Hey guys! It's me Hyungbin again, and best of all, another chapter has posted... Yay! And this time, I didn't take too long to update, did I? Anyways, I actually don't know whether this chapter will be long or not. Well it took me a long time to write it, but typing takes a lot longer than reading. Well, hope you like it.

Without further ado, chapter 9...

All 6 men ran straight for a fight. They wanted something, something they had been waiting almost forever to get, and that something, was revenge.

An epic battle had begun between the wolves and the dragons. They all fought each other, yet there was one wolf in particular who wasn't fighting. He had other intentions. That man, was the leader of the wolves, Kai.

His mind had only one thought in it. He had no need for revenge on the other dragons, only on Kris, and for that, he needed that boy, Tao.

Ignoring the others fighting, he ran straight for the cabin door, but right before he was able to even touch the doorknob, he felt a hand on the collar of his shirt, and was pulled straight back. Kai looked at his puller, and found out it had been Kris. Kai looked at him. Kris was very strong, and there would be no way for him to pass him with Kris in the way, even if he teleported, Kris would somehow still be able to know where he would usually show up. They had known each other for decades, and Kris had now seen Kai very predictable. Kai couldn't get to Tao, but maybe someone else could.

Kai looked at D.O, who was fighting side by side with Baekhyun against Chen. Kai thought, Baekhyun would probably be strong enough against Chen alone. He called out to D.O.

D.O turned back to look at Kai. He was mouthing something, and although no one heard what he had said, D.O understood him very well. Kai said to him, "Get the boy".

D.O ran straight for the door. Kris saw where D.O was running to, and raced after him. Kris was about to pull him away from the cabin, but before he could reach him, a hand griped onto the back of his neck, and Kris was thrown back away from D.O. Kris's eyes had widened as he saw D.O enter the cabin. Kris only had one thought now. He whispered, "Tao, be safe".

Tao and Suho were still in the living room, hiding away from the fight that was right outside their doors. Tao was sitting on the wooden chair in the corner of the room. He was scared, hearing the explosion. What had happened out there? Was his dad ok? Was four people enough against six?

Tao and Suho widened their eyes, as they heard the sound of a loud squeak, followed by a a crash, as if someone had just kicked the door open. Tao was now panicking. If someone had gone in, had they defeated Kris already? Was everyone outside alright? Suho grabbed hold of Tao's hand and dragged him into the kitchen, but there were windows there, and they could see Chanyeol was there fighting against Luhan, and he knew that if they went in there, and Luhan saw Tao, it would be an even harder fight. Suho stayed with Tao, as they stood in the living room, with no where to hide, and in just a few seconds later, the two of them saw a man walk into the living room, the man who Suho had remembered as D.O.

"Long time no see, Suho hyung..."

"D.O, I don't want any trouble here..."

"Well, we only want the boy, give him to us, and we won't bother you anymore"

"Over my dead body!". Hearing the sentence which had just came out of Suho's mouth, D.O had an scary grin on his face, and Suho didn't like it much. He had never shown that face, ever in his life. It scared Suho.

"Oh Suho, I can't remember the last time we hanged out together, before my brother had died 'murdered' by one of you're own..."

"I was never a part of the killers"

"Sorry hyung, but no one cares much of what you say". Without any moment left to waste, D.O had picked up a wooden table and through it at Tao. Tao had used his hands to cover his face, and closed his eyes shut. He waited for the rough table to slam into his body, yet nothing had happened. He opened his eyes, and realized that Suho had used the power of water to protect him.

"Stay away from Tao". D.O cocked an eyebrow at Suho...

"What are you to him? His mother?"

"Sure, you could say that". D.O picked up the old sofa, and through it at the two, yet Suho made a temporary shield of water. D.O had an angry face on himself.

This time, D.O used his power, the power of Earth, and had sealed them in between two walls of rock, and by the second, the walls were slowly squeezing the two men. This time, Suho didn't know what to do. What could water do against something like this. He tried slashing the walls, hoping that it would break, but it wouldn't budge. He could try making a big water ball and freeze it to make a boulder or something, but it took quite some time to do it. Now, Suho was beginning to panic.

Tao looked at Suho, and his face now looked somewhat scared. Tao himself was panicking now. The wall was getting closer and closer. Tao kept looking at the wall which was now right in front of his face. He wished that the wall would stop, he wished it so bad.

And as if Tao's wishes were heard, the rock wall had stopped moving. The two guys were alive, and now Suho had time for his powers. He knocked down the wall, and for a moment, he thought he had seen D.O frozen for just a second, but then came back to life the next second. D.O was shocked. He hadn't known what had happened to him. He thought he had maybe blacked out or something.

With D.O still in his own thoughts, Suho took that advantage and locked him in a water sphere, a giant water ball, as he suffocated, long enough to knock him out, but not kill him. Suho could never do that to an old friend.

Suho dropped D.O's body on the floor, as he looked at Tao. "You ok?"

"Yeah, I'm fine". Tao only wondered what had happened to D.O. He was that close to killing them, yet all of a sudden, he stopped, and it didn't look like he had stopped on purpose. It looked like his body was frozen or something.

It was only a few seconds later, they heard a large crash from outside. Tao's mind only went to one thought...

"Kris..."

When was the last time Kris had had as many cuts and bruises like this? Maybe about a few decades ago, back on Exo.

Kai picked up Kris by the neck, and where one moment they were in the middle of the field, the next thing you know, they were right below a tree, as Kai slammed Kris's head into it. Kris was about to fight back, but then Kai had teleported them into the middle of Chen and Baekhyun's fight, and Chen had accidentally electrocuted Kris, but of course being the strongest one of their kind, lightning wasn't enough to knock out Kris. Kai then teleported them back to the middle of the field, and had slammed Kris onto the ground, and with full power, that fall was followed by a loud crashing sound. Kai had an devilish grin on his face. He took out a something from his back pocket, a knife, wait, a dagger to be exact. Something about that dagger seemed odd. It looked like a bright blue crystal dagger, and that's when Kris realized, that it was the Exotic, the dagger of Exo.

"Where did you get that?"

"Well, while you were in your castle, being a prince, I was an adventurer. You never knew the things i had found all over our planet". Kai teleported so that he was face to face with Kris and held the dagger down to his torso

Tao ran outside the door, and the first sight he saw wasn't good. Kris was about to die. He was about to see the only father he had die right before his eyes.

"DAD!"

Kris looked at his son, and saw the look on his face. A single tear had dropped down from Kris's eyes, and it went down to his cheek. It was a sudden moment, and Kris felt the pain of the blue crystal dagger thrust into his stomach, with the feeling of thick liquid running down from that deep cut.

Tao saw the horror. He had already seen one father go, and now Kris. Tao yelled so hard, letting all his emotions go, not caring how much tears he had let out. But as Tao screamed, there was a shocking display. Tao saw something that was impossible. He saw Kai pull the dagger out of Kris and teleported back to where he was before he teleported to Kris, leaving Kris lying on the ground. And what made it shocking was the fact that Kris's wound was now gone. It was as if time had moved back a few seconds. Kris looked at his son, and smiled. He and Kai still remembered what had happened, or at least what was suppose to happen. Kris stood up, and looked at Kai.

Kai was now the one panicking. He teleported to behind Kris, yet Kris somewhat saw that coming, and punched him in the stomach. Kris smirked.

"See Kai, I told you. You're predictable". Kris quickly punched him up the jaw, the same place where Tao had kicked him. That punch was a warning, don't mess with them.

Kris held Kai up and took the dagger away from him. Kris looked at Kai, and for some reason, he now felt sorry for him. He dropped Kai on the ground, letting him at least catch his breath. All eyes turned to Kris and Kai. The wolves were in shock, now that Kai was defeated. They were about to take Kai's part, and fight against Kris for revenge, but right before they did, Kris had eyed every single wolf on that field. His eyes had turned into a bloody red color, showing that he was now upset, and didn't want any more trouble. Kris looked back at his son. Tao ran towards his father, and hugged him . Kris felt happy again, now that Tao was safe. He let out all his emotions onto Tao.

But in a sudden moment, every single person there was startled by the someone's voice. It spoke out the name...

"Kris?"

All eyes looked at the source of that voice. It was a woman, and looked like she was in her 20s. Maybe about 26 or 27? She wore a silk black dress, with a blue crystal necklace around her neck, and lastly, she wore 2 black feathers in her hair. She was very beautiful, well that's what Tao thought, but when he looked at Kris's facial expression, he wasn't happy to see her.

"What are you doing here?"

"To get you son"

Cliffhanger! Again! Haha, sorry for it, but I gotta cut it off somewhere... Anyways, hope you liked it, and please forgive me if I had any minor text mistakes earlier. It's one of my bad habits. Next chapter will be interesting, and it will explain what happened earlier when time moved back, but if you are an Exotic or EXO fan, you would already know what's that about...
