blahga knew exactly where the spare light bulbs where kept maybe he's been here before sabotaging the system" Oscar points out.
"Or maybe you've gotten too close to your new friend" Melody says cutting in before Oscar could carry on.
Oscar just rolls his eyes and try's to ignore her, she's not normally someone who would act like this.
"It can't be easy in the shadow of such a successful wife. It's not hard to find a motive" Oscar just tries to keep the conversation on topic.
"He's avoiding the subject" Melody points out as she crosses her arms.
Oscar rolls his eyes again wanting to just drag her away so they could get all of this anger out of their systems but the world comes before anything personal.
"Look we haven't got time for this" Frank jumps in just as he see's Oscar and Melody are getting ready to start shouting.
"Rose crack the rest of the code. Carrie you keep watch upstairs if he is behind it he will want to make a move before it blows, as for you two go to the records room check the files see if Phillip Blahga has been here before" He orders before anyone has a chance to start talking again.

(In the records room)
"I'm telling you I'm right Amber's innocent… why are you so quick to put her as the lead suspect?" wanting to finish the argument that he and Melody had been have all the way though the school.
"Gerrrrrrrr Oscar you're such a" hears a wasp camera start buzzing "foolish young man" they both laugh a little that she just said that.
They walk in different directions it's a small room but it has a lot of files in. Melody walks over to the far wall and sees the one they are looking for.
"Phillip Blahga" she takes the file out and opens it as Oscar walks over to look thought it too.
"Oscar you're right he has been here before. They both have they were teachers. I'm sorry….maybe Amber isn't out suspect after all" she says with a touch of sadness at the end.
Oscar knows how hard it is for her to say that so he just nudges her side softly with his arm letting her know he's not mad at her. He would have hugged her but he knows that will make him want to kiss her again.

(In the Base after the mission)
"The wasp system is decommissioned well done team and you to Agent Bays you've done M.I.25 proud" Frank proudly said signing the last few words for Amber.
"The government must be pretty pleased with what we're doing bringing in other teenage spy's and everything….maybe Amber should leave M.I.25" Oscar very nervously said.
As Oscar turned to Amber, Rose and Carrie started smiling like Cheshire cats and Frank even smiled a little and rose his eyebrows, but Melody was in shock at what he was saying that feeling returned to her stomach more intense than ever, so much that she nearly curled over but she managed to stay standing and just put a hand over her stomach hoping it would pass. But every word that came out of Oscar's mouth as he asked Amber to join them made that feeling just grow till she was almost in tears.
"What I'm trying to say is we're the same" he says and signs to Amber.
But she just puts her hands on his then signs back. Oscar doesn't understand what she signed so looks at her puzzlingly.
"I work alone" She manages to say.
Oscar feels his heart sink. This is the second time today he's put emotions first and got shot down. Why does this keep happening? What's wrong with him?
"Right well you should all get back upstairs before your missed" Frank softly states trying to change the subject.
Still no one has noticed the pain in Melody's eye as she takes a deep breath and hides it like she does every emotion, it's what she was trained to do.

(Back upstairs its home time)
Amber says her goodbyes to Oscar then moves to Carrie and Rose who both give her a hug, she moves along to Melody who just looks at her for a second then back at the ground still feeling whatever it was making her stomach feel like its tuning over.
Amber walks up to the doors at the end of the corridor.
"She's lovely" Carrie trying to cheer up Oscar who just makes an agreeing sound.
Amber stops when she reaches the doors then turns back and starts signing.
"What's she doing?" Oscar asks Rose.
"It's a highly complex code combining alphabetical and numerical characters" Rose answers.
"Can you translate" Oscar quickly takes out a pen and starts writing on his hand.
"It will take time the sequencing it totally unfamilia 9…." Rose starts to translate as Carrie cuts in.
"Whoa whoa whoa text me it's a phone number" Carrie points out.
"Oh yea!" Rose taking another look at his hand.
That was it the weird feeling got so much Melody really did curl over a little. Before Oscar could finish the number he saw Melody and quickly dropped the pen and put his hands on her shoulders.
"Mel what's wrong?" all thought of the less than half written number on his hand forgotten.
"I don't know I've had this weird feeling all day if this is what feeling sick feels like I don't like it" trying to take deep breaths.
"Let's get you down to Frank he'll know what to do Carrie Rose I'm sure it won't take long you can go" Oscar says to the other girls as they stand there looking slightly worried .
"As long as your both sure" Rose uncertainly says, not really wanting to leave Melody, she is one of her oldest friends.
Both Oscar and Melody nod.
"Text us if it's anything serious, even if it isn't, text us to say you're ok" Carrie sternly says as she is gently pulling Rose to the door.
Oscar puts Melody's arm over his shoulder and helps her down to the base.
The lift doors open now Melody has had a little time to recover she can walk on her own.
"Frank something's wrong with Mel" Oscar says as he is walking out of the lift.
"Tell him something he doesn't know" Melody jokes
Frank smiles slightly and shakes his head.
"Well with that comment she seems ok to me" He replies still smiling.
"I'm being serious she just curled over in the hallway saying she's been having this weird feeling all day"
"Ok ok Oscar calm down Melody sit and I'll give you a check-up but I doubt your sick seeing as no one else is and it would take a very strong virus to stand a chance against your immune system" Frank pulls out a chair for her and she sits.
"Oscar why don't you go home she'll be fine with me"
"No something's wrong with her I'm not leaving" He folds his arms and just stares at Frank.
"Ok ok but you should go wait in the other room it would be easier for her if you weren't in here" Frank stands up and puts a hand on his shoulder.
Oscar looks around at Melody who just nods. He unfolds his arms and walks through.
Frank pulls up a chair in front of her.
"Ok well I guess first question what does it feel like?"
She looks at him then looks around trying not to look back at him.
"Melody please I'm trying to help I know you don't like needing other people but you will need others sometimes"
"Like I want to be sick and cry and punch something all at the same time"
"Hu ok well when did you first feel it?"
"In first lesson when Oscar volunteered to be with Amber"
He smiles slightly starting to see what is going on.
"Uh-huh and in lessons if you're ever told to pair up he goes with you but didn't this time….. Ok let me take a stab in the dark and say you got this feeling whenever you saw Amber with one of your friends?"
"Well she only really talked to Rose and Carrie before they said bye but yea I guess I did but it really got intense when Oscar asked her to join the team then when she was giving him her phone number "
He smiles bigger and laughs a little bit.
"Just as I thought" he got up putting his chair back at the desk.
"What? What is it?"
"well from the sound of it your jealous, you aren't familiar with it because most children would have felt it as they grow up seeing other kids have something they want or in a case like yours seeing friends being with new people"
"No I don't get jealous I don't feel things like others you know that"
"Over the last year you have gotten very close to Oscar today was the first time I've seen you two arguing since the day you met. I should have seen it then. Each time Ambers name came up you would always get very tense "
"Well I blame my childhood no one let me make friends back then"
Frank smiles again and hugs her.
"I'm pretty sure we can blame a lot on your childhood" he laughs.
His cover phone rings and he answers it then hangs up.
"You ok down here? Mrs King wants me to take apart the main control unit in her office" She looks up at him and nods.
"I'll be five minutes" He runs into the lift.
Oscar runs in as he hears the sound of the lift shooting up.
"What? Where is he going? What about you?" all the questions seemed to blend into one as he walked towards her.
"Its fine he told me what the problem was and like I thought its nothing I can't handle" she tries to walk past him to the lift but he steps in front of her.
"Is that it? That's all I get you know what's wrong and you won't tell me" he holds her arms so she can't walk away.
"Oscar it's nothing just a new feeling I wasn't use to"
"Mel what was it!"
"I WAS JEALOUS" her eyes opened side not knowing what he would say.
He let go of her arms and just smiled a little.
"What do you have to be jealous of? I mean you're the smartest, you're the most confident girl in the school and you're the most beautiful" Melody looked up at him as he realized what he said.
"Well….well course I mean that you…erm that all the boys in school seem to take notice of your more"
"It was Amber" she looks away from him.
"Why would she make you jealous?"
"Frank said it was probably because she just came in and started taking everyone's attention away from me"
"Well that's not true you're not that type of girl. You don't care about who's paying attention to you."
"You're right I don't care what others are paying attention to. I care what you're paying attention to through"
He just looks up at her a little shocked. He thought she didn't like him.
"So you were jealous of Amber because what I was paying more attention to her?" he asked looking very confused.
"I was jealous because I saw you were starting to like her ok. I can't have you but I don't want you to be with anyone else" she is close to tears as she stops talking.
After a long pause.
"Ok I won't be" he says very softly.
"What?" Melody replies with so softly it sounds like a whisper.
"If it hurts you that much to see me with other girls that I won't be"
"But I'm being completely selfish"
He smiles and laughs.
"I don't want to cause you any pain in anyway" he stokes a bit of hair behind her ear and smiles at her.
Oh forget the rules she really likes him and she can see that he feels the same. They can't continue like this till the end of M. .
She pushes him up against one of the pillars behind him and kisses him. He is caught off guard at first but then when he realises what is going on, he sinks into it and starts kissing back.
That kiss had the same fire and strength as the kiss in his bedroom. His whole body starts to heat up so much, that he takes his jacket off and drops it on the floor. He pulls her close so he can feel her whole body against his.
She pulls his t-shirt out of his trousers and slides her hands underneath so she can feel his skin like the day before. He smiles and turns them so she is up against the wall. He pulls away from her for a moment.
"Wait what about the rules you were so keen on following?" He asked slightly out of breath from the power going into that kiss.
"I decided I don't follow any others, why should I follow that one?" she smiles.
"There must have been a reason you were before"
"I was around when two agents fell in love, a few years later they broke up and it destroyed them both. One of them left, the other will sometimes look at me after I say something or do something and I'll notice he isn't looking at me he's remembering her."
"And you didn't want to get hurt"
"I didn't want to risk hurting you"
With that he walked up close again and picked her up holding her up against the wall. She starts kissing him again and wraps her legs around his hips for more support.
He does the same thing she did and picks up her t-shirt a little so he can get one hand under and places it on her back. Her skin felt so soft beneath his hand it only made him want to feel more, so he gets his other hand under her t-shirt and starts to stroke her back with his fingertips, just like what she's doing on the back of his neck.
He reaches between them and undoes the button and zip on his jeans giving him a tiny bit of relief from the tightness, but it isn't helping for long the more they kiss and pull at each other's clothes the more he's being turned on.
They hear the lift doors close and shoot back up and both look over.
"Franks coming back down" Melody bites her lip he would kill them if he caught them like this.
"Oh ssssshhhhhhhoot" Oscar trying not to swear.
He puts Melody down, does his jeans up, fixes his hair so it looks neat again and picks up his jacket off the floor and holds it in front of his jeans.
Meanwhile Melody straightens her legging out and brushes her fingers though her hair a few times.
The lift doors open and they stand at the desks casually.
"So I guess we should go our carers will be getting worried soon" Melody says as soon as she sees Frank.
"Ummm yes I guess you both should get going as long as you're feeling better" Frank replies very confused.
"Yep all better Oscar and I talked it out nothing to worry about" Melody smiles and they both walk past Frank and into the lift.
"Well I'll see you two tom…" the lift doors close "tomorrow then" he finishes off his sentence to the empty HQ.
